I moved here from Detroit. I been here a year so far. The reviews about Albion housing commission are probably from spoiled individuals who aint been to any other government housing. Personally I think AHC is doing a great job. Actually AHC units are in good condition from what Ive seen. This is low income housing not the holiday inn. Staff has never given me any issues either. Like any place on earth, its what you make of it. With over 200+ units and only 6 bad reviews from years ago, I think that 1 star is ridiculous! So as a satisfied resident I give them 5 stars, and would recommend moving here.

Well, fromy experience these ar crooked people in the office. The have maintenance men who steals your things and cant fix anything. Most employers in there are crack heads and drug dealers I know for a fact. Stanetta buys crack every Friday when she gets paid, I work with her crack dealer and he said she is his best client smh... Ann Kemp stole thousands of dollatd from tenats and replaced it with fake money and got caught, she went jail and was relaese on a 15,000 dollar bond and cant come in contact with the law its court ordered of she does then her bobd is revoked and she goes back to jail. They let tresspasser tresspass and assault other people on property or in their homes. They con people out of money, they evict people over dumb reasons. They lie about what they said or didnt say. The apartments has furnaces from 1995 its no good. They have no AC but charge an extra 20 a month to put a AC in your window...what? Really? Wow. These apartments is horrible and the office people give that whole area a bad name.

My friend rented in apartment thru albion housing commition was harrasted. Housing committion held on to paper work that you had to 7 days to reply on until after your date to comply then when you get the oaper work in the mail finally you try to comply they say your to late and oass the 7 day time period. My friend paid there rent on time every month and never had any trouble st her door was a quiet clean tentant and kept to there self. They scam you out of money that is owed to you and harrass you with unnessary paper work. DO NOT RENT FROM THESES PEOPLE they are A RIP OFF. There idea of fixing a leak in the kitchen is to place a boared under the sink. If you make a complaint it doesnt do any good cause nothing is done. My friend reported them to BBB for investcation. They scam low income families out of there money and then evict them without cause. God help who ever takes a chance in renting from them.

I wouldnt recommend being here they dont get all the info correct when you show them paystubs of how much you get and they continue to say another thing on your lease and for they be wanting you to pay way too much to stay in a place

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here I had a friend who stayed there and he said they take forever to fix things and the people in the office are funny acting and harass people the person that usually come to check the apartments is annoying and nosey if you need a place to go for really cheap then be my guest but I would suggest you check out other apartment buildings around the area for a better peace of mind 👍🏻
