Comment: I have been a customer of Glendale Acura for 5+ years and am an 11 out of 10 satisfied customer. In a city notorious for awful customer service, Acura of Glendale is a beacon. As a single mom and someone without local family, being able to trust the service department with my two Acuras has been invaluable. Theyve even assisted me in a pinch with a few quick fixes, and performed them complimentary, such as replacing an inexpensive fuse to my speakers today, or tying up the undercarriage cover when it fell off (this is my 2010 Acura TSX). Because Acuras are the best vehicles in every respect, the service department is very reliable and trustworthy, and when I was in the market, it was easy to choose Acura of Glendale as the location I would purchase my third Acura.About a month and a half after I purchased it, I popped my tire on the curb for the first time. Acura Care was a breeze to work with and towed my vehicle to the dealership early in the morning. By the time it opened, they had already repaired my tire and submitted a warranty claim - I was yet again amazed. Although I dont know them personally, they treat you how I imagine good family would treat you. Theyve exceeded my expectations in every respect, and Im really thankful for the wonderful people that work there that have taken care of me and my family. My daughter, a new driver, even brought the car in once, and the representative helping her was so kind and patient to explain all that was needed to both of us and handled us with velvet gloves. Thank you for being a light in a world that could otherwise be challenging. Acura of Glendales service department is THE BEST! Shout out to Rodger, Brad, and the many others that have assisted us year after year.

Comment: On Wednesday morning I noticed my collage sons car that we gave for transmition repair had problem again an as a mom very worried and desperate that what he will do so I call Andre and explain the situation and told him I can not buy brand new . He knows exactly what Im talking about and told me we have very good low millage certified pre owned ones and send me some some information and I just told him we will be there soon.The minute we checked in we were welcome warm with Andre and the manager and in less than hours we come out with a very nice car that my son got in love with it and more important as a mom I feel good that he will drive safe. They didn’t try to break me or starve me to death like other dealerships. I was a satisfied customer.There was a confusion with the remote start, the Aspec didn’t come with it which I wanted. A week later the dealership/owner contacted me and resolve the issue. They installed an aftermarket remote start for me.Early Christmas gift from Santa!Thank You Mr Brewer

Comment: My car needed to have its emissions monitor reset to be smog tested and this Acura did a great job of fixing it quickly and fitting me in for an appointment.I was really worried about my car since it’s new and even after troubleshooting and constant hours of driving a particular way, my car was still throwing an error that meant I couldn’t bring my car in for smog testing. I had spent a lot of time trying to research and fix it on my own before calling the dealership.When I called, the service manager, John, was especially really great. He listened to what was wrong and made the entire process of fixing the car quick and easy. The employees here are really kind and I recommend coming here for any of your Acura needs!

He kept asking for my budget, what price range, that it goes on package steps... etc. I was clear I needed to decide on the car first. He sounded like he was annoyed and upset the more I looked. He sounded mad while telling me that when am I making my choice, why I cant decide.. am I driving off the lot today. I looked at less than 10 cars in the Whole lot. And I only got a good look at 2/3 of them from the outside. During this time he kept telling me they were the same. That thats not how you car shop. I asked twice if they were used cars, he said yes. Everyone knows used cars arnt all the same. I didnt get to look at my first choice like I wanted. Its not even close to the same looking at a car online to me. Way to go on persuading me to pick the car. I didnt even get to look inside since I didnt get to pick the car I wanted to see. What happened to the buyer choosing what they want. The sales people here must be beyond desperate.

He took time to explain all the aspects of service, but he couldnt change or overwrite one detail as described below.I have a problem with charging me for service 1 when my tires are removed anyway to perform service B that includes measurements of brake pads/disks and calipers. They are putting tire back anyway, just onto different axel and charging $$ for that? For moving a tire 6 to place onto different hub and calling it a tire rotation.I am disappointed for advisors to be under pressure from Acura to upsell this service.I would gladly hear a response from anyone higher up on food-chain at Acura - shoot it to lakings91 at gmail. A service gentleman at this location tried to tell me that part of my car was “aftermarket” when I knew it was not. He later figured out the problem and I asked him what I should do about that “aftermarket” part, and he said to me that it is not aftermarket, and they just say that when they can’t figure something out. Lied. To. My. Face. He took advantage of me not knowing anything about cars and then admitted to lying.After getting my car worked on, they did not reconnect the battery properly which left me stranded with my kids when the battery randomly stopped working after driving it home. So dangerous.I also had another issue with my car and they tried to turn it into another (far far more expensive issue) that I thankfully later learned was unnecessary.Lastly, they wanted to offer me a “deal” on doing a service 9,000 miles early (the 100,000 mile service) saying they would only charge $1,100 since they were “already in the engine.” I promptly called my trusted service guy (who I would normally go to all the time but sometimes I come to the dealership out of convenience since it’s closer) and he told me that even when he’s not in the engine he charges just $1,050 and I should take advantage of the 9,000 miles I have left before the service is due.I understand that Acura has a larger overhead, but for your own wallets sake, find a trusted independent service company.Overall the gentlemen I worked with were very kind and responsive but the actual car service here can not be trusted. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but after all of these negative experiences I will not be returning (unless it’s for free-of-cost extended warranty fix which is why I went here this last time).

I brought my car in for the first time on the 31st for an issue most semi-car savvy people could have easily fixed themselves, but I am not, so I could not. Without going into detail, they completed this easy fix complimentary, did a full check-up on the car and gave it a clean bill of health besides a few small issues I chose to remedy. I even took advantage of their shuttle service to bring me to and from work, which was a convenient godsend and saved me money on Uber expenses. Every single time I visit, the level of detail, expediency, and attitude goes above and beyond what I’m used to. They’re quick too. Today I noticed an issue, it was 9AM, I called for an appointment assuming I’d just get one the following day. They did my brakes, rotors, washed my ride, and had a no-cost rental for me should I need to dash early. The total time took 1 hour and 10 minuets. They get me sorted in a clutch all the time. You’ll never get an attitude from anyone working there which says a lot about the leadership. I imagine they’re all great people to work for, and keep their employees happy. What more can I say? We had questions the ladies at the Acura booth couldnt answer and Art helped us out. One month later we went into the dealer looking to test drive and Art was very helpful answering more questions that we both had. Never did we feel rushed or pressured into making the purchase. I would definitely recommend this Acura dealership to anyone looking to purchase an Acura.

They are absolutely garbage cars and here is why.2015 Acura TLX leased it just when it came out from Acura of Glendale. The car very nice. The quality absolutely garbage! Lots of bells and whistles but rarely does this car work properly.From Day one the car has had transmission problems. I am no car expert but if your car tries to stop and then jolts forward a few feet, i believe its a transmission problem. Confirmed it with my own mechanic and yet Acura of Glendale cannot find the problem! How convenient right?If your car however breaks down on the road, forget any actual help from Acura Roadside. That is a scam to say the very least. Call center is full of idiots! Management cannot control call quality, and it takes multiple times to get a tow truck even when you specifically ask for a tow. Oh wait, when you do get a tow truck, good luck! Its over 1.5 hours of wait for less than a mile away from the dealership in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. Can you believe that..Try any other car company. Do not waste your money on defective crap of a car from Acura of Glendale

Comment: My wife and I leased a 2016 Acura MDX. I reached out to Dwight via email to make initial contact and set up a time to come in. Dwight responded promptly and was totally no pressure the entire time. Upon arrival, Dwight had already pulled up the MDX my wife was interested in and also had another MDX in a different color and with a different package nearby just for comparison sakes. Sure, the other one was more expensive, but there was no steering us towards that one, no pressure on us. He encouraged us to just take a look and let him know which one wed like to test drive.When we decided, Dwight had to leave so he passed us off to his partner, Alton. Like Dwight, Alton was a total pro. Knew everything about the vehicle, answered all our questions, and was also no pressure. Come deal time, Alton gave us a great price. He presented us all of our options in terms of leasing v. buying. And when we decided to lease, Alton walked us through every step and made everything very simple to understand.Look, bottom line, I give Acura of Glendale my highest rating. I know, I know, kind of strange, but my experience has been amazing.I leased a car from Dwight Rogers almost 3 years ago, and he has gone above and beyond throughout my entire lease. Any time I have an issue with the car, Dwight tells me to let him know and he will take care of it (and he does—he sets up service for me, does all the communication with the service department, etc.). He is the sales guy! He doesnt have to be that accommodating years after the car was leased!!Oh, and when I say any issue, my issues in the entire lease of the car have been related to pairing my phone with the bluetooth. I didnt know how to do it on my own when I got a new cell phone, so the service people did it for me. I know, totally embarrassing, but knowing how great their staff is, I knew it would be faster if they helped me!The service has been pretty great, too. The waiting room has free wifi, so sometimes I bring my computer and get work done while I wait.Every time I go in to the dealership I ask for Dwight just so I can say hello. He is that awesome. I got a great deal on my car, and I always felt like Dwight was being honest and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Special order part came in the very next morning and I was able to get an appointment within the hour. Comment: After contacting several dealerships in my area, Acura of Glendale had the best price for a new 2015 Acura MDX. Alton Ho beat the nearest competitor hands down!. The best part is that the dealership is the closest to my home! I appreciated the honest, open transaction with this dealer. No switch or needless markups! My wife and I had our own financing coming into the deal, but Robert Stern in finance was able to beat that rate. A very efficient and painless process.After purchase, we had a glitch with one key not working. Since my wife had left the dealer with the single working key, Alton personally drove me to meet my wife. He delivered the car to our home the next day as promised and helped my wife understand how to use the features of the car. We have even gone back to see Alton after the sale to learn how to figure out a few more tricks with the MDX. All in all, a superior experience. The best of the 4 Acuras I have purchased!

Comment: The other day I returned my old Acura TL and picked up my new TLX from Acura of Glendale. This was my 3rd car leased from Glendale and it couldnt have gone more smoothly. I dealt with Dwight Rogers and he had everything ready for me when I arrived. After finishing up the paperwork Dwight went over features of my new car. I had gotten the Technology Pkg so it was a bit overwhelming -- knowing that, Dwight just hit the highlights and told me to call him whenever I had more questions. In fact I contacted him today and he responded within 10 minutes! They really make what is normally a stressful experience into a pleasant one. I have recommended them to several of my friends and all were happy to have gone there. Go there and ask for Dwight -- hes the best!

Comment: I have had two TSXs and am now driving the new 2015 TLX 4-cyl with the 8-speed dual-clutch automatic. Only have 680 miles on it (according to AcuraLink) and it is a fantastic car. I made a round trip to Las Vegas and back and, based on the miles driven and the number of gallons of gas I personally pumped into the car, I got an absolutely unbelievable 45.2 mpg.This is the second car I have purchased from Maurice. As always, he was professional and a joy to work with. And my first time working with Alton Ho in Finance ... also very professional and a pleasure to work with.So, a very positive rating to the two guys I dealt with, the dealership ... and the car!

The person I worked with was Tony.I took in my 2004 Acura with a list of issues and asked them to check it out.The car was in a minor fender bender (no damage to the frame at all) before and it had a replaced aftermarket fender.I get a call a couple of hours from Tony. He told me that they mechanics found that the car was involved in a MAJOR collision. He claimed that the mechanics discovered a broken engine mount that made it really obvious. He then said that this means that my warranty is now void and I have to spend $400 just for his mechanics to even check out the car.At this point I thought wow that sucks, I should get a second opinion.I took it to my reliable mechanic, radis, and had them take a look. Raymond, without hesitation or charge raised it up on a lift and did a thorough check. He basically told me that there was NOTHING wrong with the engine mount and Tony was completely BS me so they wouldnt have to fix my Acura for free under the warranty.Finally! an honest opinion worthy of my 5 star rating.I then went to Acura of Alhambra and they said the same thing Raymond (from Radis) said. Minor fender bender, no broken engine mount, still under warranty. Acura of Alhambra fixed all my cars issues without charge.Moral of the story: go to Acura of Glendale if you want to spend a lot of money be taken advantage of. Better yet, just come to me. Ill take advantage of you and your money ;-)

Im not one to even write reviews about businesses, I just move on with life, but not this time. Im here to expose this new car salesman at Acura of Glendale named Mike A. Hes the Armenian guy and I cant remember his last name, but you can ask for the new guy Mike and then make sure you avoid him at all cost.Long story short, Mike is like most sleezy salesmen that know nothing about their product, the business of sales and most often lack integrity. I hope youre reading this Mike. We had an agreement, came to a deal and when it came time for us to sign paperwork EVERYTHING changed.Mike all of a sudden got amnesia and couldnt remember anything and I requested to speak to the sales manager (of course the original sales manager was out on vacation) and even the sales manager was confused at Mikes story.Bottom line, I wont get into all the details, but Im not sure if the entire dealership works to deceive people, but Mike has got to be one of the most disgraceful car salesmen Ive ever met.Fortunately, we went on to another Acura dealership and got the deal done with no problems! On to yelp and BBB...

Comment: Ive dealt with a lot of dealerships both purchasing and servicing cars for me and my family. This dealership is by far the best Ive ever dealt with. Its a mom and pop type dealership. Its owned by a couple, not a large corporation or a conglomerate of dealer franchises and you definitely get that family owned feeling every time you come in. Their service, parts, and sales departments all work efficiently with an honest and personal touch.Service:I have an Acura TL and I now get my car serviced there exclusively. The service manager, John, does a fantastic job running the service department. You can tell he trained the service advisers to be knowledgeable, efficient and genuinely care about providing you with the proper service. Theyre all great, but for my money, I prefer Tony as my service adviser. Hes always treated my really well, contacting me regularly to keep me posted on whats happening with my car, honestly telling me whats necessary for me to do with my car rather than up-selling me like a lot of other dealers do, and making certain every thing was done correctly the first time. He hasnt made a mistake and I havent had to go back in for anything. That also has something to do with the fact that the technician who always works on my car, Raffi. All the service staff has been fantastic, but having Tony as my service adviser and Raffi as my tech has been perfect for me.Parts:Much like the service dept, the parts dept has the same family, yet professional feel to it. Hector has always taken good care of me. Hes always done a great job explaining products to me, both stock and custom, and illustrating what theyll do for me.Sales:I bought my TL pre-owned. It was about 2 years old. Their CPO program is great. Not only does this dealership go through all the inspections theyre supposed to, but they go above and beyond what the factory requires. They even offer to show you service records. You never feel like they want to hide anything from you. The sales staff is very professional and knowledgeable. You get the feeling they genuinely want to help you the way you want to be helped. From showing me the car, to negotiating, to signing paperwork, I couldnt have realistically asked for more. They even gave me a great deal on extended warranty (Its less money for Certified Pre-Owned cars). Dale is a great sales rep; hes been with this dealership a long time and is close with the owners. Hes very professional and great to get along with. By far the best sales rep Ive ever dealt with.This dealership is a perfect example of how a car dealership should be run. Its rare to find a place like this with all the horrific experiences everyones had before. This place rocks.
