Rachel is a very good & outgoing respectful when it come to the road testing .. she makes sure she goes over every rule & instruction as told .. she also has good communication. I took my road test and came home with my license .. she’s also a very considerate person as well!! Get with Rachel and she’ll get you your license she also has a reasonable price ..

I was totally nervous for my road test but the instructor was so calm and nice my nervousness dissipated quickly! The test was timed out perfectly! It didn’t feel too long nor too quick!
Anyone looking to do a road test, this is the spot to do it. The woman I took the test with created a forgiving, professional environment. I failed, but it was in no part her fault, and even afterward she gave me the chance to prove that it was due to an honest mistake and not a lack of being ready.
Highly recommend AK for road tests! Rachel was very nice and explained things clearly throughout the test. Very reasonable price, too. Scheduling was also a breeze compared to other road testers in the area.
Who tells a teenager that they wasted your time because he failed his driver’s test?!! That was beyond unprofessional! My son came home feeling like a failure and waste of time because of your words! You don’t treat your customers like that!!

Never want to go here again. Paid $50 for a driving test, didnt get past the beginning with parallel parking, and then told me the test was over. Have to pay another $50 to take the test again. Not worth the time or money.

2022-05-31Rachel was AMAZING! she was very professional and does good at her job. she is nice and very soft spoken and that helps put your mind at ease and calm nerves! i would recommend her to ANYONE! she is the best you’re gonna get! also, she does a wonderful job explaining directions and how to do things, not one time did i feel she gave a direction to late!

2022-05-16I appreciate the feedback I received after my road test. I would also like to add there is a true skill in being direct AND kind, and not condescending and disrespectful. If you are going to work with the public, especially in the service of them completing a road test the best thing you can do is make sure you create a friendly environment from the beginning of your interaction to the end even if someone has failed the test. If you cant do that then maybe the best thing you can do is find something else to do, or better yet find a therapist to work out your issues that way. You dont do that with people who are coming to you for a service. I dont know what made her feel comfortable behaving that way with me, but what I do know is that her behavior was unacceptable and chaotic. I understand she has the responsibility of ensuring that people are safe drivers but giving feedback does not include disrespect and aggression. I kept my cool and thanked her for her time and feedback but I was appalled by her unprofessionalism. Thankful that I learned the lesson that just because someone has a high rating doesnt necessarily mean good and quality service. There may be validity in her reviews of her being professional and helpful however I was not one of those people.Update to your response: Rachel, you were the only one yelling. I asked for you to write down your feedback on a sheet of paper. But I “yelled” at you?! Please don’t do that. Stop lying and just say I had a bad day before I administer your test. Coming onto the expressway slow…Yes, I can admit that. Semi-trucks slamming their brakes….not so much. Poor character.3rd comment: First it was “slowly” merging and now it’s “abruptly” merging on the expressway. Got it. You have a business but instead of considering feedback you are making excuses for your unprofessionalism and adding misleading details to fit your narrative. This is coming from someone who says that they felt so unsafe and uncomfortable and yet during the ride were not sitting properly in their seat throughout the test and didnt take over the car or ended the test early. Which as an administer you are instructed to do when you feel it is unsafe. But that didnt happen. Okay, I got it. I do not thrive on giving negative reviews and like to give people the benefit of the doubt but horrible services.Yet, it saddens me that you have this job. People, please go somewhere else where you will be treated with respect rather or not you have passed or failed. Not having an administrator who makes the experience uncomfortable with their hostile attitude and unprofessionalism from the beginning to the end of your interaction. It can be nerve-wracking as it is to take the test. The last thing you need is to take it in that type of environment. Thank goodness other companies care.

2021-12-01Great experience here. The instructor Rachel was awesome. She gave directions very clearly and concise. Dont believe what some other reviewers have said. I believe they were just upset because they failed and needed to blame someone besides themselves. Highly recommend using AK drivers training and road test. Keep up the great job Rachel.

2021-09-09This is the second time I’ve used AK Services for my daughters to take their drivers tests. A year or so ago Rachael put my first daughter at ease and was very professional. So my second daughter wanted to drive with Rachael also. she/we drove over an hour from Midland to test with her. My daughter was prepared and had practiced a lot prior to the test, but teenage nerves can still be prevalent, but Rachael made her feel comfortable and at the end, she told her she had done an excellent job, and passed. Don’t blame the instructor, if you or your child don’t pass the test, she wants safe drivers on the road, and is fair in her scoring to determine whether she thinks you are ready or not.

2021-08-21She was really professional and gave off good vibes when I first met her. Her presence made me feel more comfortable and it definitely made the test less nerve-racking lol. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a good test and an amazing driving examiner.

2020-02-22I highly recommend, Rachel was very patient and made me feel extremely comfortable as I had just failed a drivers test with another company two days before. She was extremely kind and informative and again very patient. I also liked the fact that she engaged in conversation unrelated to the test, before the test and after the test, which really eased my nervousness.

2020-08-28Rachel is the best examiner I dare to say. I had my road test with her two times. I failed the first one, but I completely understand my mistake and she was so kind to explain it in the most just and polite way. Even though I failed the test, I was so glad that Ive chosen this school. She explained all the instructions, and the test went so smooth as she was calm and kind which helped me to be relaxed. The second time was in June after the state has opened up. Scheduling the test went easy, and the test itself was similar to the one before, except this time I am glad that Ive passed. I took her advice very seriously and worked out my weaknesses. Id definitely recommend her. DO NOT think twice to take your test here.
