Climate controlled and you drive your car *inside* so you can drop off or pickup items regardless of weather and outside elements. Best storage facility Ive ever used and the office area has complementary snacks during business hours. I was helping a friend move some items and didnt have to worry about things soaked as it was raining heavily at the time but we (and the boxes) stayed perfectly dry...
The team of storage professionals here are a step above the rest. The entire staff: Lisette, Jessica, Emma, and Craig have been kind, accommodating, and have gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company, as it is clean, well lit and easily accessible.
I had come to 1800 Self storage after an absolutely horrible experience with public storage and To be honest I wasn’t expecting much difference. Craig and Jessica were immediately welcoming and willing to help and answer any questions I had. The staff is the most friendly I have ever encountered and they facility is well taken case of. I would recommend this storage over any other!
This facility is excellent. For the price you are paying it is truly fantastic. They have triple security and are very business oriented for small businesses. 10/10 best place to store anything and is worth every penny
Just got a storage unit. On of the best costumer service staff I have meet in long time. Very helpful and great to work with. The unit was clean and ready to move in.The enclosed covered unload area is worth the price, climate controlled.

Very friendly and accommodating! Free use of truck to move in, free pop and ice cream, what more could you ask for? Oh yea, dont tell my wife, but they sell great, long lasting flowers at the lowest price anywhere!
I would have given this a 5 star review however recent changes with staff who work remotely are very problematic. Never able.to accomplish anything without a major hassle. as an example I contracted for another unit and remote unethical (untrained)/staff gave my 2nd unit to someone else as I was preparing to move in.Worse, many tenants are business owners who came here bc it offers 24 hr access. Today. 4/25/20 i discovered that they have removed 24 hr access, without notice, and in breach of contract.. Now they restrict gate access contrary to the 24 hour access promise in their own advertising..
ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVE this place!!!The staff go above and beyond. Jessika and Craig are two of the nicest people you could EVER meet. I HIGHLY recommend this facility.Extremely clean as well.
Very clean and great access without exposure to the weather ( hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.). Overflow storage unit for items I cant part with, yet! Giving me the time to sort through possessions and memories.
This place is amazing. Its clean, bright, and safe. Jessika was willing to work with us in every way to make our move in simple and efficient. Highly recommended!

2022-04-15Yes the Plymouth location is managed by well rounded supervisors. They actually care. They are not like other storage facilities. Other storage facilities will simply sell your storage facility to the highest bidder after two or more weeks.I am a disabled first responder mainly a Texas Correctional Officer whom could have worked death row. They simply wait until I get paid and simply deduct my debit card. They wait a day or two and debit my card. Outstanding service.. This company treats you as a person. They are not like other storage facilities that simply want to sell your belongings to the highest bidder. I am simply stating this because I was hospitalized due to my injuries and had a storage unit with a different company. The other storage facility simply made a vast profit off me.

2022-06-04Place is immaculate, but pricey!They have great staff, if anything payment wise gets messed up, they will work with you to fix it. Love that so much, REAPECT.But you get what you pay for, you have to go through 3 checkpoints to get in and out.Computer automated code machines with a indoor loading bay big enough for semi trucks. Beautiful. Just pricey! Your stuff will stay safe and temperature controlled. And the risk of thievery is very low. Theyd have to try so hard, and theyd still be recorded every step of the way.

2021-05-22I wont go anywhere else. Craig and Jessika are great to work with and they will truly help you out with all your needs. The facility is always clean... always. This is my third time using this facility and this time will be a long term lease that I am planning.The Pros: Clean, Climate controlled, garage tunnel out of the weather for loading, flatbed carts always where you need them, clean bathroom, free ice cream & water (super nice), board room available, mailboxes, and very secure.Not only all of this but the owners are now reinvesting their money into a covered RV and Trailer parking. You know youve got a great company when they are expanding and investing.

2021-03-24Great storage facility, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Their truck is great, better than anything you can rent and its free with move in. Did I mention the free ice cream and water? I have rented a storage unit previous to this one and what set this place apart for me is after 6 months when we moved out, none of our stuff was dusty and there was not one insect in the entire unit. I would rent here again without hesitation.

2021-11-15Laurie at the self storage in Plymouth made the stress of moving a lot easier to deal with, her professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none. She kept me informed, up to date with everything I need to do to secure a unit to rent, even the free use of a truck to move everything into the unit.I highly recommend the Stow and Go on Ann Arbor road and Lilley rd, for your storage needs.

2018-03-07I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with my storage unit here. The facility is extremely clean, in great shape, and the loading/ unloading area is covered and temperature controlled. All of the units are temperature controlled too! They have a truck for rental, and carts to easily move your belongings from the car to the unit. The office staff (Craig and Jessica) are amazingly friendly and helpful. They made everything easy during an otherwise very stressful move. I think the prices are great considering all of the included ammenities. I would highly recommend this storage facility and will definitely be using them again in the future.

2018-07-03This place is amazing. It is bright, clean, and safe. All of the units are alarmed, there is coded entry in and out, and the best part is that it is climate controlled. The staff is extremely helpful and even made sure that our package got to the right unit, even though it was addressed wrong! Jessika was very helpful with getting us moved in. They have boxes for sale if you need them and free waters and snacks in the office. I have never been to a self storage company that cares so much about its customers or has such genuinely friendly staff.

2019-12-23Self Storage Specialists has been unexspectively great to work with. The prices are by far the cheapest and and the units are spacious for the price. Stacie at the Plymouth location has been exceptional in serving me and my familys need. I will always recommend this business to everyone I know..

2017-02-20Fantastic storage facility. Clean, well managed, secure. The front office offers cold waters and small snacks for free. Plus they have a free moving truck on site that is basically new, mid-sized, and easy to drive. Great value all around!
