Comment: I been a member for two straight years now, I had them for many years previous but things happen so I had to let them go. However, I am informing everyone to check their insurance rate but mine with up. I called an asked why and I was told, “ Because AAA lost money last year they rated the customers rate to replace their lost. Next they are charging customers a “ Finance Charge.” Correct if I am wrong but don’t “Finance mean provide funding for ( a person or enterprise.) So my problem is What is AAA is financing for us? Therefore, how can they be charging a finance charge? This got to stop! We are paying them they are not financing nothing for me or you. Please call and check for your rate of insurance and what is your finance charge. The lady told me that they only applying finance charges to those who pay monthly.

Fast forward and now I was involved in a car accident and they refuse to pay for anything that they promised when I signed up. I was 100 percent not a fault and now have medical bills from a back injury and still they are not budging on following through with what they say they will do. My advise is this company lies to you and please take your money elsewhere

That counter could not accept payments because their computer had a problem. A waste of my time and gas. I dont call this good service at all. Deal with these people via mail, youre better off.

Comment: My son and I paid registration fees on his motorhome last April, there was some late fees and the total came to a little over $400. This would give him 2022 tags good until July 2022. The AAA clerk, named Valerie informed us that if we payed $130 more, we could register it until July 2023. We agreed and payed approximately $530 to Valerie. We still needed to get a smog certificate so we had the smog check done right after we left AAA. It passed and he went back to AAA to get the tags. He was helped by an Asian woman who gave him 2022 tags. My son has gone back twice to resolve this matter only to hear that they dont have a record of him paying for 2023 tag fees. This is so unprofessional and has caused my son a lot of trouble with the police threatening to tow the motorhome for expired tags. Very disappointed with the AAA and wont be renewing our memberships.

It took over 6 hours just to get a tow truck and I didnt even go through aaa to get the tow truck. I was denied over 10 times for the tow truck. I was stranded for hours at a place I barely knew. DONT BUY AAA OR AAAAAA BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER PICK YOU UP.

I showed up at 9 am when they opened the lady that greeted me at the door asked what I needed to do. And before I can finish what I was saying she rudely cut me off and proceeded to argue with me saying they could not complete the transaction there well after being arguementive with an attitude rudely says we will see what we can do. So I waited for my name to be called and went to the window and guess what not a single issue with the process

Comment: If you think waiting at AAA for your DMV services is long, think again. AAA may have a bit of a line, but there is a good parking lot, waiting room, and bathrooms. AAA provides good variety of services, and are very efficient. Service dogs allowed.

Comment: Do not book with AAA. The worst agency to book a flight with. Booked a flight through AAA website from Atlanta to Palm Springs. Received an email that said confirm but not ticketed. Boyfriend went to the airport and they told him ticket was canceled. Called AAA they said they said it was canceled because I didn’t call them within 24hours of receiving the “Action Required” email. I called them immediately after I got that email but the voicemail said it was after hours, so I waited until 8am to call when o spoke to an agent they said the ticket was canceled. So my boyfriend is standing there with the ticket agent telling him he can’t bored. But yet the next day they charged me $346.21 for the flight they said they canceled. This is the worse company do not book flights with AAA.

Comment: I got their 15 minutes before closing and they would not let anyone in because they were closing at 5pm. They were still open for business until 5 and that means the doors are open until 5 pm but they were turning anyone who came there because they didnt want to take anymore customers. The lady worker at the door said you have to come at least 30 minutes before they close for them to let you inside. I never had that problem at the Riverside office.

The BEST experience I have EVER had there! Here is a woman who really knows and understands DMV and the varying nuances. I explained my situation and she got right to getting everything I needed. Very polite, understanding and a great listener......OUTSTANDING......(previous visits have NOT been so productive with other staff members)!!! We have been in some pretty interesting mishaps where we have had to call. From the first You have reached the Hemet Automobile Club to the. Help is on its way I have been treated with concern, professionalism and reassurance. Also, have never had a rude or inexperienced tow truck driver. I would recommend them to anyone I care about. In fact when our mothers were alive we made sure they had and our daughter too. We have the premiere membership and our RV too. Today I needed a trip tik and car rental. I was taken care of right away. Didnt even have to go in. All emailed to me. A special thanks to Natalie in Travel.

But recently, as I needed their assistance with policy changes and spoke to several staff I received different answers which were inconsistent.It took me two days to add a new vehicle to my policy bc the agent wouldnt answer her phone or return my emails in a timely manner.While enroute to pick up my vehicle I had car issues and needed a tow; come to find out I didnt have the 100 mile tow service pkg I had signed up for(another clerical error). I had to pay out of pocket..This is unacceptable and frustrating. As for me and my family we will be shopping for a different insurance company.

Friendly faces, great service and usually accommodating. This last trip was more difficult since there is no place to sit to wait inside or to be helped. For someone who cannot stand for any longer than a minute in one spot it was really difficult to get the things I needed to get done because I was standing for far too long and there were no seats available. I even asked if there was a seat I could use while doing the transactions and no response which couldve been because of the masks. I am very appreciative of AAA and what they do, however I do wish they would have a chair here and there for patrons who are in need. My cane and the fact that I was there to get a handicapped placard I guess didnt show the need for a chair.

After taking a whole day of going between the court and DMV, trying to figure out why a ticket was still showing up on AAAs record, I finally got an answer from the court stating this is how we have always reported our records to insurance companies for the past decade, an it indicates that you went to traffic school and its been removed. After a dozen calls to both parties and 3 trips into the AAA office they rewrote our policy only to send another letter 2 weeks later stating that our homeowners policy was again cancelled due to non payment. This forced us to go to State Farm to obtain coverage as AAA seemed unable to get things straightened out and our lender was threatening. Now I get a call and a letter from AAA informing me that because our primary residence is not with them, they will not renew the policy on our rental, forcing us to take that policy elsewhere as well. It seems that AAA has gotten too big. The right hand doesnt know what the left is doing and the personal touch is gone. Eleven years, never missed a payment or filed a claim and this is the customer service we have supposedly been paying for. Now well probably end up moving all of our vehicles as well. Why give them our business? They certainly did nothing to deserve our loyalty.

Hemet branch has really changed since Mary left .The new front lady thats greets everyone is more like a prison guard not friendly wont smile.very disappointed

Comment: I have been a member for Over 25 years. If you noticed, when you see commercials or advertisements for auto insurance like Geico and theyll list all these other companies that theyre better than; but did you ever notice AAA is never there in that list. Because the AAA club is really good at what they do. My auto insurance is really inexpensive. My daughter switched from AAA to one of the other named places like Farmers or something like that and she was with them for a little while and guess what she went back to AAA. So from the amount of years that Ive been using them that order tell you how good I believe they are. They cover everything auto insurance, home insurance, renters Insurance, they can handle your travel needs, Even do DMV there takes 10-15 minutes and youre done how great is that. Buying a car do it through AAA they can help you get the paperwork together. 👍🙌✅🆗

Comment: I totally understood that they were completely busy but when you have a child that is only three or four and they had to go to the restroom and on your way back you hear your name and youre on your way back I wasnt gonna tell Im right here over other people right before I got to er she called someone else to the counter I explained Im right here sorry Im walking from the bathroom well you dont say oh Im not going to help you when that person is right there what if I was disabled and couldnt yell and I couldnt walk that fast just because Im younger and I have children dont make me not have rights as well I asked nicely just to give me the amount what my registration would have been and Ill come back and pay she threw a fit and went and got her supervisor which then they made it a big deal how they told the other lady that shell need to sit down and wait just a moment Im so sorry and I said it will only take a second I need amount only and she gave me the amount which I appreciate it thank you very much but was it really that hard for you just to give somebody a minute to walk from the bathroom and let me go very sad I was put on that spot to feel that way

Comment: Most excellent, courteous, and helpful staff! I went here after seeing the horrific line at the DMV. Lamerria helped me through some rather challenging license plate issues quickly and happily. I was in and out with new plates and stickers in less than 25 minutes! Strong work!

Comment: Went for trip planning. Disastrous to say the least. They booked hotels that were HORRIBLE, and not even located along my route. This was after waiting 1/2 hour to get a Trip Tic( worthless), then another 20 minutes to see another person to book hotel rooms along the way. I wound up planning my route( CA TO NJ) via my smartphone. Extremely disappointing and will not use this service again!

Comment: I went in to the hemet office to get insurance and a membership..... had the pleasure of talking with Dustin... who promptly signed us up without really explaining anything to us and charged my card 170$or so.... without everything he needed to process our insurance and then when I tried to use my membership they said it was due and had been frozen..... so after clarifying and about 20 min on the phone I needed a tow.... across town maybe 8 or 9 miles and I was informed that they only tow 7 miles a flipping year.... and that was with the medium membership. So the next day I tried getting ahold of Dustin... and couldnt get ahold of him till the third day in which case I told him I wanted to cancel both Ins. And membership.... he said he couldnt without my bank account number and the registration on the vehicle I had purchased.. although they took the money without those they couldnt cancel it without them! So after days of no call back and no answer from managers and finally going down to the office.... I got a call that it was cancelled and I would be getting a refund of 70 dollars..... that I still have not recieved from them!!! They are crooks they charged me 100 dollars for nothing but a hassle I will never go to AAA AGAIN FOR ANYTHING! And DUSTIN, you sir are a crook! I should have ran when in the middle of our meeting a customer of yours want pleased at all and came in yelling at you

Comment: Best insurance shopping experience EVER! Dustin Marlatt was wonderful to work with, explained everything, was professional yet at the same time, almost like talking to a friend! Saved me over 1000 the 1st year, and another 1000 next year. WHY we stayed with Mercury/AIG for over 4 years (getting RIPPED off) is beyond me. SO happy to have joined the AAA family, and look forward to many many years of excellent service!
