Comment: My husband and I booked DJ Curly and the Photobooth through AMS and i have to say everything was simply perfect. From initial emails with Claire to going over our vision with Curly, everything ran like a well oiled machine. Ill admit i was a bit of a nervous bride that everything would play out the way i imagined it - but i have to say those worries were quickly squished the moment i stepped into ceremony and heard the music we had spoken about. everything was perfect and Curly did a phenomenal job of reading the room and playing the best song that would really hit with the crowd. I cant tell you how many times i heard from people how good they thought the DJ was.We also booked the photobooth and had an equally amazing experience there. We went a bit non tradition and did not hire a photographer for the big day because we felt the fun candid photoshoot strips are what people tend to enjoy more from weddings, and boy were we right! All night long groups were hooting and hollering, just having a ball.These folks are the perfect mixture of professional and fun. Highly recommend.

Comment: We worked with AMS for an event we hosted in Santa Ynez. They were helpful and efficient in the planning for the event. I was able to meet the set up team and they were so friendly and helpful working with me to get the sound right. The event was a smashing success and AMS was part of the reason.

Comment: We had a great experience with AMS Events thanks to DJ Edu. He was highly professional, organized, and thoughtful. Not only was he a great artist and provided a great DJ set at our wedding, but he took extra steps to make sure we felt good in the weeks leading up to the event. He scheduled multiple calls before the wedding to get our input and followed up promptly whenever we had questions or concerns. He was a thoughtful listener. He also played a critical role the day of our wedding, liaising across various vendors to ensure all went smoothly. He even went out of his way to speak with our mariachi in Spanish to execute a specific vision we had at the end of our ceremony. We cant say enough positive things about Jose and the phenomenal impact he had on our wedding.

Comment: EDIT: I had to lower my review to two stars because they sent me four different emails (the fourth one 7 months after the event) asking for an outstanding payment that I had already paid on time, which is disappointing and unprofessional. The actual DJs are lovely and I would recommend reaching out to the DJs individually to book them rather than deal with AMS.My husband and I booked AMS Events for our Santa Barbara wedding in October 2022. Our DJ, Jose, was wonderful - kind, communicative, and did an excellent job on the day. However, Tad (the booking representative from AMS) was not great to work with. He tried to upsell me on lighting equipment I did not want. I requested a disco ball, he gave me a price, and when I wanted to move forward with it, he said it was not available. I ended up booking one with a different company for half the price he quoted. Overall, we loved our DJ but did not like working with AMS to book him.

Comment: We loved working with AMS events! From the beginning Ted was great to work with. Our specific DJ was DJ Edu and he was amazing. He knew the events and was able to deliver exactly what we wanted music and lighting wise! He was a breeze to work with, kept the party going all night and we only got positive feedback from our guests!

Comment: Emil was hands down one of the highlights of the entire wedding - which is saying a lot because we had an incredible day.We hardly ever left the dance floor the entire night and received endless compliments on the DJ - not only for the fire music choices but how calm and cool his presence was.AMS was also incredibly easy to work with - extremely responsive and just a seamless experience overall.Thanks AMS for making our wedding so amazing!!!

Comment: DJ Flamezz aka Joe was the DJ for our wedding last night and we had such an amazing time! He was attentive and checked in to make sure we were having a great time. He really knows how to read a room and kept the dance floor full all night with all of our favorite songs. Comment: AMS was awesome to work with for both lighting and DJ services for our wedding at Elings Park. They were super accommodating during the planning process and worked with our budget to find the right level of service. They did lights over both the deck and lawn area, DJ for dinner and dancing, and a mic/speaker for the ceremony. They really made everything seamless, showed up on time, were professional, very familiar with the venue since they are one of the approved vendors, and our DJ Joe (dj flamezz) kept everyone dancing the entire night! Couldnt have been better.

Comment: AMS provided us lighting for our very popular 21+ Afterparty event here at MOXI The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation - and we cant wait to work with them again!! Scott and his team were so kind and courteous, and were very respectful of our building rules. They also did a great job setting up their lighting among our public museum guests! Their lighting was beautiful, we especially loved the color changing lights they provided to give our dance floor even more of a party vibe. We cant wait to work with AMS again and highly recommend them!

Comment: We had been to a wedding and the dance floor was the place to be!! We had the best time at our friends wedding because the DJ (Joe) was so on top of what song to play next. We had been to multiple weddings that year and Joe was by far the very best!! We then used him at our wedding two weeks ago! Tad and Trina were amazing to work with, talk with and if we had any questions that responded within an hour!! Joe was amazing, we had a nice talk about what we were thinking for our wedding and man did he deliver! He had that dance floor poppin’ all night!!!!!!!! We can’t thank the whole team of AMS Events. It was by far the best experience we’ve had and we would use them again in a heart beat and highly recommended working with them. Thank you Tad, Trina and Joe!!!!!!!!

Comment: We used AMS for lighting, DJ and live guitarist. The guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour did an amazing job. He would play any song we gave him and it came out even better than I had expected. We had string lighting put up for the cocktail hour and it came out gorgeous. What I can’t stop raving about was our DJ Curly though. We asked for EDM and he totally made the night. Every song was a hit and our guests have not stopped telling us how this was the best reception they’ve been to. So happy we went with AMS. Tad and Trina were great to work with the whole time.

Curly did such a great job choosing the best songs from what we gave him, and some others we forgot. He timed the changes perfectly. Ive never seen my mom dance so much, she hates dancing. Prior to our wedding Tad and Trina communicated with us and even set up a meeting to meet us and figure out everything we were hoping to have at our wedding. Comment: AMS did a wonderful job providing entertainment for our end of the summer BBQ. The staff was easy to talk to and helped us create a custom package for a great price. During the event they were always on call if I needed anything, and the face painter and airbrush tattoo artist were wonderful young women and very good at their jobs. The EZ DJ system was a cinch to use, even for someone who is technically illiterate, and the event went flawlessly. I look forward to using AMS again for my next event!

Comment: We hired AMS for to provide both the music the lighting for our outdoor vineyard wedding in Santa Ynez, CA. Our DJ was Saul, and my husband and I couldnt have been happier with our DJ assignment. Saul is very experienced, professional, and poised. After our in-person meeting with him, he immediately got a sense of what kind of music my husband and I enjoy and the exact feel and ambiance we wanted our wedding to be like. Our guests all RAVED about our music selection throughout the reception. Thanks to Saul and AMS, our wedding night was perfect and I wouldnt have changed one thing about it.

Comment: My wife and I could not recommend AMS more for their lighting and DJ services. Our venue was Ocean View Farm and we had to completely light the space, including bathrooms, steps and a kitchen. The lighting was incredible and they absolutely went above and beyond and took care of the small details that were needed. Our DJ Jose was unbelievable. His attention to detail was great and we so appreciated his ability to keep the party going. Definitely ask for him when you book.
