Comment: This has to be one of worst untrustworthy dealership I’ve ever dealt with in my 67 years. I went there on 6/4/24 to purchase a car. Upon arriving I informed the salesman that I was pre approved by Capital One financial and I did not want a credit score done. We discussed my trade in and what I wanted for it. The salesman returned and they offered $1800 below blue book. Stating that the car needed 2 tires and that would cost $500. I stated tires for a Hyundai Elantra don’t cost $500. After further discussion they agreed to pay me what I was asking for, for my trade in. We completed the purchase of the vehicle I wanted. A few days after the purchase I checked my credit history and discovered that they had done 4 hard pulls on my credit report. On 6/20/24 I received a payment letter from AutoNation Finance that they were the lien holder and that my payments here due on 7/19/24. I called AutoNation and was basically told to bad and if I didn’t like it to refinance with Capital One. Do not do business with AutoNation.I spoke to the General manager who treated like he was a used car salesman. He completely insulted my intelligence. He told me that Capital One refused to finance the vehicle I was purchasing. And his only solution for my unhappiness was to say that his staff should have informed me of such, and that would be a training issue. I then told him that I had contacted Capital One to refinance my vehicle. Which I could tell by the tone of his voice was a shock. Capital One is now the lien holder for my vehicle. Which clearly proves that it appears that AutoNation attempted to scam me. Again I would not recommend this dealer under any circumstance.

Comment: I’ll start this off by saying that I bought my Chevy Equinox from this dealership, brand new in 2018. Since I bought it I have only been here for all my oil changes and anything that needed repairs- even though I could have gone somewhere cheaper for repairs, I stuck to the dealership since I thought that they would do great work. The customer service experience alone is enough to never want to deal with any Chevy dealership ever again. I won’t ever buy a Chevy again. They have not apologized or taken responsibility for poor service and communication over the course of 3 weeks. Even contacting the corporate number was a waste of time. They have yet to call back. Nobody has reached out to apologize or taken accountability for anything. I’m a healthcare worker who does home health. I NEED my car for work everyday to drive to my patient’s houses in the valley. It’s my livelihood. These people don’t care and they never offered me a car to use in any of this process. So I’ve had to pay for a rental car. I had to pay a $225 diagnostic fee that I don’t believe I should have had to pay. My car had no issues before coming here to get an oil change. I’ll never recommend Chevy to anyone. I will spread the terrible experience I’ve had with them and corporate as much as I can so that nobody gets screwed over like I did.Tuesday, May 14th: my husband decided to just take the car up to the Chevy dealership. He explained to them the problems that have all now come up out of nowhere. - brakes are making a clicking noise (I have a video of this) - I would stop at a light and the car took a bit to really go— like cars were honking at me but I couldn’t do anything since it came out of nowhere - Multiple lights popped up on dashboard - The front right tire sounded like it was about to fall off Here’s where the problems really began. The customer service at Chevy told us that they were really busy and would have to schedule an appointment to have the tire looked at on another day. They also told my husband that they didn’t touch anything on my car, all they did was rotate tires & change the oil. Do you think the manager and service guy even took a look at my car? NO. They just automatically got defensive and said there’s no way to prove my car wasn’t already having these issues. SO EVEN THOUGH THE DEALERSHIP ROTATED MY TIRES & I AM NOW TELLING THEM THAT A TIRE SOUNDS LIKE IT’S GOING TO FALL OFF, THEY WILL STILL LET YOU DRIVE AWAY. My problem is this— I don’t care if you’re busy because so am I. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation a few days before. YOU messed my car up so YOU should take responsibility and fix my tire right now because if it falls off when I drive away, I’m in danger. Clearly they don’t care though and that’s been obvious throughout this. We ended up bringing the car to them on Friday, May 17th to get the tire fixed and also have a diagnostic test done which costs $225. Fast forward to Monday- my husband calls twice to get the status on the car, but is told someone will call back. Nobody ever did. On Tuesday he calls twice, nobody ever calls back. Wednesday, May 22nd: my husband goes up to the dealership and demands an update since nobody has time to call back. Finally they tell him that they’re still working on it. He did get loud with them, but we were tired of the unprofessional, nonchalant, carelessness that we had been receiving.There’s more, but it ends with me going in to pickup my car and waiting 40 minutes before leaving without my car because they LOST my car keys. Of course they didn’t contact me back at all to let me know when they had them. No apologies either.

Comment: I stopped in here today to look at an equinox. The seals guy did not seem to care but I wanted to make sure I could afford the vehicle before I went through the starting the purchase process. He asked for basic information my registration He said he needed my keys so that I could make sure they worked they wanted to take a picture of my keys. Very strange request but I gave them to help. When he returned I did not notice he did not have them with him. After a few moments I asked him about them he informed me that he gave them to someone else to go out and search see my vehicle take pictures and do whatever they were going to do. They did not have permission to do that I didnt even know the person going through my vehicle there was a $1000 cash in my local apartment he had seen there were items in the trunk that did not belong to me that I am responsible or. I went outside to find a heavy set blonde lady going through my vehicle. I told her to stop what she was doing she copped an attitude. I ask her if my key is in registration she threw my keys at me I had to retrieve them from the ground I followed her in to get my registration the meanwhile she complaining about not being able to do her job for whatever reason and Mumbling something under her voice about not able to do an appraisal which I never asked them to do As of yet. When she got my registration she basically threw that at me as well when I tried to explain to her that they had no right to violate my personal property and make me feel vulnerable uneasy she walked away complaining ignored me completely I say she stumped away and slammed the door in my face. At which point my vulnerability anxiety and panic turn to anger for that Im sorry I dont usually curse at people even though she did deserve it. I received my item from the floor and proceeded to leave their establishment as to the salesman and youre coming out and basically threatening me from standing on top of a curb. Telling me I cant talk to his employees that way and I need to leave and never return. I tried to explain to him what was going on and he need to hear my side of the story and he said no he didnt I need to get in my car and Leave and not come back so I did. Being concerned that they were called police and tried to have me arrested. About a mile down the road I pulled over called autonations corporate office as well as Chevrolet corporate office devile complaints, This is where I discovered the $1000 for missing. Knowing that if I went back to saying anything they would call the police to try and have me arrested I have opted to file a police report and I will be pressing charges to the fullest extent of the law this is premeditated Grand Larsen. If I were you looking for a chevy I would go to any one of the dealerships within 20 miles of mess if this were the last Chevrolet dealership in California I would buy a Ford.Do yourself a favor in a steer clear of this place they will rip you off run you over and treat you like garbage. And the sales managers probably in on the thefft they pull out of customers cars.

However, Lorenzo kindly took my car right away and had a ride home in a blink of an eye!When the work was finished, Lorenzo left me a message and the ride back was another blink of an eye. Lorenzo even spent time helping look for my car keys whicb were home and car still worked! My car was returned to me cleaned and in excellent shape! Comment: I have bought a used vehicle from AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia and since i got the car it has been a headache. The first week I had the vehicle it had a coolant leak and i figure i take my local dealership to have it fixed i tried calling the sales person to see if it will be covered and no answer i sent out multiple emails and no answer so i paid it out of my pocket which was almost 2k. A week goes by and the out of the sudden it stalls on me so i had it towed to the dealership and since its been stuck there every time i call and ask for an update i am told that the advisor is busy and he will return my call which till this date no update whatsoever its ridiculous that the vehicle has spend more time in a repair shop than in my possession. The vehicle been there for 3 weeks now and i have no idea whats wrong whit it.

Comment: Before you buy a car here check YELP reviews..So I bought a 2024 chevy colorado, a week later its leaking oil on my new concrete, thought it was condensation .Tried talking to sales manager who sold me car, he didnt want to talk to me. Service guy was okay but cant get to my new truck that I just bought from AutoNation Chevy valencia till Thursday. So now miss work to take truck, my new concrete stained and dont know how long I will be without a vehicle. They will be your best friend to sell you a vehicle then throw you under the rug once they get there sale. Beware...Update week and a half later they fixed rear main seal test drove truck and still leaking, so that wasnt the problem now they have to call chevy engineers to see if they can figure out problem. Think they sold me a Lemon

Comment: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They will literally lie to you to get your money. I bought a used Durango from this Chevy Autonation in November 2023. I was told it went through a 100+ point inspection prior to buying the vehicle. 4 months later, and the battery dies. That cost me $530 cause they said it wasnt covered under my 6 year warranty even though I was told that it, Covers everything from top to bottom! when I purchased the SVU. A week after I replaced the battery, I went to do an oil change and noticed a coolant leak. I go to check the coolant levels to top it off before I can make a service appointment, and the cap to the reservoir is broken! The top screws off, but the rest of the housing is stuck in the reservoir, making it impossible to fill up! 100+ point inspection, my butt! They didnt do anything prior to me buying the vehicle!So I called to make an appointment with service because I was told by my sales rep. that I had to come to THIS SEPCIFIC Autonation for the first service because I bought it here. I confirmed this same thing when I called the service center. They said that I needed to bring it here because I bought it here. I told the service center rep. that I needed an appointment for a coolant leak and asked her how long it would take....she said they should get it done the same day. I told her that was perfect because I live AN HOUR AND a HALF AWAY.I get to my appointment today 30 minutes early, and the first thing the service rep. assigned to me say, Were looking at 2+ weeks and that they dont even have an engine tech on Saturdays........HUH?! When I tell him I called for the appointment and explained my whole situation they told me Saturday was fine and that I could get it all taken care of he says, Yeah, thats not true. We dont even diagnose on the weekend. I dont know why they told you that. ALSO, its untrue that you had to come here even though we told you thatLook....if I had to drop the car off, thats fine. I can make the arrangements. Thats LITERALLY why I asked when I made the appointment!The options that I was given were, call a Dodge by you....call Dodge Autonation...or Chevy can do it but not today and I will have to leave my car and no, they wont even cover a rental even though they told me I HAD to come to them and that it would be in a few HOURS....not a few weeks!Its literally the biggest scam place I have ever seen. They will say any lie to get your money!How are you a DEALERSHIP, and youre going to sell a car with a broken part but say you did a full inspection?! AND with a battery that dies 4 months after you get the car?? Then youre not even going to offer ANYTHING to make it right?! I get that its not covered under warranty but you sold it either knowning damn well that this stuff was like this or sold it without doing the full multipoint inspection you said you did! Autonation is a HUGE company, not a parking lot dealership, so I didnt expect to get shafted in such a sheisty way.Go anywhere else but here! This is a shady, SHADY dealership!

Comment: To begin with not happy with the customer service representatives, who answer the calls to set up an appointment, they set me up for an express oil change appointment and I scheduled it accordingly before work so I can be in and out within an hour and also said there is a discount coupon that applies on that, when I reached there, I was told we don’t do express anymore so that threw me off and I was just not happy with that. If you guys don’t do express, why are the customer service representative setting it up and messing everybody schedule . Joe was helpful and got the work done but not happy with the phone service

Comment: I stopped by to check the Chevy Blazer EV with my family. When I got in, seems like nobody wanted to help. The person I was able to get a hold of was not even helpful, did not make eye contact, did not even ask for my name or welcomed me as a customer. He helped us to check the vehicles on the lot but then left us. If he had stayed and offered to give me numbers, he would’ve made a sale as I am ready and willing to buy or lease, but based on that experience alone, I will be taking my money elsewhere. This should’ve been my 3rd EV from this dealership and we have planned to purchase the Lyriq and Blazer this year but it looked like we will be looking at other brands after this experience.Dear Chevy Dealer Owner: This is a response to your recent comment. Mr. Holden already reach out to my wife after the incident but we already got our Lyriq from the Cadillac a few blocks from your store. Comment: Do not trust the service department, fix your car somewhere else. I brought in my corvette because belt fell off and wanted a pro to look at it. They gave me a 2 day estimate, then ignored me for 3 weeks, I went in person and they told me I needed a new engine and it would cost $20,000. I towed out my car and went to a mechanic. The repair only cost $1500 and it drives great now. Warning here to not trust the service department and get another opinion from a different mechanic to save yourself time and money.

Comment: Picture this! I drive my vehicle home just find an engine light on my dashboard after its been in the shop for several weeks. The family and I are bummed out to say the least. I have it towed back to the service center the very next day to our service advisor Lorenzo. Jack Elliot, Service Manager personally texts us back notifying that he will have a Sr. Technician inspect the issue. He confirms that the issue is unrelated to the recent repair and would like to encourage that we proceed with the repair. On his guidance we proceed with the repairs and provide feedback regarding costs and logistics retrieving the vehicle. Mr. Elliot doesnt skip a beat, in fact, he is proactive to communicate that he will attempt to explore options for our family and figure a way to get the vehicle back to our family. We are very thankful for the amazing service and for going above and beyond to turning this into a great experience. Thank you, so much AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia.

I sent him pictures including one of the missing Plug I removed from another location on the liner. It had a Part Number. Seems easy enough, order the part. But thats where everything just stopped. I got some story about that p/n not being in the system, and thats where everything just stopped.No call backs no more communication. I contacted Chevrolet, and the Dealer is Blowing them off as well. P/N 23458540 is available all over the Internet, but going the distance to take care of a customer is not something AutoNation Valencia seems to care about. I might add that they left Dirty Handprints on the Headliner and Sunvisor, and the Seat Cover on the back seat was removed and left balled up like a pile of trash. I did purchase the truck from them and they had no problem sending me multiple emails and letters to continue the extended warranty. To sum it up Take Your GM Product somewhere else for service.The only thing that has changed is that after being promised I would be reimbursed for the purchase of the Plugs at the Dealerships request from Ebay on 01-25-2024, I am still waiting. There was a response for someone at the dealer to the above review, however all my attempts to contact that person went no where. All I got was the usual With A Customer, or the Old standard Not Here Today. Even my attempt to contact the General Manager went unanswered. I got Chevrolet involved and although they have been very nice about everything, if I was just going to have to go out of pocket to resolve this, I could have bought the Plugs from Amazon for half the price. As a side note the Plugs have now been in place for over a month and a half, and they didnt just blow out or fall out. My guess would be that they were never reinstalled. Autonation...You requested a review...Well here ya go...Lets see what you do about about it.

Comment: Checked my new Silverado in for an oil change and to check why my rear view mirror camera was not working. Joe O. was my service advisor. He was nice enough and things started off smooth. They found the problem of the RVM camera quickly. It had been unplugged when I had my front windshield tinted with a clear UV protecting film and they never plugged it back in. After what was probably 10 minutes of labor for that they charged me $225...thats crazy high but my real gripe is that I never got a call that my truck was ready. I finally called 6 hours later and the girl said she had no idea if it was and didnt know where Joe was. She said he would call me back. 2 hours after that I called again and talked to receptionist who was very rude and then put me on hold for 10 minutes. I finally decided to get an uber down to their dealership (AutoNation Chevrolet was supposed to pick me up) to see what was going on and there was my truck sitting in the parking lot. I went to the service receptionist and asked why I never got a call that it was ready and she said Joe went home early. I then asked why no one else had notified me that it was ready and she just shrugged her shoulders and asked for payment! All in all a horrible experience with them!! I will NEVER return there for anything and I recommend to anyone considering going there for service to make the drive somewhere else. These people seem to just not care about you and only care about collecting their payment

My service advisor got to me about 8:15 and did not even acknowledge that they were running late. Later I received a text saying to speak to my service advisor about the inspection so I sent him a text with no response. The next day I sent a text asking for a status update and again, no response. A couple hours later I called the dealer to get an update and the calls go to an offsite location. He relayed the message to my advisor and he called me back and said my truck was ready. I asked him about not responding to the texts and his answer was that he gets busy and doesnt respond. Really??? There was no apology or anything, just I dont have time to get to all of my messages. Everyone knows that you pay more to get work done at the dealership but it should at least come with a good attitude and at least a little customer service. My advisor couldnt care less if I brought my vehicle there or not, or if I bring it there again. So..... I wont be taking it there again. The work itself seems to be done as needed though.

I had post on my previous experience on google with other dealerships, but thats a different story.I have been researching for a car for a while now and last Month (November), the high winds snapped the tree outside our house and it fell on my car. The insurance marked it a total loss and I had to look for a replacement.I had contact Tesla to look at the car and been on chat on in communication with them for a week. I then stopped after the remarks made by their CEO.I also visited CarMax. I guess the sales person didnt think I was serious enough. I checked out there BMW 530e at that location, which was a bit bigger than my 330e. But unfortunately, it had a lot of accidents. After my test drive, there was no follow up from CarMax.While I was looking, I also looked at a Kia Sorrento Plug In Hybrid. It was listed by Kia in Van Nuys as for sale, so I went there and checked out the Sorrento and it actually had Car damage from an accident but was not listed on the notes in Cargurus.I also found a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and I contacted the dealer north hollywood toyota. They told me that its not for sale on and then 2 days later, I got a notice from Cargurus that the car was sold.Luckily, I found autonation in Valencia. All through out the process they accommodated me. I been in contact with them for lets say 3-5 days. I went in on Friday to test drive the car and sleep on it. They allowed that no questions asked. If my main sales person was not there, they had someone assist me. I requested Friday night if they could charge the car so that I can test the EV range and drive, they said yes.Then I came in Saturday night with my wife and Kids. The waiting area is pretty decent and they even have a kids room.I test drove the car and it was as amazing as I expected.Since this was a preowned car, I know there will be dings and scratches. But there is one scratch that they were willing to fix the chip and schedule it.There were 2 other things that were missing from the car that I requested. The Charger for the Car since its a plug in hybrid and the 2nd key.There were able to get the charging cable to me by Monday and the key arrived Friday. I was asked to pay cost for the key as it was not included for the sale. But the cost for the key if its their cost was significantly lower than buying it from the dealership.Overall, questions were answer in a timely manner with respect and integrity.They really go above an beyond what is required of them.Thank you Roberto! No offer of help was extended to find a suitable replacement vehicle despite telling my service advisor that I needed a truck, not a camaro, so that I could maintain my business. I never received notification when all the parts were acquired and work could continue. When the work was finally done and I arrived at the dealership to collect my truck I found my truck unlocked. The truck, which still had thousands of dollars of tools and specialized equipment was parked adjacent to the road and not behind any lockable gates. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, inability to acquire parts for a new vehicle that is covered under warranty, and careless behavior shown by the dealership to a vehicle that is central to my ability to make a living.

Comment: Awful experience. Completely disorganized. Second time I’ve made appointments for regular maintenance and am told they don’t have my appointment in their system. The service advisors have no control or authority of anything it seems. I decided after the poor experience I had the 1st time, that I would go to Keyes Chevrolet instead for service. It was like night and day. Incredibly smooth. No issues. Except I had to pay out of pocket since my maintenance package is only with AutoNation. That’s why I decided to go back this second time thinking maybe the first time was just an isolated experience, and I should give them another chance. I was wrong. Once again, they had nothing on their books, the oil change and recall adjustment took four hours to complete. The shuttle service was completely disorganized as well. I spoke to other customers and they too had awful stories to tell about this service center. One suggested I call and make appointments directly through the service advisors. Otherwise, the likelihood of the appointment not showing up was high. Why should I have to do that? They have an online appointment system and a call center. The cashier and everyone there knows these issues exist, but basically have no power to do anything about it. They blame corporate. No management in sight on the weekends. No accountability. Absolute chaos.

My husband inquired about the chip for the heated steering wheel that we were told a year ago we would receive once the ship came in. All of the sudden our model does not have that option yet it is on our purchase paperwork. After waiting over an hour for the oil change appointment and seeing that the car had not been moved, my husband asked for the car. He expressed that it was unacceptable after making an appointment that they had not even taken the car back after waiting an hour. No one seemed to care and shrugged it off. Comment: Dropped my car off cause engine cooling fan would not turn off unless battery was unplugged, and engine temp would stay below 160 degrees, I spoke with representative and we both agreed that it was probably the thermostat. The technician confirmed that by codes found. I was told it would cost me $1,400 to replace thermostat, and it would take 4 hrs at $250 an hr. I personally have replaced thermostats my self and know it does not take 4 hrs. I brought car home myself and replaced it in less than an hour. If it takes your technician 4 hours to do job, than you need to hire a new technician, that price is a complete rip off. I personally will not be going back to get work done on my vehicles nor will recommend any one to go to you all for service.

I arrived for my online appointment (which I had been reminded of via email) only to find I had no appointment. I was told I could wait until others, who had appointments, could be seen. (sigh!) I made another appointment for the following week, towards the end of the day, so that my vehicle could be looked at the following day. I heard nothing all day. I finally called to find out something, anything, towards the end of the day. I asked if my vehicle was ready, and was told I would have to wait until the next day. Having heard nothing again by midday. I called again to be told the service person had pulled my truck out and had it ready for me the previous night, having not been touched at all, being misled by me into thinking I no longer wanted to wait. I hadnt said anything remotely close to that. (sigh2x!) Knowing that the issue which I brought the vehicle in for was sporadic, I had a feeling nothing might be found wrong; and asked, in that case, at least please have the oil change. I had asked this when I made the appointment. That had not been done either. It seems they are overwhelmed there. Too overwhelmed to listen to their customers. My wife drives 30 miles out of the area to have her vehicle serviced and is happy with the service she receives. After two days I am still waiting for my vehicle. I cannot, with any good conscience, recommend the AutoNation Chevrolet service department.

Comment: I took my truck in as I notice a rattling noise when first starting up. Dropped my truck off on my scheduled appointment time so they could diagnose the problem. After not hearing any updates I called approximately 4 hours later to be told they were working on it. As the day came to the close I called back again to be told they were still working on it and needed to keep the truck overnight. The following day I called around noon again to be told they were working on it and would call when ready. Second day I never heard back so they kept the truck again. Third day I called in the morning to ask for a better explanation to then be told they were having a hard time getting a technician on my truck because they were short handed. I was assured the truck would be completed and they would be in touch. Approximately 1 hour before closing I received a call explaining what they found and said they would need to order parts and to schedule repairs at a later date. As I rushed to get there before they closed I walked in to be told that they believed this rattle was due to a flap on the exhaust system that would be thousands to repair. Being a car person myself and struggling with the explanation I was given and then knowing that I had an ex-employee that worked as a tech at another Chevy dealership I explained that I wasn’t happy with the diagnosis and that I would have my ex-employee take a look at this to get a second opinion. Minutes after I said that my service rep then proceeded to say that he could provide a heavy discount over what he just quoted me in case I decided to bring it back. Feeling even more perplexed about the service experience I just received and irritated about spending the money I did to get a diagnosis I didn’t believe to be accurate that took days to present, I decided to take it to my ex-employee to have this same issue looked at.Within 2 hours my ex-employee called with a diagnosis, 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts. Truck was fixed within hours of taking it to someone that obviously knew what they were doing.Extremely unhappy and questioning if I will be back regardless of how convenient the Valencia dealership is to me.

My husband and I have bought out last four cars here and every time has been pretty terrible. One time they didn’t actually take care of a lease we traded in and it almost messed up buying our house. This time, I was trying to sell them back my car. They made me wait hours and then gave me excuses on why it took so long. Then they gave me a terribly low offer with some terrible excuse that that’s how automation does it. Now, they have been sending my husband emails regularly asking if he is still interested in selling the car. But get this, they are just spam since the person “sending” them is out of the office right now. Unless you wanted to be treated poorly I suggest buying a car elsewhere.

Comment: So this happened to me today…..Dropped my truck off at 7:30am on Monday for oil change and tire rotation at AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia. Passenger side mirror had an issue as it was not folding in, I have the extended warranty, so they filed a claim to repair. Truck was there for 3 full days, I go to pick up this morning and start looking around. Mirror works as it should. Get inside the truck and look at the dash and it says 3% oil life left…. That’s weird, ok no biggie, they forgot to clear it. I figure they had to have done it, it’s been here for 3 days, so I cleared the memory and back to 100% oil life I go. I get out to look at my tires, (I had left a mark on drivers side front rim to verify tires were rotated and to see where it goes after the rotation) the tech decided to erase my mark on the front rim with his finger leaving the cleanest spot on all four rims, so they were never rotated. Obviously he found my mark and made a conscious decision to erase it and give the illusion that the service was somehow done. Ok….. now I’m thinking what else didn’t they do?I crawl under my truck and check the oil filter, which should be new and shiny right?….NOT… the oil change and oil filter replacement was never done. The car was there for 3 full days… I was charged for services I never received. I paid for this? I went back and talked to the manager in the back office and raised all this to his attention, I got a full refund on what I paid, but it definitely didn’t restore any faith in me. I will never step foot in there again…BEWARE FOLKS!!!By the way they dinged my warranty $950 for mirror repair…… from the service I got they probably waved a magic wand on it or hit it with a hammer to get it to work again…

I left my car for repair and he changed the estimate price twice also he told me that my car was going to be ready on Friday (after 5 business days working in it) but then I called on Friday and he said it was not going to be ready until Saturday and he will call me in the morning. He never did, then I called on Saturday and found out he was off. I probably called like 6 times to get information, and I was just transferred to many voice mails. I asked to speak to the manager Rick Clark twice and he never picked up the phone nor returned the call even when I told the two recepcionists that I needed to file a complaint. Their follow-up is terrible, the customer service is a joke and it seems that the manager is either not knowing what is going on or simple dont care.

I left a message with someone at the location for the GM, Charles and a VM on the managers voice message. Very rude and HORRIBLE customer service. Scheduled online service for a routine oil change. Showed up at 10:45 before my 11 appointment. I scheduled it online with my preferred rep and was told he wasn’t scheduled for today and another advisor will help me. 30 min later! 5pm rolls around and the rep that helped us calls and says they couldn’t even get to the oil change. Waste of my day and my patience. Another thing, I purchased my car in may 2022, without the chip for backup sensors due to the national chip shortage. I asked if we will finally get it (now that it has been a year) I was advised the chip hasn’t come in. I have a three year lease and have already owned and paid for one year and the car doesn’t even have all the functions promised. I will not be leasing a Chevy again.

I was hoping to get it for a few thousand less, but either I didnt push enough or they really dont haggle on used car prices because they wouldnt budge. They did get me a good deal on the financing, though, and Im very happy with the car, it drives great and was so well maintained I almost feel like Im in a brand new car! Plus it has a lot of features I was looking for.

Comment: My service advisor Casey was very on top of things and very helpful. The service manager was also very helpful and customer service oriented. The reason for the 3 stars is due to Autonations call center, when calling it no longer brings you direct to dealer. I tried for 3.5hrs to get ahold of someone at my local dealer and the call center kept saying someone will call me back. Once at the dealer I was told they never received a message to call me back. Very poor hand off from call center to local dealer.

Comment: Update: 5-1-2023Had a new service department representative because mine was out. To be honest Jerry was down to earth & helpful. Just an overall nice guy. He explained things well & got out in a decent time. I’m glad I have another service representative to go to when my guy Steve isn’t in. I’m very happy with this dealer ship. Manager is doing real good with employees like these. Hope they get recognized!Update :Well what could I say. I’ve been coming here for quite some time. My pops retired here as car maker from GM. He would be proud in terms of customer service. Steve J. well, such a genuine guy & couldn’t appreciate is honesty & integrity as a person & as an advisor. But it’s just not him. His manager has been a great help along with other advisers there. I truly recommend this place for your Chevy. Just hope all the mechanics & workers get well taken care of.First time at this dealer. Even from way before at another dealer ship n the valley I never had just great customer service. Steve Johnson was my service guy. Comment: I had scheduled a service for my corvette a week ahead of time at this dealership. My appointment was set for 7 AM on 4/10/23. I drove from Woodland Hills to Valencia and upon arriving, the service advisor, Casey Wright, informs me that the tech who was supposed to work on my car for the appointment, was off that day.No one bothered to inform me that the tech would not be there that day, resulting in both wasted time and gas on my end. I was offered by Casey to wait another 2.5 hours to see if they can accommodate me - No thanks. He did not seem to care either way.Autonation Chevrolet Valencias staff lacks communication and customer service. I highly do not recommend this dealership and will file a formal complaint. If youre looking to be disappointed, then this is the place to go.

Coming from a smaller dealer i was used to fight and argue for hours to get any warranty repair of even an oil change... i came to auto nation with my car shaking bad and with a terribly rough idle, they said they had to inspect the vehicle and come back to me with an answer if is covered by the drivetrain warranty or not... i though it was going to take at least a week since that’s what i was used to with the other dealer, but they called me the next day saying it was covered by the warranty and gave me an amazing loaner (covered by GM) they also told me that the parts ordered wouldnmt come until friday (i brought the car in tuesday and got the call on wednesday) and i was amazed that friday at 4pm they called me again no to tell me that the parts were late, or that there was some extra labout that they had to charge me extra... no, they called and said that the car was ready! 100% im coming back to this dealer only!!! Best place to take your chevrolet imo!

Comment: I appreciated Caseys time and kindness in explaining the issue with my car and making the process go smoothly. He has excellent interpersonal relationship skills and is an asset to your dealership. My recommendations are to hire more service advisors (our wait time is too long and frustrating), provide service advisors with a printer in their office (too much time wasted walking back and forth to retrieve paperwork throughout the day!!) and have the office clerk check the customers out rather than the service advisors. Another task that shouldnt be their responsibility and compromises the efficiency and effectiveness with customer service. I observed plenty of customers becoming impatient and frustrated with the wait time.

Comment: Took the vehicle and they told me it should be about a hour. So I waited about 5 hours because I know things happen and sometimes they fall behind. But I called after 5 hours and asked to see if it was ready. I was told my agent was out of the office and he would call me back. He never did. I call back again 1 1/2 later and I was transfer to his office. Still no answer. I had to show up not knowing if my vehicle was ready or not. Luckily it was. I didn’t like not knowing status of my vehicles and never being called back. Service on my vehicle was great, just wished I had the same great service.

Comment: I never received what I paid for...I actually had a great time at AutoNation Valencia. My experience was super smooth, salesman and finance department were super smooth.Got my car at sticker and got a great value on my tradeBut I never received what I paid for... my car had a few items listed on the window sticker as dealer extras like a black emblem package and cargo net, which added around $1000 to my vehicle price, but I was happy to pay for these items.My salesman told me they would send me these items.That was back in July. Here in January, I’ve never received anything. I called and texted my salesman and I’ve just been ignored.Now I have to cancel my service contract because I can’t justify paying for items I never received.Again, I really enjoyed my car buying experience, it just really stinks to never receive items you clearly paid for, and end up getting ignored when you follow up.

The first time it was a friendly call to advise of the recall outcomes and to notify of work needing to be complete. Comment: There was ZERO communication and oversight from the service advisor/dealership. He didn’t return my voicemail’s. I would call sometimes 5+ times and no one would answer their phones to give me an update on my vehicle. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company and the excuse I got was they don’t have staffing and are overbooked.I was told to the day I dropped it off on Friday that my car would be ready on Monday. Monday at 3:40 PM I still hadn’t heard anything, I live 2 hours away which they were aware of and I was supposed to take my car on a road trip for Thanksgiving the next morning. Seven days go by and I have no update, I would call and no one would return my call or answer their phones. I even left a message for the GM and still haven’t received a call back. When I picked up my car and they didn’t fix everything they said they were going to. I looked at the service record and they did almost 3k in warranty work and I simply brought it in for a pulley noise and somehow my radiator on my two year old vehicle was replaced along with other things. I get home and the noise is still there so the entire experience was for nothing and I have to do it again as my car is not fixed. I’m so upset.

Comment: This last visit was not good. I made my appointment to get regular service on my Chevy Bolt. Which is really not much and rotate tires, inspect and grease where applicable. I told my rep I would be back for my car and he said no problem should be ready in 1 to 1.5 hours by 6 pm? the website says your open to 7 pm? So I thought great I will swing by and pick up my car. well at 6:10 pm Im at the service center to pick up my car and everyone is gone. I got no call, I got no car to get to work with. This is the worst service I have received in the last 4 years of brining my car to your Service Center. I have always mentioned that my service center is the best! but not this last visit. More communication was needed.

Comment: Not great, to be honest. I bought my car there, so even though I recently moved, I made the drive to Valencia. Despite very few other customers being there, took 3 hours to change my oil and get a tire checked. Also, took me repeatedly urging that there was an issue with the tire to get it looked at by anyone with the skill set to fix it. Was told car would be washed, wasn’t. Tried to spend the time waiting working, but ostensibly non-busy staff sitting in the fleet sales office sat in there on loud personal calls, etc (on speaker) making it difficult to focus. I think I have another complimentary 3 hour oil change coming from Chevrolet but I’ll just pay and get an efficient service by professionals. No thanks.

Comment: Steve Johnson made what was going to be a very bad experience, good. I placed a call to get my Volt’s transmission looked at. The “call center” said no prob. I drive from Camarillo to my appointment only to find out that the transmission specialists were booked out until December. I specifically asked if there was someone who would be able to service it and they put me on a brief hold, then said yes. Steve has excellent customer service skills and explained what transpired to the person we scheduled the service appointment. He did his best to diagnose it w/o being able to get into it. My car has been in since Friday for an OIL-CHANGE (which takes at most a few hours anywhere else), and I have not receiveda single update which I was assured by the service rep Jerry that he would keepme updated on the status of my car. It is now midday Tuesday and I have had to call twice, both times my service representative Jerry is not available. My car went in for an oil change, and Iassumed other issues would need to be fixed as well. From reading all otherreviews, I was hoping for quick service, maybe even a same-day service or at the very most getting it back on Monday. There is no reason for my car to be awayso long and keeping me from work with no updates. It is now Tuesday, no updates, no answers to my calls, no response to my messages. The reason we chose to go to Valencia Chevy was all the raving reviews about being updated even receiving photo updates, same-day service, excellent customer service. Instead, I received a rep who is never available and has not called or updated once in 5 days.A client should not have to chase around for information on their vehicle. I am incredibly disappointed.

Comment: My 2014 Chevy Silverado was overdue for 100k mile maintenance (tune up, oil change, transmission flush, rear differential flush, cooling system flush, A/C maintenance, battery, new tires) and some minor repairs to the suspension (control arms were binding, rear axle seal needed service). I scheduled the appointment online and brought the truck in. The Service Writer was very helpful and informative. During the follow up phone calls to discuss additional service and repairs, she provided me with detailed information and pricing. I felt comfortable that I was getting the service I needed with honest up-front pricing. I was very satisfied with the service performed and am happy to say that I will definitely be bringing my truck back for future service. Thank you!

Comment: I had a really good experience overall. The salesman was patient and gave me everything I requested. Although the situation escalated, NOT due to the salesman, he handled it very well. It was my very first car buying experience and I didnt feel like I overpaid for the car at all. I was happy to be a priority even though he did have an appointment. His communication was above and beyond and I would come back just to deal with him. I would like to let Teris (salesman) know that I appreciate all the steps he took to make my party happy and thank you for handling the situation professionally. The service was completed as I sat in the waiting area. The waiting area was quiet and comfortable. The amount of time I waited was reasonable.When the service was complete, Jerry let me know. Jerry reviewed the status of my vehicle and answered all of my questions. I paid the bill, which was reasonable for a dealership, and walked out to my vehicle. At first I knew my new second hand car needed to be serviced, and growing up in the 80s I remembered what my father said he said son, if you like a car from the past just buy it and all you got to do is fix it up, you can do it yourself or take to the mechanic. LolAnd if it wasnt for my dad loving Chevys I probably would not have one now but I do, thanks to him he taught me about cars through the Chevy cars. And so, I find myself going to the Chevy Auto Nation its my first time going there, and they helped me right away, and they were very patient with me very opened eared about what I noticed about my car needing help with, they also provided me with payment options which is most comforting knowing the state the country is in with the covid19 crisis, people need to save on money so they get 5 🌟 stars from me for that.Robert was my service helper and made my experience with Chevy Auto Nation good and comfortable. Comment: Tim was our salesman, he was such a great help and he really looked our for our needs and what i was looking for in a truck. our last two chevy purchases were done at Santa Paula Chevrolet, and we went to Autonation Chevrolet in Valencia just to look. it was odd at first. no salesman greeted us for a while. when we were just going to give up Tim came up to us and asked if we have been helped. he then gave us a five star service. i told him what i was looking for and he showed me the differance in the silverados i was interested in. i fell in love with the red hot sport custom silverado more cause it had the two main things i was looking for. Tim then showed me some numbers on what we would be looking at for purchase. TIm really pushed on getting the deal through. Tim really worked with us and the finance department to make it happen. it was really nice to see the whole finance dept and the Gen Manager get involved to make the deal happen. we finally got into financing and Chad not only was very personable but when he pushed it through the finance company, he even got them to lower our rate from what was originally agreed on. We just want to thank Autonation Chevrolet for what they did, and that we have a new chevy dealership family. I have already recommended Autonation Chevrolet Valencia to my boss who is looking to start buying company trucks
