I have been going to Authority Accounting for 2 years. I was referred by friends who are long-time users. I was very satisfied with my 2018 filing, which was complicated due to me being a private practice that year. This year, the online system had a snafu and double booked us, they still got us in at our scheduled time and whipped through our return (no private practice this year). I found them all pleasant and professional.
The owner of this company Eva is a liar and a thief, she was supposed to do a workers comp audit for me told me for months that she was working on it only to find out she never made one call, when I ask for proof she all the sudden had a death in the family or was very sick or just would not respond to me at all, I authorized her to do an electronic check for $1,000 to do my taxes and take care of my audit which she has yet to do, and she turned around and made the check out for $1,300 to herself. Now she has went MIA and will not respond or send me any of my tax documents so that I can get the audit cleared myself, Ive had to contact an attorney and Ive had to reach out to the Internal Revenue Service directly to report her. My recommendation is if you have used her you need to follow up and make sure your taxes were done correctly, this woman is a fraud. She is now being investigated.

2021-04-24My experience was nit a good one. I made an appt online for a Saturday morning (at least that is what I thought I was doing). I showed up and no one else did. No one answered a phone. I went across the street to Premiere accounting and immediately got my taxes done.
