Comment: I have been going here for years typically with good experience. However this Tuesday June 4th 2024 I had a very bad and unpleasant experience from a manager named Art. I stopped there to patch a flat my flat tire, he told me he would do it if I waited one hour due to having only one employee working, which was a lie to begin with. Then after waiting for 20 minutes he came back claiming that he could not repair the patch because the tire was “too old” I asked him to show me because the thread is still good and tire was not worn out yet but he refused to show me why he thought it was “too old”. He then said that the only way he would do it is to buy from him new tires. It was an obvious attempt to skimp a routine tire patch to sell new $150+ tires. I tried reasoning with him but he kept insisting that I would need to buy a new tire or go away. Ended up taking the car to another adjacent tire shop and they fixed the patch within 5 minutes and told me the tire is in good condition and doesn’t need to be replaced. I would advise not to do business with these crooks.

Comment: I found that the American Tire Store in Glendale was exceptional on service and pricing. They will match other tire stores prices and deliver on that promise. I shopped around and found that by going through them I was able to save about $140, the difference of a quote that I found at another tire shop in the area. Once your in there its only a short time that your service is completed. Along with all that they do a free tire rotation at 5,000 miles. Give this tire store a chance when shopping for tires. I couldnt be any happier. Thanks American Tire Store.

Comment: After many Years of taking care of my 2016 Toyota Corolla- I can absolutely say this shop is not only of high quality, they are trustworthy too. In fact, they spotted faulty & fraudulent work by another shop, which I was then able to have corrected. The safety implications (which turned out to be non-repaired damage to the frame & chassis) of that botched job were chilling, and they were right to let me know. They noticed I’d been replacing my tires at an unusual rate- and instead of just selling me new ones, took a good look and found a titled chassis. That’s just one example, but I’ve never been oversold by this shop. And when I’ve needed work beyond their scope, their referrals have been fantastic too. I’m happy & proud to be their customer. Comment: They detected a problem with my front axle while rotating my tires. They recommended that it was something that needed to be addressed as soon as possible, but were not pushy. To me that was refreshing. Once I approved the repair it was done promptly and professionally. In the past they’ve repaired some slow leaks in my tires free of charge. I have also taken my wife’s car in for repair and experienced the same great service. I highly recommend American Tire Depot.

Comment: I started coming here for oil changes. I drive a car from 2006. For all accounts most mechanics write me off etc. Art. I believe he is either the GM or owner is amazing. He was honest and forthright with what was needed for my Chevy HHR. I was going to buy a new car but the market is nuts. They gave my old POS a whole new lease on life. This business will not upsell you and they will efficiently fix your vehicle. As an owner of an older vehicle they will tell you all the work that needs to be done. But they have never ever pushed that on me. I will always be back. Thanks Art.

Comment: What an awesome work of Art! (Wink) I called in to ask about replacing my tires which weren’t replaced in 7 years (haha). I’ve been really nervous about driving my car because my tire pressure light kept turning on once a week. Art, the store manager, picked up the phone and told me he has the all season tires for my car, and that I could get them replaced today. And 3 tires + 1 deal is awesome! Great value for Bridgestone for extra $93 off. And everyone stayed behind an extra hour to make sure my tires are also aligned correctly, etc… and I felt welcome and comfortable, even though it was probably tough for them to squeeze me in at the last minute. Thank you so much again for kindly explaining everything to someone who knows not much about cars, would highly recommend this place to anyone! :)

Ive been going here for several years to buy and mount tires for all my vehicles and trailers and would tell all my family and friends to go here.My last purchase was 4 tires in 2020. They had charged me for the road hazard warranty without me knowing or asking. One tire got punctured by a bolt that would make the tire go completely flat in one day. I went in August 2022 to get the tire repaired or replaced. They insisted on just repairing it with a plug even though the puncture was too big.In October 2022, the same tire continued to leak so I went back. They wouldnt honor the road hazard warranty and again plugged it but this time adding glue.I went back in December 2022 because the same tire was still leaking. This time they patched it instead of honoring the road hazard warranty.The tire was still leaking so once again, I went back in January 2023. This time they told me nothing is wrong, they added air and told me to keep driving it.I didnt want to keep going back because they wouldnt honor the road hazard warranty they sneaked into my bill.The tire is still leaking, with less than 5000miles on them. I went in today June 2023 only to find out the road hazard has expired.Not only did they sneak in the road hazard warranty but they wouldnt honor it. They kept pushing the repair further and further to let the warranty expire. The tire is unsafe to drive as it leaks 5psi per week.I will no longer be going here and I do not recommend H. Boujakjian as he has very shady business practices.You can search their reviews and see that multiple other people also got scammed by their road hazard warranty.Update: Corporate responded to the negative review with a generic they’ll make it right response asking for your contact information. I sent them the information and they never actually reached out. Take your business elsewhere. This company does not follow through on their word and does not care about their customers.

Comment: Theres a fine line between upselling and recommending when it comes to car repairs, and this store definitely stays on the right side of the line. There are many things that wear out and/or break on cars, and these guys are always honest and straightforward about what needs to be done now and what should be done soon. They will also give discounts if multiple things need to be done in the same area.One of the most honest stores Ive been to.

It was a new tire that I had just got about two months ago, the worker little short, Hispanic guy with a little beard said yes I’ll change it for you. Don’t worry I’ll fix it. Manager comes out and tells me in order for them to fix that one tire. I either have to buy one brand new tire or four new tires and says my tire is not fixable literally went to blocks down to another place and they fix it for me right away… the manager at this location is just really mean and rude. He just said no can’t fix it either buy one or leave. Definitely not going back there again don’t recommend this place anybody

I paid online and showed up and there was no needless upsell, no change or price, no tacked on fees over what was stated online.They have a sign with your name and if you show up on time there is no oh but he showed up before you I was there at 8:30 and out at 8:55.Cherry on the top was that there was no commotion about my tires being slightly wider than factory spec, they knew it fit and they had no fuss about it. This no BS approach is much appreciated. Overall great experience.

I gave them my budget and they were flexible to accommodate what I was looking for, and even though the tires I originally wanted were not in stock for same day servicing, they provided me similar options within my price range. The manager Art was helpful in squeezing my car in, to make sure there was enough time to work on it before closing on Friday evening of a long holiday weekend. Comment: I happen to get a flat tire right at 4:30 p.m. and had to have my car towed to a tire shop. I happened to call American tire Depot and Alex answer the phone. He was very courteous. Very helpful. He checked the tire right away by the time my car got towed to their shop. It was already 5:45 and they were going to be closing in 15 minutes. He could have turned me away but instead he welcome me and help me put the tire on. It took 10 minutes for them to change the tire and Im off. Thank you so much Alex and your crew. You could probably spend at least a third of the amount somewhere else that’s a good quality to get the same type of service. I spent over $1000 there I will not be back. Comment: **BEWARE** DO NOT BUY MICHELIN FROM THIS LOCATION** Claims to not be a Michelin dealer (says otherwise on the Michelin website) and wouldn’t help me when i tried making a warranty claim or replacing my tires through Michelins 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Bought a whole set of michelin tires from this location that somehow went bad within a month. Do yourself a favor and go to any other American Tire Depot location or Americas Tires. They all price match with this place and won’t make it a hassle if you have an issue with your purchase and need a warranty claim like they do at this location.

I ordered the tires by phone call, next day I got confirmation that my tires are in the store, immediately asked if I can bring my car around 4pm, Mr. Garabedian Antranik, store manager “sure, no problem”.I arrived at the store around 3:30pm where there was no parking space!I was out of the parking lot @4:25pm with 4 new tires, mounted, computer balanced, and comprehensive alignment completed.They have organized teamwork, I recommended highly for your car needs.

Comment: Ive purchased Good Year tires 4x online and delivered to American Tire Depot back in 2019 and installed fine, on June 2021 there was a bumpy/lump/ boil/ tumor or whatever you call it. When I went to claim my warranty the said it was covered under warranty, which is great, but I just need to pay the installation fee of $53.The tire with boil was replaced within 2 hours same day with brand new one with latest model, because my old tire was discontinued already per customer service. Also I had 2 front brake pads were replaced as well $150 and oil changed was done as well for $59.99 which was waived to get breakpads replaced. The guys are very professionals, they will acknowledge you right away on what you need. They keep you on the loop all the time. They are very friendly. I will come back again for more service on my cars.

Comment: So my tire popped on the freeway and I panicked. I called American Tire Depot and spoke to Alex who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told him my problem and they said they could help me out, if I got there before they closed at 6, on a Friday.I made it in, barely, and the staff was quick to help and change my tire. I drove home and my tire was showing a constant leak. I went back the next day and in less than ten minutes, I was on my way. They changed the valve stem, for free and made sure my tire was fine before letting me leave.Great service. 10/10 would come back again.

I went to have a tire patched at another business and they said I needed a bunch of things replaced. Sceptical, I took the car to Costco and they confirmed I needed new tires. I compared Costcos price to American Tire Depots price as well as when the car would be ready. Costco would have taken 3 days and $250 more. American Tire Depot had it ready THAT AFTERNOON! They were super friendly, very gentle sales pressure, did what was best for my car and ultimately gave me a deal I cant disclose. They went above and beyond. When I got my VW EOS back later that night, it was a BEAST. I had all new tires, new breaks and a coupon for an oil change. I am happy I found them. They are underground heroes and I will take my car no other place!

Comment: Went to this tire shop location in Glendale, ca to buy 4 tires + an oil change.my car came out with 2 different set of tire brands.after 3 months I had to return for free tire rotation, before the 3 months ended I noticed my car was leaking motor oil. took my car for an oil change at jeffry lube shop they told me oil pan screw was damage, told me to take it back for repairs, to where they did last oil change.then I went back to tire shop at glendale, they accept to repair the damage, they change the oil but the leaking was still there, took car back to them they never show me the repair but they said it was fix, 3 moths later took my car for an oil change again at jeffrys lube, but told me oil pan screw was too tight for that reason they wont do the oil chang because of liability issues. conclusion, american tire did a very bad job.I do not recommend this shop at all.

Comment: I called about 10 places looking for tires for my car and they all either had nothing or expensive ones. ATD was great! They were so kind on the phone, ordered my tires late afternoon Saturday and installed them on Monday after my work day (so they have great hours). The had my car done so fast, I went for a walk while waiting and the car was done even before I got back. I only walked for 20 minutes. The were the best price and best customer service. Highly recommend them!

Comment: I have never been so happy with a company as I am with this one. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM JAKE. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME. I went in for tires and came out with better tires than I expected and new back brakes. The mechanic did a great job. The wait was not long . I was very comfortable enjoy great coffee and donuts. This place and the people are assets to your company . I came home telling my family and my boss. Both said they would go to get thier tires there. My boss even called Jake and thanked him, and told him she would be taking her car in for tires. Comment: Went in to get a set of tires on freshly powder coated wheels for my 17 WRX. I had seen them in action working on my buddy’s FRS with his expensive wheels and had great service, so naturally when it was time for me I went to them. That’s when the nightmare began. After dropping 800 on a set of Pilot Sports AS3+ On a set of $1200 wheels that had been freshly powdercoated($500)they told me that one of my wheel bearings was questionable, I told them not a problem, it was still under warranty so I would take it to the dealer. Once the dealer try to pull the wheels off, my lug nuts snapped, I ask how and they said that who ever had put these wheels on had them so tight that Hercules himself would have a tough time to take them off. Had I had gotten a flat it would have to be towed since there was no way one could change a tire on the side of the road. The lug nut had been cross thread and would not come off. I brought it back to have them fix it, dealer would not touch it for fear of liability. When I brought it back they made it seem like they were doing me a favor in looking at it, that made me uncomfortable, I ask them to pull off all wheels to check all other my lug nuts in order to make sure none had been cross threaded, as well as to replace the set of lug nuts they had ruined, they didn’t. And when I arrived to pick it up the service writer try to explain what he thought happened to my wheel and said he thought the dealer used the wrong socket and that that how I ended up with broke the lug nut. And was told he would he could not replace the lug nuts for the simple reason he had no access to some. They are located across the street from a auto parts store. In the end I ended up with my wheels scratched, missing a lugnut, $100 rental car bill for the day, and trust issues. They did not want to take responsibility for their actions and tried to bullsh*t me, I decided not to argue more then I had for the simple fact that the staff has no idea what they are doing. If you value your car and want to feel safe in the investment that you made, steer clear of this place. Spend the extra money and go to a more responsible establishment. Would give negative stars but can’t

Comment: Bought tires a month ago at a great price but since then it has been at a greater cost and inconvenience to me. I have returned to the shop 4 times since as my steering wheel continues to shake at high speeds from the new tires. Problem is still not fixed and becoming frustrated with their low quality work. Losing confidence in the service they provide with each visit that doesn’t fix the problem. Definitely not worth saving a few bucks to have an uncomfortable ride.

Comment: They are after the money, not customer service. We purchased new tires from them a year ago. We took our car for tire rotation. We were told that the car had a minor power steering leak, that one of the shocks needed replacement and also the rack-and-pinion needed replacement. The quote was about $1,000. We told them we didnt have the budget for it. We just wanted the tire rotation. They kept on insisting about paying with credit card. Someone else was called to try to convince us. We said that we just wanted the free tire rotation, so they said NO, they wouldnt do it. Im very disappointed. They guy that helped us a year ago was amazing. Too bad he is no longer there. Im going to have to take my car somewhere else to get the tire rotation. They shouldnt offer to do it if they are going to pressure you to fix other things.

Comment: Amazing costumer service. After a hellish morning dealing with AAA service people and 3 hours of delays I finally made it here to get my tire fixed (under warranty). I was quoted a wait time of 1 1/2 hours but when I explained my situation and that I had called them earlier and that I needed to get to work they rushed my patched job and got me out if there in the knick of time for work.From buying my tires to now having them fixed I would recommend this store to anyone. Comment: Have my tires replace 7500 miles ago now they wear in the inside only, wen back to the store and they tray to sell the whole front suspension because supposedly is worn out so i took the truck to the dealer and they say is may alignment way off and the suspension has normal wear not for it to wear the tires to a point were i can see the wires. wen back to the shop and talk to the manager i ask for the print out of the alignment that they charge for, so he tray to look and they dont have a record.. mmm??? sounds like they never did the alignment, so he stated that is may problem now, been so rude and he just walk away never will go the place ever.

Robert introduced himself to me, and, as I was telling him my situation, he had two of his guys come out, jack-up my car and start working on the problem -- as Im still talking! It was great. It was like it was scripted or something; like they knew I was coming. I was in-and-out in 15 minutes flat.It was old school customer service, like you would see in an old movie; Or maybe, like concierge service you get in Las Vegas. And they want it for the cash without any paper. I did it bcz I paid for the coupon.Finally I used my full oil change coupon for 10% discount for full price of synthetic.

Comment: I usually go to the location in Pasadena but recently moved to Glendale. As an Americas Tire Co. customer for 15 years I was disappointed to have such a negative experience.They had a young manager named LUIS that tried to charge me $30 for a balance because one of the tires that I had purchased during a road trip wasnt from them. The Pasadena location never said anything in the past considering Ive been a customer for 15+ years and bought numerous tires.Please teach your front-line some customer service skills and throwing around yeah Im a manager doesnt go inline with the quality of service offered by most Americans Tire Co.Guess Ill be taking the long drive to Pasadena. I encourage you to do the same.
