Welcoming atmosphere where everything is explained in detail. Myself, the husband and kids are all presently being treated here for back issues. The staff is amazing as well as Dr. Mitch and Ashton. We are looking forward to getting the entire family in the right lane mentally and physically for 2022. Feeling better and stronger already.The main reason that brought us to Dr. Mitch was the association with Hockey as my son is a current Hockey player and my husband a past Hockey player. My thought was a previous Hockey player has insight in the issues other Hockey players may have with their backs.
I first met Dr Mitch and Align family chiropractic at the Novi Golf Show this year. I went into his office with pain in my lower back, feeling unaligned and nervous about my future whether or not I would always have back pain. I am a professional golfer so my body is of utmost importance for my career. I have had this reoccurring issue over the past 10 years. Couple months it’s good then it gets bad again. Feeling skeptical because of past chiropractors never truly fixing the problem, more so felt like a bandaid. After receiving my X-rays and learning about Max living and their healing process, I decided to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did! The program is more about how well you listen to instruction concerning your home exercises, the more often you do these exercises the better the results. Dr Mitch and his team are great communicators, very patient with patients questions and truly care about your well being. Thank you to Dr Mitch and the entire staff for giving me the tools to better my quality of life. The left sided X-rays are from my start and the right is after the first third of my treatment process. As you can see proof is in the pudding with dramatic improvement, the green line is where I want my red line to match up. You can do it too!

Dr. Mitch gives much-needed attention to each patients individual needs from the beginning and frequently throughout the Chiropractic process to make sure that you are making progress in the right direction. He isnt just going through the motions but is effectively guiding the correction process at each visit!The home care kit has made such a difference for me. With the strain and stress that each day puts on my muscles and joints I know that I can release that stress myself everyday. Felt great after just one adjustment! I know it takes more than one visit to get completely better, but was able to feel a difference after my first alignment. Dr. Mitch is amazing! I have been dealing with headaches and migraines for 5 years and I have been to several different specialist and NONE of them were able to get to the root of the problem, let alone come up with a treatment plan. Dr Mitch explained 5 years with of stress, pain and depression to me within 2 mins and blew my mind! I slept like a baby after my first adjustment! The best Chiropractic team in Michigan!!! I am so lucky to have found this place. I was dealing with a lot of back/neck pain due to long working hours on a desk, constantly slouching and just everyday poor posture. Thankfully I am in better shape and pain free after being a part of this program. I have been coming here for 6 months plus and it has been an amazing experience, to say the least. Where do I even start? From professionalism to hospitality Dr. Mitchell and Align family chiropractic staff are just absolutely amazing. They literally make you feel like your a part of the family. I have had chronic upper back between shoulder blade pain and neck pain for the past 5 years. In the last 5 years I’ve been to 3 chiropractors, have received 7-8 trigger point injections, osteopathic doctors, PMR doctors, have tried every pain killer and muscle relaxant but everything was always short term relief, the pain always came back almost immediately. I saw Dr. Mitchell’s Ad on Instagram and I was impressed I was excited to try him out just seemed different that other chiros I have seen in the past and I’m so glad that I did because I was right. Dr. Mitchell doesn’t just adjust you and send you on your way. He gets to the root of the problem and then comes up with a treatment plan that includes warms up, getting adjusted, home exercise plan and X-rays every 4-5 weeks to make sure your progressing and heading in the right direction. I started with feelings a little stronger, within first 3 weeks my head stopped feeling soo heavy then 5 weeks in I noticed my upper back wasn’t hurting as much anymore pain level went from a 7/10 to about a 4-5/10 which a big improvement for me. I still have a long way to go and hope to just keep getting better! There is so much more to say but then I would be here forever. Thank you Align Family Chiropractic for treating us like a family!
Dr.Mitch has made this an easy transition for a former skeptic that was running out of options and now I’m on the road to recovery and couldn’t be happier. The staff there are very warm, welcoming, and professional and make you feel like family. You see a lot of the same patients when you go in for adjustments and we all are there rooting for everyone on their journey. Overall it’s been a very positive experience. :)
I love energy flow through the whole office. Staff is incredibly supportive and are committed to helping people live their best lives. They make you feel like family. Dr. Mitchell Carpenter DC is the absolute best at what he does!!They give you a giant bag of the best home care equipment specially made for your spine to continue your treatment when your not in the office.The system they have is amazing!! You never wait forever for your appointment like most places 😑with how they work/schedule. You do spine warm up exercises for about 10 mins before your adjustment and they get you on your way! Because of how they run things, if you are late that’s OK they are flexible with scheduling all the way up until they close! They are very kid friendly and have a bunch of things for the kiddos to play with and stay entertained 😁If you’re looking for chiropractic care in the Detroit metro area .... why go any where else!?

Everyone in this office is so kind and helpful. Dr. Mitchell helped me understand my X-rays and helped me feel immediate relief within my first week. I’m so happy to be apart of the align family. It’s the best decision that I’ve ever made for my life. I’ve been suffering from back pain/ neck pain for 15 years. I woke up ever morning in chronic pain with limited range of motion. My doctors gave me medication that only worked temporarily or not a all. But never found the root cause of my pain. Dr. Mitch was the only doctor that was able to tell me the root cause and give me a solution. I’m currently on my 9th adjustment including the at home exercises and Im pain free. Im also able to do things around the house and play with my kids without being in pain. My sinus issues have gotten better and both of my ears opened up. My ears had been filled with fluid for months due to me sinuses. I went to the doctor about it and they did nothing to help me because it wasn’t bad enough for them. Im very happy with my healing process so far. I look forward to healing completely. Im so thankful for Dr. Mitch and his team. I highly recommend them!!!

I love Dr. Mitch and his wife Ashton. I started going regularly about a month ago and immediately, they made me feel welcome. Not only is their energy great, they are well organized, clean, and best of all... I FEEL GREAT! I used to regularly wake up with headaches and neck pain. Within the last month, Im sleeping better, and have only had a couple headaches. So I already feel an improvement. Dr. Mitch is passionate about his work and truly cares about the overall health of his patients. Physical and emotional. He understands how the central nervous system works and helps his patients to fix the damage done, but also prevent future illness. They are also Kid Friendly. 3 yrs ago I fell on ice. After 3 surgeries resulting from my injuries due to the fall, I was left with Chronic Pain and disabled. 24 hrs of intense pain 7 days a week. I was prescribed many different kinds of pain killers. I never wanted to dull my pain. I needed to understand what was happening to my body in order to heal.Mentally I was destroyed. I felt on a daily basis like life was coming to an end for me. I couldnt see my future. I couldnt play with and enjoy my grandchildren. I couldnt wash my dishes let alone cook dinner for my family. I couldnt clean my closets, walk up stairs without doing the 1 step. I couldnt get out the tub without help. The pain had taken over my life.I had several procedures done on my back. To no avail, nothing helped. . I still had severe pain. Drs told me not to lift, dont twist, dont run, dont do sit-ups. What can I say, I loved the gym. Talk about afraid. I was so scared. I decided to search for my own healing. I saw a video on fb. All I remember was the place was on Middlebelt. I immediately headed out down Middlebelt I drove. I needed relief fast. I saw Aligned Chiropractic, went in and met with Dr. Mitch. I complimented him on the funny video I saw of him and his staff on fb...🙂. Dr. Mitch did my assessment, got me on schedule and OMG!!! Today, my mental clarity is back. Im reading again because I can retain what I read now. I can lift myself out the tub. Walk up the stairs normally. I can wash dishes, cook, and guess what? Ive cleaned my own closets....What stands out to most, and brings tears to my eyes everyday, is hearing Dr. Mitch say, move your body, run, and yes, I can do sit-ups. That is music to my ears. More than that, since my treatment started....my body agrees..The icing on the cake was when I went home after my assessment to check out the video on fb. I realized, that wasnt Dr. Mitch 😂😂😂. My Name is Ron, I just wanted to say thanks to Align Family chiropractor for helping me with my chronic back pain that I have been suffering with for 4 1/2 years. I have been on pain. Meds for the entire time to control my pain. I sought out a Pain Management doctor which I have been under their care for 4 years. I have had 6 nerve oblations (nerve burning) to alleviate to pain I was experiencing which ultimately returned and didnt last long. Im a 20 plus year Registered Radiographer yet I still suffered this life altering problem. My Daughter who suffers from chronic neck and back pain convinced me to give Dr Mitch (chiropractor) a chance and within 2 weeks of therapy there have times throughout the day that I didnt realize I had not taken any pain. Pills which I was accustomed to doing due to my chronic back pain. Im not easily convinced about much, however, I decided to give him a chance and I can honestly say I feel so much better and his therapy has begun to restore my quality of life again.

When I first visited Align Family Chiropractic, I was in excruciating pain! I couldn’t sleep laying down due to chest pain every time I took a breath. My entire upper-left side was compromised (shoulder, rear neck & chest)…I now sleep laying down, I’m not completely winded after going up a flight of stairs and I am breathing a lot more clearly. I have more progress to make, but I am certainly on the road to recovery!
Dr carpenter is great, I’ve only had a few appointments and he has already made me feel like I’ve known him forever. He cares a lot about his patients & his office is just full of smiling faces & positive people. 10/10 would recommend.

Was recommended coming to this place by my mom. I was hesitant to go at first due to not having any of my problems fixed nor addressed by the last chiropractor I went to. Went and was pleasantly surprised by how big and clean the place was. It also had a positive vibe to it that is rare to find in a medical setting. I really liked how they actually care about finding out whats going on with you and actually fixing it instead of just giving you a little relief without fixing the problem and sending you on your way like a lot of chiropractors do. Had I not gotten an x-ray of my neck and spine I would have never known that my neck was as bad as it is and the cause of a lot of problems in my body happen to be due to spine/nervous system missalignment. Feeling better and Ive only had like 2 adjustments. They also incorporate exercises that makes the healing and realignment of the spine much faster. They also have 3 different payment options for your care plan so if you dont have health insurance and cant pay in full upfront they got you covered. Mom couldnt squat before she came here and was complaining about back problems, now she can squat and is feeling a lot better. Id give this place a 10/10, highly recommend.

Love this chiropractic office, finally someone who cares about our health. After putting off going to the chiropractor for so long I finally decided to give it try and since then I’ve seen amazing results. Not only in myself but my 4 yr old daughter Penelope. An experience like none other I have ever had with Chiropractic care. My Piriformis Pain is gone and the benefits keep coming. I love the whole person approach to care here.Tthe pre and post adjustment exercises! The staff is outstanding. All of them play an important role in caring for patients here. I am practically in the middle of my treatment plan and although my initial symptoms are gone- I’m in it for the long haul to keep healthy, safe and happy!

I was skeptical but desperate to feel better. Dr. Carpenter and his staff go above and beyond to help you get ready for your visit. They are AWESOME! I limped in and WALKED out on the first session. To date ...I could not sleep without waking up 3 and 4 times during the night if I did not use my c-pap...came back from vacation and hadnt had time to set my machine up and realized I had been sleeping straight through without the c-pap..Im so excited for this surprising improvement. People all about money. It would be good if someone would have told me that I would have to pay on this visit. That not the bad part it’s the Fact that she crossed out one price and said I had to pay a different amount.. so I asked don’t you bill my insurance and the young lady said yes but they do not know how much they will pay.. I am the kind of person that if you not upfront with me I will not do business with you. People are very nice just need to be upfront.

To live with a pain weather in my hands for 40 years or my arm for 2 years and in 1 year I haven’t felt it. I love to pick up my Granddaughter 3 years old. And I had to be extremely careful or it would hurt so bad the next day. It hurts anyways but this was pain. But I still would pick her up. I have been going to Dr. Mitch for 1 year and I don’t Pay for picking up my Granddaughter. So come and try it. Oh and I attended a class and wow the information was so intriguing and knowledgeable. As they will say don’t have to try my eating plan just do one. Well I did theirs because they did all the research for me. I am very busy so that was a big help. Thank you so much. The treatment plans are very patient proactive. I have gone there for a few appointments and have been very impressed with the office staff and office layout. I would definitely recommend this office to those are experiencing issues with there back. They are very flexible to the individual patients requirements.
Lets just say that I hv neglected chiropractic care for as long as 12 years. I felt excruciating pain one day in my deltoids and I hv never recovered. It gets worse and worse.Make a long story short, I hv stage 4 degenerative disc disease and Dr. Mitchell, Ashton, and Abby have been nothing short of angels for me!! Im not sure what wouldve happened if I waited for more care somewhere else, but you owe it to yourself to stop in and get an ex-ray and meet them. Dont waste your money on Chiropractics. After 100 years of scientific study, chiropractics has only been proven to drain your wallet by never actually relieving ailments or managing pain. Im still surprised it hasnt been outlawed in the U.S. because its a scam. Get a massage instead, it feels better and has far more benefits for managing pain. Oh yeah, its also cheaper.
I was a little reserved about going at first but the staff was so nice over the phone that I gave them a try. I am so very happy that I did. The place was clean and friendly but above all I was educated on what my particular problem was. I was also offered options that fit my budget and I felt incredible leaving. I am going back!

2021-12-13Let me start by saying that I was already doing everything I knew to do to get my whole life back after suffering for the last 9 months with chronic pain in my head, neck & back and not being able to sleep soundly for the last 10 years, but I NEVER knew about spinal health. Dr. Mitch is the newest doctor I’ve added to my care. I am SO HAPPY he was recommended to me! I love the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility and its family friendly atmosphere…and I can’t forget about the music. That’s important to me, but not more important than the results I’m seeing since I walked into his office on August 24th. My quality of life has improved 200%! I got my bounce back and I can even cross my legs, sing again and sleeping like a baby!

2022-05-09Just as soon as I refused to pay the $5000 that he said it would take to continue care with him…His care immediately stopped there!!!Regardless that I was barely able to hold my head up during his and his wife’s 90 minute sales pitch..I mean…”teaching opportunity”. Due to my FIRST adjustment done by Dr. Carpenter the day prior.To share my experience regarding the adjustment it’s self…. It was the very first time that I had left an adjustment IN MORE PAIN in my entire life!It was also the very first time that I had ever had a chiropractor awkwardly panic (Not jokingly!) and ask me if I could FEEL and WIGGLE my toes after he adjusted my neck! It was my biggest fear going to see a chiropractor and it all unfolded right before me… and now it’s my real life…The pain I felt after the adjustment done by Dr. Carpenter resulted in missing numerous days of work as well as the need to consult with my primary doctor. Upon her request for my records, they provided little THUMBNAILS of my x-rays, but was unwilling to provide any details or “doctors notes” regarding my condition or of my X-rays done while under his “care.”My doctors emails and my emails have since gone unanswered.2.5 months post adjustment, I’m am still going to doctors appointments, specialists, and physical therapy for my neck. BE CAREFUL! It is very clear it is just a money making scheme for him and his wife!

2022-03-30I had been in severe pain due to pinched radial nerve for over 10 days. Unaware at first what the issue was. I had been to the Urgent Care, ER, PCP and my pain specialist who said yep its a pinched nerve. Gave me some injections to loosen the muscles around it to relieve the pain and sent me on my way. After another week of pain I reached out AFC and made an appointment. After the examination and he saw that I had been suffering. They were able to get me back in, in the afternoon for an adjustment. I walked out-of there not knowing how I felt yet. By the time I got home, the nerve pain had receded and I got a great nights sleep. I cannot be more grateful to this team. They gave me my quality of life back. Thank-you!

2022-08-22Best care I have received in years. I have little to no migraines and I used to have migraines everyday. My son also gets treated here due to him being diagnosed with torticollis. He wasnt able to turn his head to the left when he was born, but after a few adjustments, he was able to turn his head to the left now with no issues. My son is 4 months old.

2022-04-20They take 3 pictures of your neck.. one in its natural state. The other with a foam stick behind your neck while u are pulling on it away from you (to give it a curve). The last picture is after the adjustment. During the consultation, they show you ONLY the initial and the picture with the foam stick (which doesnt show on the X-ray). He claims the amazing curve in the second picture was achieved after just one visit. Which is a lie. After I questioned him about the picture with the foam stick he said oh, we toss that one out. 🤣🤣🙄🙄😮💨😮💨
