Ladies are wonderful, caring and super nice to everyone, reason I started going there instead of the clinic right around the corner. The ladies make you feel like they are truly concerned for your well being.Morgan was super fast and friendly today. This is now my to go place, I truly don’t mind the driving
The women at this location deserve so much more than I can give in this Google Review. They saw my 8-month-old son when 3 other urgent cares turned us away for various reasons. The two women I worked with, which included the medical staff and provider, were kind, patient, and understanding. I know the medical field is overworked and short-staffed in general, but these two didn’t let that show Nd saved me this morning. I appreciate them.
I went in, filled out all the usual paperwork and gave copies of my ID and insurance cards. Was given a print out of my care summary and rx’s were sent to my pharmacy. Upon my exit I realized they had the wrong patient name on my paperwork! I could not believe it. Fifty years on this planet and I have never had a medical office completely screw up my medical records. Total HIPAA violation. They corrected it for me but I am truly hesitant on ever coming back here for fear that “MY” name, address, and insurance info may end up on someone else’s paperwork one day.
Took a rapid test and PCR on 12/27 and was guaranteed multiple times if they would still send in the PCR if the rapid test came back positive for border crossing purposes in the future. They charged me for both and only bothered to process one test and now I am unable to cross the border to help my grandmother move.Edit to answer the reply: You are absolutely incorrect about the border policies, this is copied DIRECTLY FROM THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT WEBSITE You must provide proof of a COVID-19 negative molecular test result to enter Canada OR proof of a previous positive test result taken between 15 and 180 days ago (starting January 15, 2022, between 11 and 180 days ago).I also ASKED THE PERSON TESTING MULTIPLE TIMES TO CONFIRM THAT EVEN IF I TESTED POSITIVE THEY WOULD SEND OUT THE PCR FOR THIS REASON SPECIFICALLY. so thanks for being liars!!!!!!!!Not to mention that your laziness in not sending out PCR tests for positive results also prevents people from knowing which variant they have contracted and hampers effective collection of that information for public health care and safety, these kinds of slipshod measures would be more suited to the operation of a gas station than an urgent care
The people here are really nice, got signed in right away. Really liked the Dr. However, it would have helped to know that they were taking care of COVID testing and possible COVID cases by making people stay in their car. So even though I was the only one in the waiting room I couldnt understand why I had not been called in. When they told me why it made my wait time more understandable.
They shouldnt call themselves emergency care I didnt see any emergency to attend me at all.The front desk staff is kind but I waited 1hr 30min for 3 stitches removal and the doctor didnt attend me.There were only 2 patients before me. I left because I didnt want to loose any more of my time and on top of that my money in exchange for a poor service. And their installations are dirty. I was in room 2, the carpet is old and stained, stains in the walls, overflowed trash can, old equipment. Really depressing.I should be paid in compensation for my time and extra effort in searching for another doctor.
I went to this urgent care to be treated for a sinus infection, upon arrival, the door reads “do not enter if you are having cold like symptoms including congestion (which I was), so I pulled my car around back & found myself waiting behind 6 cars. After about 46 minutes of waiting the doctor finally comes back. I explain to her I have already been tested for Covid twice, it has been negative I just need to be treated for a sinus infection. She said they recommend a rapid and a PCR in order to see which, WHICH I ALREADY have negative results to both, I was reluctant but I said ok because I was truly desperate my sinus infection was that bad. Keep in mind it took 45 mins for the doctor to come to my car say this & she gave me a clip board to fill out. I waiting another HOUR behind the same 6 cars I pulled up with & guess what, not ONE of us were COVID swabbed after an hour and 45 mins I pulled up to the front of the line & left. I was so irritated and a bunch of people behind me left as well. Truly, idk why anyone would stay after 2 hours and no one had been tested. Anyway, I went to get well urgent care on 16& dequindre in tears because of the pain I was in at this point. SO professional, quick, & helpful!I would NEVER come back to this urgent care & I would never recommend it to anyone. So unprofessional and truly just felt like a $$$ to them. If it was possible, I would rate 0 stars. I also never post negative reviews, but this had to be said.
Unorganized. Waited over an hour for a covid test WITH an appointment. Appears that the number listed online is a central call center for all locations and not someone at the Rochester site. I called when I arrived and parked in the parking lot as I was told to do. Was told someone would be out to see me to perform a covid test. Three calls to the number on the door at the urgent care and an hour later and Ive still yet to see anyone.... Go somewhere else.reply to the owners response: I get that it is a busy office but the utter lack of communication and organization is why I was so irritated by this experience. I called THREE times and was never told to join the line around the back of the building. I waited 45 minutes in the parking lot after being told that someone would be right out only for nobody to ever show up. I then joined the line around the back of the building (which the rep on the phone never told me about) and waited another hour... still never saw anyone. If I have an appointment and its going to be a two hour wait Id prefer to just be told that the office is running behind so that I can plan accordingly, not be told someone will be right out for almost two hours.
Dr Lawrence and his team were excellent to work with during a painful situation. From the time we walked in the door when we were greeted with a friendly smile, it only got better from there. Great bedside manner from staff, very fast imaging results and a thorough explanation of what to expect after our visit. We appreciate the Rochester Urgent Care team and should we ever need care in the future, they will absolutely be our first choice!
Super friendly staff! I went here cause there wasn’t an appointment needed for rapid test. I was discourage when I pulled up to the line and there was 6 cars in front of me but it moved quick and they have a good system going. Dr. Holloway was awesome and took the time to talk to me and answer questions. He’s very relatable and reassuring. Definitely recommend!!
When I first walked in this place they treated me with respect and the front girl was gorgeous and beautiful who help me right away the other girl name Olivia was super nice and helpful I would recommend her to any person this place I recommend to anyone that need urgent care the main Doctor was helpful so much and she help me with my sickness with in 15 min the people are super kind and nice the family of doctors are gorgeous I love how the the Second I walked in I was treated like family.
I been to this Urgent care for several reasons. For school physicals, tests and etc. My last visit was 3 days ago for my doughter and I couldnt get last minute appointment with my primary care physician. Lawrence Holloway, Nurse Practitioner at the Urgent Care gladly examined my child and made correct prescription. Next day and I sent this prescription to my primary Doctor for review and they confirmed everything was prescribed correctly. Lawrence Holloway is an asset for this urgent care location. Thank you.
I have been there 3 times and they never can find previously filled out paperwork and make you fill everything out from scratch. No big deal if I could get my results and someone would pick up the phone. They wont. I got tested 2 days ago. Nothing sent to my email. And if you call them it goes to voicemail and you cant leave a message because the voicemail is full. I need my results so I can be cleared to go back into work. Highly recommend going somewhere else.
I called prior to coming in to make sure they drain swollen knees. When I saw the doctor, he said he wouldn’t do it. When I told him that I felt like I wasted my time, he stormed out saying that he wasted his time. Very unprofessional. At least he is getting paid for his “wasted time”. I have to pay for mine! This is a follow up to this review. Rochester Urgent Care said that they would contact me in this matter. Apparently, that is a lie so that they can make people who see my review think that they actually care. Three days after, no call from them addressing my concerns. Avoid this place.
I dont know if theyre just fed up with COVID testing or what, but they WILL NOT answer the phone. Ive parked in the line where the testing takes place, first one here. I even watched an employee walk into the building, see me in the line and Im assuming said nothing because no one came out to see me. Just terrible.
Took our daughter to bed seen by a doctor because she’s been sick for a week. We have a negative Covid test but he refused to examine her without performing another Covid test.Even more frustrating was that we called when we arrived and we’re told we could be seen in our vehicle. Very discouraging lack of care :(
I am incredibly pleased with the time sensitive health matter that Rochester Urgent Care took care of for me. I was greeted warmly and professionally by a wonderful and knowledgeable, young woman named Suzie. She took time to listen to my needs and answer all questions. I will look for Suzie the next time I have any health needs. I recommend Rochester Urgent Care. :)
I registered online for an appointment for a COVID test, and upon arrival found a long line of cars. The wait was long (1.5-2 hours), which was disappointing but understandable but the thing that bothered me was the way that the medical staff tried to discourage me from getting tested. First, when I said that I was getting tested because a close coworker had tested positive I was told that I should come back in a few days because it takes five days after exposure to get a positive test result. I told her that I would still like to get tested. Then, when the NP came out to speak with me, he suggested that there was no real reason to get tested because everyone will come get a test every time they get the sniffles. It is everyones right to have an opinion about COVID testing, but it came off as unprofessional to try to deter patients.
If I could give this place 0stars I would. I’ve been trying to get in touch with them about a bill from 2020 I have emailed and called numerous times over the last 2 years and have received no response it’s ridiculous that this place is even still in business I don’t understand how they operate. If you have any issues with billing good luck on trying to get a hold of anyone.
Nice staff and convenient drive thru covid testing . But it takes sooo long to get thru that line . I had two cars ahead of me and it took exactly one hour from start to finish . I also noticed that they explained to me it would take a while but it was in a way where it seemed they wanted me to leave without taking a test. Also when you do the rapid test they only call you with results if you are positive. So if your negative they don’t call you . I don’t like that . I want a call either way so I don’t have to wonder .
Wow! Very rude worker. Went for a COVID test for travel and it was obvious she was trying her best simply to get rid of people. Theres always a good and a bad way to approach a situation and she chose the wrong one. Hopefully if you end up here you dont have to interact with her.
I went in for a Covid test since I am working and could expose an older parent. The Dr was very nice and reviewed my health screening. He answered questions about the test and did not rush me. The assistant came in and did the nasal swab - yes it can be uncomfortable but it really wasnt bad at all. I had the results for the PCR test in my email with in an hour. Great service! I will recommend.
Got x-rays of my entire hand when they should have been looking just at one finger. Had to go to a hand specialist for them to confirm that the finger was broken. The hand specialist said the x-rays were terrible/garbage and no wonder the urgent care didnt see the broken finger because of the way they positioned my hand during the photo which blocked the finger. Waited over 45 minutes in the lobby when I was the only car in the parking lot. Got to room where I waited another 20 minutes to get the x-ray.Avoid this place, waste of time and money.
My husband and I, had to schedule for COVID-19 test at 11:00 am and 11:10am. We arrived in the clinic at 10:45 am, and we have been there waiting for a test over 1:45 hours. It’s the worst place for to have a COVID-19 test. We have a lot of things for to do during the day, and we are wast time!
Staff was super friendly and kind, however not very through, was not allowed into building, even though I wasn’t there for covid testing, super sweet nurse proceeds for test me for strep and covid after talking with the NP, NP tells me if both tests are negative it’s just a summer virus going around. I go home, continue to not feel good and then request a chest x ray from my PCP only to find out it’s not a virus but pneumonia. I reported all my symptoms to them and They didn’t even look in my mouth or nose or listen to my lungs as I expressed those were my main areas of concern. I’m not upset as I understand the stress the healthcare system is in due to covid but wanted to leave this review for others incase they feel like they were misdiagnosed or are still not feeling better. Also just wanted to remind others to advocate for yourself if something doesn’t feel right. Again I have no hateful feelings toward the staff as they were insanely kind, just wish it was more through so I could’ve caught this sooner.
Went in to get a shoulder injury checked out today. I was a bad patient and left my insurance card at home. The staff was awesome and took time out to look up my information for me even though its my responsibility to have it. The whole experience was great from start to finish even though I had to get shots.😂😂 Thank you to the staff who took suck great care of me today!!
Dr Lawrence was terrific, he explained everything and I was amazed at how polite he was given the number of cars in-line. Staff was very friendly and I got my test results back within the 15 min after them taking the swab. For such a hectic time they were very professional.
Went in due to serious pain and nausea. Michelle was more than happy to answer my questions when I called, then Keira and Dr. Lawrence were amazing. Just their personalities helped me feel better. They are doing a great job keeping calm and being safe with all the uncertainties in our world right now. Patience and kindness is key and they had it down perfect.
Went to this location due to a great past experience. But most recently, the COVID testing line was extremely long and no one gave you any update. Since then, I was supposed to get a call about COVID results and haven’t received one call with an update. I specifically asked before I left if they were going to call and I was told yes within 24-48 hours. It’s been 48 hours and no call. On top of that when trying to speak to receptionist, it says user mailbox is full and then hangs up. How am I supposed to get ahold of someone? I have tried calling multiple times and no answer still.I was really expecting more here this is so disappointing.
Very helpful and friendly staff that listen to all your issues and don’t just hurry you along. A lot faster than going to my normal doctor even when I have an appointment. In and out in about an hour. They even apologized for the wait which is understandable since the flu epidemic is going around.Very clean facility and they have a plethora of snacks and drinks for you to enjoy while you wait. Haven’t had better care since I lived in Washington state.
Went to get a pregnancy test called before I came to see how long the weight would be advised me not long came in I waited 2 hours before I went back , peed in a cup the doctor came back & didn’t even have results & the nurse came to get blood finally & she poked me 3rd without getting any blood and asked would I like to go around to the lab this place is unorganized & staff clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing
The negative reviews below are clearly from impatient humans... I also called all morning to realize they didn’t open until 10am. And I called at 9:48am and guess what... they picked up their phone, were super helpful and kind, and had me in within the hour for a Covid test.Did it take me an hour? Yes it did, bc you wait 15 minutes for the results and you wait for The doctor to come talk to you, just like ANY other doctor office anyone goes to.I did not catch the name of the provider or the MA that did my Covid test and evaluation... hands down, great service. The test giver was kind, empathetic, explained himself very well and for the first time experience, It could have been so much worse. The provider was also very kind and honest and all around the energy they exuded was appreciated along with the work they are doing AND risking to do so.People need to be kinder and more patient during a pandemic at an urgent care... also helps if you give a positive attitude, you typically receive one.I gave 4 (would give 4.75 if I could) stars because I did wish there was a sign that told Covid testing where to park, but you eventually figure out it’s on the side of the building. She probably told me that on the phone too and I could have easily missed it.Either way, thank you for the pleasant visit today!*** I never went in the office to see the sign posted below in the reviews, nor did I get $5 for this review, also, who cares how people build their business if the service is provided, that type of marketing is EVERYWHERE**
The entire team here especially the doc and Kristen Lawerence are amazing,, compassionate and have the Covid 19 testing down to a fine science. The wait is long but they don’t rush you through and they have great bedside manners. talk to you and really listen to your questions.
For an Urgent Care clinic, there facility is wonderful. I arrived shortly after they opened and took a few extra minutes because it was my first time visiting there. The Woman checking me in was very sweet and to the point. Because it was early morning, the wait time was only about 20 minutes. The doctor really did his job and knew what she was doing. I was out really quickly and went to get my medications.
I had a very great experience for my COVID test I had last week! The staff were all helpful and patient especially Kristen! The test was quick & easy and they answered all of my questions I had! Thank you so much for the great experience Kristen & Staff! Stay Healthy! Thankful for you all!
Rochester Urgent Care did an outstanding job providing me a rapid Covid-19 test. Dr. Lawrence was very knowledgeable and left us feeling at ease. Paula (the lady who did the test) was very friendly! While it is evident the test itself it not the most pleasant, the staff at Rochester Urgent Care did the best they could to make the process as painless as possible.
I had been feeling terrible for a few days with sore throat and constant coughing and it reached a point where it hurt to speak. I call this facility and they immediately told me I could come by for a curbside visit. I was given a rapid COVID-19 test and strep throat test which thankfully came back negative and left with prescriptions for medications to help me heal. They were attentive and kind and helped put me at ease. I couldn’t be more grateful for them today.
No Dr.s all NP. The MAs dont know how to draw blood. Do not use this Urgent Care. The NP who saw me never introduced himself, wore casual clothes and never even examined me. He stayed. Right at the door.Again, go elsewhere for your needs.I have had a call into a manager for several days with no response.
I had a really good experience here at Rochester Urgent Care. Dr. Lawrence is a really smart guy who cares a lot about his patients. He’s very informed and will give you the raw information you don’t hear on the news about covid. If I ever need to get a covid test again I’ll for sure be returning to this place.
This morning I couldnt take my elderly mother to her usual urgent care because with the holiday it did not have a doctor on duty until the afternoon at the earliest. When I called to inquire about Black Friday hours here, I was greeted by the friendliest man--Tony. He was the physicians assistant on duty. His cheeriness and compassion made our visit very comfortable. Dr. S. saw my mother right away and took care of her needs. In the past, my husband and I have enjoyed good service here as well.
Yesterday was our third visit in three weeks, one for each of my kids. Staff was friendly, process was quick and efficient, and we were able to get the care my children needed. Oh, and they give out free drinks and snacks while you wait, and my kids loved that part! Highly recommend Rochester Urgent Care!
Rochester Urgent care is the best urgent care I’ve been to. Usually I go into an urgent care and wait 1-2 hours to be seen and then I get sent out in less than 10 minutes because they don’t really care. Here I was seen in under 10 minutes, I had an X-Ray and was out of there in about 30 minutes. They were all incredibly kind and made sure they asked questions so I could get the care I needed. 10/10 would recommend!
The staff are extremely friendly, kind, and knowledgeable with their care for others. The female physician is patient, caring and thorough with her assessment. The male Ma, Mohammed Ali, is friendly, skillful, and extremely helpful. The staff at the front desk are friendly and warm as they greet patrons. I will not go anywhere else for my urgent care needs.
Waited several hours. In that time, half a dozen people walked in and requested the results of their covid test. Very uncomfortable and definitely backwards for being in the midst of a pandemic. Guessing they dont know what a phone is. They dont EVER anwser it and dont call with test results. In fact during my wait I never once heard a phone ring or witnessed staff answer a call. They certainly like their country music.. I will be sure to let our Doctors office know of this experience and I will not ever come back to this urgent care. Being slammed is not the same as being irresponsible.
The medical professional and the person who administered the Covid test were great.I had to call for my rapid results the next afternoon when they told me they would be emailed within 2 hours after the test. For the lab results, I was supposed to receive a call either way if i was positive or negative. I end up calling them 4 days after the test and she tells me im negative, tells me she will email the results amd never does. They seem to be on top of things.
Not thrilled. Wouldnt recommend if you have another choice. Took over an hour to get a covid test and I had an appointment. The staff seemed confused and to have a lot of miscommunication about my appointment.Poor office communication created a poor experience for me.
Every time I come to this location the . nurses and doctors are really nice and informative. I love that the doctors explain to you what the medications do and give at home remedy advice. 10 out of 10 recommend this place, being in college right around the corner and getting bronchitis twice this year they have been life savers!
I got my sports physical done from Rochester Urgent Care over the weekend. When I went in I did not had to wait. The employees were super super friendly and helpful especially Christy ( Receptionist), Tony (Medical Assistant), and the doctor Mr. Elnegres. I had an awesome time. They treated me and my mom very well!! Because of such great staff, I would definitely visit again. I highly recommend Rochester Urgent Care!!! ALSO IT IS SUPER CHEAP!!
I went there today to have my son tested for covid. He has symptoms and I was nervous about bringing him in and potentially putting others at risk. I called a couple times on my way there to see if there was a safe way to check in. They did not answer the phone. When I arrived, I walked him in and to my surprise there was no staff at the door checking people in and a few people waiting in the waiting room. I did not feel comfortable going into the office. I waited outside and tried calling them again. Still no answer. I was able to make an appt for him at another urgent care.
I thought this place was great, I personally have never needed to attend an urgent care facility and as a first time experience I will not hesitate to go again. I did attempt to call ahead and that was tricky to get a live person so I simply went without doing so. Once I arrived the front desk was very friendly and the medical staff in general were all very helpful seemed genuinely caring. To top it off I was in and out in about 45min. I would definitely recommend!
I have used Rochester Urgent Care on many occasions with many successes each and every time. The staff are extremely caring and friendly. The wait time is not too long, really depends on when you come in. the doctors were professional and highly competent. I have been to other “Urgent Care” facilities and they are no competition to this one. I highly recommend this service oriented urgent care to anyone who wants a place where they wont be disappointed.
I was only waiting 30 minutes at most and the doctor explained everything to me so I knew exactly what was happening. They also made it a very comfortable place for the whole experience, they had drinks and snacks out for the patients while waiting and the receptionists were super friendly!
I liked the facility and the short waiting time. I only went there because I hadnt been feeling well in over a week, flu-like symptoms, and the doctor was really nice and so were the staff. The problem came when it was time to pay. the insurance was billed and then i had to pay the rest. Its not bad right?Wrong, I never got a bill or a call saying i had a balance. they just didnt care.I had to call and find out if I owed any money and the only reason I called was because my insurance receipt showed that they may bill me. I had a very simple flu test done nothing out of the ordinary and they over-billed my insurance and I ended up paying $200 out of pocket for a 20 min doctor visit.Point is, if you really dont need it stay out of here. They will rip you off with a straight face.
Thank you to Dr. Lawrence and The Covid Team (did not get their names unfortunately) at Rochester Urgent Care. While working endless hours ensuing they are available to assist OUR community. The Team displayed kindness, compationate and professional demeanor while efficiently working and educating in such a difficult time. I greatly appreciate the understanding you had for our situation, it made a world of difference to us!
Both my husband and I have tried calling to get the results of our Covid tests for 2 days, non- stop choosing every option available (#3 for Covid questions, #4 for receptionist, so on and so on). The phone rings and rings and eventually hangs up on you with no ability to leave a voicemail. We were told we would hear about our results in 5-7 days - we have not. Also, I’m not excited about the approach to testing at this location. The only reason I went was because I was told they had rapid results tests available. While they say it’s a safe place, with car side service, you must actually go inside to sign in and get your paperwork, fill it out in your car, take it BACK IN, and go wait in the car again - then come IN AGAIN to get tested. This places those with Covid symptoms in the same space as those visiting for other issues. Not cool.I had my son tested at Oxford urgent care and I highly recommend it. Their process is seamless, contactless and all done from your car. They call with your results and they answer the phone when you call.
The doctor at this urgent care is a joke. He saw my son (14 months old at the time) for 3 minutes (clearly he was ready to go home) and said nothing was wrong. I knew better. I took my son to his primary the next business day and he had a double ear infection. I would highly recommend not going there if you care about yourself or your loved ones
I arrived at 8am as they opened. I was the third person to be seen. I left at 9:10am. In that time 1) they took me back, the nurse spend about 2 minutes doing blood pressure and asking a few questions 2) Doctor spoke to me for about 2 minutes 3) swabbed my throat for a strep test 4) told me I had strep and gave me a prescription. Overall I though the wait time was excessive. The facility is in need of maintenance. The room I was in was not clean or maintained. Ive attached photos but here is what I saw; The room I was in had dirty carpet. I was one of the three first people in the facility and probably the first in that particular room, yet there was junk already on the carpet. The carpet was also quite stained and in need of replacement. The walls and door was scuffed up. The door was missing a screw cover. One had cracks in the drywall and some type of liquid had gotten all over it and allowed to dry without being cleaned. The sync/vanity was old with the porcelain chipped, the Formica layer broken and chipped, caulking old yellowing and peeling. The overhead vent for heating and cooling was caked in dust/dirt. Coming in and out of the facility have a look at the baseboard. Theyre damaged by salt and traffic. All in all this was not what Ive come to expect from a medical facility. Its clear the owner is squeezing this for every penny he/she can get and doesnt really want to put a dollar into maintaining it.The medical staff seemed competent if not friendly, but my situation was exceedingly simple. Finally (this is my own pet peeve) they have sings posted everywhere about silly things. They actually have a sign about staying off your phone. What else are you going to do when you spend 97% of your time waiting? If my medical insurance has a different in network provider in the area Ill give them a try instead
2.5 hours for covid test. Wasn’t curbside. Had to wait 90 degrees in my car. Receptionist had pretty makeup on and apparently didn’t want to disturb it with a mask. That grossed me out. This is a popular covid site for god sake. Over one week passed and still no result. Calling the clinic 3 days now and rings and rings until it hangs up on me.
Waited an hour in the waiting room and and hour in the back before I saw a doctor. The doctor came to look at my foot, which had an ingrown toenail and took one look at it and said “I’m not going to touch that I’m not a podietrist.” I left with the same pain as I was having when I walked in and ended up heading straight to another urgent care when I left where they successfully treated my toe. Also, they have signs in their office telling you they will give you $5 cash when you leave if you give them a positive review. In response to their comment to me, I can assure you it did not take 45 mins. It took me 45 minutes to see a doctor after I was brought back into a room. I waited for at least an hour to be taken back into a room. Also, if they think the care I recieved was proper than their standards are very low. I’ve never met a NP who thinks it is appropriate to use a kleenex off of the counter to wipe off an infected wound. I’ve also never met a doctor who blatently told their patient they were not touching their injury. I will be sure to file a report and have this establishment evaluated.
Avoid this place, I was refused service/treatment.I arrived 9:35 PM and they had the Open sign on. They close at 10:00 PM. The place was empty except for a young child and mother leaving. I said, Im glad you are still open to the receptionist and have an earache and scratchy throat and it might be common cold or flu.The man dressed in hospital gear next to the receptionist tells me that the practitioner has taken the last patient and that they are closed and will open 8:00 AM. I look at him and he repeats that they are closed and will reopen again at 8:00 AM. The receptionist said nothing and just stares.Upon exiting I told them that I can take my business elsewhere. I took a photo that is time stamped. The parking lot was also empty when I exited except for 2 cars parked farther away from the building. Maybe those 2 cars belonged to the receptionist and practitioner.I really wonder were the other patient had parked their car and why they could not treat me when there is no one waiting.
Awful experience. I have COVID symptoms, so my girlfriend and I went to get COVID tested. We ended up doing the paperwork and waiting in the car for 2 hours. We then went in to check why the other cars were getting called in before us. The lady didn’t know why and the guy at the desk mentioned that he didn’t see us sign in. So we did accordingly and waited another hour. Began to get upset when the same thing happened and went back in. The man told us we had another hour wait, so we grabbed our information after 3 hours and left untested. We are beyond livid, avoid if you can.
My first warning sign was there was no patients at all in the waiting room. The next was when one of the staff said they are always slow. Biggest waste of $50 ever. The doctor prescribed something that needed a specialty pharmacist and was very expensive and not covered by insurance. He spent about 2 minutes with me. In response: I was there but not this weekend. Previously. Good luck.
Worst place ever. Went in for an xray at the holidays. I knew that I had broken my foot, and needed it confirmed. Dr was condescending, sarcastic as he explained that I did not have a break in my foot. The office called ten days later to tell me that they read the xray and that I should book an appt with an orthopedic immediately, as my foot is broken. It was a long wait, with only one person ahead of me. Signage at the checkout says that they will pay you for positive reviews.
Saw a wonderful doctor within minutes on a Saturday night, I believe his name was Dr. Wood. The nurse was so considerate that she even turned off the lights, since I had a screaming migraine on its 5th day. They took great care of me, while my PCP cancelled yet two more appointments! You bet Ill be returning! Awesome experience! Thanks so much guys!
I went in because I was worried my toddler had broken a bone. I was the only one in the waiting room on a Saturday morning around 9 a.m. and sat the in the waiting room for exactly 35 minutes while I watched the two nurses behind the desk sit and talk to each other and the doctor was sitting with them chatting and scrolling through his phone. I was incredibly disappointed with the doctor after the nurse took x-rays and the doctor said he couldnt read them and would have to wait a day for the radiologist to call me. I tried asking questions and he gave very safe, general answers. He was very young and didnt have the greatest bed-side manner. He told my toddler to stop crying while he was touching the bone I was afraid she had broken. Not impressed. I will not be going back to this Urgent Care.
Great care. Very friendly staff and short wait time. Overall very satisfied and definitely recommend it! Ive always had such a pleasant experience going here, and the previous reviews do not match up to my experience as I come here very often. The staff is always so sweet to me and the doctor was awesome!
The nurses were ok but we had to wait a while for someone to come to the window to help us.The doctor was extremely rude and was getting upset when we asked for him to explain further and was asking if we even understand as he rolled his eyes. He kept trying to convince us not to get an x-ray then when we said we wanted one anyway he walked out and yelled for one of his nurses to do it. He saw us for two min then said you should just go to the emergency room. Dont recommend.
Avoid this urgent care at all costs. I have had two bad experiences. First. My daughter megan went there a few months ago complaining that she couldnt breath and was having episodes of her chest tightening and breathing problems. the young inexperienced doctor refused to do any tests and told her she was fine. we saw another doctor one week later who diagnose her with moderate to severe asthma. Why didnt he test for this or even do a chest X-ray. He did nothing and was unconcerned. Very inexperienced. Then yesterday she went back there to get a physical for work. We thought it would be easy enough for them and convenient. Heaven help us though. He refused to sign her physical form because she has ADD and he couldnt vouch for her being mentally and emotionally stable. WHAT!!!! She has been there several times. Read her records. Talk to her. Test her. Having ADD does not mean you are not able to work. It also does not mean you are mentally unstable. He needs a lesson in discrimination!!!!!
Today, December 6, 2019 I called the Rochester Urgent Care after I learned my pardiatrist was in surgery today. Before making the appointment, I asked questions & informed them of the reason I needed to see a doctor today. My left foot & small toe was swollen due to an infection that resurface from last November 2018. They made an 1:00 pm appointment, I was evaluated, etc. Then Chelsea came in the room & we spoke, I spoke more, trying to explain what I thought it was. To my disappointment, an X-ray was not taken, but most disappointing, no doctor came into the room. When I made the appointment I was told a doctor. Chelsea, not sure her title, prescribed not one but two antibiotics. The prescription was filled at Rochester Hills, Mi. The pharmacist said only one antibiotics prescription was needed along with steroids tablets would reduce the swelling & clear the infection or virus. Why in hell would I take two sets of antibiotic. Makes no sense. So I dont know how much my Blue Cross Blue Shield card was charged this day, along with a co-pay for absolutely a waste of time. Ill be making an appointment with Dr Mozen. Please, please let patients know that there are no doctors available.
I found this place for a family member that needed a pre op asap. Was here during a weekend in October. The process went very smooth and the best thing about it that his primary care doctor needed a 7 day notice and we didn’t even make a reservation to this clinic. They have staff that can speak other languages than English so that is a plus. Super friendly staff.
Quality care performed efficiently.I have been coming here for almost 10 years now and never have been disappointed with my visit. Recently came in on Christmas Eve, staff was welcoming and friendly as always. I was seen in a timely manner and my visit still felt personable but not too long.
I have been there twice now. Once with my daughter and once with my son. My daughter sprained her ankle and we were seen by a doctor within half an hour. She had an X-ray and was diagnosed with a sprain by the doctor. Her ankle was wrapped and taken care of all within an hour or two. I am a big fan of Rochester Urgent care and would recommend it for those type of emergencies when a hospital room is not really needed.
My daughter has had ear infections in the past, but has never complain about ear pain before. She has been sick for almost a week, with ón and off fever, cough but still functioning. Tonight, she went to bed early but couldnt sleep and then started to cry heavily until she finally told me her ear hurt. She usually doesnt complain, so I worried and wanted to have her checked. I saw I could still make it on time before they closed. Got there and the first thing the woman at the front desk was that they closed in 5 minutes, that next time I should try to get there earlier... Duh it was an emergency, not like I planned to get there just for fun... She was very rude and when I was trying to find my daughters insurance card (hubby took her to the ped the last time so I didnt realize I didnt have the card) and she still very rude and making me rush... In the end we didnt stay, and I am grateful because based on some reviews they are not very recommended. Daughter seems to be better, will go to the pediatrician tomorrow morning. Awfullllll service.
Basically, this place is OK. I feel they need to step up their service level a bit if they want to do well in the Rochester market. My child needed support, staff was OK. Wait was over 90 minutes and it seemed to defeat the purpose of seeking any care there urgently. I was intrigued that there was nothing entertaining for children in the waiting room. All in all, I am glad that my child has no major issues and the team there knew their business.
Over the weekend, I was experiencing really bad stomach pains. I stayed with a friend who lived in Rochester. I do not. I am not familiar with the area what so ever. I did a search on urgent cares in the area, and this is the first one that showed up. My friend drove me here, and I was immediately seen. The doctor who saw me asked a lot of questions and really did his best to help with the pain. They prescribed me some medicine, and I feel so much better. I would highly recommend this urgent care!
I took my son here because of a severe toothache and was initially displeased with the service. However, after writing a negative review I received a phone call addressing my concerns. This in itself tells me that this is an organization that wants to service people in need and cares about comments that are made. After speaking with this individual I have to say that things may not have been perfect but they were acceptable. The receptionist did not initially provide me with what I needed but did later on during the visit and apologized for the error. I was hasty in my review and wanted to correct what was written.
Waiting more than 3hours, none answer phone callsUPDATE:- same things happened yesterday, calling none answer the phone, I went in person to get my result the lady was in front desk told me that they just locked the system & she can’t go back to it & none know how to go back or help her to login again, when I maintained to her that none answering the phone she said there’s 5lines ringing at the same time & they can’t answer all the lines, this’s ridiculous & unprofessional from them. I will wait to see if I receive a call from them today about my result. For the manager of the urgent care please don’t ask to call because already none answering the phone & even when I choose the option talk with the manager no answer & your mail box is full can’t leave a message for you.
My experience at Rochester urgent care in Rochester Hills has always been a positive one. Today I came in with toe pain and it was worsening over the weekend. I tried to go to my primary care doctor but they had no appointment available. I arrived at RUC at 10:15 and I was out by 11:35. Dr.Srikishna was very compassionate and genuinely wanted to get to the bottom of the pain. She really cared. Diagnosis was gout. Gave me a prescription and I was on my way. To follow up with my primary care doctor. Thank you
Have gone a few times over the years. Progressively has gotten slower. 1/13 took my daughter in. 6:30 pm one person checking out one person in front of us. Waited an hour to be taken to a room then saw the NP she kept asking the same questions I kept giving her the same answers only stated differently. She was throughly confused. (My daughters earring cut her ear causing her ear to swell cheeks to be red and flushed and cheek to swell) left us to write a script for antibiotics. We left the room as it was 100 degrees in there. Took her longer to write the script than examine my dayghter. Went up to the front desk to wait. Several times I walked up to the window where the nurse assistant and receptionist walked away to back room to pretend as tho they couldnt see me. Waste of 2.5 hours!!! I never used the antibiotics as I was not comfortable with the np diagnosis
Honestly I do not recommend anyone coming here, staff was rude and childish. I have never had a doctor speak to me like this (I am proned to ear infections on my left ear and I have to use my nail sometimes to clean just incase(only thing that helps me from getting one) her response was eww eww ewww what doctor says that infront of a patient? I was in complete shock, I thought I was speaking to a child for a second. They make you wait for a while for no reason I was the only one there which didnt make sense. DO NOT GO THERE!
I was treated poorly on the phone. And yelled at. They told me I didnt have a uti based on urine they took 4 days before hand. I didnt have uti symptoms then. I had a kidney stone. Uti symptoms came two days after and they refused to believe me based on a test that was taken before I had uti symptoms. I went to my regular doctor because I could finally get in. Guess what. I have a uti. Which this place couldnt seem to comprehend. Then they tried to give me an antibiotic I was allergic to when they had a list of what Im allergic to. I will be disputing medical charges since they misdiagnosed me. They can pay for their own mistake and Im glad I got what was really wrong taken care of before it got really serious. Utis can become dangerous when not treated and this place refused to believe me and yelled at me. Never go here. Front desk rude and awful. Hands up on you and refuses to take blame. We treated you the best we could my butt. You ask for a manager and they dont let you speak to one. Unprofessional when they misdiagnose you and refuse to believe it. They were unhelpful and rude When you tell your primary Doctor the urgent care you went to and they tell you never to go there that they are terrible DONT GO THERE.
The cashier told me that my insurance will take care of my expenses,1 month later i get a letter in the mail stating that i have to pay for my vist.the doctor wasnt friendly at all.horrible place Wont suggest going there. they are trying to steal your money250 dollars just for an XRay
Its worth the time to drive the extra mile or two to head to beaumont if you need help. This place is awful. The treatment here did more damage than the injury. They are incapable of processing billing or payments. I had to go there for a work-related injury in May 2011. They supposedly tried to send the claim to my company and never paid. Rather than try to contact me, or send me a bill they thought the best option was to wait 2 years and turn me into collections. They never once called me, or sent a bill. Now Im out of pocket the expense because its too late to file the claim. All of the hassle could have been avoided with one phone call, or bill sent to my address. Avoid this place at all costs. If youre injured theyre probably going to do you more harm than good.
Our friend , who had missed a curb and fell face down on a sidewalk in Mackinac City had a severe cut on the bridge of her nose which was treated on site by a man visiting Mackinaw from Illinois & an EMT, with butterfly bandage, band aids, pressure, & ice.Her wrist was hurting. As we were on our way home, he suggested that we take her to Urgent Care at home and have the cut and wrist examined. We brought her to this facility. The Doctor (?)at this facility never introduced himself, asked what happened, refused to look at the cut, said for her to put neosporin on it. He did order an X-ray of the wrist and misapplied an oversized ace bandage. When asked about possible concussion he said she would have to go to the emergency room and have a ct scan. He did not treat just gave instructions for emergency room treatment. As to the cut he refused the second time to look at it. We were in the treatment room as patient advocates, with permission of the nurse and patient. He refused to answer our concerns and said he needed to talk toHis patient, we left the room and she received no further treatment. He never expressed any care, concern or interest in his (patient).. This is the worse Urgent Care facility I have ever seen, and seriously question the doctor
Cannot keep track of medical records or payment. I was forced to pay a collection debt of 50 dollars twice because they are incompetent and cant keep track of their records Dont come here. The staff is awful as well.Edit. Your response is unprofessional and quite honestly, you can not tell me that this is not a reflection on how your facility operates. Your the company that hired the billing department. This was handled last week, which is why Im wondering why you are even responding to this now. Did I also mention before that my previous visits your staff was rude and unprofessional? All you had to say was we have the issue resolved and we apologize for the incovience. I have also asked that you never speak with me again. So this review will stay put on your page, as you have proven to me that you do not handle issues professionally and maturely. You can think of this as unjust as you want but clearly you just proved me right. So now everyone else can see that as well. I hope this will be the last you speak to me as you will not like my next action if you dont. Also, you cant tell me to give the billing company a bad review without giving me the name? Might want to change companies. Thats just poor use of your resources honestly. So give me the name. Ill be happy to give them the same courtesy. :)
I went in to get a test and they told me 3-7 days for the results. It is now day 7 and I have been calling the office multiple times for the past 3 days and not one time has anyone answered the phone. After about a minute of the phone ringing you get disconnect. No answering machine or anything.
I went in Monday to see if I had the flu the doctor just checked my ears and throat and said it’s the flu. No flu check no chest X-ray. Turns out I have pneumonia! Could have literally died. Now it’s thursday and I suffered for 3 days and took tamiflu when I don even have the flu! Luckily at the hospital now but that urgent care doctor is an idiot.
Went in for a spider bite that got infected. Ladies at the front desk and the nurses were very kind, but the doctor who saw me was very rude, opened the door while my leg was exposed for everyone in the office to see, got visibly upset when I couldn’t remember the name of my medication I was on, and grilled me as to why I didn’t just go to my General Practitioner (which was closed at the time). I don’t want to ever go here again.
Medical licenses need to be revoked. My brother is permanently disabled because of their negligence. A simple steroid injection in his buttocks was administered incorrectly by an untrained professional. We were then told that if we thought something was wrong (his leg completely lost feeling) we should go to the ER because they werent going to do anything. Please.. please choose a different care center if you have a health issue. No more harm should come from this place.
I wish I could give them negative stars!! My daughter took her 21 month old son on a Sunday night because of chest congestion and what we thought was the beginning of croup. The Dr checked him over and claimed that he just needed to cough to get the mucus up, he checked his ears and throat and said they were all clear. Needless to say, after a visit to his Dr the next morning, he is diagnosed with croup, double ear infection and throat infection!! This Dr should not have a license!!
TERRIBLE! I was misdiagnosed and given a 7 day steroid pack to help any swelling that the DR didnt even see in my ear! This place is a joke and my self diagnosis was correct, while the Drs diagnosis was made up and completely wrong. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL PROLONG ANY ISSUES YOU HAVE AND MAKE THINGS WORSE
Only been here twice and first time had the same experience...the waited was longer than I expected. 1 hour waited in the lobby...extra 30 mins wait in the room waiting for the doc. Does this place only have one doctor? For sure I am not coming back. I dont recommend this place to anyone who is in need of urgent care.
Horrible place. Dont waste your time here. They are rude and nasty. No one spoke to me in a nice tone they all question you a hundred times on why you need to come and try to tell you why you don’t need the test. None of the people who work here are nice. Find a different place to go to and don’t waste your time here.
Worst exp ever.. they are just minting money for doing nothing.. plz stay away from this urgent care... 1 lady fromt door is very very rude name is april i think... i had a pus and very painful finger so went for urgent care the doc dnt do anything and told me cannot be done anything just wait and watch why are they getting paid for ??? If i have to wait and watch.. they shud refund my money.. worst exp ever
I can second the last response, staff is rude, waiting room was 84 degrees, almost ready to pass out and throw up from heat exhaustion, asked them down the heat or to turn on the air they said nothing they can do about it. After the doctor visit, I relilized that it was a waste of my time and the worst experience in my life.

2022-01-19I am so grateful I have found an excellent urgent care facility who is professional, yet takes the time to be a caring facility, listening and helping each time I need medical attention. I am treated with respect in a kind and friendly manner. I have recommended this facility to all my friends and associates. Finding a facility which gives the best care and best attitude is so important to me. The Rochester hills urgent care has served me for many years and I have never been disappointed with my care. Dr. Bauer was excellent in listening as I presented my concerns. Megan, and Morgan were kind, welcoming and did an excellent job in testing for Covid 19. Please give praise to this facility for a job and service of excellent service to all who choose to use their facility. Congratulations for a service well provided.

2022-02-08Their service is highly professional. I have sent them an email to ask about the PCR test, and they replied within short notice. The staff was waiting for us when we got there. It was very quick getting my son the test. Thank you so much for your amazing service.

2022-06-07Updating to 3 stars. Had issues with the physician I saw. However Ive been coming to this location for over 20 years and never had an issue with their physicians before this one. The girls behind the counter and the supervisor Dominique that I spoke with were all great.

2022-04-12My daughter was treated on Sunday after a bad fall roller skating. Our Provider Lauren Bauer, NP-C and the rest of the staff were amazing with my child and my fears. Thank you for knowing your stuff and speaking up based on your understanding of Medicine. You caught the broken growth plate the Radiologist had missed and saved my kiddo for further injury and pain by not sending us home to rest. I am truly grateful!!!!!

2022-07-15Staff kind and friendly. Always have had good service here for covid tests and other health issues. Only time service takes awhile is when people are traveling or a covid wave comes in and people need to get tested. Try to come at times that aren’t busy and you will get great service.

2022-05-09I wanted to get my PCR done during my work break The service is so slow even after 2 hours later I’m still sitting waiting for someone to attend me. It’s like they were super busy either just 2-3 people sitting in the lobby.I walked out after 2 1/2 hours later without getting the test done.

2022-05-133 hours after we left they called for the height and weight for the script…..seems like a standard ask when in the office. 5 hours after we left they still do not have my script sent into the pharmacy. After 4 calls between the pharmacy and back to them, they still will not actually cal it into the pharmacy. An hour later they still did not put it in. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone, it is by far the worst medical facility I have ever been to and will never go here again.
