COUNTER PERSON WAS UNABLE TO REPLACE A BATTERY THAT HAD ALL THE INFORMATION I.E. SIZE, CCA, CC ON THE TOP TAG AND CLEARLY VISIBLE. HOWEVER THE COUNTER PERSON SAID THEY NEEDED TEH VIN IN ORDER TO GET THE BATTERY, I WAS FORCED TO GO TO ANOTHER AUTO PARTS TO OBTAIN THE BATTERY. HELP OR TRAINING IS NEEDED HERE!!!!! IT IS UNFORTUNATE I USED TO GO HERE A LOT FOR PARTS AS IT IS CLOSE TO OUR SHOP.
My daughter and I came by the Farmington store today (2/13/2021) around noon to check her battery on her Jeep Renegade. It was deader than a door nail. From the drive from home to the store it had restarted. We asked if they wouldn’t mind checking it anyway. No problem..it was dead, they came up with a replacement, and changed the battery in the parking lot without a thought. Oh... and it was 15 degrees outside.Autozone, you’ve got me for a customer from now on... your sales tech for this transaction was awesome (sorry we didn’t get his name). Thanks!!!!! Kevin & Megan
I came in tonight in the active snow there were no customers in the store no other cars in the lot but mine. I parked right in front of the door. I had my two young kids in the car I barely made it off the freeway there to the first autozone I could think of because my wipers were not working. I go in the store and ask the employee if I buy the wipers for my car will he install them. Now I know they will because this is why I shop at autozone because they go the extra step. But this guy looks at me and says no. He says because he’s the only one in the store. I guess I could understand that if there was a store full of people and he didn’t want to leave the store unattended but there was just me and the wind. I was parked in front of the door so there was no way he would miss anyone coming in and of course I could wait should he need to stop and service someone in the store. But there was no option just the no. I just left and he let me. When I called back to get his name he told me it was Prince and proudly announced he was the manager. I don’t know what to say to that because that’s who’s in charge and left to make decisions. I definitely won’t be returning again.
I was working with MIA U for a motorcycle battery.Initially, she mentioned that she cannot charge, later added it will take an hour so we cannot eventhough there was 1 hour 20 minutes left to close the store.Later she added this is motorcycle and it will take more then 2 hours.Not sure why they have a different treatment for different customer.
Kevin and Mia were amazing! I stopped in at the farmington hills location just before close on Fathers day because my wifes car wouldnt start. Instead of just selling me a battery and rushing me out the door, they took the time to test the battery, cleaned off the terminals and found the battery wasnt the problem. Thanks again to you guys for your great customer service and helping make an educated decision! I will definitely be coming back to see Kevin and Mia!
I came in at 12:25 pm on Sunday, 10/20. There was a lone woman working- this is to establish The Who- she offered no help, was condescending and couldn’t give me any ACTUAL help. I’ve come here time and time again with people helping me. I asked a simple question and she said “I’m not a mechanic, I don’t know.” She didn’t say it nice, she was just trying to push me out the door.Hire better people or train better
Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to my tail lights not working on my car. She helped me look through the owners manual, choose parts, and overall spent at least a half an hour to get my brake and tail lights back up and running again, as well as replaced the light bulbs for me! :) I will gladly come back, great customer service! Thank you!
On 02/08/21 around 1pm I was walking on the sidewalk infront of the store. I slipped and fell. The business had 2 sidewalks there supposed to be clear of snow and Ice. Both sidewalks on Grand River and Drake neither were free of snow and Ice, and it was a lot like they never clean it. As a business that disregards customer safety by not cleaning sidewalks of snow and ice is disgusting and disrespectful. I even called their regional office and the lady on the phone said she would get ahold of the area manager and nothing happened. About 4 hours later the sidewalk was not clean, total disregard of customer safety.
The man that helped me was very nice, professional, and FINE😁😁😁HE has a nice smile and Im sure Im going to go back really soon and buy an air freshener or something. Maybe a pack of gum you know! When I got in my car I said by honey see you next time! Seriously though, very nice, professional, and helpful😎😎😎😎
Absolutely ridiculous. Manager Mia on her phone constantly. Took 30 min for an issue that would have taken 5 min had she got off the phone. On her cell phone having loud personal conversations the ENTIRE time. And I mean ENTIRE time. Like put the call on hold. Help a little, not to completion. Get back on her cell phone and have to get called back. Totally unacceptable. Then she proceeds to berate the employee whos trying and couldnt figure it out. Something needs to be done. I mean some of the most outrageously bad service Ive ever seen
Everyone here was pretty helpful. I bought brake pads three years ago and was told there is a lifetime warranty - just bring them in when new ones are needed and get them exchanged for free. Exactly as promised, no questions asked and they gave me new brake pads for free. Its amazing how few products with lifetime warranty are actually covered. AutoZone, happily, appears to be an exception.
I was unimpressed with this location. I dropped my battery off to have it charged and tested. The manager told me to put it on a cart with some other batteries, and another clerk helped me check the battery into the store. The following day when I arrived to pick up the battery, the staff, including the manager, could not find my battery, even going to far as to gaslight me by telling me, I may not have dropped it off at their location. Upon insisting I dropped it off with the manager and a clerk, they continued the search until they finally found my ticket in the trash. After locating my battery, they told me it was bad and needed to be replaced. Unconvinced, I took the battery to OReilly Auto where it was chargers and tested good. Needless to say, I will no longer patronize this AutoZone location.
Very unfriendly staff, just there to sell parts and not willing to help at all. I suspected the relay for my headlight was bad so I went in to get help on which one it might be in my cars relay box so I could buy the appropriate one. The staff not only didnt know how to help me find that out but when I figured it out on my own, they didnt know how to find the right part in their inventory.They also refused to lend a simple device such as a multimeter so I could check connectivity in my fuses.I have been to other AutoZone stores and staff have been way more helpful and friendly.
Staff was not friendly and not very helpful with battery check. Brought in my motorcycle battery and they told me to go to OReilly because they didnt know how to clamp the terminals to the meter. I had to offer to do it so the meter could run a diagnosis. Only two ladies were in the store and even though there were not a lot of people there they seemed understaffed. They were not able to answer any of my questions. Otherwise Im a good Autozone customer.
Mr. Ruffin here is so patient, hardworking and dedicated. I think his boss should give him a promotion :) My original mirror glass was broken into thousands of pieces, and in order to replace it, he has to peel all of the pieces off first. It was a very hot day. Despite of the bad weather, he stood in the sun for more than twenty minutes and finally got the glasses cleaned up and replaced with a new mirror glass. To be honest, I didnt expect he could do so much at first.
Standing in line to check out and Im one of just two customers in the store. Bad news as Ive the time to review the place. There is one nice guy helping customers and about 4 people milling about in back.WHY IS NO ONE HELPING?!?! At least 3 associates have seen me waiting. Ill be shopping at Advance from now on.
Worse autozone every since they got new employees the autozone has been completely trash. The workers are extremely lazy and do not know anything. I wish they had the old workers back at this place. I will never visit again until they get new workers. And the manager John is the worse manager, he is disrespectful and also lazy. I hope they get new employees. Until that happens i wont step foot in the store.
Great prices and good selection. The employees are very polite and friendly but lack knowledge of what they stock in the store. I have frequently been told they do not stock an item then find it on the shelf 5 minutes later. This has happened to me on multiple occasions. Do you guys have wheel pullers? No we do not. Do you guys sell honig stones? No we do not. All of which could be found on the shelves. I dont ask anymore. Lol. Guys, you need a cheat sheet. All items in alphabetical order with corresponding isle number. Seriously. You sell parts. You should know what you sell. Not hard to come up with a simple lookup system or piece of paper. You will immediately improve your sales. Just trying to help. I enjoy coming to your store.
Bought a battery three years ago. Bought the two year extended warranty. If it dies, just bring it back and get a new battery. Warranty says, if it malfunctions bring it back and get a new battery. Three years later, it died. Charged it, died next day. Same for two more days. Brought it in. Darius says,come back in an hour. If it doesnt charge well give you a new battery. Called on the phone. Nope, it wont charge, come on back.THEY WOULDNT HONOR THE WARRANTY. They wanted me to buy a NEW battery and tried to sell me a NEW warranty. AUTOZONE IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES AND THEY DONT HONOR WARRANTIES.
Worst Autozone I have ever been to. Youd be better off asking a preschooler for advice or help with a car issue. They sold me the wrong parts then refused to return them. Take your money elsewhere (like AutoValue or even just the Autozone in Wixom); avoid these clowns at all costs. Manager and employees were totaly clueless, disrespectful, and unwilling to reconcile the problem.
To my surprise came in to get seat covers for my new in Lincoln MKZ nobody was up at the register even well after I was in there for over an hour went to look around for somebody and came across John in the back he was doing questionable acts and another man with his pants below his knees I couldnt imagine what was going on in there but I can only imagine I feel like the manager was taking it in the butt hole while customers were in the store is completely unprofessional and if I really wanted to I could have stole a lot however John had a weird look on his eye after he was confronted like he was going to spread my cheeks next I was very uncomfortable

2022-04-01Would agree with the previous review, came in and said I had a malfunction indicator light on in my car. They responded that they only do check engine light tests which I explained it was.She then asked if I knew how to run the test myself. Once she couldn’t find the device I walked out and won’t be back

2022-05-30Went in asking for a part that I had already checked online to see if it was available around 12:30pm on Saturday May 28th. A younger guy started looking things up on the first computer for me and then walked off. I said I was going to go look for some canned air to clean out the area before swapping the sensor I was going to purchase while I expected him to go get the part. He never came back and was wandering around the back looking for a different part all of a sudden. Then he walked past me multiple times until a lady came in looking for something. He instantly started helping her so I began calling up OReillys to see if they had what I needed. They did.Ive been going to AutoZone for many years now and have never been let down like this. Maybe its a one off store..

2022-05-24Went into the store to get an alternator, she gave us the 95amp instead of the 130amp even though she had all the information she needed to sell us the right product.Once we realized her mistake, we went back in to exchange/return it, she refused to receive it because it was not covered under warranty even though their policy indicated returns/exchanges can be made up to 90 days after purchase.She had a terrible attitude, and answered a phone call mid-sentence without even excusing herself while she was assisting us.It was the worst customer service experience, will not buy from them again.

2022-07-02Horrible service. Went for a simple battery and Left with a broken key. Associates we’re extremely rude, on their phones am the time, and unhelpful to not only me but the other customers. If you want something done right, i advise you go somewhere else.

2022-01-30I went to change the battery, took them forever to change, she was ignorant and dint hold on to the bolts, and threw them inside the hood. She showed lot of attitude.Employees seem to hate their job here. Not friendly, could barely get a hello out of the associate at front counter.

2021-12-23Employees seem to hate their job here. Not friendly, could barely get a hello out of the associate at front counter. After saying hello 4 times she finally said can I help you with still no hello. Wow.When I asked where an item was she pointed to the opposite end of the store and said over there. So I basically had to coax an aisle number from her.I wont be going back as this is my 2nd bad experience with lazy unprofessional employees here.The company must really be desperate for help.

2022-03-17Kevin the manager went way above and beyond!! Everyone was super helpful and made my little fixes super easy. Make sure to ask for Kevin
