Dr. Upadhyay is the coolest Doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting. I can talk to him like he is a normal person not just a Doctor. The staff are the same way, SUPER POLITE and RESPECTFUL.The buildings are clean and always smell nice.

I’ll share with you the experiences I can confirm. I am a patient under the care of Dr. Upadhyay for some years now. The comfort level of care for me is difficult. This year has been the worst and hardest year in progressive worsening pain. The support understanding, and relief I need, starts when I walk into the Drs office. The welcome and kindness from his staff meets you at the door. It helps a lot when you know they truly care. I feel safe knowing all of them are there for me. The hole staff works hard on making my visit as satisfyingly pain free as possible. My telemed appointments are always on time and executed just as organized and comfortable as being in the office. Dr. Upadhyay’s surgery clinic Is also the best clinic for any needed suggested care.When I was gonna give up on injections because they weren’t helping. I gave it one more chance when Dr Upadhyay, said he can help me. Well I am now receiving treatment every 3 months. His technique really really rates as the number one pain Dr . Along with my medicine and injections I can live better quality of life. Pain is horrible, it takes our life away our happiness and limits us from being productive. The Dr. Gives me what I hope for. A day of smiling again, and a life knowing that he’s got me. And that feels wonderful.Live happy, live safe, be healthy, spread kindness.That’s how there team works. Dr. Aman and his staff are amazing. Making an appointment or rescheduling is made simple with their texting system. They usually respond within 15 to 30 minutes, not to mention they actually listen to me and have addressed all issues that I have had. Dr. Aman also suggests multiple alternative options to pain management which have provided me with positive, long term effects. I would highly recommend Dr. Aman Upadhyay to anyone who is ready to take control of their pain.
I have an intense travel schedule for work and Dr Uphdyay’s team have been very flexible and accommodating with remote consults. In the beginning we had to change up different pharmacies for a special compound but that is finally corrected. We are in discussions for new treatments and I feel I am lucky to have this team working with me.
I have had one in-person appointment and one telemedicine appointment. I could not be happier about my experience with Dr. Upadhyay so far. The office staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The NP that I saw in person is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met and has a great bedside manner. The NP that I spoke with during my telemedicine appointment was very professional and never made me feel rushed. The communication between the office, NP’s and myself is clear and they were happy to answer my questions.
Dr. Upadhyay and his coworkers Hannah and Charday are awesome. They really care about the patients they see and are understanding and down to earth. I would recommend their Rochester hills location as I have been going there about two years now and have never had a bad experience.
For the past few years I was very fortunate to have come across Dr Upadhyay. I first met him working at H. F. H. System at the Columbia center in Novi.So when he went into to own practice and put his office in Waterford I was so happy. Now heres a doctor who listens and works on specific problem areas of pain. This Doctor knows his work..I have referred others to him. They too also like his way.I am very happy with him and I like it when we meet each time its great to know how things are coming along and then we sit and talk about other ways to handle my pain. The staff is wonderful also. Great work, and thank you for allowing me to share this story.
Best pain clinic around!Dr. Upadhyay and his staff are very professional and caring. Any concerns you may have are actually listened to and questions are answered no matter how long it may take.I’ve been to two other pain management clinics and felt like just a number in a revolving door clinic. When you walk out of Dr. Upadhyay’s office, you actually feel like you’ve been to the doctor and had all your questions answered. You are NOT a number with him and Dr. Upadhyay ISN’T one to come in the room, ask how your pain level is, make a few notes while never looking at you and then leaves.If you are unsatisfied with your current pain management doctor or are looking for one, I highly recommend Dr. Upadhyay. You will not be disappointed.
The staff and Dr. Upadhyay were very courteous and made me feel comfortable, yet professional!. I feltrelax and was and was able to explain mymedical condition without feeling rushed. Very helpful!
Most times my experience has been good however 3 months in a row some of my meds were forgotten and on the last visit even my pain meds were forgotten. When I call to remind them my calls went unanswered and were never returned, On my last visit it took 2 hrs to be seen with nobody stopping by to update me as to why. I believe these are staff problems. Dr Upadhyay has always been very kind and always listens to what I have to say.

Very caring and understanding of the chronic pain I continued to experience following 3 kyphoplasties and a spinal fusion. There were a few times where I had to wait, but he made up for it with the time he spent with me. I highly recommend him to anyone who suffers chronic pain; he really does listen and care!

Dr. Aman Upadhyay and Dr. Shardea Turney and the rest of his team are fantastic. Ive been seeing them for lower back pain and sciatica at the Waterford & Rochester Hills offices for about 2 years. Their staff is very kind and courteous. Even the surgery center employees made me feel relavent and also listened carefully and responded to my needs. They are by far the best Pain Management doctors and team that Ive ever been to. Dr. Aman and Dr. Shardea are NOT pill pushers, they get to the ROOT CAUSE of your pain and respond accordingly. And yes I (Edwin) would definitely recommend Dr. Aman and Dr. Shardea for your pain needs.
I am so thankful for having met Dr Upadhyay! I have been struck with several new illnesses and challenges and he has continued to provide top level treatment and pain management. Ive had severe chronic pain over 15 years and Dr. Aman is a rare breed. Hes very professional and highly proficient in his understanding of pain. He listens and that goes a long way when youre in pain.

Im a patient of Dr.Aman Y. Upadhyay, and i must say i had no life, always was at home, i stop attending church the whole 9 yards of living inside my home. I have Crohens Disease to tenth power. Dr Upadhyay accepted me as a patient. And yes ive turned my whole life around. Hes gotten me on the right meds. His caring n concerns for his patient goes far beyond of just giving you meds. This place is an absolute joke. No one answers their phone, and if you are lucky enough to have them get back to you, they dont call you, they text you. I was told Id hear from them 2 weeks after my final branch block to schedule the RFN, and ISTILL havent heard back from them after calling and leaving several messages. The only good thing about the place is the guy Neil (Neal?) who works there. Hes incredibly friendly and good at his job. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ive been with them several months almost a year ago and theyve been great courteous and very kind and always helping with my needs it has never been a hassle for me to get in and see them even if I missed an appointment they rescheduled me very quick I feel because of them in my life I want to thank him very much

My experience each time has always been very pleasant. I’ve had an obvious turn around in just 1year. When I first started I couldn’t even walk. My progress has been amazing. I love Dr Aman and his entire team both in Rochester and Waterford.I had a good visit with Dr Aman. My spacers in my back have held just fine, and I’m getting around without assistive help.

I had a very hard time for a while trying to find a good pain Dr. I found Dr. Upadhyay on Google. I had my first visit on tele-appointment. He ask questions and also listened to me. He was understanding and what I love the most about him besides giving excellent care he also suffers from pain. So he knows the day to day aches and pain (Also a handsome young man as well). The staff is polite and friendly but it feels like Ive known them for years. I am a new patient that has Osteoarthritis in both knees with no cartilage, Nerve damage that effect both legs and feet and Lower Lumbar herniated disc, Carpal Tunnel in both hands and a Pinch nerve. I feel like they care and thats very important to me. Great place!

Doctor Upadhyay is the most caring doctor I have had the pleasure of having. He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. He takes time with his patients and actually listens. He asks the right questions, and takes appropriate actions based on your symptoms. He takes time to explain and he is honest. His nurse practitioner, Hannah is just as professional, knowledgeable and caring. They genuinely care about their patients.Seriously, not your typical doctor, he is a good man. I have had many pain managment doctors in the past. I have a 4 level spinal fusion and a bad ankle. All of my previous docs have been older doctors who I think never really understood me. Most have been very unprofessional, not give me the time of day, and not genuinely care about my pain. Im only 36. Pain controls my life at this point. Its always on my mind and im on a search now to be happy again with reduced pain. Aman understood my issues and talked with me like a person. He is by far one of my favorite doctors. I’ve been seeing Dr. Upadhyay for 3 years now and have been extremely happy with my treatments and office visits. He is very easy to talk to and has been very helpful with trying new things to help me. Es punctual and genuinely concerned with my well being. The office staff have always been nice and very helpful with questions. When I leave a message for Dr Upadhyay I get a response very quickly or by days end for sure. Dr Upadhyah has been my pain management doctor for almost 10 years. He has worked with me on multiple options for pain relief throughout the various stages of my back and leg disabilities. He has one of the best interpersonal relationships with his patients I’ve ever encountered. He takes the time to sit with you each visit to evaluate your current condition and discuss any new treatment options that may provide long lasting pain relief. He never rushes through your visit and is genuinely concerned about your welfare. When office visits haven’t been an option during COVID, he reaches out through a Telemed call to follow up and make sure any medication refills are in place to ensure continued pain relief is in place. I will be traveling a great distance in the future to continue my care regimen with him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent pain management physician. This is the first Pain Management Doctor that I had that listens to his patients. His professionalism his 10 plus and his compassion/knowledge base is above and beyond. Dr. Upadihyay is one of a kind. He explains in a language you can understand and ensures you are aware of your options if any. Having him as your Doctor is a God send!

The best doctor I’ve ever had and tied with my primary doctor. I rarely need to tell him where I’m at with my pain levels. The first time I saw him, as soon as he walked in the room, he started off telling me almost everything that I had damage at without even viewing the notes from the referring doctor. On top of everything and I leave knowing that he has my best interests and a solid plan to get my pain to a manageable level as quickly as he can even with Covid limitations. I’ve recommended him to all my friends that aren’t happy with their pain doctors as well. Not one complaint from any of them.
This is a Doctor who truly listens and genuinely cares about people in general. Dr. Upadahay sits back in the chair, maintains eye contact and makes you feel as though he has all the time in the world to listen as long as he needs to in order to address your concerns. He is not preoccupied with the laptop as so many physicians seem to be these days.Dr. Upadahay always follows through with what he tells you he will do. Dr. Upadhyay is great! Thoroughly explains any details and answers all questions. Only when you can actually reach him or get a message to him. When trying to set appt.s or speak to someone in the office, its a complete joke. I usually have to go through my neurologist office to get anything set up. They sometimes have issues also. I have actually had to get the doctor to contact via text to get the ball rolling also. All in all, Dr Aman is great. Its his office thats the issue.
My experience was awful, and when I described it as such, one of the doctors yelled at me over the phone.I needed my ITB pump to get refilled on time so I didnt have withdrawal symptoms. I started trying to set up an appointment 3 months in advance, but It took 2 months and three scheduled appointments for them to finally admit that they couldnt get my ITB pump refill covered by my insurance. They just kept dragging me along and always told me they would work it out. After 2 months of wasted time I found another doctor at a different practice, and fortunately I was able to get my refill in time.Normally when a doctor doesnt take my insurance, I find out on the very first phone call and move on. Months later and false promises are inexcusable. I would never recommend these people to anyone.

Nice staff except for the anesthesiologist who was very rude and condescending!!The Docter was very nice but I was in massive pain when the procedure was done also when I went home.I was in pain for 3 days and procedure was very painful and one point I yelled in pain!!My anesthetic did not kick in until after the procedure thats when I got all loopy...But I do not blame the doctor for his part... just the anesthesiologistThats why I give it two starsTo be honest I am hesitant to go back for my next procedure but I will give it a shot anyways.

Dr. Upadhyay went out of his way to make sure I received the injection I needed. I was in the hospital for 8 days due to a pinched nerve in my back when he was able to read the reports from the hospitals pain doctor ( who I never liked) that the wrong area had been injected he fit me as soon as he could and was able to hit the right spot.im ho1me no1w and working through an injury the hospital caused ,but Dr. Upadhyay was great

I have been under Dr Upadhyays care for 6+ years. He is one of the best Doctors Ive ever had and as a result I followed him from HFHS to Pain Clinic of Michigan when he moved.He strikes the balance between the art and the science of medicine perfectly. I have always felt listened to and respected as well as having always been offered the best possible treatment options for pain management. Every intervention Dr. Upadhyay has recommenced and performed has helped me greatly with my quality of life. He has always done the necessary testing and evaluation prior to making a recommendation then given me the information I need to decide if I wish to follow through with the procedure. From steriod injections, to implantation of a nevro device to nerve burning to the recent vertiflex procedure I have always experienced consistant, responsive care and positive outcomes.I recommend Dr. Upadhyay highly to friends and acquaintances experiencing similair difficulties to my own. He is an excellent doctor.and an excellent person always showing up with humor, compassion and the highest professional standards. I am very grateful to be under his care.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful for my first visit. And Dr Aman Uphayap was understanding of my pain issues and his recommendation and treatment plan have so far worked and I’m greatful for his experience because so far the pain have decreased

I believe Dr. A man has spread himself too thin. You are not able to leave a message for the staff because the mailbox iis always full. All I needed to do was double check an appointment. Dr Aman is my second Anashegolist. Unlike the first one who just reviewed my medical history and just prescribed the medication, he sat and listened to my issues and ASKED questions. For the first time in 6 yrs, I am comfortable. And to top it off, I was recently diagnosed with Urothelial Carcinoma. The Urologist stated all he could do for me was a chemo treatment and that surgically removing the tumor was not possible due to the issues that Dr Aman treats me for. Dr Aman made some calls and got me into a surgeon that is going to remove this nasty tumor which will give me a chance of survival. So all I can say is Dr Aman not only cares about your issues that brings you to him, he goes all out to help you with all your medical needs.Thank you a million times over Dr Aman.I owe you my life !!

Dr aman is great!!! Its his staff that is terrible. Telehealth visits dont happen.. They dont call you back. Act as if your a bother. If it wasnt for Dr aman I would never go back

I love Dr. U. He’s compassionate, asks questions, and is understanding. My regular doctor used to take care of me because he knew what happened to me, until the CDC came in with their false authority, He’s the only one I’ve found who believes what I say and doesn’t treat you like you’re a drug addict or a pill seeker!I am so lucky to have found him. I have issues that cannot be helped with surgery or any other means of relieving my pain. It’s from childhood and rheumatic illnesses, and he understands this.The pain is never gone, but it’s bearable sometimes and I have a few hours a day where I can function.

2022-06-25Dr Aman is my favorite Dr. He is very kind. He does not have the God complex so many Drs do. He remembers everything. He always makes me feel that he cares and listens. You can tell that everyone who works with him also loves their jobs and enjoys working with him. I would definitely recommend him and I have. He is an amazing Dr.

2022-07-22Dr. Aman is one of the only doctors out there that I trust. I have had several procedures that I had to be put under anesthesia for, which is scary enough, but I trust my doctor & anesthesiologist. The offices & procedure locations are neat & clean with the same friendly welcoming faces which is also nice to see. I’ve been with my doctor for a couple of years now & he takes good care of his patients.

2022-06-29I cant lie, but when I had first met Dr. Aman, I thought he looked a little too young, I kinda like the old school Drs because Im getting old myself. But I would recommend Dr. Aman Y. Upadhyay to anyone, he is amazing! I have been blessed by meeting him, and his staff. Dr. Upadhyay is s as maxing as is the rest of his staff. Caring, compassionate, understanding and tuned in to my pain relief 100%.
