We just had my grandpas funeral here last week and the people at Bagnasco & Calcaterra we’re so very helpful and caring I could not thank them and recommend enough. This is something you don’t want to have to do but they made it easy and helped with every step along the way.
B&C went the extra mile in making the process of planning the funeral for our loved one as smooth as could be during a difficult time. Matthew, Rick, Amanda and everyone stepped up and took care of the important things, making us feel comfortable, and setting the visitation room up beautifully, coordinating the flowers, holy cards, guest book, the minister, the music, etc. They were patient, helpful, respectful and kept track of all the details so the family could grieve. This was our second family loss that B&C took care of for us, and they did a fantastic job the first time, so we felt they stayed consistent. Mr. Paul Calcaterra came to the interment and gave a beautiful eulogy, reciting a lovely poem that was just perfect.
Dealing with a death in the family will always be difficult; our familys loss was compounded by a number of us living out of town. Rick Garofola was not only genuinely compassionate, but throughly efficient...not one one detail was overlooked! Too, his colleague Amanda went above & beyond in assisting in the smaller, but also very important details, namely a collection of images for a video tribute that began with thousands of images that she helped to whittle down to 60. The care, concern and professionalism was astounding!!
My daughters had a bad experience here with the director who was doing their fathers funeral. We received a call from the manager who was very apologetic and assured that it will be taken care of. At first I was very disappointed because we have used Calcatera for family members in the past with no complaints, they were great. But after the call I feel that one person should not reflect a whole business that in the past was great and want to thank Mark for reaching out and assuring it was being taken care of. No one should ever have a bad experience when making funeral arrangements for a loved one and my family would use them again
Matthew and his staff did a wonderful job with our family member’s funeral service. Very thorough and compassionate- much appreciated during a difficult time.
I cannot say enough about the team that helped my family through the loss of our dad. Matthew was there for us every step of the way, helping to handle things that we wouldn’t have known where to start. The entire team was attentive and patient and provided us with a sense of calm and peace we truly needed. Thank you all for the wonderful way you helped us honor our dad.
We just had my Mom’s funeral here this week. Everything was done so well and everyone went out of their way to be kind and attentive to our family. The service we had was beautiful and Mr. Calcaterra spoke after and had us all in tears. He shared a wonderfully moving poem with us. Thank you for helping us through this incredibly difficult and painful time.
Rick and the staff of Bagnasco & Calcaterra did a great job for my family and me after the passing of our father. They were attentive and caring. The facility met all our needs. I would recommend them highly.
I do not know where to start. This place was heaven sent. I honestly cant say enough. I lost my father suddenly and was devastated. It was the most difficult time in my life and everyone there made it a little easier. My family never had to ask or want for anything at anytime. Everything was taken care of and handled with such professionalism and respect. This is the worst time in peoples lives and they know how to handle it. Thank you to everyone. You are all wonderful people
VERY DISAPPOINTED on the caring and handling of my Uncles funeral arrangements.Spoke with them about personal information about him to write the obituary and was left VERY impersonal and vague. In correctly spelled words etc. When your GRIEVING it is their JOB to handle those things correctly when you are not capable of it. Negative 10 degrees out and their furnace was not working correctly....had one space heater out to help...needless to say it DIDNT!!! Dropped off framed pictures days prior to the viewing for them to put out in the room on display for guests to view...needless to say they were not out and we had to inquire about them...was handed the bag to display them OURSELVES!!! As the evening came to a close they were VERY RUDE and RUSHING you out the door. Would NEVER recommend this funeral home to anyone!!!! 2 stars is more than they deserve.
Wonderful place with wonderful folks, easy to recommend. They took care of both my in-laws, my father-in-law just took place last week.
Rick is Great, would highly recommend his services.
You get what you pay for. They do not mess up.

2022-04-14I would like to thank the staff of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home for the way they handled the services and arrangements when I lost my son. They were extremely professional and no details were missed. Amanda went above and beyond! The compassion she showed towards my family will never be forgotten! Rick, Brian and the rest of the staff were great also. Thank you for being there for my family and helping us through a tragic time.

2022-08-01Everyone was very kind and helpful with the planning of my mother’s funeral. Rebecca was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. Donna was also a great help on the day of the funeral. There were a few questions we had about a month later and Amanda and Rebecca jumped right in and helped solve our issue in a timely manner. Their location is extremely convenient and their facility is very nice. I would highly recommend them.

2022-07-29Awesome! My mother looked like a movie star...the staff was wonderful. Rick was a God Send. My whole family was so very pleased. God bless the services they provide at a time in your life when you are at your very worst. What a beautiful send off I know my mother was so very proud. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

2022-04-24I had the unfortunate chance to attend my friends sudden funeral. Bagnasco & Calcaterra have a real decent space and plenty of room to have a proper memorial/funeral. Plus, if I was a zombie heading out for the night, Id stop here first. She looked real good all done up they way they did.

2021-11-02Our families have been using Bagnasco and Calcaterra Funeral home services from as long as I can remember. When we had to call on the them for recent passing of our Father, Tom Angott. They handled every detail and request with sincere courtesy and professionalism. Thank you Mathew and staff for being so wonderful in such a difficult time.

2021-05-03My parents passed away less than four months apart. Bagnasco & Calcaterra were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. They led my Father and I as we walked through the death of my Mother with the utmost compassion and professionalism. When my Father passed away they were even more understanding and assisted me every step of the way.
