The bigger issue is he tried to pass off or hide a chipped window and let us drive off which a dirty, smelly car .. smelled like fish or similar ... BAD. Rent from another AVIS location.

Comment: Worst experience I’ve ever had renting a car, first I paid for insurance and they forgot to print the insurance in the receipt although I had already paid for the insurance, they also forgot to put in the receipt that I was going to return the car in another location, and they told me that I wouldn’t have a problem when I returned the car, but when I return the car to the other location they had no record that I was going to give the car back in that location, also in the same rental they gave me a car with a low tire and then exchange the car for a car that was dirty, would never recommend this location to anyone.

Comment: Worse cannot be enough to describe. We made a reservation online but they said corporate made a mistake. Lecture us about it. The person who is very rude is Maust if that his real name. Rent from them if you want to be left without a vehicle and rude person. Again the owner responded asking me to DM them but with no information on I could DM them. I have the reservation number here. Please check with your staff first on which customer they had refused that a reservation number or they are just too many of us?? You know how to reach us with the reservation that you have on file.

Comment: I’ve never been so disappointed in a car rental service before. The Avis staff called to let us know they did not have a vehicle available for us less than 24 hours before we needed the vehicle & told me it was my job to call customer service, mind you we booked the vehicle in December 2022. I then sat on hold for 45 minutes for customer service to be told it was the job of the Avis staff at the counter we rented from to be calling & they wouldn’t help me either. They were not accommodating at all. They finally told me I could go to a different Avis an hour and 45 minutes away for a smaller car than what I even needed for a higher price. I spent a total of 3 hours of my vacation on the phone with multiple different people through Avis and ended up renting a vehicle through a different company who was much more accommodating & polite.They also called us 1 hour prior to picking up our other vehicle earlier in the week to let us know they did not have any vehicles & we needed to figure it out.

The only concern was that the oil change was overdue at the time of rental, although it did not seem to affect the performance. There is also a gas station in the same plaza, so filling up the tank was easy before returning the car.

However, the car was not available at the pick up time which is understandable and was beyond their control due to the long weekend. Comment: Budget vehicles will make you pay one way or another. We paid for it with damaged photos, collectables and invaluable belongings. After having a horrific travelling experience and having to reroute because of the UNSAFE conditions of the truck we were greeted by Shahid Khan who is the manager, but had power to do nothing. Comment: I reserved a mini van but when I got there the agent told me they had none left. This is crucial information since I needed the space a minivan provided. I was given the only other vehicle they had the can seat 7 and was told it was a upgrade. Well that vehicle had lots of damage and the agent was reluctant to document the existing damage. I had to insist that it be documented before I take it. I got a letter a few days ago saying that I was going to be charged for the damage. Good thing I saved my paper work. I had to fight the charges.I dropped off the vehicle with just 1 gallon short of full and the drop off agent at LAX said that Avis is going to charge me for a half a tank. I had to request the charges be reduced to reflect I used only one gallon of gasNeedless to say my experience was disappointing and required me to fight for my money. If you go here, keep your paper work and careful with hidden charges.

He then rented us a car with a close to empty tank of gas and when we returned the car forced us to return it with a full tank. I do not recomend using this car rental

This past rental was for Special Olympics, and we needed a large vehicle. George made sure we had a safe, and big rental for all the children, and parents. This season, we will need rentals for several holiday Childrens hospital events. We have full confidence George, and Dillon will make sure my volunteers are well taken care of: and, the vehicle will be safe.Our Vice President lives in Chino Hills, and suggested renting local, after not wanting the long drive back to the LA airport. I know one of our volunteers, drives from Newport Beach to pick up the vehicles, because, our V.P. knows that George, and Dillon will make sure we are given the best customer service possible.Thanks you to both!! Comment: This location is complete bait and switch. I called in and was given a rate and reservation for a compact vehicle to pick up at 10am. When I called to let them know I would be arriving at 10:30 they told me they did not have any compact cars and it was MY responsibility to ask AND that I would be charged a higher fee per day... What? If youre the specialist and give me a reservation for that specific location, its the companys responsibility to ensure the car is available to be rented out and not try to change it at the last minute in an effort to get an extra few $$.
