AutoZone Auto Parts in other cities:
Really like this store. My main parts store. If they don;t have the part on the shelf theyll tell the nearest store that does, or even better they can get for you the very next day. Happy with their staff and managers. Most employees here recognize me by face and name and I get great service.
Store is super clean and organized. Greeted right away, team was ready to help. Came in to purchase a light bulb for my headlight. Told the manager I was going to have my buddy install it but he came out in the freezing cold and put it in for me. I just thought I would run in quick and they offered to help and go above and beyond it was truly awesome! Even picked up a fresh pick of air fresheners! Amazing service, I’ll be making my car purchases here every time no matter what! Thanks for the help autozone Davison!
They had the parts in stock so I didn’t need to do a special order like at some other auto part locations. They show you the prices on their computer screen so you know exactly how much you’re going to pay before walking out the door and there’s no confusion about some kind of price gouge or sales cap that they’re trying to make
Lady manager with short hair very rude to her employees. Gentleman with longer hair was helping me with online order and checking out while their phone was ringing and manager blatantly scolded him like a child in front of me for not answering it in timely manner... Unprofessional all around. Otherwise, the gentleman was very helpful and accommodating! Thank you sir for my little tape measure and tire tread depth reader. Works great. 😆
So my husband built me a purple mustang Roush from a wrecked V6. It was a birthday gift (yes I was spoiled ❤), and I was also pregnant with our only child, my daughter.I lost my husband to cancer 7 years ago. Needless to say, that car is my prized possession, aside from my girl of course. The reason Im telling this story is because I dont trust just anyone to work on my car. Its more than just a car to me, its a piece of my husband. I have been coming to this Davison Auto Zone since my husband hasnt been here to maintain it and I have been treated with the utmost respect from every single employee I have ever came in contact with. Your employees know how to make the customer feel comfortable, and they have always gone above & beyond to give me tips on anything I ask in conversation.Ive ran retail business stores for 18 years, so I know the hard work it takes into hiring & maintaining a knowledgeable and friendly staff.I unfortunately didnt get the gentlemans name that helped me, (he was changing my battery), it was Tuesday at 4 pm, he helped me until about 5:15ish. He was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. Also, Amy Rohen helped while she was on her break out in the parking lot. I know she didnt have to do that! We also chatted, she was also super knowledgeable & let me know that I can come back to ask questions or anything I may need help with.Sorry for the saga, haha, but I am 100% about customer service, and I would absolutely pay more to go somewhere where I am treated well & feel important. I dont know a lot about cars, (Im a nursing major now), but I will continue to spend my money in your store because of the amazing top notch service I consistently receive. And I boast about your store and refer anyone I can.Thank you my Davison Auto Zone!!❤❤❤❤🚗🚘🚙🚙
I come in today to get some oil for my truck my husband is out of town I asked him if they could help me put it in and they said they dont do it here but the one in Clio was more than helpful to put my wipers on in the winter will never be back again here and it was a young female blonde that waited on me
I have been here many times, they always are friendly and courteous. They are very busy sometimes, but I never took it as rude on their part that I should have to wait my turn. They try to save me money anytime they can by testing my car parts before purchasing a new one, helping to diagnose a problem, and by making sure I use my rewards card.I also know for a fact that their prices are much lower than others in the area because I always call to check prices, but inevitably end up there...
Manager Brian helped me look at my car because it was leaking coolant, I don’t know a thing about cars and he got me all the parts I needed! Didn’t make me feel silly at all and I am motivated by his help! Talked me into the big tree air freshener as well, fresh service also LOL! Thanks for the help!
I called my local Davison autozone to see if the had a part i needed and they said yestold them to put on hold i was leaving work and would be there to pick up..mind you i work an hour and a half from there many auto parts stores near my work but chose to get close to home.iget there they dint have the parts after all i was quite a bit mad...the manager heard me about passing all these other stores on my way home .he then instructed the employee to take a whole assembly and give it to me free of charge for my inconvenience..i said no i only need one part not whole assembly and i would pay for my part. So they took the part from the assembly and gave it to me and wouldnt accept my money for it because of my inconvenience...i thanked them and was amazed by that ...thank you again...
You go here because you need to, not because you want to. Staff is decent; relatively knowledgeable for a chain parts store, and friendly. Its a step above the usual AutoZone for that.Parts are what you expect - cheap.Oil is expensive when its not on special compared to Wal-Mart 5 QT jugs, but they do stock better Mobil 1 oil filters for the most common sizes. Theres often specials on windshield washer fluid.
Dealt with 3 different sales clerk each time I had to go back (3 times within a half hour), because they sold me the wrong part all 3 times! And then one told me they didnt have the bolts to it (which they really didnt, why sell something if you dont have the bolts to put it in your vehicle to make it stay in place to run!) He told me to run to Menards for the bolts, that they have all sizes...are you kidding me?!I ran up to ROSS AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY INC. In Davison on M-15 and they were of big help, knew what I was talking about, and had ALL of the parts!!!
I purchased a couple spark plugs. I asked for a spark plug boot/shield set that I had viewed online at autozone. The boots are pretty much a universal part. She said without a vehicle make and model she couldnt help me (it was for a snowmobile). I told her it was 7mm wire. She threw her arms up in the air and said I have never sold anything but complete sets for specific vehicles and I could go in the back and find the part myself. She treated me like a complete moron. Needless to say I was instantly pissed. Sorry I asked you to use your brain a little bit instead of just working a computer. I spent about $8000 in parts at this store last year (business). Now they will get nothing.
Went into the store to get fuel tank straps and hose was working with one of the salespersons when the store manager butted in she was rude and had no idea what she was doing. She was also rude to anther customer trying to redeem a coupon and to anther on the phone. Worst store manager ive ever seen has no place interacting with customers
They are good for the parts they carry, but are limited on helping you find unique parts, like no parts for any RVs, unless they have a Ford or Chevy body, etc.NAPA at least, can look up a cross-reference for the type of vehicle, then matches that with what they have in stock, or at their warehouse! For example, the Cummins Diesel is on many RVs, but a Winnebago isnt listed, AutoZone cant cross parts for this, but NAPA does...

2022-06-06Dont waste time here. Workers are short tempered and couldnt care less about finding a warranty. If you ask if they have something thats on the shelf they just say they dont have it. Dort hwy is the store to go to. Great service and they at least act like they want to help you.

2022-06-19Worst customer service. You are better off finding what you need from another store or a dumpster. I needed help diagnosing if my battery was the issue and i was given no help. I purchased a battery but returned it bc the customer service was so bad. When I returned the item they asked why and I said bc the customer service was bad and they didn’t even say “sorry let’s fix it” but instead it was like the norm for a return.

2022-02-11Davison Autozone has been my go-to for car parts since I started driving 10 years ago. I recently had a small issue there and was swiftly contacted by one of the managers Mike, as well as by an out of state representative. Mike dropped what he was doing to focus on the issue and made things right. I’ll be a lifelong customer at this store and my love for old Ford trucks will likely ensure that I’m a regular haha

2022-01-12The manager, Brian, was incredible! I was very confused on what I needed and he was able to help me find exactly what I needed for my model car AND even installed my windshield wipers. I always come to this auto zone! Couldn’t recommend them more!

2022-01-16They did not have the part available when they said it was stocked! Wanted me to wait for next day delivery from their hub, drive 12 miles to another store or check at O Reillys 1 mile away. I drove a mile and they price matched. Thanks for the suggestion of a competitor!

2021-11-17Had to get new windshield wipers today and Amelia was extremely helpful. She helped me figure out what blades to get for the right price and size, and she even showed me how to put them on myself. Very good service here. Would recommend

2021-09-26Went in to buy brake rotors and pads a bit ago, customer service was impeccable. Riley was incredibly helpful with finding the right ones to fit my car, and even informed me about things I should do while installing them (greasing the pads, making sure the rotors were cleaned, etc. I’m not a very car savvy person). All around helpful and polite.

2021-09-23The people at this auto parts store are. Very helpful. Proactive employees are up eat and seem to have positive attitude in helping you as soon as you walk in... I live closer to other parts stores but I always go to this one now, primarily, because of the great staff provided superb service with a smile... thats refreshing.

2021-07-17If I could rate this store it would get 0 out of 5 stars. Some of their staff likes to argue with customers, some of the staff lie and will tell you they physically found your parts on the shelf, just to show up and the parts not be there. This has happened 9 out of 10 trips to the store. The computer system will say they have the parts in stock when they dont actually have the parts. The amount of time I have wasted visiting this location is ridiculous, and they have never once offered anything to make things right. This store is an inconvenience at best
