Ive been coming here for twenty years. Some people talk about free advice -- When I had to change the locks on my house, Andy DROVE TO MY HOUSE and helped me do it with his equipment. Of course, that was after twenty years as a loyal customer, but you get the point. Friendly staff. If they dont have it theyll get it for you. You might save a nickel at Home Depot in Plainwell ... but youll pay ten times that in gasoline.
Ask for Paul! Amazingly smart and helpful. I needed schooling on how to use a pop-rivet gun and he was fantastic. Had everything I needed, including remedial educational and a free demo. What a great store!

They dont just point you in the right direction, but take you & ask questions to ensure you are not only getting what you came for, but what you will need. Love this place & highly recommend it!

Customer service above the norm.of customer service. It is good too that the two hardware stores work together. If one dont have it the other may and they will suggest that!. So Truevalue doesnt have it go to ACE if one has some of something and not enough get the rest at the other.

2022-06-12I used to love this Ace, but as of late, it seems the employees have gotten lazy and quite rude. They told my almost 70yo mother we are too busy to help, as the two men were standing around doing NOTHING w/less than 2 customers in the store.. This after being told on the phone, before driving all the way there, that someone would be there to help her out.I drove her to the other hardware store in town and they were more than happy to help her out. In and out in minutes...Ace has lost not only my business, but my respect as well.

2021-06-19Ive been going to this Ace for more than 30 years, I thought it was just about the best large, small town hardware you could ask for. When Andy purchased the store several years ago I thought that was all over, here comes another cold box store. Not so! Andy is GREAT! The selection is really quite extensive, for the most part the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Always my 1st choice. I highly recommend Andy and Andys Ace Hardware 👌 👍 👏
