Destiny Fletcher she went out of her way and walked in the rain to my apartment building which was over 100 ft away and tested my battery and jumped my battery and then we came over here to the Auto zone in Big Rapids and I bought the battery that she selected and then she replaced the battery I just want you to know what awesome team work made my day made my year thank you so much for having such good people she should definitely get a raise.Joe Rivers
The customer service and phone service sucks! I was on hold 3 different times tonight for a total of 40 min+ and they never came back on to help me? The guys name was Josh and not a helpful dude at all. I work in retail as a manager and even if he didn’t really care he could have hid it a little better.I will stick with Advance auto from now on.
This used to be my go-to parts store but within the past 6 months I have been ignored while staff talked about their baby mamas, placed on hold for excessive amounts of time (15-20 minutes) and experience VERY long lines while in the store. Lack of quality management is evident and should be corrected given the amount of other part stores in the region. I shouldnt have to wait so long for assistance or feel like I am in the middle of an inbred family reunion (unprofessional staff) every time I need to go to the parts store.
I stopped in to get brake pads for my car. I told the employees I needed front brake pads and gave the employees the year, make, model, etc. information for my car, but did not know my brake size. Because of this, I was told to buy a box of each size (there were 2 sizes to choose from) and to return the one I ended up not needing. The brake pads were only about $30 each and I work 10 seconds from the store, so I went with that option. When schedules finally allowed to get my brake pads replaced, my brother-in-law informed me that the store had sold me 2 boxes of BACK brake pads instead of FRONT brake pads. Not only was this a complete inconvenience to both my brother-in-law and myself (I work 60 hours a week, he works out of state), but I have to drive my child around in my car and desperately needed to get these brake pads replaced. This was the only time that available to get these replaced and that was impossible to do when I was sold the WRONG PART. You would think that with 2 people helping me, there should not have been an issue. Apparently its too much to expect the people that work here to know what they are doing and to not be too lazy to double check that they grabbed the right part off the shelf. The computer did 95% of the work. Its really not that difficult. Pure ignorance and laziness. I returned the parts to Cadillac store just so that I didnt have to deal with those idiots again.
Great experience!!!! Car would not start at restaurant next to Auto zone Big Rapids while traveling to Traverse City. Bobby and a young lady employee were great Bobby diagnosed problem and helped with fixing it. Cant say enough good things about what they did to get us back on the road.👍👍 Outstanding is all I can say.
Stopped in here on long trip ... just to pick up Window Washer Fluid. These folks were a pleasure.Here is my story - I had pulled into a different Auto Supply store literally up the road (Advance Auto Parts). In there I stood waiting to pay for my purchase and 3 employees all avoided eye contact as they talked on the phone ... ignoring an obvious ready to pay customer. So I left (after ten frustrating minutes with no help at all) and drove for a moment - and upon entering this Auto Zone my experience was totally different. I was greeted by multiple folks, they helped me get what I needed and got me on my way in under 2 minutes flat. Treating my under $3 purchase like I was buying a new transmission! Such a contrast. THANK YOU for being so helpful. (Next time I dive by I would not be surprised to see that other store closed if that is they way the operate).
My wife went to the AutoZone in Big Rapids MI on 10-20-17. Chris helped her, she had a head light out. Chris changed it for her and she was on her way. I cant thank you enough for helping out my wife when I wasnt there to take care of it. You have definitely earned our business.
I would rate this a zero if I could. Every time I come in here I get treated horrible because Im a girl.Tonight I was ignored by staff and skipped in line by a customer. Waited for over 15 minutes for the manager to finally help me or even acknowledge I was even there.Horrible

2022-04-21I had ordered a part and when it came in, it was totally wrong. But, that could happen to anyone in any situation. What really impressed to awesome levels, was their attitudes and willinglyness to help me! They wete very appologetic, refunded my money quick, it was just their entire customer service they rendered me that blew my socks off!! I would not hesitate to go back and do business with them again! Mark, William, and I believe, Will, plus a nice young man were very kind, cooperative, and didn’t makw me feel like an imposition on their time! 2022-01-18As always, John Dennis at the Big Rapids location is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help answer questions, concerns etc! I drove all the way from Hart just to purchase at the Big Rapids store and have Johns expertise handle the transaction and peace of mind knowing I got the right parts the first time. Unlike two other locations near me who have sent me with the wrong parts before just to have to go back for the right ones. Thanks John!!!👍👏👌

2022-01-02I was searching for a much-needed part, and this store came to my rescue. I had a GREAT experience talking on the phone with Chelsea. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I am grateful for her help and grateful that Auto Zone was able to get me the auto part necessary to travel out of state and see my family for Christmas. Thank you again!

2022-07-09I went to pick up a part I ordered. Believe it or not but the box was empty when I went to look at it. I went back. They had one for me within a few hours from another store. So in the end I had my part.

2018-12-18My charger blew a head gasket after I sprayed the 5.7L Hemi with a little too much bottle. They sold me a whole gasket set for the upper part of the engine for 200$ With a 10 year warranty. With fast shipping very impressed. Online app needs work though. But great store.

2021-07-13I called 15 minutes prior to showing up. Explain to them that I needed a new battery for my vehicle. They told me that they had it in stock and they would switch it out as soon as I got there. When I got there and talk to a different employee then when I talk to her on the phone she was really rude. And said that I wasn’t the one she talk to you. She looked up my vehicle said that she could not replace my battery and that she would not do it and I should head to Walmart. She was a manager at the store. I will never go to AutoZone again the experience in big Rapids was terrible
