Comment: Good location, clean area, secure entry gate. Stored stuff here between moving to new apartment, was able to hop right on freeway & head to San Jose easily. Unit was small by choice, but held more than we anticipated because its quite tall. Tip - Bring a step ladder!

Comment: The office staff is helpful and considerate. The prices are manageable and they have fair pricing policies. Honestly the only downside are the gate hours wish they opened a little earlier and stayed open later

Comment: I always spend more time than I intend to at the storage but Im not bothered and Im able to get what I need to do done. My stored items are safe and I need not worry about shady characters gaining access because thankfully is theres a security gate with access code to get in and security cameras just in case somebody does make it through. Its a sense of security I appreciate it.

Additionally it is very reasonably priced as compared to competitors in the area, it was an easy choice for us. Highly recommend, it’s been a great experience all around.

Comment: This review is long overdue. I *almost* didn’t give this place a shot because of that nasty negative review, but I’m SO glad I did! Ive been renting since March 2021. I believe I worked with a gentleman named John and he was so incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, as this was my first time renting a storage unit, and he was very patient in answering all of them. He went above and beyond in the customer service department. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable; quite the opposite in fact. I almost felt like I made a new friend. And, he wore a mask the entire time. I highly recommend this place. From my own research, they have the best rates in town as well. I won’t ever rent anywhere else!!

Comment: I would give this place negative points. The staff here does not adhere to covid guidelines. The customer service is atrocious and I felt extremely unsafe while trying to rent a storage space . When I had spoken to them on the phone, the staff was courteous, but when I got there in person it was the opposite experience.I had gone to the rental office to secure my lease around 4:30 pm on Feb 22nd, 2021. First of all, the man ( I do not remember his name ) there was out of office, and I was waiting for about 10 minutes, while there was no one in sight.Finally, the man came. He was not wearing a mask. He showed me the units outside but when we went inside the leasing office, he was STILL not wearing a mask. I politely asked him to wear one, and while he complied, I could tell he was disgruntled. However, I was happy that he wore one, and I told him I appreciated it, especially as I needed to fly in the next few days. He became increasingly hostile about wearing the mask. He alluded to the fact that I was a hypochondriac for wearing one, among other things : He verbally attacked me. Given there was nobody except myself and this person, I felt extremely unsafe and left.I did not sign the lease, and rented a storage unit elsewhere. There is an abundance of storage spaces in this area, so you would be better off in a safer place.

Comment: Right off the bat, this company stood out to me because they answer their own phones. No maze of Customer Service call centers to negotiate. One call and I was talking to someone right there at the facility, got all the relevant information I needed, and the current unit availability.Staff (Jennifer) was awesome, from the first phone call through my eventual rental commitment. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the all the units. She was very accommodating, showing me all of the different units I was interested in.If these things werent enough, the prices are the best in the area.

Comment: I was looking for a place close to where I will be living and was told I should check Airport Storage, so it was my first and last stop. I was warmly greeted by Jennifer and through our conversation really felt that she took real ownership of her job and created a very sincere and welcome environment. We worked through the details and I didnt hesitate to sign the paperwork. I truly believe this place makes sure the customer feels valued and their business is appreciated just based on my interaction with Jennifer. If you are in need of storage for your world possessions, I definitely recommend giving Airport Storage the opportunity to have your business.

Comment: Most of us have had to face a time where you have to put your lifetime worth of belongings in STORAGE! If you are like me its because you can not take these things with you on your new adventure in life. Seven months ago I had to quickly get a storage and put my, my grown children and granddaughters stuff in storage. I hated going there and paying an arm and a leg for it...(I didnt have time to search around for the Best Prices at that time.) A few days ago I realized I just cant keep affording this crazy payment and I was talking to my Friend about it. She has had a STORAGE UNIT at Airport Self Storage in Livermore for 13 years, she took me to her unit to show me how, clean and nice the property was, its super close to my new place, and get this, same size unit, just shaped a tiny bit differently, was quoted to be HALF THE PRICE of my current storage! I spoke with Jennifer in the office and she was SO HELPFUL and just made my experience so much better than I have had in the past! Not only was my FIRST MONTHS RENT HALF OFF, my friend who referred me to them, got $20.00 off of her next months storage rent! Thumbs up Airport Self Storage, and especially to Jennifer for all of her time and help!

Comment: I dont like storage units. I dont think my stuff is safe. I moved back home from GA and had to put my whole life into tubs until I got back on my feet. Today my dad told me our unit was BROKEN INTO and 90% of my stuff was STOLEN. $1,000s of my stuff. Lady who owned this place has never had this happen before. Cool beans. I am completely devastated.Get security cameras (they have none) so people feel that their stuff is somewhat protected.

Not to mention for the size I got Im saving a lot of money I could have been spending elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes you feel at home. Its a safe convenient location and theres tons of space!

Comment: I highly recommend NO one rents from this place. To be upfront, Jake, the manager is very dishonest as a person and avoids dealing with issues that he is responsible for causing. For example, my space was blocked by them allowing for someone with a 30ft rig to park in a 20 ft space, where they hang out on both ends 5 ft, blocking the ability for others to park in their spaces. This and many other issues over the last year have led to this review. When I tried respectfully and diligently to resolve the issue, I never received a single call back. I left message after message to cancel my contract and they continued to charge me. I finally got ahold of the manager Jake today, likely because he answered the phone by mistake. Of course, he cut me off repeatedly and just blatantly lied and bullied his position the entire time, showing a complete unwillingness to make the situation right. I asked to be directed to the owner, and Jake claimed that he was now the owner, when he originally stated he was only the manager. I doubt that to be true but I dont really care to bother with these guys anymore to find out. The place is a dump anyways. Stay away!

Comment: Great facility. Every unit is clean and has drive up access. I have been a tenant here for many years. I recently needed to up grade to a larger unit mid month. They gave me a half months credit at the old rate and only charged me a half month at the new higher rate. The owner also had two of his employees help move my stuff into the new unit. I am a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend this company.

Comment: We came in to see if the size storage we needed was available. Dod was very busy and yet took time to respectfully acknowledge us. Dod multi-tasked several customers at the same time while we were waiting for our copies. He had taken us to the size and direction we wanted, was polite and informative while we walked. The storage was clean and secure. Am not sure why no one has written good reviews other than too busy to take the time. The place is well worth the reasonable price (and we did compare prices). We are moving out of another storage facility in Livermore which was smaller and more expensive. Thanks Dod!

Comment: Should have checked Yelp before we showed up here. We bought a new 29 travel trailer, and we had great interactions with Jake (Dublin) and Caroline (Livermore) by phone. Signed the contract on Sunday afternoon and brought the trailer in on Monday morning. The aisles between the parking spaces are exceedingly narrow, have nearly zero clearance when turning at the end of each aisle, several vehicles (trailers, boats) extend over their allotted space making it that much more difficult to safely navigate through the parking lot, and the 35 spots are actually quite a bit shorter since they are diagonally oriented but they measure from stripe to stripe. (Said another way: a 35 trailer parked in a 35 slot would extend at least 3-4 beyond the stripe.)Now Ill freely admit that we are new to trailers (though weve driven RVs for years), so we are not the most experienced when it comes to parking a trailer in tight spaces. But the layout of the lot, and the tight turning radius at the end of each aisle, made it harrowing (to say the least) to navigate in the lot, and we decided that we would not be able to reliably park here, navigate around the existing vehicles in the lot, and keep our vehicle and those in the lot safe.Given that this was less than 24 hours after signing the contract, I requested our money back (less the administrative fee), and the owner refused, blamed me for not knowing how to park, and made it very clear that Id be out Januarys pro-rated rent and all of February (nevermind that the total time we spent in the facility was less than one hour).Given this exceptionally short-sighted approach to customer service, I cant recommend this business at all.
