Very clean, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They were very patient with my daughter and explaining things to her on the health side as well as the financial side. Theyre not the most price friendly place though, but I guess you get what you pay for (yikes on the pockets). We love our fur babies, and he seemed to have loved them back... as long as he didnt see a needle!! Lol
My nine year old Yorkie was having trouble standing and walking without falling down. My regular Vets office didnt have any appointments and werent very helpful so I called Animal Care Hospital of Livonia and got an appointment in no time. Everyone was so wonderful and really took care of my baby and reassured me and he got blood work, shots and we left with medicine. I want to thank Anaya because she could tell I was really upset when I got there and with her reassurance I left with my fur baby feeling better and I was feeling much much better. Thank you wonderful people at Animal Care Hospital of Livonia. You will be our regular clinic.
We have taken out German Shepard here twice now and each time she was treated with such compassion and care. The vet (Dr.Marty) is knowledgeable and makes it easy to understand and our tech most recently (Chantell) was so gentle and smart she made my puppy putty in her hands and was able to keep her so relaxed. This place is always cost effective and my favorite is that they can usually get us in same day (especially for emergencies). I keep telling people about them and it’s probably part of my fault that the downside is that they are a hidden gem people are starting to know about and most likely will need to expand asap!
I brought in my dachshund Lilly because she gotten an eye infection and the experience was very nice. The nurse and doctor that I talked to were very nice and friendly and took good care of my dog. They gave me some medicine and were very helpful. Thank you for helping my girl when she was in need!
I’m so thankful I chose this practice when I first adopted my cat because the staff always goes above and beyond! The assistants and receptionist are very welcoming and helpful. Shontell took the time to answer all my questions I had regarding my cats diet, she even went out of her way to ask her coworkers and the doctor their opinion.
Everyone here was fantastic. The staff is really nice and treated my dog exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet here. The vet was really knowledgeable and respectful towards me and my doggie. If you are looking for a vet or need emergency care for your pet, this is the place to go!!
I am so very happy a friend recommended Animal Care Hospital to me. My cat was attacked and had a very severe infection. They gave me an appointment immediately. I was so impressed with the Vet’s knowledge and the professionalism of both the vet and the staff. They treated my cat Bubba as their very own. They saved my Bubbas life! His surgery and post op care have been done with excellence. I also have to state the cleanliness of the facility is remarkable. I absolutely would recommend Animal Care Hospital to anyone with fur babies. Truly the best Vet Hospital I’ve ever been to!
Additional comment (9/10/22):Brought my kitten to this office late evening and they took me in right away. Tech Kayla took care of our kitten above and beyond! I’m so lucky to have this office for our kittens, as I love the way they treat them and the expert care they provide! Thanks once again!Got in fast thankfully! My 10 week old kitten was wheezing and not eating! The Dr diagnosed him, gave him antibiotics and vitamin B right away. Thank you! Will be sticking with this doc as our primary vet! Loved the tech Emily!!!Update: the next day, my kitten regained his appetite, was eating and drinking, and stopped wheezing. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I couldn’t have gotten that same day appt. Thanks again!!!
I took my dog to his appointment with my 13 year old daughter. I was told that my child has to sit in the car. Also that mask was mandatory. Which is insane in a animal hospital. I was told I wasn’t not going to be able to be seen because I ask them about why would my daughter have to sit in car. I will be calling the news.
I have been taking my animals here since they have been open. Almost a year ago my family got a new puppy and all of the vet techs there have been AMAZING! hank loves them and gets excited every time we come! They are very reasonable, I highly recommend animal care hospital!
The vet was very knowledgeable about a problem my German shepard had for a skin condition he has had for months. He ran multiple test to be sure we had a correct diagnosis: He is doing much better and his skin is clearing up nicely. Thank you doctor Mo and the vet tech Emily for taking your time to help.me out.
I brought my animal there in an extreme emergency and was told that we can’t help him here . As my dog lay dying in the exam room they hand me a piece of paper of other vets to take him to my dog died in the parking lot. I have never been treated so inhumanly in my life . If you call yourself a veterinarian you should be able to handle all events I pray this never happens to anyone else.
My expirienncy was really good, even with my broken English, Emily took all my questions an gave me an answer days later (because it is what it was going to take) she not only try to understand all my questions but to assure me a solution. At the moment of my appointment even when Emily was not at the vet office Anaya had all the information to cover the special needs for my dog. Highly recommended this vet option.
Our mini doxin was gnawing at himself until he was bleeding. Our normal vet couldn’t get him in to be seen for almost one week. We called animal care hospital and they got us in the next day. Chantell was so kind to our doxie and also so experienced and informative. Being a first time patient there, she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We are so happy with this experience given our dogs uncomfortable situation and are planning on switching to make this our new vet. Thank you so much Chantell!
Everyone here is great! I recently brought my dog, Rickles, in to get his junk chopped off. The beautiful and friendly staff are welcoming and well-organized. They are very knowledgeable, and clearly know what they are doing, because after explaining the process and doing the preparatory exam, I had absolutely no questions. I was not the least bit apprehensive about leaving my lil Dumpster Mutt in their care. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, and how quickly they expedited the process, right from the first phone call. The surgery went perfectly, and my pup is doing great, even though he probably feels slightly less masculine. I would definitely recommend Animal Care Hospital to anybody that really loves their pets!
Recently I had to euthanize my oldest dog, and as many of you might know, that is an extremely stressful and emotional time. Dr. J and staff gave us all the time we needed to say our last goodbyes and made sure that our “little mans” last moments where comfortable and full of love. This was not our first time going through this with one of our fur babies, but it was the first time we felt like the doctor and staff where there for us, truly cared, and not just trying to rush us in and out the door. Because of this experience, Dr. J and staff will always have our trust in taking care of our dogs (Our family).
I had a GREAT experience at the Animal Care Hospital of Livonia!! They saw me last minute and were beyond Kind and loving to my pup! He’s 7 months old and although loving, he can be super reactive and can nervous, but they handled him so well!! He seemed as at ease as he could be. They worked with my budget and gave me options, I couldn’t be more grateful for them and the care they showed us today! And I do mean US! They were supportive and understanding of my nervousness, anxiety, and concern of cost. Henry and I will definitely be back!
My family has been taking our pets to Animal Care Hospital of Livonia ever since they opened. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so.I recently had two experiences worth noting. My son’s cat developed urinary crystals. Dr. Mo explained the condition, prescribed treatment (including diet,) and the cat has been healthy ever since. This past week my dog contracted leptospirosis. Once again Dr. Mo provided education, a treatment plan and reassurance. We were treated with kindness and respect by the entire staff. Thank you all so much!
MY Three cats and a Chihuahua found a new home at this veterinarian hospital , love Dr MO .He did not care that I had multiple animals that came in at the same time. Ari my scared-y-cat found himself a new human girlfriend :) named Marie . I had a vet i was going to before however they would not be able to do all my animals vaccines at the same time they wanted me to wait until March. Not at this clinic Dr. Mo and Marie with the help of their friendly staff made us an appointment and the coast of all the vaccines for all 4 of my animals and prevention was less then at my original vet .
When our normal vet was too busy to take us in Animal Care was there. Since then, I have had multiple great experiences. What I appreciate the most is that the Dr & staff were incredibly SUPPORTIVE when our cat had been injured. They were compassionate with me while I struggled with guilt over our family budget & desire to give the best to my fur baby. I appreciate that I was given options of care & educated on the impact of each in the quality of life for my kitty. Never did I feel shame or pressure in making this difficult decision.
My dog had a swelling on her foot with drainage. My vet couldnt see me for a week. I called Animal Care and they got me in the same day. Everyone was wonderful. My dog got allergy medicine and antibiotics so she can feel better soon. Glad she didnt have to wait a week. Dr. and all staff were great. Thanks Chantell.
The amount of thanks that i have for the staff and dr here is unreal. I had my dog bitten through my fence from another dog late last night and had another appointment with a different vet earlier today already for her to get shots. Needless to say before i got done telling the staff here my story they told me to come right in. My fiancé got approved for care credit and they worked with us on the pricing. On top of that the amount of love and respect the staff had towards not only the animals but there owners too made my day a lot better. I love that Abby could put a smile on your guys faces because you just got a patient for life!
Amazing service and sure a caring group of people!!! I have 2 dogs that needed treatment the same week. They got them in so quick and were so caring about their health issues. I am disabled and the ladies were so kind to help me get them from my car inside and also assisted me as well. The vet understood my financial hardships and gave me multiple options for treatment. Both dogs are already feeling so much better
From the moment I spoke with the receptionist over the phone, until the moment I walked out the door, I felt like these were the l people that I wanted to care for my pet relatives. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go over and beyond are the vibes. They checked for things that I didn’t even request. This place is full of people that put the care of animals above money. (but they do wanna get paid lol) With that being said, I couldn’t be more satisfied. They’re definitely my new primary vet.
Called in for a emergency, was asked to be there in 15 mins, showed up in 5 mins. Was told to wait they would call me in. Waited in parking lot for 40 mins, just for them to send me away. My dog is having a severe reaction, is swollen and broken out in hives, and they say they cant do anything now.
I took my dog there when he was feeling ill. After the exam the vet listed his conditions. It didnt sound great, but he recommended pain medicine and antibiotics, both at the office and prescriptions to take home. This totaled over $340. My dog died 38 hours later and was still in pain to the end. I would have really appreciated an honest assessment so I could have put him down with out so much suffering. I think they gave me that diagnosis because it cost over 2 times the amount of euthanasia. Truly shameful!
Extremely poor customer service! The vet techs at this facility are extremely rude, extremely unprofessional, and are not compassionate about their jobs. The Vet techs themselves are very unorganized and do not know their daily schedules, or records of your previous visit. They will come in after you being there multiple times and call your pet by a completely different gender (you’d know this if you looked at the past medical record). I used this vet for about 7 months and the veterinarian himself was great. He was attentive to my pet and would call me himself with results. But anytime a Vet Tech was involved it was a complete mess. Marie/Maria, who is a Vet Tech at this location, is the utmost rudest and most unprofessional/unorganized individual I have ever ran into at a office. If the veterinarians know what’s good for them, they would clean the office out and get a new Vet Tech and receptionist staff.
I really recommend this clinic because right when I made it they let me in and then took my pet and helped it as fast as they could. Everyone there were all so respectful, kind, and helpful. I also really like this clinic because my pet was dying and they saved its life. Best clinic.
We use to use this vet for both our pets and never had an issue. in the past few months there seemed to be a change in staff and vets? (Unsure I wasnt the one who took him in)We took our cat in for bumps (2nd time at this vet for same situation) we got a completely different diagnosis that made no sense (compared to the first) and charged about $300 for medicine that did absolutely nothing for our cat. Weve switched vets since and got a real diagnosis and medicine that cost us under $50. Definitely felt like we were rushed through the appointment, and definitely ripped off...
6 months ago, my dog began whining and shaking in pain, wouldn’t drink or eat or jump onto our bed. Upon calling several vets who couldn’t squeeze him in on a Saturday my last call was to Animal Care Hospital before having to go to an emergency vet. They said we could come right in. The entire staff were so welcoming, cheerful, kind, caring and beyond sweet. They quickly addressed my Logan’s issues, went over their recommendations and he came home wagging his tail and immediately ate and drank and was feeling better. My husband and I are so very thankful we found a new vet and staff who not only we feel comfortable with but also Logan! Thank you so much for getting us in last minute. We couldnt recommend them more!Update six months later: Our Logan began coughing and hacking like something was stuck in his throat. Animal Care Hospital came to our rescue yet again getting him in same day without hesitation.Every test was ran and he was diagnosed quickly and accurately and is recovering beautifully. They went above and beyond to help us be able to afford his treatment during these tough times. They are truly life savers! I’ve been to several vets over the last 25 years and I’ve never had a team help us like that.
This is a great vet clinic! Dr. Mo is friendly and professions. Kathren is PHENOMENAL!!! Kathren always ensures that my puppy is taken care and answers all of my questions. Kathren treats me and my puppy like we are family! By far, the best care that I have ever had at a vet! I have a 6 month old puppy and I would not consider going elsewhere. They are friendly, fast, and actually care about my puppy. They are prompt with appointments and always prompt with answering questions over the phone. I have had to call for emergency questions and the staff always provides information and gives recommendations/advice when necessary over the phone. They are quick to schedule us for an appt when needed. The office supplies all things that I need for my puppys care (e.g. heartworm and flea preventative, ear cleaning solution, etc.). Overall, this vet hospital clinic provides comprehensive care. The office is extremely clean, the exam rooms are clean and spacious. They are competitive with pricing. AND the best part is that throughout the pandemic, they have been accommodating and understanding with allowing me to be a part of my puppys care. This speaks to the type of vet hospital clinic that they are - simply the best!
The office manager is the most disgusting woman I have ever come across in the “service” industry. I feel awful for her poor employees. She does not deserve to work with animals, much less flip a burger. My children witnessed their puppy get hit by a car on this street that this clinic is on. They took him in while he was still alive, my little girl in tears screaming for help. Begging them “please don’t let him die” They were told to leave the clinic and nobody would even look at our puppy. Today, I went in to ask why they were turned away. I was looking for answers, upset yes, OUR DOG JUST DIED- and instead of providing answers the “office manager” was confrontational from the very beginning. She was screaming at me to leave her office, told me there wasn’t a doctor there that day (or today)- I wonder if a real doctor is there at all?!??! Her employees had no answers- likely knew our dog should have been seen. The “office manager” nearly shoved me out of the lobby door, at one point standing within inches of my chest with her seething smokers breath! For a company to say they provide services to animals yet refuse even to be kind to children who just witnessed their dog being struck by a car is a far cry from service. The office manager should be fired! She has ZERO professionalism, empathy or even a calm to her. I wouldn’t take a wounded alley rat to this facility!!!
Went to the Joy location and had just about the worst experience of my life. The staff was rude, judgmental, and extremely unprofessional. Owning a larger and reactive dog makes going to the vet even more stressful, and the staff did nothing to alleviate any of that. Having explained that dog recently became my responsibility and that he was not used to going to the vet and reacted aggressively when hurt or scared, I felt extremely judged and written off. After the vet carelessly used a flea comb on one of my dogs open wounds, he was then surprised that he reacted aggressively and jumped across the room, terrified and acting as though he had never worked with a reactive dog before. I profusely apologized to him and thanked him for helping me to which he responded one time as he was leaving with a yeah. He did not examine any of the problem areas I brought up to him before diagnosing him with allergies and saying the best bet was some medicine and then a 15lb $90 bag of dog food for my 92lb German Shepard. Could not recommend this place less.UPDATE:Not only did this clinic call me and offer me a 20% discount on service to take my review down, they are now trying to deny having seen me. I have the receipt from my treatment at your facility, and could probably find evidence of your clinics phone call to me. Lying is an incredibly bad look. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE
My poor fur baby needed to be seen asap, my vet did not have a doctor in the office so I called Animal Care Hospital of Livonia and they were amazing!! They took us in immediately! Marie was absolutely amazing with my scared little poochon Gracie and Dr. Jay was excellent at quickly diagnosing her and offering solutions to her problems. Marie then explained all the care instructions and was very knowledgeable and sweet! I highly recommend! Your fur babies will be taken care off with love! No high pressure sales either!! Happy to have found my new Vet clinic!!
I recently switched vets because my old vet got too busy and started to feel very robotic. my mother found animal care hospital of livonia and i tried them out so far i have taken 2 of my 4 pets there and absolutely love them i really feel like they love my animals just like they are their own i cant wait to really get to know everyone there. I also went with my brother to unfortunately put his dog to sleep due to cancer they were very gentle and caring of our needs and the dogs needs. After that visit my mother in law had to put her dog down due to old age and we got the same treatment very gentle and caring. I absolutely love them and i am recommending them to everyone i know
Dr. J and team are wonderful. We adopted our dog last year and went to this clinic just to have her looked over. They were genuinely excited for us and it felt more like I was visiting friends. Not only was the check up efficient, they also took a moment to teach me how to do some things on my own. Since then Ive been back to pick up refills on preventive medication and the service is still consistent.
Id like to thank the staff at animal care hospital of livonia for taking great care of my cat mini. I didnt have an appointment as this was an emergency. They were very busy but still assured me that my cat would be taken care of. Dr J was great. His love for animals is very obvious. He treated my cat as if it was his own. This place was there for me when we needed them, unlike my usual vet who couldnt fit us in. The rates were very affordable and they didnt make us wait very long even without an appointment. This will be our new vet from now on. Great job Animal Care hospital of Livonia!!!
This place is a complete joke. “Emergency vet” yet refused to see our 1 year old puppy who was hit by a car. The lady or “office manager” is a disgusting lady, she refused to see our dog who was hit by a car, then almost fought my mom. She should be no where near animals let alone humans.Only took 3 months since I posted this review for the owner to start replying to these reviews. The “owner” of this page is going to all of the BAD reviews saying we’ve never seen the inside of this place to make themselves feel better about the horrible services they provide to pets. Again, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE.
I strongly caution anyone to AVOID this place! The way this place operates is disgraceful! Poor handling of animals and not even enough respect to help me understand the situation that my pet is going through and on top of this mess the way I heard on of the staff members talk to her co-worker was very unprofessional and extremely off putting... I am certainly going to be finding a vets office where I feel my pet will get the best care which unfortunately he will not be getting from this place.
DO NOT bring your pets here for any medical emergency. Two children came to this facility after their puppy had been struck by a car. Thankfully, a by-standing woman assisted them, wrapped the puppy up, and rushed them all to this animal hospital. When they arrived, the kind woman took him inside while one of the children was balling her eyes out begging for them to not let this puppy die. They WERE TOLD TO LEAVE BY THE OFFICE MANAGER AND TOLD THAT THERES NO DR THERE AND THEY CANT HELP THEM and made them leave! No comfort offered to these poor kids, no assistance in contacting perhaps another facility who HAS doctors that could help. Who SCREAMS AT and sends crying children with a severely injured animal out to the street!? No consoling or offering of any type of assistance. I understand if there were no doctors available and they were limited to help, but to SCREAM at crying children and kick them out of the facility with an injured/dying pet? Where is the compassion? Or even common sense to do SOMETHING? Make a call, or refer them to another facility who COULD accommodate an emergent situation. They dont have any back up protocols for when emergencies happen when doctors arent available? How can you even call yourselves an animal HOSPITAL?So anyways... the childrens mother went there today to simply find out what happened and hopefully get some answers. Mind you she is the sweetest kindest person ever. The SAME OFFICE MANAGER started screaming at her to leave as well! Something seriously needs to be done about the incredible lack of humanity from the staff here. It is beyond cruel to treat any child or animal this way. I really hope and pray that any future emergencies are not handled this way. My heart breaks for these kids and their puppy (who didnt make it).
Can’t say enough good things about this vet. Each visit has been a great experience. The staff is fantastic and the doctor is amazing. Had to put our boxer down a few months back and they treated her so well. The staff here really understands how difficult a time that is and handled it like true professionals. They have been just as great with our new puppy. We highly recommend them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wish there was an option to leave no stars. this place does not deserve care in their title, let alone should not be allowed to be a place for emergencies. the employees leave me in disgust, they turned away CHILDREN holding their STILL ALIVE puppy who had just got hit by a car down the street. poor puppy might have had another chance at life if it wasnt for these disgusting people that have the audacity to work in an environment they should not be in. they do not deserve to work with animals, or work in customer service for that matter, they do not have respect for humans either. even if they were not able to help this puppy, they did not need to be so cruel and disrespectful. they could have directed them elsewhere and been kind. it could have went so many different BETTER ways then what actually happened. nonetheless, they could have shown some compassion and empathy to CHILDREN. this place needs to be out of business or they need to fire some employees that do not deserve to work there, because situations like this should not be happening. i still cannot wrap my head around what happened. i am just beyond disgusted to say the least.
My dog has been a patient there since he was a puppy (about a year). He ingested a large amount of liquid vitamin D3 supplement, which is poisonous to dogs.So naturally, I decide to call his Vet. The woman that answered the phone was so unprofessional, unconcerned and unhelpful. She said “uh call poison control”. I asked her for the number. She said she didn’t have it and that I should look it up on google. I made sure to clarify that she didn’t have the number she was referring me to call. I told her there were multiple results for poison control, and she said “just call poison control”. Before I hung up I said “okay, thanks for your help” To which she replied unenthusiastically “yup”.So I called poison control. After being on hold for 5 minutes, poison control informed me that they don’t handle dogs and to call a vet for guidance. So I called a different vet and they were super helpful and provided the number to two different animal poison control resources and said to bring him in right away if he was having certain symptoms. When you believe your pet might be poisoned, your first instinct should be to call their vet. Pretty sad that not only would they not help, but they made me go through a bunch of unnecessary steps when I was in a panic about my pet being harmed.Terrible, unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. I will definitely be finding a new vet.
Initially my experience with Animal Care Hospital of Livonia was a positive one. The veterinarian and staff were caring, friendly and welcoming. I brought my other cat there for her vaccinations and all was good. I took in a little homeless cat in November, brought her to Animal Care Hospital of Livonia because her long hair coat was a complete mess, matted, beyond brushing. I scheduled an appointment with Doris that same day and brought her in to be groomed. My baby was completely fine and healthy until the day after. She began sneezing with runny eyes and nose. I called and explained that my cat got some sort of virus from being there. Needless to say, I am not happy about spending $350. there and my cat getting sick.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! They treat us like family, and are so kind, professional and trustworthy. There have been a few times where I have called with questions/concerns and they are always happy to give me advice and guidance over the phone without having to make an appointment to come in. We love Animal Care Hospital of Livonia, there really are the best and I always recommend them to everyone!
Kirby, my orange tabby cat, was extremely sick, acting funny and not eating or drinking. They were able to get me in the day after calling them and were extremely thorough with everything. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest answers
One of our three dogs had a urinary tract infection make a long story short the girls were very nice the doctor even came in and talked to me explain a couple things to me about maybe the diet and different things what were going to do very helpful definitely going back for sure and would highly recommend them the pricing was not bad they just generally seem like they care about your animal and not trying to put on a show. And when everybody else was telling us like a month wait they got to send before the weekend was over. Just a FYI amoxicillin and some cranberry supplement granules not the UTI out thanks doc!! I appreciate it! A big thank you to all the professionals
It’s very unfortunate this place is still open. They can’t keep a consistent doctor around. It has went down hill since covid started. They are rude, overpriced and only allow 1 person in at a time even if it’s for euthanasia or seriously ill animal. They don’t care at all. They will leave you on hold for 5-10 minutes while they stand around and talk to each other. they don’t accommodate animals needs and they try to do the bare minimum when it comes to animals treatment and care. I would never take another animal here again.
Worst animal care place EVER. The lady doctor should not be in charge at ALL of taking care of our animals. She should be ashamed of herself. Sending everyone away and telling them to get out instead of taking care of them the best way she can. She should be fired if you ask me.
I usually end up waiting for 45 minutes to an hour after my appointment time to be allowed inside the building because they are always running behind and they no longer offer basic services like nail trims. Rude and unprofessional staff. Highly disappointed in the service.
I had to bring my cat here with an emergency and due to the whole virus going around my regular vet was unable to see him. This place is WONDERFUL. They were so good to my Gizmo, Marie was so sweet and really showed me the compassion and love that me and Gizmo needed at the time. I really appreciate Marie and everyone that has worked and helped my cat Gizmo feel better! Thank you Marie and team!
Completely disgusted and saddened! This is an ANIMAL CARE HOSPITAL who turned away a young dog who was hit near this pet hospital, he was still alive, was told to leave that they couldnt help them. No direction on where to take him, absolutely zero empathy. He may have survived if was taken in and given some kind of help or at the very least was directed to someone who could have tried to save him. This little girl who rushed in with her family and dog in her arms hoping to try and save him will be scarred for life feeling helpless.
My Dog had an Emergency and I called my Vet for some advice... and Marie answered the phone. They said she was the General Manager and she was Very Rude. After asking to speak with another staff member, she put me on hold and said that they were booked! I asked for her Name... she refused then I asked to speak with the Veterinarian who was working and she declined that as well. If you cant call your Vet and get advice how can u trust them to take care of them. True enough I have experienced good customer service from both Chantell and Danni, but the experience I had today with the GM was unacceptable. I will NOT be taking My Pet Back! I left my contact information and we shall see if I get a return back from the higher authority
I moved to Livonia recently and have multiple fur babes. My first experience was back in May and unfortunately had to put our 10 pup down. The second, was recently when we opted to get 2 suspicious lumps off of our cat Wally. Wow. Dr J, Kayla, Anna and crew were absolutely amazing. I will never go anywhere else, even if I move out of the area. Dr J called me personally each time to ensure the animals or us were OK. I have been with a few other vets in the past and again WOW is all I have to say. They go above and beyond with service, consideration of your time and making everyone feel welcome and comfortable during those anxious moments. Thanks so much Dr J and crew! Sincerely Lauren C, Anna, Mackie, Wally, AJ, Maggie and Lady (rip).
The nursing staff was very kind and well educated with my dog Phoenix. The doctor on the other hand was very rude. Without any sort of analisys told us our dog was going to die, flat out. He did not even introduce himself to me, i had to call and ask and at this point all I know him by is Dr. J. In my opinion the nurse staff deserve a better doctor to associate with. This is all such a shame since it is within walking distance of my house. I was able to find another vet with much better pricing and a much friendlier doctor.
When I say this vet and his staff go above and beyond I mean just that. Back in june I rescued a German sheperd named Ryker. When Ryker was found he had 40+ ticks on him and a limp in his right leg. I called over 15 vets as I knew he was going to need to be seen ASAP. I contacted katheryn whom works at this office and she got us in the very next day!! Dr. Mo seen Ryker and immediately got to work on his case. He left no stone unturned with Rykers care. Ryker has been into the office several times. Marie whom manages the office has taken special care with Ryker and has even developed a very special bond with my baby boy. Ryker has not only found a new home but has truly found a family. This vet and his staff are top of the line and truly love the aminals they care for.
Took my puppy there who was teething and they tested her not once but twice and said she had parvo made me go to 3 locations to charge me over $1000 on my credit card and give my pup treatment she didnt even need.ZERO STARS.😡 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!They made me cry telling me she was dying just to rob me!DR.JAWAD AND STAFF are THIEVES
Took my dog there and we all loved it. Marie and all her girls were amazing with my dog as well as Dr.Mo they have a client for life! Spoiled my dog with kisses while he was there. Great pricing as well and they arent pushy to upsell like some other places ive been to. 🐾🐶 Got us in, in a timely fashion as well as i know many place are booked out months in advance. You cant go wrong bring your babies here.
I bring all my pets to Animal Care Hospital -Livonia the staff and the doctor are Beyond professional! I have and older yellow lab mix that now has thyroid issues and management is always very kind and courteous when answering any my questions about his bloodwork, test results etc.. I’ve also had all my surgeries done at this location from spaying, to neutering, to dental work on my 10-year-old lab.. The manager there always make sure that I am completely comfortable and properly informed of any procedures that are being performed. She’s very professional she seems to go above and beyond to make sure her clients are comfortable and happy. Also the next day when she has calls to check up on my animal she is truly sincere and concerned of the well-being of my babies.. The fact that the staff calls me after my animals are awake from surgery and let me know the status of how my babies are doing really puts me at peace of mind! THANKS YOU for all that you guys do at animal care Hospital of Livonia💗
This is a great place to take your pets.My dog has been there for his shots and other minor things. The staff is wonderful. The exam fee is very reasonable and the Dr. does not do unnecessary x-rays or anything unless he really thinks its needed. I will only go here for my vet care needs.
I enjoyed this vet at first but I wouldn’t come here for large breed dogs. I have a large breed puppy and vet didn’t seem to understand why I wanted to wait until my pup was a year old to get him neutered and argued with me about it. He didn’t seem like he had good knowledge of large breeds. I ended up going elsewhere for care.
Omg Im so sorry. The feedback I originally left was for a thrift store I went to the other night.Your facility is the best Ive been to. Your Dr. Is awesome and always takes care of my little fur babies♥️Ive been a customer for over a year now and will continue to come to your facility. My animals like you guys too♥️5 star all the way!!!
Dr.J, Courtney and Kristie are AMAZING! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Pete, Bella and Joe! Our first visit couldn’t have gone any better. I greatly appreciate the time all of you took to get to know my Trio! Very knowledgeable staff with a beautiful office! I highly recommend these wonderful people.
The staff at Animal Care Hospital of Livonia really blew me away. I brought my cat Riley in, but sadly he was too sick to be treated. However, the staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful and respectful of the difficulty in making such decisions. I appreciate the gentle way they treated us and Riley in his final moments. Thank you
Vet was fine. The tech did not clip my cats nails as we paid for, as was proven to us 2 days later by our groomer who actually cut her nails. Make sure you check your pet before you leave because I called to inform them and they did nothing and offered nothing Buyer Beware with our feline children?!
I called on Saturday morning and was able to get my dog, Paco in at 4 pm! I met a nice doctor named Dr mo and he was extremely knowledgeable. Im waiting on my taxes and my funds are tight right now. He even worked with me and my budget. THE DOCTOR AND STAFF DEFIANTLY WON ME OVER. Paco has a vet for life.....
Visiting Animal Care Hospital of Livonia was like taking my dog to visit family with veterinary skills. Dr. J, Tiffany and Courtney were so good to my lab Roxy; compassionate, understanding and they made me feel welcome and understood. As yall know going to the vet is stressful enough- thank you all for your genuine care. I highly recommend.
They have amazing prices. I called my now former vet to schedule an appointment for my minpin. For a distemper and rabies shot alone 153.00. Here I got both shots, nails trimmed, a heartworm test and a six month supply of flea/heartworm treatment for 157.00. The staff was attentive and kind needless to say I now have a new vet.
Dont allow Dr. Karim Jawad to treat any pets with eye issues!Because he did not properly examine my dogs eye and prescribed the wrong medicine she has to have her eye removed!! You would think the clinic would cover the cost of the removal since the doctor admitted his mistake but they refused. My recommendation is to take your pet somewhere else.
Called in hopes of bringing my dog in as our current vet closed at noon. I had to repeat 4 times what was wrong with my dog. The lady who claimed to be the office manager was not listening and had an attitude and arrogance about her. After I explained my frustration on having to repeat myself 4 times and asked if we can get the dog in because we didn’t know what was wrong she continued to give attitude.
I have been searching for a new vet...after getting a flyer in my circular i took my 4 year old pit in for shots. The staff and doctors were very knowledgeable not only about medications and care for my pup...but also went above and beyond with some suggestions on how to help my pup with a little behavior issues!!! Thank u guys!! We will def be back!
I would never take any animal here. My daughter took their dog here today that was dying having been previously diagnosed with an illness. The vet and I use the term lightly was rude and VERY unprofessional. Though the dog was dying he gave the dog an antibiotic, tried to convince the kids to have blood work and was very uncaring. They were NEVER given options on euthanasia considering the dog was 13, had muscle degeneration, esophagus issues, labored breathing and a very slow heart rate! My daughter and son-in-law took the dog home and in less than 10 minutes the dog died. I believe this vet needs his license revoked for practicing medicine on animals. This vet was out for money only not compassionate at all not was the staff!
A unlicensed women ended up declawing my cat here! Found out she did it through people who witnessed it her name was Doris! She is not licensed for any kind of surgeries! Be careful! The people here are unprofessional! No one knew what they were doing when we brought our pet here... not very clean. When animals are boarded here they are not taken out they have multipile locations like pet care clinic in Lincoln park and more!

2022-02-07I have taken my kittens here for their vaccines and when they were sick. Both the techs and vet were very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and nice. Most importantly, they treated my kittens like their own. I am happy with my experience overall!

2022-06-20My senior dog accidentally busted his toenail completely off, I acted quickly to stop the bleeding at home but wanted to make sure infection wouldn’t occur so I called Animal Care Hospital of Livonia. They were able to get us in right away and address the situation (when I say right away, I mean within 15 minutes of me calling and driving there!). After a quick assessment, I found out that luckily he didn’t need any surgery, just pain meds, a cone, antibiotics and antiseptic spray for his foot. Everyone there was welcoming and I’m grateful they were able to see him so quickly. He seems to be healing up nicely, we have a follow up appointment tomorrow to see how his toe is doing. Thank you!UPDATE: 6/20/22We went in for his follow up appointment this morning, he was greeted by 3 people that work there with smiles and a great big “Hi Harvey!” when we walked through the door. Happy to say that everything looks great with his toe/toenail. Want to give a big thank you to everyone at the Animal Care Hospital of Livonia for handling Harvey so well.

2022-06-16I was very thankful they could take my cat in last minute today when so many, including my regular vet could not. My 15 year old cat had rapidly gone down hill and we thought she was close to leaving us. They were very kind and thorough and told me what my different options were going forward. We just have to see what the lab work tells us.Thank-you.

2022-05-31Highly recommend this vet I’ve taken my pup pepper to this vet every time she has any issues and since she was just a lil fluff ball, they are extremely nice and helpful my dog has a attitude against other dogs and she was perfectly kind with the workers here! They took care of me and my dog very well I definitely recommend this place prices are high but the quality of care is way more worth it!

2022-09-06Animal Care Hospital is absolutely amazing! I found a stray and needed to get her caught up on vaccines, blood work drawn, etc. They were able to get us in the same day! Thankfully, we were able to keep the cat! They were super kind and very transparent on pricing. We were specifically working with Kayla, and she was so so nice! I cant recommend this place enough!

2022-08-20My grown pup and I were astounded at the attention and treatment provided to us. Since He’s been on meds we’ve witnessed excellent improvement within a few days. Note: Allergies are miserable! So, I finally chose to get an food allergy test done. My pup-baby is no longer suffering from his allergies. Currently adjusting meals, snacks to keep him a healthier champ! Thanks, Dr. Mart and Chantelle!

2022-08-22My dog had a pink eye problem and this was the only place that could fit me in on a same day appointment after my current vet declined my services due to not accepting this type of medical treatment. They were extremely helpful, mindful, eager to help my pup and get her the help she needed. They gave me great advice and insight on how to move forward. They were all super nice inside, seemed like a nice close-knit family in that facility which made it feel like a great & safe place to bring my animals. Thanks everybody!
