Comment: We purchased a stackable washer/dryer from Airport Home Appliance and about three weeks later a dishwasher. I walked into the store for the first purchase and met Mark Dubin who was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the products they carried and the advantages and disadvantages of the few I was considering. Mark was easy to work with and took care of everything. For the dishwasher purchase, I contacted Mark and did everything via email. Once again, Mark was able to provide specific details, prices, and answer all questions. The delivery and installation teams for both appliances were thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. We were completely satisfied working with Mark and the installation teams and we will return to them in the future.

Comment: Changing my 5 star rating to 1 star. While I am happy with the product (Bausch Dishwasher) I bought through the shop, I am extremely dissatisfied with the extended warranty coverage Airport Home Appliances sold me. The extended warranty coverage is through a third party called Epic Protect. Both airport appliances and epic protect made me go in circles for hours together for a claim and epic protect conveniently told me they need some flimsy verification details and cut my call mid way through the call. Never got a call back. Could not use my warranty because I refused to waste anymore time behind EPIC PROTECT. I WOULD AVOID EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH EPIC FOREVER. May be better to buy extended warranty through Bausch

Comment: Bought a Bosch dishwasher 4 months ago and it’s already having issues. Called in to schedule service as it is under warranty and they told me they had created a ticket and they would call me back to schedule service. I got this reply for two days. Then I called in again today and they told me I was supposed to contact the manufacturer directly to schedule service. Why they didn’t tell me earlier? It’s already two days my brand new dishwasher isn’t working and we have to resort to wash dishes like the old days.And still we’re waiting to even just schedule service. Horrible

Comment: Horrible experience with Airport Home Appliance a tenant for one of our work locations had a horrible experience, while delivering the worker from Airport Home Appliance made a mess and left dirt marks all around the entrance. While being asked nicely to clean up the worker decided to yell and complain to our tenant that he didnt work for him therefor he did not have to clean up after himself even though he didnt try to maintain a clean area and clean his shoes on rug before entering. He then became aggressive with our tenant and wanted to get into a physical altercation with them. This was very unprofessional and while trying to reach out to Airport Home Appliance we received no answer and no call back even after they asked for feedback in the review.UPDATE: ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE I EMAILED REGARDING THIS ISSUE AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED ANSWER

Comment: We needed a Refrigerator ASAP and though we might have purchased it from a Big Box store the finish we wanted was not in stock. It was a good thing because Airport came in with a cheaper price and we got it the next day. Though it was not the full experience because we did not come in not knowing what we wanted, Lilian was a pleasure to work with and the sale went smoothly. Delivery was good with care taken removing the old refrigerator and placing the new one. One small nit is that I forgot about the leveling feet adjustment and it would be nice if that was a standard part of the installation process. I did it myself and when I mentioned it I was offered compensation which I did not expect. We would defiantly return to Airport Home Appliance in the future if we needed any more appliances.

Comment: DO NOT RECOMMEND! YOU CAN BE SCAMMED!We wanted to order thermador appliances from them. We visited the store and the store employee told us we could get a 7% additional discount if our contractor signed up with them. That was a great deal so we requested our contractor sign up with them. After weeks of back and forth our contractor signed up and paid for appliances, we were told it’s done we had placed the order. Due to all the back and forth we were already behind schedule to get the appliances but our contractor said we can manage. The day after they took the money and confirmed the order they called us and said they cannot honor the discount and we need to buy additional appliances from them to do that. We had to buy a Miele dishwasher so asked if we could order that but they said no, only Bosch. Later the lady went back on that and said buy a thermador refrigerator. We asked her why is what she is saying inconsistent can she send us a pdf or pamphlet or website link stating all these terms? She rudely yelled at us and told us she’s cancelling the order and there’s no conversation to be had. We asked for a manager to call us but he was also not helpful as they actually misled us and didn’t have such a discount. Now we have ordered from another place since we cannot give our business to such dishonest rude people. STAY AWAY!

Comment: I ordered a sub-zero fridge and Monogram stove in Dec of 2022 due to the long lead time and supply chain issues. I got a call from a new salesperson that replaced the original sales that had left the company around the end of September saying the fridge is ready for delivery. After a couple of trips and calls to the store I finally got the fridge, stove, dishwasher, and hood scheduled for delivery and installation on Dec 1st of 2023. On Dec 1st, only the dishwasher and hood were delivered and the hood couldnt be installed because of a placement of the plug, which the store did not confirm with me prior to shipment. As for the fridge and stove that didnt show up, there were no reasons given and no future delivery date. All I got from the delivery team was talk to sales, we dont know The salesperson said that he would give me an update on Dec 4, but still hasnt gotten back to me. Ive called the salesperson at least 3 times and left voice messages with no response. Very disappointed at the level of service after paying for the professional installation delivery and installation.

Comment: There are many parts to my review that explain the rating I gave them. I came in looking to switch out my has cooktop with an induction one.Knowledge 5/5 - This is not your typical appliance store. You wont find your teens like you would at Best Buy. You find people who have worked here for a while and have an extensive knowledge of the appliances and brands that are being sold. The salesperson I worked with gave me so much info about picking out the best induction cooktop and what I needed for my home. Very patient and tried to make sure I knew what the differences between the brands were. When we were all done, I had to wait a month for it to come and installation. I was fine with the wait. Everything up to this point was great.Installation 3/5 - so I paid for the installation to be done by them. It was going to cost me 400 dollars, but I didnt mind because I wanted to make sure it was working properly. The day comes and the installers tell me that they are unable to do it. They told me it was because the hold in my existing quartz was 1/4 inch too small. I was so disappointed, but I understood. They told me that my salesperson will contact me me with the info to a third party vendor who could do it. The main problem that I have with their installers was that they were not completely open with me about what needed to be done. Sure the hole was too small, but I found out later that electrical work needed to be done and the gas had to be capped before it could be installed. I didnt realize how much more work was necessary for it to be used. I didnt find out until I talked to the third party vendor (more on him later) and my salesperson about it.Their recommended third party installer 0/5 - (Proappliance) he was referred to me because he used to be their in-house installer. I had texted back and forth with my salesperson and talked to the proappliance guy twice on the phone. I thought we were on the same page of what needed to be done, extra electrical work and cutting the slab. I was told that proappliance did everything because they were a general contractor. Installation day comes and his guys say they cant do it. They said that I had to get electrical work done by another person first and then proceeded to charge me a $75 on site assessment fee. I was so annoyed. I thought we were all on the same page. The boss guy then tells my husband that it was my fault for the mistake and that he had previously told me about getting that done before they came.Overall this was a miserable experience. My cooktop is finally installed properly and I would go back here to buy my more appliances, but I would skip their installers all together.

Comment: My sister is disabled, to where she has a very difficult time even getting up to try to walk even a short distance, amongst other issues. I recently visited the Airport Appliance in San Jose (Sept 2022) to surprise her and her husband with a new washer and dryer, because they did not have one. Explained the situation to the salesman. I purchased, what I was led to believe, was a great set. Paid over $2000 for the set. They gave my sister the run around when the were supposed to deliver and install the appliances. We were offered an extended warranty at no charge for one of the units being damaged. Then the dryer was taking quite along time to dry. When she called to get their help with the issue, she was told they could not help and that she would have to call LG. This is very concerning because that was one of my questions when I was purchasing the units. Our experience thus far is not very good. Also, the tech that LG had assigned to us kept saying that he was LG and he would have to charge $300 regardless of the warranty if he has to work on these because he would have to unstack the units that we purchased as a STACKABLE system. We have also since learned, from someone we asked to assist us in this situation, that the installers may have pushed the units too far back and the units were rubbing on the electrical that caused one of the power supply to not function correctly.Update: The dryer is not working again and after I was informed that there is a 3 year extended warranty the last time, they now do not know anything about it. If I was you, I would definitely stay away from this place.

Also they left the plastic on the hood and fridge when they set it in the cabinet cavities so now it cant be removed. When I tried to reach out to have a better installer come back out and fix it, the folks here stopped responding. Not very impressed with the service.

Comment: Absolutely ineffective and a waste of $90. The technician spent 5 minutes at my home, did not even move the washer away from the wall, and pronounced nearly $900 in allegedly needed repairs. I decided just to buy a new washing machine instead. When the installers came with the new machine they discovered that there was no cold water coming from the relevant pipe. The problem was not in my washing machine at all but a water supply issue. One quick look would have accurately identified the problem. Super irresponsible and unprofessional.

Comment: I had an acceptable and decent in-store experience when buying my new washer and dryer. If I was reviewing just that, I probably would have given 3.5/4 stars. But unfortunately, I have to include the delivery experience with the logistics company that AA hired and therefore overall it left me frustrated, annoyed and angry and I will never shop again there.Typically, I would go to Costco to buy new appliances because their service, extended warranty etc is unmatched. However, I needed new washer/dryer urgently and so I went to Airport Appliance. While the shopping experience was fine, the delivery people were not. They came into my house twice, as one of the appliances was backordered, so they had to return. Both technicians were not only rude, left a filthy mess which they never cleaned up, but I just had my shoulder surgery, so was wearing a sling and I asked them to help me put back a small (3 feet tall) storage cabinet back in the laundry room, as they had removed it to install the appliance. This rude jerk tells me that that is not his job and just left, even though I told him I can’t do it with my one hand. I complained to his supervisor as well as to the folks at AA, but no one got back to me. Don’t make the mistake I made and instead go to Costco.

Comment: Placed a large order of appliances in June 2022 for my new house. When the appliances finally arrived in April of 2023 one appliance was missing. I was told that I could either wait an unspecified amount of time for the last appliance to arrive (was simply told it would take months) with all the appliances simply sitting in their boxes in my house or I may have to pay an extra installation fee for the separate appliance. Apart from this being downright predatory, I agreed on a $600 (!!) ADDITIONAL (in addition to the prepaid $739 installation charge) charge once the final appliance arrived. Well today (May 2nd) the final appliance suddenly arrived and I was charged $1139 in fees to watch 2 men perform ~80 minutes of work. When Airport Appliances was contacted about this their staff were defensive and dismissive to this abusive tactic.Do not trust this business to act in good faith. There is no proof that the extra appliance wasnt just sitting in a warehouse somewhere and this was all a shakedown. They would not honor their purchase agreement to deliver and install the appliances at an agreed upon price. Their employees do not care about the brand reputation.

I was greeted as I entered the store and Linda gave me a big smile and asked if she could help me.We went over to see some of the Bosch appliances and I was able to pick the one I wanted with ease. She was super helpful and answered all my questions.At the checkout counter it was an congenial conversation as she worked to get my order in, provide additional warranty information and installation information and cost. Come to find out my employer buys all our appliances from this location as well - nice surprise because they do a lot of vetting. So I felt very comfortable purchasing from here.Linda also mentioned that this is a family run business - which I love to hear. I think trying to help family run/owned/small businesses is the way to go. I was extremely pleased with how nice, efficient, knowledgable and easy my purchase was today. Comment: We bought a dishwasher through Airport Home Appliance after having bought the same one from Home Depot a few weeks ago that just never got delivered (after 4 failed attempts on their end we canceled with Home Depot). I wish we had found Airport Home Appliance sooner! The shopping experience was quick and painless, the sales representative we worked with (Chris) was friendly and very knowledgeable, and the prices were great. As I was leaving the store I got a call to schedule delivery and they had availability that same week. One the day of delivery I got text message updates that included a tracking option to see how close the delivery team was, and I got a text 20 minutes before they were set to deliver that they’d be there in 20 minutes. They were exactly on time. They delivered and installed the dishwasher quickly and efficiently and even fixed a small problem we had with our garbage disposal (which was very newly installed and hadn’t been used enough to see the problem). I cannot recommend this company enough. I was blown away by every part of the experience.

Comment: I was able to look at the Compact washing machines that I wanted to see at Airport Home Appliances in San Jose. Because of the detailed size info on their website, I knew that I also wanted to look at a 26 inch deep machine by Maytag. (I only have space for 26 inches deep, and few are made in that size anymore.) Seeing the compacts made me realize that I didnt want them because of the small load size. Also, I would soon hate having to bend down so much to load/unload the machine. The Maytag was not there to see, but the specs were right so I ordered one!! The sales rep, Lilian, was very helpful with all my questions and put the order in. Looking forward to getting my new Washing Machine!

Comment: TL;DR Pre-sales experience was decent, prices were competitive but post sales support and installation experience was horrible.Before the purchase, AHA Sales Person was slow but helpful in getting the quote for items I wanted, offered bundling options to save money on multiple appliances.They send third party contractors for appliance installation (which you pay for) and those installation guys are looking to make quick money on all tiny steps they need to take care of for installation (eg. drilling holes for running appliance cord to electric receptacle etc). It was stressful experience.They forgot a part for the refrigerator and parts needed to connect waterline to the fridge. I was already unhappy about the support and tired of follow-ups, so ended up getting my construction contractor to connect the fridge for me.The missing part from fridge hasn’t still been fixed after 2 months of purchase and several follow ups. LG shipped the part but arrived damaged, still awaiting a replacement.I am not sure if this is typical Bay Area customer experience but it’s pretty bad service tbh

Comment: After extensive research on all kinds of dishwashers, we settled on a Beko from Airport Appliance. Unfortunately, the experience with the product has been FAR from satisfactory. First, the installers came and discovered that the product was defective due to a leak, so they needed to return the product. The next delivery date was scheduled for 4 days later! That was annoying enough. Then, I got an email at 6:27am, the DAY OF delivery, that the delivery was cancelled due to damage on the dishwasher. Even though we were told the night before that they were delivering the product. (Why have BOTH dishwashers been defective and damaged?) When I called to inquire about the product, I was told they would look into a next day delivery, but couldnt assure me that it would be the next day or even if I could get the same product and that I might have to consider a different model. So this upcoming installation will be the third attempt of getting this dishwasher and Im already anticipating there being a problem with how this has gone. Needless to say, this has been a very frustrating experience after taking two days off work. Buying my car was an easier more painless experience than this. I do not recommend Airport Home Appliance and will never use them again in the future.

Comment: We visited the store on South Bascom looking for a new washer and dryer. Christ, our salesperson, was very helpful in showing us possible choices given our preference for brand and washer capacity. We completed the transaction and scheduled the delivery/installation.When the delivery/installation people arrived they seemed to be in a hurry. The new units we ordered were two inches wider and the door to the laundry room had to be removed by us. I had taken the day off and this isnt a big deal for me but had my wife been alone it would have been. They installed the washer and dryer and as we were signing the close out we noticed that when they squeezed the washer/dryer through the door it had scraped paint onto them. They didnt mention it even though it was in multiple locations. Fortunately I was able to buff off the paint.Once they left we noticed they hadnt installed the steam function on the dryer which requires a y connection and cold water hose to the dryer. This was a new feature for us so we didnt realize it until after they left. I immediately called the store and explained the situation. I was told that the completion of the installation would have to be scheduled for later date. I wasnt happy about taking a day off and ending up with an incomplete installation.Five days later different installation people arrived and completed the installation.Overall, our experience in store was very good. Its the delivery/installation issue which lead to just a 3-star review.

When we tried to install it, the water inlet leaks and ran onto the floor(We used the fitting purchased from AA and other new fittings we bought. But none of them works with the machine. So it makes us believe the machine inlet port is the issue.)We contacted Airport appliance, they refused to do anything to help solve the issue but notifying the manufacture. They refuse to replace/return it as their website advertises. We hope the manufacture can fix it in a timely manner. If not, we have to seek legal actions to protect our interest. It is ridiculous we still have to hand wash dishes even after we had the new dishwaher installed. Keep away from Airport appliance.

He questions what we need as though were bothering him and then answers our question while in nasty tone as he walks away. He then transfers us to Moes partner, who was a nice guy. Well, we couldnt find what was needed and decided to just get a refund.In short 10/10 wouldnt recommend.Customer service lacks, like a lot. Moery is more focused on Google reviews instead of customers present in the store, and A.T. is like a used car salesman (pushy and rude). Would definitely recommend the Hayward location, its worth the drive. Staff at the location are attentive and helpful.

Comment: We purchased a dishwasher from Airport appliance which was delivered the next day and installed 2 days after that. Everything was perfect with one exception. The installation company, although friendly and efficient, practices pressure add-on sales. They told me I “needed” a new air gap or they couldn’t install because my new dishwasher had higher pressure. This air gap that would cost about $25-$50 at Home Depot cost me $140 on the spot so they could complete the installation. In the future, I will make sure I ask about the extras and look into it myself to avoid this type of add-on.

Comment: Our sales person was knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and efficient. We were given information on all the the products (clothes washing machines) we were interested in. After reviewing the information given us and the product reviews on-line, we phoned our order in and were scheduled for deliver the next day. We were easily able to track the delivery window. The delivery crew was quick, and careful. They moved the old appliance out and put in and hooked up the new appliance in thirty minutes. One error: the hot/cold hoses were reversed. My husband fixed the problem after the second load. We are very pleased with the product.

Comment: I did some research on washers and dryers online before going to Airport Appliances. The sales person was low key, answering our questions, but was not pushy. We were able to get delivery on a day we chose. We were notified that the window was from 7:30 - 11:30 am. I received a text at 7:00am that the installers would arrive within 15 minutes. They hauled away our existing washer and dryer (which you must arrange for at the time of purchase for a small fee), hooked up our LG Wash Tower, and made sure it worked. Very happy with our experience.

Comment: Installers were courteous, helpful, and efficient.Sales person was able to find washer and dryer that we wanted in stock and delivered it in two days - couldnt ask for more than that with all the shortages due to the pandemic. I feel that we were able to get a great price on the duo, too. Daughter was surprised at how good a deal we got as she had purchased the same duo last year.

Comment: Very helpful and considerate staff, good selection, and good prices. We needed a new dishwasher and had looked at the big box stores with no luck (either months away from being in stock or 6-8 weeks waiting for install). We came to Airport as a last resort, and were immediately impressed. They had a model with all the features we wanted, it was in stock, way cheaper than the big stores, and could install in 7-10 days. A win-win-win-win! And a very helpful sales associate was another win. Felt like our concerns were heard and didn’t feel like we were being “sold” something we didn’t want. Will return and will recommend others to check here first.

The delivery process went as anticipated. We installed ourselves, so cannot speak to that aspect of the services offered.Overall, happy with the experience and would go back for other appliances.

Our only issue was not an Airport issue, but the overall slowness of chip and product availability, we ordered a washer and dryer, and the dryer arrived 8/23 and the dryer does not arrive till mid September.

Comment: I was sent to Airport Home Appliance by a Lowes employee who told me Airport has better selection and better prices. This turned out to be true. Airport Appliance had the refrigerator model I wanted in stock at a lower price than Lowes or Home Depot, (both of which were sold out anyway). The unit was delivered to my home 3 days later--very fast. Unfortunately the unit arrived damaged from the factory, and this wasnt clear until after the delivery crew unwrapped it. I had to send the unit back to the store, but my sales representative Janelle was able to procure another one and have it delivered within 48 hours. Now THAT is excellent customer service. No-one from the big-box retailers could have done that. I will definitely be coming to Airport once I want to upgrade the rest of my appliances. Dont waste your time looking on Amazon or going to Lowes or Home Depot. Airport Home Appliance has FAR SUPERIOR customer service and competitive prices. When you get there, ask for Janelle.

Comment: Great customer service & great delivery & installation! We purchased a dishwasher and microwave to replace ours that both broke down recently. Went to Best Buy at Santana Row and had a great experience with their salesperson (Kim) - but their delivery and install kept cancelling appointments - so we returned everything and got a refund. We had never been to Airport Home Appliance - so we went there last week and on Monday everything was installed! Such great service at Airport and their delivery and install crew is very efficient, clean, and courteous! We highly recommend Airport and will shop there for any future appliance needs!

Comment: There is nothing quite like having your fridge go out that makes you run to the nearest appliance store and start looking a replacement. After a disappointing experience at Home Depot and feeling quite frustrated with both their service and inventory, a friend suggested Airport Appliance which wasn’t too far. I got to the Airport Appliance store on 966 S Bascom Ave about 20 minutes before they closed. Now to be fair, I had the measurements of what I needed and a idea of what I was looking for. That being said, I walked into their store (mask on) and found myself heading directly to the showroom area that had the fridges. Behind the desk with a smile on his face and a look of total willingness to help, a customer service rep by the name of Nathan Austin greeted me and asked how he could help. Most reps know they have two ears, one mouth and ask the right questions to point their customers in the best direction, and Nathan is that kind of rep. I told him what I was looking for and the first unit he pointed out to me ended up being the one I purchased. I was out of the store five minutes before they closed with a smile on my face and within two days had the perfect fridge in my kitchen. After a long day working with any number of customers who may or may not buy anything, Nathan still came through. He was professional, personal, enjoyable and even made sure to ask if there was any other appliances that I wanted to look at while he was doing the paperwork. As it turns out, there are some more appliances I will needing in the near future and Nathan at Airport Appliance has earned my go to business. I strongly recommend this store!

Comment: The overall experience was excellent! It started with a breakdown of our 19 year old, built-in Viking refrigerator that was too expensive to repair. We started with researching online and determined an appliance specialty store like Airport Home Appliance would have competitive prices, deeper knowledge of appliances, and quality delivery/installation services. Linda Trang was our Customer Service Representative, who guided us through our decision. We had a built-in, so finding another refrigerator had to fit the depth and width of our cabinet. We wanted a good value for the money refrigerator. The pandemic is also causing longer lead times in the supply chain supply. However, Linda printed out our top 4 choices and wrote down the lead times and prices. After two visits with Linda, we decided on a counter depth Bosch refrigerator. It was in-stock and delivered / installed in two days. The large and heavy built-in refrigerator was removed without scratching any doorways or floors.We saved a lot of money transitioning from a built-in to a quality, counter depth refrigerator and without losing storage space. I just had to do some cabinet modifications to accommodate the Bosch refrigerators 72 inch height. We are very satisfied customers and highly recommend Airport Home Appliance (San Jose).Thanks, Linda!

Comment: The freezer in our garage died after 20 years and we needed to replace it. I looked at the website and saw that Airport had the one I wanted. I called and spoke to the excellent Manager Rickey and he had it in stock. I received it in a week and am very happy with it. Its bigger and better than the old one :-) All ready to fill! Service was great, delivery men were wonderful. All in all, an excellent experience.

Comment: We knew what we wanted. The visit was quick, the payment process was quick, the sales associate was sincere and gave us a delivery date which actually was sooner then expected. The delivery and setup team were professional and quick, and in 15 min we had our new fridge up and running, and old one gone! No issues! Comment: I was contacted by a representative of this firm after a website inquiry. He provided the name of an associate at the San Jose location who I attempt to contact but he never replied. I then contacted the original rep. with some questions about the Wolf range I was interested in but he blew me off. I ended up buying the unit from University Electric and while the experience was less than stellar I ended up having a brand new Wolf GR304 delivered within 2 days. I never envisioned paying $5k for a range but I absolutely love it!

Comment: Just a great place to go if youre looking for a great deal on a home appliance. I was looking to buy a new refrigerator and I went to many different places which included Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot and then I came to Airport Home Appliance and they had a great inventory of refrigerators which offered a better selection from all the other stores I visited. A sales representative named Melissa came to help me while I was looking at all the different refrigerators and she was so very helpful! She made my buying experience very pleasant. Make sure to ask for her when you go this San Jose store. They also have a large selection of washer and dryers, ovens and even mattresses! The prices at this store are very competitive and I highly recommend Airport Home Appliance! The building to this store may look a little small when you first see it but you will be astonished when you see the amount of inventory Airport has as soon as you walk through the front door. If youre looking for a home appliance, dont forget to stop by this store and look to see what they have before you make any decisions!! You wont be disappointed!!

Comment: Wifey and I were leaving Streetlight when I saw that Airport Appliance sold mattresses.We walked in and was immediately greeted by a sales rep (Eddie)We spent about 1/2 of his time discussing our concerns and what types of mattresses would be best for us. Eddie was more than willing to listen to our concerns and not only explain everything to us but also spent the time with us as we got comfortable laying on at least 5 different mattresses. Eddie is a 5 star employee and is NOT a high pressure salesman!So why not 5 stars...well I took 2 stars off because the pillows we used to test the beds were gross (white pillows with dirt from other people lying on them...shower time for me)Hopefully Airport Appliance reads this....just put clean pillow cases on the pillows and when the customers are done, put them in a hamper and wash them. Trust me customers will have a better perception of your business.Otherwise the service and business is aces in my book.
