Comment: I did a month-long rental of a brand new 2024 Toyota Corolla at a very reasonable price. Barry and his staff are wonderful to work with and provide personalized service. Towards the end of the month, I realized I would need to extend the rental for another month, and Barry was very accommodating. Overall, a great experience with Avalon for a long-term car rental.

Comment: I rented an older model car for a month with limited mileage allowed, and the maintenance light came on after a few weeks. I paid a little over $900, and I noticed the invoice or receipt isnt itemized, and the taxes seem excessive. They require too much personal information, such as your social security number, when it isnt necessary for insurance or renting a car. They leave your information viewable at the front desk—no protection of customers’ private data. If you dont have insurance, you are rushed to buy a 6-month vague policy with State Farm. I left cell phone items by mistake in the car when I returned it, and it took them two days to respond to my email and tell me the items werent in the vehicle. I have evidence of one of the items being left in the car because I took photos when I dropped off the car. Either someone at their company took them, or they threw them away. I cant see anyone throwing a cell phone holder and charger away. I returned the car a day early because they were closed on the weekend, and they didnt refund me for the extra day. I would not rent from here again.

They picked me up from the airport and were very flexible with my return date as I needed to extend a week due to my contract. Had the car for 2 months and using them for my next contract in Northern California. The car was very well maintained and I felt safe as I had to travel on the highway frequently. They were always available to help if needed. Just referred by bestie here! Great cars and customer service!

Comment: Avalon was an amazing experience. I rented a car for two months and was on and off about how long I wanted to rent the car for, but they were extremely accomodating and understanding. Compared to other commercial rental places, their prices were extremely fair and affordable for me. My rental car broke down (due to my own negligence), but they were extremely speedy and had my battery fixed within 24 hours. Barry was so easy to contact, and I am very happy with the service I had. It was easy and quick to return the car, and this car and Avalons service made my trip to Santa Clara awesome!

Also, the staff is very helpful, especially Susan and Chris, who both helped me resolve an issue. The car I was using had a dead battery due to my mistake, and they still came out the same day I told them about it and replaced the car for no extra charge.

When i first interacted with Barry, he came across as a man with a lot of credibility and i can vouch for that . He has provided reliable cars time and again to me . In the occasional instance where there were mechanical issues, they made sure to fix it almost immediately or give a loaner car .Barry and his team are very cordial people. The booking process is very simple and it is easy to get there from the airports.I would definitely use their services again in the future .
