We go about 30 times a year, slightly fewer during COVID. A must for foodies of all stripes. They have a no dogs policy (except service), highly accessible, diverse local providers, and crafts on Sundays and during the winter. An Ann Arbor instution. It is often crowded even early during conventional times. If choice is important to you, come early on Saturdays.
It was a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of the direction they want you to go, then its fine. I thought there would be more farmers and the ones who were there had limited choices and quantities. All this is very understandable given the circumstances. All in all, its so nice to be able to shop from our local farms and support them as best as possible, with every opportunity presented.
It is a good place to go for produce, but its a little overpriced for fruits and vegetables. But it is nice to get fresh seasonal stuff. The donuts and cider place is pretty good. Theres also butchers and fish mongers and some a tamale place too. Theres a good variety of things, so its worth a stop. Sundays there is an artisan market.
Ive been going to the farmers market for the past 20 years. I used to go every week with my mom as a child and still return frequently as an adult. Wonderful fresh produce, all the vendors are friendly and knowledgeable. The market goes way past produce, you can also find honey stalls, freshly baked breads pastries, smoked fish and meats, beautiful flowers (potted and cut) herbs and olive oils, and arts and and crafts!
In the summer/fall seasons, this place has such a huge variety of stuff! Its nice to stroll through the stalls on Wednesday mornings, pick up a donut, and pick up some fresh produce for dinner. Such a lovely staple of Ann Arbors community. The plethora of people with dogs is a bonus.
Fantastic place to visit on Saturdays for produce, fresh cheese, meats, baked goods, eggs, and potted plants. Its a wonderful variety, and all of the vendors are very friendly. Some even offer free samples. Its a hot destination for Kerrytown on Saturday morning, so expect crowds around noontime. All around a great way to mingle with the Ann Arbor crowd and get local produce, for a reasonable price, too.
The vendors are who make it great.. You can tell they use their hearts in the products. The people who support local businesses and the vendors are apparently very loyal and that is nice to see! I like how you can find fresh produce that is catered to the Asian market. I think being able to get produce You are used to back home has a certain comfort only food can provide. What is best to see is the Positive interaction between different cultures. If You are in Ann Arbor stop by. They are doing everything to stay safe during the current times.
Wonderful to see the community rally together to support local growers. The market is beautiful particularly in spring, with most vendors selling all kinds of herbs, plants and flowers. There are always vendors who sell pastries or savory baked goods to snack on while you wander. The food truck rallies that are held on Wednesdays in the summer are also particularly exciting if you enjoy trying different foods.
We walked through here on Saturday 3/3/18I was really surprised how many booth were set up. We had a great time walking through here. Everyone was super friendly. We got some sourdough bread, jam, and maple syrup cotton candy!!! Can you believe that...Maple Cotton Candy!! It was so good!!! The jam was not that great. But the bread was really good!! Wish I could remember the name of the stands, so I could give a shout out but I can not. I am excited to go back in the summer!
Several long-standing as well as new organic farmers with all kinds of produce. Gluten free baked goods, sauerkraut and other brined vegetables to stimulate your inner economy, wizards, excellent locally roasted coffee, maple syrup, friends new and old. Whats not to like? When someone says The Farmers Market in The Narbs, they mean this one.
Good variety local growers and goods. Not a great overall design, gets crowded and the linear approach is awkward. Also a bit confining. The roof overhead is functionally practical, but cramps the overall character. Not the friendliest farmers market. Overall practical, functional but nothing special.

2021-06-30That Ann Arbor Farmers Market is one of the best in Michigan, in my opinion. There is a huge selection of vendors with many different products ranging from produce, flowers, lotions and soaps, jewelry, and much more! Ive bought a ton of things from there and have always been satisfied with the price and quality. Another bonus is that its open year around and there are always vendors - even during winter. Here is a picture of a hydrangea I bought this year from one of the stalls. It was only $15!

2019-06-07One of the must have done in Ann Arbor. Not only the standard farmers market on Saturday and Wednesday... but any of the other ones proposed all year long.It is such a nice place to hang out. The fact that it is covered make it enjoyable with any weather. The variety of vendors make it easy to find good produce. As a French, I am always looking for bread and patisserie. So many good choice, but white lotus won my heart.

2021-07-14Farmers markets are the best places to buy the freshest local fruits, veggies, flowers, baked goods, honey, coffee and more. The Ann Arbor Farmers Market has just that. Plus its open all year so local products are available when you need them anytime of the year! Also, several vendors take credit/debit cards for payment. Just ask!
