I really enjoyed my visit and my exam at Americas best today that is the best visit that Ive had there in a long time. My previous experience well lets just say this is the best experience Ive had in a while my rep Sheila was very helpful, very clear and very professional, courteous & knowledgeable when helping me pick out the correct frames, tint and measuring the exact location on my face wear the glasses should sit properly. Thank you again Sheila for all your help and for restoring my faith in Americas Best eyeglass wear

I found the doctor to be very nice and informative. Everyone was quite nice. That being said, I do not understand how by adding $15.00 to an otherwise free exam and having to have a night vision prescription bumped the price up to 241.00. What happened to two for 65.00? Seems a bit like a scam to me.

Very friendly staff and easy scheduling. Dr. very cold and rushed. Wasnt going to schedule after last experience, but was hoping to see the woman Dr. that is sometimes there. Will not return to the Dearborn Heights, Mi office for future visits.

I couldnt get a pic of her face but im pretty sure she is suppose to be the manage, she lies about whether they have appointments available or not. DO NOT CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT. Go online and schedule it yourself. I made an appointment online for my son. They had at least 10 open for that date. The date of my sons appointment i ended up being able to take him instead of my husband so I called to see if they still had any appointments available she told me no. I hung up and looked onlone and they still had 5 appointments open. Its just laziness, it even worse that she is suppose to be the manager. They try to upsell everything also. Ive been using the $20 contacts for 10 year now all of a sudden i need $35 a box contacts instead. I think not. . . .Im in the office now, just heard her tell someone that they were fully booked for today, I went online and they have 4 appointments available for 3 hours from now just a liar!!

Rude customer service. Disrespectful & very rude doctor. Paid for anti scratch on my glasses, called made a appt to get fixed they didn’t schedule me until after my warranty expired. Go in they tell me my warranty expired a week ago… someone could have said that when I scheduled. now I have to pay out of pocket. What was the point of paying for it if it doesn’t work?!? No one told me that when you sold me the antiscratch. Money hungry!

Literally the worst customer service treatment Ive ever encountered. The manager Steve Cabara is disrespectful and unprofessional. After not ordering my contacts twice, when I call them a third time ask to speak to the Dr because I needed my prescription they were holding, he talks over me, doesnt apologize for their failure to order the contacts twice, and hangs up on me while Im speaking. I then get a call back telling me theyll release the prescription after having wasted 2 months of my time waiting on it. Go anywhere else.

Originally, I was only going to leave a 1 star rating because the MANAGER Brenna was not helpful at all and made us feel like we were bothering her.My sisters glasses broke and we were trying to use the warranty, the manager told us the style glasses she had was discontinued so we had to pick a new pair out ( up to $85.95 ) which is fine. My sister tried on multiple pair of glasses and brought them to the manager at the desk just for her to keep telling us that none of the Frames worked with my sisters Prescription. Finally we asked the manager if she could just help us find a pair that would work and she said No, I wont know if they will work until I scan them she wouldnt tell us what we were looking for nothing.. about 20 pair of glasses later, I asked the manager if I could purchase a more expensive pair of glasses and I would just pay the difference. Again, The manager told me No.. 2 other workers ( Sheila and Erica ) were Awesome!!! They over heard everything and immediately came to try to help us find glasses. They even tried to ask the Manager about getting a more expensive pair and paying the difference sense none of the frames would work, again she said No! Spent an hour there and left with No Glasses and No help from the manager on what to do sense the frames up to 85.95 wouldnt work. A few hours later, We received a phone call telling us that we could get a more expensive pair and pay the difference.. We went back up there today and Sheila helped us again. She was absolutely wonderful, beyond helpful, and overall a pressure to be around. Within 10 minutes, we found a pair of glasses that worked for my sisters Lenses and we were out the door. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHEILA!! Shes the reason I am now giving a 5 Star review

Dr. David Amster is very condescending. I asked him for clarification on something and he said Did I not just make that clear? He is not helpful, nor accommodating. If you are looking for a doctor that is kind, helpful, and makes sure you leave the office feeling reassured; do not visit Americas Best.
