Comment: Driving home from a long trip back from a work meeting in San Francisco and my tire pressure monitor light went off. I had lost about 15 lbs of air pressure in a rear tire and figured I caught a nail on highway 50. I called these guys to see if I could bring it in so they could check it out. Jack said he could get me right in and when I arrived about 10 minutes later he did. I did catch a screw in the tire and they repaired it, got me out in about 15 minutes AND CHARGED ME ZERO DOLLARS. I am in the car business and have never experienced such great customer service. Amazing job! Thank you!

Comment: I have been going to this location of America’s Tire for years. I go every time I need a little air pressure added. I go every time I need a new set of tires. I have also been there for flat repair. The amount of services they do for free, just to provide good customer service, is astonishing in this day in age. Two days ago I went for air in my truck tires. Yesterday I went because I ordered 2 tires for my Honda Odyssey and they had arrived. These people have ALWAYS treated me nicely, professionally, and had relatively quick turnaround time. Yesterday was no exception. I don’t remember who I talked to on the phone, possibly the manager, but he was great. When I went down there to get the two new tires installed I dealt with Luis, who was not only courteous and professional, but also took the time to explain a couple options to me- which I really appreciate. I will continue to bring mine and my family’s business to the Rancho Cordova (Folsom blvd.) America’s Tire in the future. Thanks guys!

Comment: After refusing to cover damage to my car wheels, I responed to their insurance company with this.D Tire / America’s Tire, well I guess I don’t have any choice but accept the pittance (10%) offered. Costco Tire will now get my family’s tire business. As you can see in my claim background, this is the second time Am. Tire has damaged my car. The last time was more obvious as that store had torn the undercarriage protective shield off the bottom of my car and let me drive away with it dangling on the ground. I guess, because the damage was undeniable and I saw them do it, it was paid for. With social media now they will pay for this also, where the previous damage will be note. I’ve paid for my wife’s and two boys tires at that store for the last 35 years, so I won’t see you later.

Comment: I regret not getting the guys names but they both provided excellent customer service. I went there on 11/6/23 around 3pm. I was having an issue with a low tire pressure alert. My car was parked in my garage for 2 consecutive weeks. I came home to a dead battery and underinflated tires. I put some air back in all 4 tires, but the TPMS light persisted. I decided to head to Americas Tire to see if they can help. The front desk guy came out to explain how the TPMS works in my car, provided a quick tutorial on how to recalibrate it, then offered to have the tires checked to ensure they were inflated correctly. I waited a few minutes for another tire technician to come out to check the tire inflation and the wear. Everything checked out positive and I was on my way and all at no charge! I had bought my tires at a different location and had the same excellent customer service. I was in this area because of work and had hoped I could get this resolved quickly and they delivered!

Had a bit of a unique situation: my OEM original wheels on the driver side were stolen in broad daylight while the car was sitting on the side of a busy road. I couldnt tow because I didnt want to make the brakes. I needed rims and tires fast. Called Americas Tire and Shaun helped me find available rims and tires that meet my needs. They had to pick up the rims off site, get them back to the shop and mount them so I could pick them up, get to my car, install them, and then return to the shop to get the other two new wheels put on the car. I called at 10, the first two wheels were in my hands by 3. I was back at the shop by 4:30 and out before the end of the day. I stopped by the shop a couple of times and there was a constant stream of customers. How they coordinated everything so smoothly is beyond me. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be returning here for my tire needs. Could not have asked for a more helpful and friendly team.

They also send you text reminders the day before.When I got there, all of the employees were super friendly and helpful.I ended up getting new tires (I knew it was coming since I had my tires for about 5 years), and the employee who helped wasnt pushy about which tires to get. He let me look through all of the options to compare the different elements that were important to me.The installation itself was pretty quick. They said it would take an hour, but it was barely 45 minutes. Overall, Im super happy with their service and will definitely visit again.

Comment: I took a tire in to have a flat repaired. There had been two previous repairs done on the tire (not by me), one up to their standards (plug and patch) and the other that they deemed unsatisfactory (patch only). They said they could not repair my flat due to safety concerns of the patch only repair. The problem is that they had already inserted a plug through the center of my tire and refused to finish the repair by patching the tire. They could have at least finished the repair, told me it was unsafe, and put on my spare tire. Instead they put ont he spare and sent me home with a tire in worse condition than when I came in. To top it off, they threw the oversized tire where the spare goes, left the cover for the spare opened, and threw my bike on top of the cover. Not cool. The representative saw me rearranging the mess they left and offered platic bag for the tire which I accepted. I was willing to buy tires from them but they didnt have the ones I wanted in stock so they tried to sell me an alternative which I did not want. I have tried to just describe my experience, which wasnt great. I rarely write reviews but I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Comment: This Americas Tire location has always treated me very professionally and courteously. Shaun deserves special mention because I was having a very tricky problem with my 4Runners TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) where my TPMS warning light on my dashboard would not turn off even though all tires were properly inflated. Shaun has a really good understanding of TPMS systems and explained to me what could be happening to cause this problem but first he used a handheld device to test the TPMS device on each wheel and and compared them to any OBD II codes that showed up. Long story short, Shaun corrected my problem and now my TPMS light on my dashboard is finally off after 6,000 miles driving with it on. Thanks, Shaun, for the great tire rotation and balance and for saving me an expensive trip to the Toyota dealer to get this fixed.

I purchased four tires from them and one of them was worn prematurely and the first guy I have his name but rather not post it here (assuming he had a bad day) would not honor the warranty because he said I did not follow their rotation schedule during Covid. When I asked for a manager and he would give me a prorated credit but they were not able to get me the same tire because supposedly Michelin stopped making the tire. I did not want to change one tire to a different one than the other three so I left only to find out many other tire shops can get the tire I need matching my other three.

Car had not been touched and was told another 45 minute to an hour. I didn’t have time to wait until 7:30 as it was already now 6:30, so I had to get a refund since they also charged me up front before any work had been completed. Being in the industry for over 13 years this is ridiculous. Should of just said they don’t have time today and scheduled for another time. Will never be going back here.

Comment: I called on Friday and asked for an appointment asap. A guy named Brandon answered the phone and set up an appointment at 2 pm (the time and date I requested) the very next day. I asked him how long it would take to install a new tire. Brandon checked and saw the brand and size tire I had bought before.He said I would have me out the door in 45 minutes.I arrived on time and Brandon looked at my car and said one of my tires was low. Only 15 lbs! There was a puncture in one of the tires.I was out the door with my new tire in EXACTLY 45 minutes. That includes mounting and balancing the new tire and fixing a nail-puncture in another tire (at no charge). Daniel did the repair and explained how the puncture happened.I have bought tires at this location at least six times over many years. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN! Brandon and Daniel did a great job and I appreciate it! Thanks guys!

Full blowout at highway speed in the left lane, and a small shoulder to pull into. And the car was full of family. AAA towed us to this Americas Tire.I am a longtime customer of my local Americas Tire location in the Bay Area.At the front desk was Austin. He was helpful and understanding of my plight: the car was loaded with family, including two persons over 70. The tire of the vehicle is a rare size. They didnt have any in stock. He immediately started making calls, and on the fourth one he contacted, he found them.The store manager, Ryan, was in the bays helping his team. I could also overhear him giving mentorship and instruction to the guys working that day. Again, a hot Saturday in Rancho Cordova.Ryan insured his team was in good shape and on top of their workflow, and he himself went to get our tires from the other location that had them. A 20 mile drive.And still, with all of that, and terrible westbound traffic on US-50 they still had us back on the road in under two hours.Now, Ive never had bad work done at Americas Tire. Even down to cleaning the sidewalls of the tires that werent changed. Visual inspection looked good. The work itself was up to their usual high standard.But the care and the service this guys showed us... of the charts. Way above and beyond. It wasnt just what they did, it was how they did it. That human factor that included situational understanding and sensitivity.Not enough good things to say. Treat these guys right, because I get the impression that they try to treat everyone right. Even from bits of interaction with other customers that I overheard.I hope they read this. Thanks a lot guys.

Comment: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE. They don’t deserve 1 star! Won’t be returning even though we have American Tire tires on 3 of our 5 vehicles. My son went to the American Tire store in Rancho Cordova, California. He purchased four new Michelin tires and in the process of removing one wheel the tire mechanic broke one of the five lug nuts! Their excuse was that it had been cross-threaded. They told my son that it would be safe to drive! Sounds life a brush off! Why are there five lug nuts per wheel!?! The indifference and lack of making things right has really soured us with this company/shop. The employee on the phone said he didn’t work on the car and so didn’t know anything about! Wow, American Tire might want to train their people re: customer care! Proper customer-care would be American Tire offering to pay to have the broken bolt extracted and replaced. I’ll be sending a copy of this complaint to customer care/corporate. I would highly recommend buying your tires elsewhere!

I was still in the parking lot. 3hrs later after they repeatedly told me it was almost done I looked in the bay and only 2 tires were on. When I left i was told my tires should be between 32/34 psi which I already knew. I called on my way home to ask if these tires should have a different psi than was originally told to me. They said no it should be 32/34. Well none of them were. One tire was even at 40psi!

This lack of workmanship has caused us major cost due to damaged brakes from tire being loose. if you take it to this store, be sure to stand by them and ask them to properly tighten the lug nuts with hand tools and not just power tools.

Comment: This American Tire Company continues to fail at customer service. This is the 3rd time we have come here and had a negative experience. Curtis who was the last tech we dealt with for a simple tire low pressure was told it would take 75 minutes due to the volume of customers. We returned 70 minutes later only to see our vehicle was moved from one parking spot to another. I noticed no other customers were present from the time we enter the store earlier. As I inquired with Curtis if our vehicle was complete he said it was just going in now. I asked him why was our vehicle just getting in the bay and he stated it was next and showed me the monitor. The screen showed another customer vehicle who arrived 9 minutes after us and completed with 68 minutes. I asked why this customer was ahead of us if they arrived later and Curtis didnt have an explanation for it. In fact he was irritated and unprofessional in his demeanor with me, by speaking loudly and kept stating we are doing the best we can. Bottom line if you make a mistake say so instead of being defensive. This is a customer service business and he apparently takes things personally.

As I was leaving, I called to check on their wait time and a young man asked me to come back so he could check on it. I let him know that I had to be out of there by 9am. When I went back, before I could even get out of the car, the young gentleman smiled and asked for my keys. Ten minutes later and before 9am, the nail was removed and my tire was all patched up. Comment: This place is my regular go to place for tires in the area that I live currently. I find the staff very courteous and they are rather quick at their job. Sometimes they can be quite busy. If they dont have a tire in, its easy to order. They do have restrooms for customers and sometimes they have water for waiting. There is also a nice restaurant around the corner if you dont mind a short walk.

Comment: I have been coming here for 30+ years and have always had excellent service. I have a repair business and I am on the road a lot so tire quality is important along with fast service. Eventhough the crew changes more than I change tires they have always been very knowledgeable, polite and fast. I will continue to come here as they always have my tires and the best price on them. Great company to deal with. I highly recommend them!

Comment: I had two tires that would go flat within hours so I took my vehicle here to take advantage of the free tire repair. The tech advised that the tires were no good and not safe to put back on the vehicle. I was offered two new tires at cost however I am not in a position that I can afford new tires. I was told they will see if they have some used tires to pit on for me at no charge. The manager came and talked to me and said they do not have any used tires so they are going to give me two new tires at no charge. I couldnt believe it but sure enough I left with two new tires mounted, balanced and installed FREE. These guys ROCK! I will only shop here for now on!!

Comment: I came in for new tires and they ended up breaking one of the Lugnut so they told me that they were going to pay for it but I had to take my car elsewhere for it to get fixed which was way out of my way plus traffic was disgusting. by the time I got to the place to fix my Lugnut they told me they were closed and were unable to help me. The guy told me to bring it back tomorrow so I told him I would come back at four tomorrow to get it fixed. He said that they need an hour to fix a lug nut and they close at 5 o’clock. I said well from 4 to 5 is an hour and he still would not take me. I can’t bring the cart any other time because i work and dont get off till 4 o’clock so now I’m gonna have to ask for time off which is taking a pay cut from my job to get this fixed because of their mistake I was not even compensated or anything for the last wages I will never go to the store again. I had to pay double than what I would’ve paid if they would’ve done the job right.

Comment: Ran over something in the road that punctured my tire. I called Americas Tire to have my tire replaced. They got me in and out quickly. 45 minutes from frantic phone call to new tire out the door. The staff is great and thanks to Alex for being helpful on the phone. This is my go to place for tires.

Comment: Good service - when you can get it. I went in three times to purchase a set of tires and was in there four times total. Every time I walked in there was a line of people standing like statues while two or three employees were on the phone. What should their priority be... someone on the phone or someone standing in front of them? I left and arranged an appointment.Overall, good selection of tires (they will match advertised price), but their friendly service is lacking and its not their fault. They seem unorganized at times because they are so busy. No one is just standing around (except the customers). They are either under-staffed or need a better method of greeting customers. Bottom line: figure out what you want online, call them and make an appointment.

Comment: Love the service. When I go in for air checks I never wait long. When a tire does need repair or replacement, they are always quick to the task. Appointments for know tire repair or replacement surgery are recommended, but walk Ins are always worked in. Walk Ins are 1st come 1st served so if they are busy, there might be a wait. However, once they start work, it goes quick.

Comment: I started out thinking I would buy my trailer tires at Wal-Mart, both to try and save a few dollars and because they are open Sundays and I was planning to move over a weekend. What a terrible idea!After spending hours calling different locations, most Wal-Mart locations didnt stock the cheaper option that was only marginally cheaper than Americas Tires anyway. One location said they had the chapter option in stock, so I drove 20 minutes to get there only to find out they didnt have the cheaper option and all they had would cost considerably more than at Americas Tire.I called Americas Tire, set up a time to have the tires installed and showed up about 30 minutes late. They still gave me a good price and expedited the mounting of the tires. Im very satisfied with the customer service and price. I wish I would have never wasted the hours of my life while trying to move with Wal-Mart.
