Couldn’t be happier! Great dentist, kind man who is honest with high integrity. How do I know this? I am/was a hygienist (Jan. 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 4 MBC so I no longer practice). That was how I met Dr. Gagi. He would sub at our office (until he bought his practice here). That is where I came to admire and respect his mind and hands. He always did such thorough patient exams and could relate to patients of all ages. Sometimes, with small children, he would show them pictures of his kids if they seemed nervous to help them relax. His work is great too! He aims for ideal, lasting work. That’s why when I needed a filling, I made an appointment at his office, of course, I wasn’t disappointed! So if you’re looking for a new dental home, this is the place! Nice office, wonderful staff, seek them out! :)
Advanced Dentistry of Troy is world class. They have a fantastic staff, state-of-the-art office, they do great work and they really care. Advanced Dentistry of Troy is by far the most accommodating and compassionate dentist office you will find! I cannot recommend them enough! I’ve only had good experiences there.
The Staff at Dr. Angells office are very friendly and professional. Youll feel like family, and almost want to go to the dentist more often. :) Im glad I found Dr. Angell and his wonderful staff, to care for all my dental needs!
This place exceeded my expectations! I was searching for a New Dentist since my last one who i was going to since i was 7 years old; went under new management. Needless to say it turned bad. And the reprecussions I was left with were super sensitive teeth and a bad filling. With a couple more that still needed to be filled. So I found advanced dentistry online, and the reviews were pretty good , the place looked really nice, so i thought what do I have to loose? So glad I called them! The day I called, the receptionist alone was super helpful, from the moment she answered all she wanted to do was help me and I was forever greatful, she seemed very understanding which made me comfortable explaining my situation , she helped me get my records from the old office, and she got me in to see the doctor in a pretty timely manner. The day of my appointment from the moment i walked in, I was greeted very nicely. And when I was taken back I had one of the most sweetest dental assistants i have ever met. Outstanding patient one on one interaction/care she made me feel great, even when she knew i was nervous. Super understanding, and friendly always smiling it was a good experience to have. Then I met Dr Gaggi and he was amazing! he explained everything, he was very thorough and considerate which i appreciated because this was my first time having cavity’s so I was super worried but i deffinatley shouldnt have been. Dr Gaggi should seriously be called the painless Dentist because from the shot, to the drilling and placing the fillings I felt nothing! And because I had told him i had sensitive teeth he really listened, always checked on me during the work, and then put de-sensitizing gel, which made my mouth feel good. I felt so very happy when I left and my cavities were fixed. I can not thank Dr Gaggi and his staff enough! You fixed my teeth! I will deffinatley be returning for my six month appointment! If you’re looking for a Good Dentist check them out!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Angells for at least 20 years. Dr Angell has been a wonderful dentist and able to solve all our dental issues - and I have had many of those. The staff is also wonderful - they put any anxiety to rest. They are also flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments. If you need to be referred to a specialist, Dr Angell knows exactly who to send you to. Those specialists are also excellent. I can highly recommend this dental practice.

I have gone to Dr Gagi for the nearly two years since he took over the practice of my former dentist. He is a conscientious dentist who strives to ensure a pain-free experience, making certain that you are comfortable during each procedure. He goes out of his way to thoroughly explain what needs to be done in order to be certain that youre a part of the decision making. His assistants are extremely knowledgeable and personable. His prices are very transparent and his office assistants have experience working with insurance companies, knowing what is covered, and what information is needed in order to support an intended procedure. I will continue to see Dr Gagi and would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality dentist.
I went in the other day. Just showed up actually cause i was in a lot of pain without an appt. They were so understanding and took me in and took care of my painful tooth with amazing bedside manner. Dr. Gagi, Stephanie and Darlene are amazing! So is Dr Masarani!!! My whole family goes here! Thank you for all that u do to make us feel so comfortable there.
I was very nervous to go to the dentist and I had been putting off my treatment for a long time. Dr. Gagi took my fear away and helped me to put my mind at ease. I am so happy with the treatment and I will definitely recommend him and his friendly staff to my family and friends.

Dr. Gagi, Darlene, and all the wonderful hygienists are the reason why I’m at Advanced Dentistry of Troy. Dr. Gagi is AMAZING! I appreciate so much how he shows me via my xrays why he recommends a certain treatment, instead of just having me take his word. Dr. Gagi is so gentle when he gives you the numbing shot before cavities because he himself knows how uncomfortable that can be. If you ever get a cavity filled tell Dr. Gagi you want the MASSAGE CHAIR, I almost fell asleep on time. All the hygienists are friendly, I feel like I’m hanging out with girlfriends & very attentive. Darlene up front is so welcoming & will do everything in her power to make your next dentist appointment work with your schedule. If you’re looking for a new dentist - go see Dr. Gagi!!!
Dr. Gagi was an amazing doctor and was very helpful. Has a good and clean work place. He works very well and they have a state of the art practice. The staff is very well too. Does his job perfectly and is very nice and settle.

I too was an ex-patient of Dr. Angell after more than 30 years and was unsettled at the prospect of someone new. When I found out Darlene was still manning the ship at the front desk - even part time - I knew something good had to be happening here. The good vibes at the front desk extend to Kristy who is upbeat and enthusiastic.I have had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gagi and Dr. Maassarani. They convinced me to wake up and smell the coffee; in other words, to do some significant restorative work before I ran into real trouble. I bit the bullet and replaced some crowns that I spent countless hours in the chair getting done at UM Ann Arbor Dental School back when I was a recent graduate, many moons ago.I cant believe how EASY, FAST AND PAINLESS this process was ...I was worried and hesitated but then put my trust into the staff here at Advanced Dentistry of Troy (I told Dr. Maassarani he was an Oral Engineer) and they came through with flying colors. Dental assistant, Stephanie, is THE BEST; her mannerisms, attitude, speech and the way she puts her hand on your shoulder is beyond amazing and comforting.Also, Dental Hygienist, Christa did a fabulous job.Needless to say, I highly recommend this office.

Advanced Dentistry has most of the latest technologies, dental services that any patient may need. And the staff is professional, caring and courteous. Highly recommended at 4.5 ⭐️, only because perfection is not possible. 😉
I switched dentists due to the good reviews of this place, although those were mostly for Dr Angell who is now retired. I saw Dr Massarani, who insisted my 3 current fillings had decay around them and needed replacing. The process was not pleasant and they left a large piece of my one old silver filling in my mouth afterwards - no they dont let you rinse. I only found it because I went to the bathroom afterwards and rinsed my mouth out. The fillings he put in are awfully sharp. Food always gets caught in a pocket underneath them and theyre really hard to floss. On top of that two of the fillings still hurt and are temperature sensitive 5 weeks later. I went back to my previous dentist and may need a root canal now. Based on this experience I wouldnt recommend going here to anyone, at least not for getting work done by Massarani.
If youre looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend Advanced Dentistry. Very professional and kind. They are willing to thoroughly answer any questions you may have, better than most dentists.
I lost my front teeth in an accident. I was referred to Dr. Angell. I loved the office, everyone was so nice and accommodating. Dr. Angell is very professional. I have been complimented on several occasions for having a beautiful smile. I am so grateful. I switched to the office for my regular visits and could not be happier!

My experience at advanced dentistry was a very good one.Dr Maassarani and his staff were very gracious and caring.I had a tooth extracted and felt no pain during or after the procedure.I give the over all experience two big thumbs up.😊

2020-02-20Absolutely like the experience from checking in, getting professional care for my teeth by a dental hygienist, followed by doctor check and check out. I am always told upfront of any charges for any additional procedures, so no surprises at the end.Very nice, courteous staff. Very clean office environment that makes you feel comfortable. The doctors are thorough with their assessment, give correct recommendations and do good procedures.Would recommend the practice for great dental care for the whole family.

2019-06-16Advanced dentistry has always been very professional. I have never had any unexpected charges, I always know up front exactly what my insurance will pay and what my responsibilities are. The crowns Dr. Gagi did were the best fitting/feeling crowns Ive ever had done. He took his time making sure I was happy with his work. I would definitely recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist.

2019-04-04Dr. Angell was my dentist for 20 years and I was a little nervous when he retired. However, I have been seeing Dr.Gagi since then and am extremely happy with the care he provides. He is patient, thoroughly explains everything he needs to do and is gentle when doing treatments. I enjoy his professionalism and happy disposition! Darlene at the front desk is excellent and is always friendly and efficient. Stephanie, the dental assistant, is so friendly and kind, which actually makes the time in the chair a nice experience. I highly recommend this practice for your dental care!

2019-10-15Advanced Dentistry makes a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience. I have been going there for a long time. You never have to wait- you are seen promptly. The receptionist and technician staff greets you so warmly. Their manner is very professional. The office decor and dental area is so relaxing, clean, and well- organized. The hygienists are well trained and thorough. They give you useful tips on dental hygiene. Dr. Gagi takes his time with you and is so gentle. I feel that I am in good hands with such a knowledgeable dentist. I would highly recommend this dentist.

He does excellent work, is very gentle, and continues to keep up with advancements in dentistry. His hygienists are always very good, too. And, his staff is very efficient and friendly.

They did great with EVERYTHING from the appointment setting, cleaning, xrays, drilling, filling, caps, crowns and billing. I like my smile now : ) We highly recommend Advanced Denistry. 2015-12-28Dr. Angell has been our dentist for many years and he is the best! My children went to him and now my grandchildren love him and his office! He takes the time to understand any problems and is always available. Dr. Angells office has an excellent staff that is competent, helpful, and friendly. He has it all in his up-to-date office; why go anywhere else?
