Comment: I got my brand new washer and had 48h to report any issues which I did 2 h after receiving my delivery. LG did provide my repair information to Appliance Plus. They took over 2.5 weeks to give me a call to get scheduled. The lady on the phone was like “do you still need repair?” . Are you kidding me. It is seriously the worst company handling appliances repairs I have ever seen. A shame. Your Customer service sucks.

Comment: Recently we bought a LG refrigerator and the ice maker did not work. Our dealer scheduled us with Appliance Center Plus for repair. We wound up requiring two visits to resolve the problem. Both times, the appointment was scheduled quickly, we were given a two hour window, and the technician called ten minutes prior to his arrival. Tom was professional, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend this business.

Comment: In the last 6 months I’ve had to switch out my ice maker 3 different times. First 2 times with a different appliance service company, last 3 visits with Matt, from Appliance Service Plus. All the other techs just mentioned that my Samsung was notorious for having a faulty ice maker & replaced it, sometimes after weeks of “waiting” on the part, that was it. Well 3rd time around Appliance Service Plus was sent out & right away before the tech (Matt) even showed up, just from speaking to me on the phone less than 5 minutes, knew exactly what I was dealing with. He took the time to explain to me what was going on & was as helpful as he possibly could be to help me once & for all fix the issue. He’s come out to my house 3 different times & each time hes done his best to give me as much information possible & actually fix the issue not just replacing the ice maker over & over again… & call it a day. It’s been a VERY FRUSTRATING couple of months dealing with this. It’s nice to know there’s still people/companies out there, that are looking out for their clients, not just trying to get an easy payout. Matt was the perfect example of that.

First time was the ice maker and water dispenser in our refrigerator and this second time was our dryer. I called Appliance services Plus and they immediately set an appointment for the very next day and he came out within the time frame they allotted us. He was very pleasant and professional and fixed our issue with our dryer within 20 minutes.

Comment: Their appliance technicians are fantastic, but after dealing with an extremely detailed repair/replacement for an LG appliance, Appliance Service Pros demanded the replacement parts back that were ordered as they weren’t used (due to a replacement of the broken appliance), whilst LG Warranty Department also demanded the parts back. I then immediately put Appliance Service Pros in copy on an email directed to LG Warranty Department to get clear communication between all parties involved as to how to handle the return of the parts, & Appliance Service Pros refused to reply to the e-mail & demanded that I pay for the parts because I didnt initially allow them to pick them up while I waited to hear back from the LG Warranty Department for instructions on how to proceed, which I clearly communicated to multiple Appliance Service Pros employees whom had previously been assisting me with the service for my warrantied repair. Days pass with no response, so I again called directly to the office of Appliance Service Pros, and spoke with several employees multiple times as I wanted to confirm that they had corresponded with LG Warranty Department to figure out as to what to do exactly with the unused parts (as it had been well over a weeks time by now) & again I was told that they don’t know what is to happen with the parts, & that I needed to contact LG Warranty Department directly- meanwhile Appliance Service Pros are/were in constant communication with LG Warranty Department as I later found out per a LG Warranty Department representative whom told me to simply reach out to Appliance Service Plus & that they would give me the disposition. Very disappointing that Appliance Service Pros fail to communicate as to what exact disposition the parts needed (especially after they were extremely demanding once I mentioned that my appliance was being replaced by LG Warranty Team when they immediately told me that they would be sending one of their Service Technicians by my home to pick up the parts- when I didnt have authorization from LGs Warranty Team which I mentioned to them, yet the again demanded to pick up the parts at which time I advised that I would reach out to LGs Warranty team as how to proceed- then advise them immediately of my findings. I have since offered multiple times to Appliance Service Plus to come pick up the parts after initially saying that I needed to contact LG first (so that everything was in writing) in order to properly follow LGs Warranty Department protocol- & after over a week later, Appliance Service Pros still has no answers as to what to do with parts that are taking up space in my home- & refuses to speak with my now that my service repair order is closed due to my appliance replacement. The manner/professionalism in which I was spoken to & treated by the employees at Appliance Service Plus once I mentioned my appliance replacement went from great, to an absolute horrible nightmare.

Comment: I am extremely disappointed -- not with the person but with the fact that our expensive washer we purchased at Lowes has had one problem after another, and, to be honest, the response from ASP has been unacceptable. Since June, we have had three different appointments, and after the latest one, one problem was fixed but a new worse one was created and the washer still is not functioning that way it did at first. Less than 48 hours after the last service call, by the time we did wash and experienced major problems, ASP told us sorry -- weve closed the claim and you need to file a new one. Which means well probably go a month with a washer that cannot run a complete wash-rinse-spin cycle. Thats extremely poor customer service.

Comment: It took 4 visits (a month and a half) to fix my dishwasher, because there was more than 1 issue, and that wasnt diagnosed in the first visit, or caught by testing out the unit after the first issue was fixed. But, I think it is finally fixed.We had 2 different repair techs come to our home to work on it. We were not impressed with the second one. He came into our home to fix our dishwasher, and spent the first 20 minutes talking about how ridiculous dishwashers are, how much cleaner dishes get when you wash them by hand, etc. It was very odd. Then he told me I was wrong, when I told him how fast my dishwasher used to heat up. When my husband asked him not to argue with me, he said he wasnt trying to argue, he was just stating the facts. The other tech was very nice, but didnt catch the second issue with the unit when he first diagnosed the problem.The office is very responsive, send reminders, and were able to get things scheduled fairly quickly and easily. We did have a holdup in the last appointment, but I dont know if it was this office or my home warranty office that caused that.

They asked many questions as did I and I received a lot of honest feedback. I have been without a washer since September and I was beyond frustrated with my machine. I had another company come out and attempt to fix my machine whom werent successful. Essentially these gentlemen came in and fixed what the other company could not and then some. I am grateful for the two gentlemen that came out to my house and fixed my washer. I would recommend them time and time again. Thank you!!

Comment: The tech that came out was nice,but after the lcd screen was replaced the clock could not be set,so mom called them the same day and the woman on the phone was rude and asking why she didnt tell the tech while he was there? I think that should have been his job by the way. Was she also supposed to bake a cake while he was there to make sure stove worked? So they sent directions to set clock,I humored them.Holding the button for 3 seconds is for the secondary function of said button. Our model has its own clock setting button which used to work just fine,now the button is non operational, then I was told it is not warranty for them to come out and set the clock. Idiots on the phone not getting it. Go back to training.

Comment: Property Manage here so you habe to know that what im about to complain about is because i have a legit reason and i deal this vendors a lot. This was poor service. They never fixed the issue and they wont come back to fix it. It is the same issue I called them about before. They wont come out again unless I pay them the fees again. The problem 1st happened in Aug 2022 and they didnt fix until Nov 2022. After fixing the issue the same problem happened again so I called them to report that it worked for maybe a week and then the same issue, wont drain. They said that since its been some time (few mos) that they will charge again. OK you tell me if this sounds like good costumer service? I told them OK if the issue is something completely different then I will pay for the new parts and labor but to ask for me to pay the fees again is ridiculous and bad costumer service and poor quality work

Comment: Service guy was REALLY nice. But besides that, company was unprofessional and unhelpful. Only used the company because they are contracted with my Lowes warranty. When filing a claim, Lowes let me pick a time and date, so I took off work for that appointment. Appliance Service Plus called me the next day and said they were unavailable during my scheduled appointment and changed it, and were unable to give me a time window until the day before. So, I changed my work schedule again to accommodate them. The next appointment was made to install the needed parts on my washer, so I took off work for that appointment. The time window of my appointment window came and went and no one showed. I was notified an hour AFTER my appointment that the service guy didnt check to make sure he had the necessary parts for the day until it was time for my appointment and he no longer had my parts, so they needed to come a different day and time. So because the company was unprepared, I had to miss work again for no reason. I had to take off 4 times from work for 2 short appointments, and there was absolutely NO apology or consideration, and were quite rude and acted like I was the inconvenience.

The owner was our technician, and was informative, timely, and incredibly professional. When they were not able to make our initial appointment, we received a phone call and they were out the next day. Comment: I am the owner of a nine month old Frigidaire refrigerator which I purchased out of Lowes. It comes with a warranty which I purchased. The refrigerator quit working so I notified my Lowes account people who were pretty quick to schedule this company to come out. After waiting 3 days for the company to call me they called and scheduled for 6 days out. The technician showed up verified what I told him that the compressor wasnt working. And he scheduled me again for today which was 10 days out from the original appointment because they were waiting on parts. Today they were scheduled to be here between the hours of 12:00 and 3:00 .12:00 rolled around we had a no call no show so we contacted the company who then said no were not coming today were waiting on a part and it wont be here for 15 more days. Mind you this is a fridge we are talking about which holds a households food at a proper temperature. After more than a couple weeks theyve still not worked on it. And now here I am waiting another two weeks before they maybe show up maybe call to tell me theyre still waiting on a part. Not how business is done not in America at least. Very very hard to reach a manager Steven to express my concerns. Milan the secretary was not helpful either. She assured me that the paper I signed saying the man was here the first time and that he was coming back the second time on this day didnt exist however I have an email receipt for proof. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Even though they are paid through my insurance they still do not want to work or do the work assigned to them the work that theyre paid to do

We were very annoyed.Then, they set up another visit with a different service tech, Jonathan. He was fantastic. It took him two visits to diagnose and repair the problem, but we really appreciated that he spent the time to try to figure out exactly what was going on and keep us informed. He told us it might take some time, and it felt like he really valued our time and our issue. We really appreciated all of Jonathans help.

Finally when the tech came he told me he couldnt perform the work because my fridge needed to be thaw out. Initially they were able to set up an appointment for a technician to make the assessment fairly quickly and it was said that a part was needed to be ordered. That part was said to be in by July 2nd and my appointment would be made shortly after. Of course, considering the current situation, delays would be expected and so there was. My appointment to fix the washing machine was then made July 14th and two days before the appointment I receive another call from them saying that the appointment would have to be moved to another week because the part had not arrived. That is contrary to what I was told in another call when we had made the July 14th appointment. It’s understandable if they did not have the part ready at all, and just should have said that instead of making me rearrange my schedule.

I can also understand that there may be a delay on a part getting here BUT what I don’t understand is why I had to draw the attention to it and why it will take from Friday morning to Monday to even submit the information to the home warranty people. And perhaps the biggest thing I do not understand is that their customer service retained someone like Myling to work for them. After asking for the technician who had just left to return because of the incomplete job even if it was just to edge the machine out a couple of inches so that I could do the reset that he had done 3 times before just to do laundry I was informed that they don’t do COURTESY but they could have someone do it for $125 !!!! amazing since I had asked the technician before he left my home how much it would have cost for the “repair” he had just done and he said $85. If the we do Not work for free rhetoric was not annoying enough then the constant over talking sealed the deal. Ms Myling needs to read Ms Manners and if she isnt a family member needs more training at the very least. The same message showed again. My husband ran out to get the technician who had not driven away. The technician ordered a part. The part came and a different technician brought the part. He said it was the wrong part. After he left, my hot water wouldnt turn on, there was a line not hooked up, and under my sink was flooded. My husband called the next morning. They said they would send a technician. I called around 10am. They said they couldnt send a technician until close to the end of the day. I asked to speak to a supervisor. At 3pm the technician came. It was the same technician as before. He was extremely rude. I asked for his name. He replied what concern is it to you. He eventually gave me his name after I threatened to call the company. I called the company while he was in my home to complain. The attitude he displayed toward me while in my home was appalling. As of 5PM I have not heard from the supervisor. My husband has also contacted Lowes whom the warranty is through. Thankfully their customer service is better than appliance plus. I hope Lowes stops using this company to service their warranties.

Comment: Have had 6 services on the same water leaking issue on my refrigerator. Have had the ice machine replaced, the back panel replaced, the motor replaced, and the drain replaced. Over the three technicians that have come out, they all try to do the same repair and the fridge is still leaking for the same issues. I now have mold growing in my fridge due to the leaking water so a new issue of a health hazard. Your techs are friendly but other than that, the appointment time changes and having to turn my fridge off to defrost multiple days in advance over 6 visits is crazy.

Comment: Appliance Service Plus provides horrendous customer service. They didn’t show up for their initial 8:00 - 10:00 appointment with me on 8/27/19 after I had taken the morning off of work. This was after they called me to confirm the appointment after business hours (after 5:00) and after I called them back within an hour, leaving a message confirming that I would be home. I also called them before 8:00 trying to confirm the appointment but again had to leave a message.Upon arriving late they didn’t have any of the parts needed to complete the repair for my refrigerator and the tech ordered them. I received numerous calls after the initial appointment to confirm that the parts arrived and to schedule a follow up appointment only to have these appointments canceled at least 3 times. Each time they said the parts had not come in.After finally getting a call saying that the were sure that the parts had come in, I requested an appointment on 10/11/19 as close to 8:00 as possible. After scheduling that appointment with their dispatcher/receptionist I was told they would call the day before and confirm a two hour window. I checked my voice mail the night & the morning before the appointment and didn’t have any messages so I called them before the requested 8:00 appointment. No one answered so I left a message reminding them that I was taking the morning off and that I needed someone there as early as possible. After 8:00 I called back. The dispatcher/receptionist lied to me and told me that they had called the day before and left me a message that the repair would be between the hours of 10:00-12:00. I had no such message. Instead of trying to solve the problem the receptionist/dispatcher told me there was nothing she could do at 8:05 to get someone there earlier. When I complained to her about the lack of communication and their customer service in general the receptionist told me that she was glad that I felt that way and hung up on me.My fridge has been down for close to two months! This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. This is the company that Lowe’s uses to handle their extended warranties. Based on that relationship I would not buy an appliance from Lowe’s and I definitely would not buy their extended warranties.

Just lies saying they fixed the chairs. Also said it was wear and tear these chairs are 1 year 6 months. They didnt do anything about the Recliners. They sold me a 5 year warranty. Peter arrived and inspected the fridge, diagnosing our problem and a plan to fix it. He indicated that he would order the parts and another appointment would be made. Received a phone call just a few hours later from the office, and we were told they had all the parts in the office! Made an appt for the following day, Peter arrived right on time, and fixed the ice maker fairly quickly and thoroughly, so there shouldt be further problems. Weve had no trouble as yet, we are very happy with the service and quality of repair. Peter was very professional and friendly.

They will sometimes try to fight you about it, but do not give in, make them give you another option and they will. Awful receptionist, its sad to know that customer service is horrible in todays world, but at this company its non-existent. Our refrigerator went out and someone came and checked it out, he was nice, said it was the compressor and that was the last I heard of him, that was 1 week ago. Im dealing with this company because I have Fidelity Home Warranty. Save yourself from dealing with this company. My first phone call I was immediately on hold for just over 15 minutes, then when she finally connected me through, I said wow that was a really long hold time! She said nothing and asked for my address. I said usually when people wait for that long. You simply say, Im sorry for the hold time, again, nothing. I told her she had a dry personality and again nothing nothing. Then I was hung up on. Look on yelp, horrible reviews from 38 people!

They gave me the runaround for nearly 2 months trying to fix a simple issue with my oven.Appointment issues: They said they would call to confirm the day before, and never did. I had to call each morning on the day of the appointment to confirm they were still coming out. I did this 3 times and they rescheduled each of the 3 times. The first time because the technician was sick and they wouldnt send anyone else out. The second time, they said the part had not come in but it would be in tomorrow. The third time, they said only one part came in and they were getting it (you guessed it) tomorrow.Services issues: The technician who came on the initial diagnostic call had no idea what he was doing. He didnt recognize the GE logo on the GE oven and thought it was some weird off-brand. Really? He then said he didnt know what the error code was, and would have to call GE support. He sat on hold for about 20 minutes and the GE support person told him it was either the fan, or another part. The fan was working so he said he had to order it and left.After the third time rescheduling over nearly 2 months, I finally cancelled and worked with my home warranty company to get my trade service call fee refunded. I called another company and they fixed the problem in a day.This company, as you have probably seen, has abysmal ratings on Yelp, Facebook, and Google; All similar reasons. Just stay away!

Comment: I would give this company zero stars if it was an option. This is the most incompetent company I have ever worked with. My home warranty company automatically assigned this company to fix our refrigerator. We scheduled a window of time for them to come out to diagnose the issue. They did not show up during the scheduled time. We called them and they explained another job had taken longer so they werent able to come out that day. Their best solution was to come out 4 days later. I told them that was unacceptable and they would come out the next day. When the service person arrived he quickly diagnosed the issue and said we needed a part to fix the compressor and the part would take 7-10 business days to arrive. One week later I had to call the company to ask for an update because we hadnt heard anything from them. The woman told me the part had been ordered but they didnt have a tracking number yet. She also said they had not received confirmation from the home warranty company that they could proceed. An entire week later we still had not heard anything from this company. My husband called yesterday and the woman said she didnt have the information yet but someone would call us by end of day. Of course, no one called us. He called today at 3pm and came to find out that they ordered the part THIS MORNING. She would not give us the tracking number. My husband asked for her to send us all communication between them and our home warranty company. [When they finally sent it, the information they provided was not what he had asked for.] He had to give her a recap of the entire ridiculous situation weve endured the past 3 weeks thanks to their incompetence. I cannot believe a company this inept is allowed to practice business. Stay away from this company if you actually want your appliance fixed in a timely manner, if you want to use a company that communicates, and if you dont want to be lied to by your appliance company. We will be contacting the business bureau with our complaint as well.

Comment: 06/29/2018- part was supposedly ordered for my fridge being repaired under manufacturer warranty.07/25/2018- after several days speaking with the company renting me the home I live in, with no luck, I call the repair company myself to inquire about the status of the repair. I am told the part will be in on 07/30/2018 and the earliest they can come out is 08/01/2018. In advance we are only allowed to select either a four hour time in the morning or a four hour time in the afternoon. I said I would have to choose the morning unless the technician could arrive at 12 like he did the first time. I wad told that they couldnt guarantee that the tech could arrive but could put it in the notes that I preferred that time. I said that because there couldnt be any guarantees on time I would have to take the morning appointment. I eat told I would receive a call the day before with a 2 hour window of arrival.07/31/2018- Didnt receive call. Office was closed when I realized.08/01/2018- Called early in day to inquire about repair window. Was told that the repair technician was scheduled to come out between 12 and 2. I asked why I didnt receive a call the day before and I was told that they called and spoke to the Missus. I live alone. The next available date they can come is either 08/08/2018 or 08/10/2018 and the only time I will be available is 08/10/2018 because my workdays are filled with appointments that I cant break.
