We started with a medium size unit but quickly filled that, so Ariel was so amazing she had us transferred to a bigger one with ease. Definitely recommend A-1. Comment: It’s clean and supposedly temperature controlled. I wish they had a soda/water vending machine and a regular restroom instead of portable one. I was there for a few hours Friday evening and a guy was sitting in his truck with gardening equipment in the back. He sat for a couple of hours. He seemed to be intoxicated. I saw him go into porta potty then leave. I went to use restroom about 10 min later before I left and had to walk back out. He had urinated all over inside. Very disgusting! I had to wait to go somewhere else. For the price of rent to store things you would think they could invest in a regular bathroom.

I hope the new person is as just as good and easy to deal with as Billy was because if they are like the lady that was there before Billy, Im going to be disappointed.This place is great. Its clean, well lit and they have the best access hours. Billy is wonderful! He takes the time to work with you and he always finds solutions to any issues you may have. This is my boyfriends and my third time coming back to this place because its the best storage facility in all of OC! I currently have three units there and everytime I had to ask Billy for his help getting the best rate, he always gives me a list of different options and lets me see which works best for me in terms of keeping costs reasonable! Its good, hard working people like Billy that really make customers happy to come back year after year to A-1!

We finally moved all the machines to San Diego. in a very affordable situation.Billy is the best, of the best, very kind, efficient and responsive to the clients needs.I recommend this facility, highly because of the manager here.Some of the other competitors I would not give a plug nickel, of my money ever again.

I think the only small problem I had was that I always had to step out of my car to type in the gate code to drive in. I thought the key pad was too close to the gate and was a little out of position. Staff was always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Comment: I was reluctant about going to an unmanned kiosk on their premises to rent a storage unit. The kiosk is not really unmanned but attended by an off-site employee who has control over the computer in the kiosk. The person who helped me at the kiosk was super friendly and so nice as I stumbled about trying to figure out how it worked. Everything was computerized and automatic, including a lock set that dropped out like it was an ATM machine. The forms, pass codes and all the other information I needed was verbally given to me, printed in front of me to take and later emailed to me. Extremely impressive. I am generally not a fan of full automation because of the lost human contact. Not so here. I felt I had better customer service on the phone and through this kiosk than a lot of businesses. Even the two groundskeepers/cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Great job, A-1. This world needs more customer service and efficiency like this!

Comment: This is my 2nd time having a storage unit, so when I decided to use A1 I was NOT disappointed. Maricela was extremely helpful. She went through all the paperwork with me (which is great - that way there is nothing missed). All was good when I left that day. A few days later I realized I needed a bigger unit and Maricela was happy to help me with that. Told me to come on by and let me know the hours they were opened. Upon arriving she had the new paperwork ready for me just needed to sign a few sheets. One day she helped me outside with paying my rent on the computer (she had heard me talking back to the computer about not working for me). I have been there a month now and every time I see her she has a warm smile. I feel safe at that location and the units are very clean as well as the property. Thank you

The facility is clean, secure, and well maintained with great access hours.. but the best feature apart from the very competitive pricing is the amazing service.
