Such a wonderful place to get an eye exam. I was new to contacts and the technician that helped me out was so patient when teaching me about my contacts. The Girls up front were also so nice and helpful and helped me pick out some beautiful sunglasses. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good eye doctor.
It’s a shame, I would love to give a better review because the doctors here are good. But the employees are far from it. The staff is changing constantly, always on their phones at the desk and only willing to give you extra help if you are gonna give them 700+ dollars. I have Medicaid and wanted to upgrade but was basically told to hurry up while the lady next to me got 5 star treatment and sat at the desk for an hour plus. I always tell anyone I know, STAY AWAY from the eye place across from chili’s at the mall. Will continue to do so.
I have had such an amazing experience working with Tiffany. I really wanted a specific set of frames and she helped me to custom order them. She also made sure I was getting the very best deals, as I am interested in purchasing sunglasses and regular glasses. I’m really looking forward to going back and working with her again soon to pick out a new pair of frames! My whole family comes to Auburn Hills Eye Care and has had a great experience there.
I have been a patient here for years. Love all the staff from the Drs. To the front desk. Picking out new frames with the girls makes a usually stressful thing lots of fun.I would and have highly recommend this office

Ive been going to Auburn Hills Eye Care for 6 years now, and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so patient and professional. The office is always well maintained. I love the personal experience, like theyve known you forever. I also found out about an eye condition I have and I am so grateful because it was caught early. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and doctors!!
I had my first eye appointment yesterday and felt at ease and listened to. I have had bad eye straining issues, headaches, and the eye doctor explained things to me clearly and was very helpful in helping me understand how to better my eye vision and its health. One of the workers there also helped me pick out a great pair of glasses that I am excited to wear. They introduced me to Eyezen, which Im anxious to see how I will adjust, but they said if I end up not liking it at all that I can switch back to regular lenses at no cost.
What a horrible experience with Auburn Hills Eye Care. I went for my exam, got new prescription slight change they said. Glasses ordered, had an old pair made into shades also. Picked up Glasses wore them about 2 1/2 wks returned. Both pair had to be remade, what a waste of money out of my pocket $250.00? For the shades. And all they could say was Im sorry yes Auburn Hills Eye Care you are sorry for inadequate service.
I highly recommend Auburn Hills Eye Care. Doctors and Office Staff are friendly and helpful. Tiffany is the Office Manager. She went above and beyond to reassure me about various concerns I had. I feel comfortable getting my eye care needs met there!
The optometrists are great, love the doctors. However the reason for the low rating would be the receptionist Kathleen I think her name is. She is very unprofessional and rude. I ordered my glasses and they told me they would rush them as I was going out of town in 3 weeks. They said it would take about 2 weeks for me to get them back. I never got a phone call that they came in or were ready. I called them while I was out of town and they told me they came the week before. I spoke with Kathleen and she didnt seem to know anything. I asked why no one called when they came in and she told me they did. I had to reiterate no one called me or I would have come in to pick them up before I left town. She seemed to careless. Everytime I call there she answers and places me on a long hold and never comes back to the phone. The other day I called was on hold for 15 mins. Hung up and had to call back luckly when I called back someone other than Kathleen answered. There was another incident when I called to ask a question she couldnt give me an actual answer she always sounds like she doesnt want to help you. She is the reason for the low rating. She need s to improve in her customer service skills because she has none.
AH Eye Care is an awesome eye clinic! They still saw me eventhough I was late. All of the staff are knowledgeable on the services that they provide. They are very, very clean during COVID-19. Everytime I go I receive exceptional service. Please Visit AH EYE CARE
Doctors and staff are great! Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Dr. Mike took the time to make sure my contact prescription was correct and the best it could be! Everything is quick and easy, and I also appreciate that they were able to ship my contacts to my house.
The staff and doctors have been extremely helpful. They wash the equipment in front of you so that you know that has truly been done. They have been able to fit my husband in quickly for an emergency.
My first time going there.. The staff and Doctor was very friendly. The only Cons I have is the length of time it takes to get your glasses. My prescription didnt change much and I have gone to other places and received my glasses within a week.
Don’t come here to purchase glasses or get eye exams. My contacts are fitted incorrectly and the glasses I bought here broke in just over a year, and are irreparable. I need to buy a new pair and it sure as hell won’t be from these scammers
I had an appt with Dr. Nathaniel last month and All I have to say is that she is amazing...she literally saved my eye sight with her persistency...I got my 2nd opinion because of her....and because of that I am getting the proper treatment for my eye disease...I am extremely grateful for her!!!!
I love Auburn Hills Eye Care. I am over due for an appointment, but I took my grandmother a few weeks ago. She wanted me to write this review. The doctor and staff were fantastic. The only thing she was uncomfortable about was the way they treated her medical and medication information. She thought only the doctor should see it, not everyone at the desk. I don’t think much about those things, but it upset her. She is a private person anyway, and passing her medical information around at an eye appointment to staff that are not in the medical profession made her cry when we left, but she’s okay now. She will go back because I told her I would ask them to be more discreet and she loved Dr. Duerr (sp?). Now that I am thinking about it, why shouldnon-medical personnel see anyone’s private medical information? Anyway, it’s a lovely place with great nearby shopping and eating places.
I will never purchase any eyewear or go there for any eye exams. And i will also tell my friends and family not to go there as well. Me and my family have been going there for many years and up until now we have always had good experiences. Until recently when an eyeglass tech broke the arm of my glasses while attempting to adjust them. She told me she would talk to her manager and call me back. I had to call the place back a week later because i never heard back from anyone. The tech procedes to tell me that theres nothing they can do about her breaking my glasses and that she didnt break them on purpose....unbelievable. What ever happen to companies caring about the customer? I dont recommend this eyeglass store unless you dont mind having to pay out of your own pocket for someone elses miatakes

Best eye care center in town. Upon visiting i’m always greeted right away. The wait is always 5 minutes or less. The staff provides great customer service, explains everything they’re going to do, and also help you pick out the best glasses! The optometrist always answers questions and concerns. I’ll never go anwhere else!

This is my families 2nd year going here. Last year I was urged to go with Progressive lenses which NEVER worked. This year I adamantly rejected Progressive lenses and got 2 separate pair. Tiffany helped me this year and I will continue to ask for her as she seems to be knowledgeable and sharpe! sHE ADJUSTED MY FRAMES FROM LAST YEAR AND IT WAS LIKE SOMEON ETURNED THE LIGHTS ON! Thats all it took? WOW. The one incident I had this year was the girl who tried to help me day one DID NOT listen to me as I told her I could get a second pair for $20. Thank GOD for Tiffany. She not only listened to me but I ended up getting my 2nd pair and I am a happy camper. Five stars for TIFFANY
I have been going to Auburn Hills Eye Care for the last 30 + year (formerly Pontiac Eye Clinic) and I definitely recommend them to everyone I know. I have been to other optometrists and opthamologists when I lived in other cities and none of them have ever come close to the competent care that Auburn Hills Eye Care provides. The daignostics and testing are excellent and very thorough (one of the most important aspects). They take the time to address my needs, find the exact products to suit my situation and budget, and give me comprehensive care throughout the entire process. My prescriptions have always been accurate and the contacts and eye glasses that I purchase are always just right. The staff members are very helpful, knoweldgeable, and informative. I trust Auburn Hills Eye Care to care for my vision needs and will continue to visit them for many years to come.
Extremely nice doctor and staff. Took my daughters there for back to back appts. I know working with kids can be frustrating but they never once seemed annoyed or tried to rush us through. Prices seem fair too. We will be going back for sure.

Ive been coming to Karen for years for my frames. She takes the time to listen to what you want, and really wants to help. Some of the staff can be abrasive, but if you just firmly tell them what you will and wont put up with, youll be fine. In my opinion, Karen is worth any trouble other employees might give me.

I had an injury to my eye and stopped in to see if I could be seen. I had an apt with the hour and received excellent care. This is a great place to receive routine and emergency care.

So i call the place to set up a appointment for my kid in Jan. They tell me to call back at the end of feb. Because they were completely booked till march so i call today they tell me they are completely booked till May so call back at the end of April. So now Im just going somewhere else screw that place they suck!!!!
These ladies saved my life!! I broke my only pair of contacts while on vacation. They gave me a free pair to head back home and hold me over to get to my doctor. Im referring my friends and family and anyone in the Auburn hills area!

This was one of my top most places to go to when it came to me and my children. I also didnt mind recommending others because they are good. After the pandemic, of course my kids havent been seen, but once I took them the eye doctor was very rude about the way I handle the situation with my kids care. The last I checked he get paid off of me,and everyone has a situation, and should not feel like their being judged.

2022-03-06This place is fantastic. The experience I have had with them is the last few years with 2 sets of glasses now has been outstanding. They are nice, personable, professional and attentive. I had an issue with my second pair of glasses and they went above and beyond to make sure they were correct and that I was satisfied. Highly recommend. This is where you should go for your eyewear needs.

2021-09-18AMAZING!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Completely satisfied; a comfortable, friendly and fun experience. I will be a customer/patient for LIFE!!!They energy in the office was all a buzz, like busy bee hive, everyone friendly. I went in without an appointment just to browse the frames available. As I strolled looking at all the frames (such a HUGE selection) Tiffany approached me and asked me what I was looking for, she asked me to show her a couple of frames I liked. I showed just a couple that I seen, she then asked me a couple more questions and then had me go sit at her fitting desk. In a couple minutes she came over to join me, with like 20+ frames for me to try on. She had the ones I had pointed plus some things she thought I might like, based on my answers to my questions. The worst part about the visit was that I had a hard time choosing, she had brought over so many amazing frames it was very difficult. I finally picked a pair, and then picked a pair of sunglasses too! Looking forward to future visits -

2021-03-11First time patient reporting in a few hours after going in.Appointment was at 10 and I was out the door with a prescription a few minutes after 11, I was very impressed.I was missing some of my insurance information but they helped me get it all sorted out very quickly.Staff was friendly, everything was clean and tidy, ample space between patients, staff all keeping their masks on and secure!Overall, 10/10. Im a fairly critical person but I cant imagine anything they could have done to make my experience better.Ill definitely be coming back (and not just because I have to pick up my glasses!).

2021-03-18From the optometrists down to the administrative staff, they are always so pleasant, caring and attentive. They balance that with being prompt, efficient and skilled at what they do. It’s the only medical appointment I don’t dread. My needs are heard, supported, and fixed. Great with my young child, and he loves going too. Love the entire staff and I highly recommend them!

2021-09-14The eye technician on the floor that would help you with getting your classes was rude, she refused to help me. When I went to pick up my glasses she was also extremely rude, and unhelpful. Got an attitude because my glasses needed to be adjusted. Highly do not recommend and unprofessional. Would not be referring anymore I have came here for over 20 years.

2020-10-29Takes amazing care of their patients! For 3 years I have been treated like part of a family here! #1 I ran out of contacts and the staff immediately gave me 10 pair at no charge. #2 After getting in for an appointment within a couple of days I was given another 10 pair until my year supply came in. #3 I dropped into the office to check in on my order and within 2 minutes I was given the specific tracking number and yet another 10 pair at no cost. She was so thoughtful - I didnt even ask for more contacts but she understood that wearing a mask with glasses was not an option for me. The level of genuine care is off the charts! Much love.

2021-02-06It is hard to believe I first interacted with this Eye Center over 20 years ago. What seems even harder to believe is 40 years ago I graduated from college. Many things have changed but the one thing that has never changed is the consistency of excellence I have received from Auburn Hills Eye Center. I have been to various places to get my glasses following other people’s suggestions but I have never found any other place that has taken better care of me from the exam, to my choice of quality & stylish designer frames, follow up service and just bottom line kindness from every staff member. Whether I’m spending $5 or a $1,000 or even nothing when they are fixing damage I inflicted to my frames their training and interaction has just been superb. Today in this post-truth culture where every truth is the next post I had to take time to thank Auburn Hills Eye Center for being one area of my life that has been hassle free and a joy to do business with. And that’s the truth!!!

2021-07-13I have been going to Auburn Hills Eye Care for about 10 years and have had the same insurance with no problems with coverage. This year, they contacted me to make an appt and then called me back to say they are not in network with my insurance and if I still want to keep my appt, I may have to pay part out of pocket. There was no attempt to figure it out for sure or work with me since I’ve been a patient for so long to make sure I could come in. It was just, “you might have to pay, so maybe you’ll want to find a different place.” So, I cancelled my appt after their warning, went on my insurance website to find a provider in network and GUESS WHO WAS LISTED?!? Yes, Auburn Hills Eye Care - in network. I think good customer service is doing everything you can for your customers to keep their loyalty. I guess they don’t need my business, anymore.- Cory Thompson
