I recently purchase a car from Ben at Bailey Auto. The experience of buying a car is not one of the task I enjoy doing. Ben made the experience very easy and the customer service I received from Ben was excellent. Ben explained everything I needed to know about my used car and the car is in very good shape. I would send anyone to Bailey Auto to buy a used car.
Second car I have bought from Ben. No problems with either purchase. Good cars and good prices. His inventory may be small, but when he has something I like, hes got my business. I know I can trust him.Thanks again, Ben!
BUYER BEWARE: I was nine months pregnant when I went to Bailey auto looking for a reliable vehicle. I ended up paying over the recommended KBB price. The next day the check engine light comes on within a week its shifting hard. The work Ive had checked out will cost at least $1,200. Not to mention whatever the shifting issue is and the other warning light I havent checked yet. I called the owner to see if there was anything we can do to work out some of the repairs or if hed take a look at check engine light or flat out buy it back for a reasonable loss on my part. The owner refuses to do anything apologizing Im having so many problems but just keeps stating it was bought as is and joking I should have let the next person take it. Even buying vehicles as is in the past I have not met a dealer that was more rude to their customers or wouldnt stand behind the vehicle within 500 miles of purchase. I spent roughly 6,000 for my vehicle to receive a lemon. Lastly, I had to drive it illegally or leave it parked for days because dealer could not generate correct license plate needed.
I highly recommend making a trip to Bailey Auto. The owner, Ben, is probably the sweetest dealer youll ever come in contact with! He was very helpful when I came to look at the car that I was interested in. He gave me a great deal and I walked away with my dream car! He takes care of his inventory and so theyre all top notch and fairly priced. If anyone in my family needs a car, Bailey Auto is the first place we will look!
Super nice guy and excellent customer service. He worked with me in the course of 3 days (where he had multiple obligations) to get me a car for a last minute road trip. After a day trip to Ann Arbor, he met me after hours to purchase the car and the very next day, before 11:00 am, he had a new plate on my new car. Amazing communication. Great first car buying experience.
Honest and fair prices. Timely replies. The owner is an average guy who doesnt want to get ripped off and certainly doesnt want to rip others off. He also knows quite a lot about each vehicle in his inventory. A great place/person to do business with, and I will go there soon for my next vehicle purchase.
I didnt buy a vehicle but... I broke down on the road and went to the door to borrow a lug wrench. They were so very nice to me even though they were busy. They made time for me and let me borrow the wrench. He even walked out to offer to help me. From my experience good character will follow into ones business which would make this a good place to go get a vehicle and trust the character of the business.
Wed been searching the tri-state area for a service truck to add to our fleet. He had exactly what we were looking for and made the buying process easy! We were coming from a couple of hours away, so most of our dealings were over the phone and everything was ready to go when we arrived. Truck was exactly as he described, no surprises when we got there to look at it.I would definitely recommend Baily Auto to anyone looking for a solid used vehicle - and we will definitely check with him when we buy in the future!
Well my sister seen a car on the web site loved it had to have it I let her do her research on it and let her tell me everything! It was a 03 Ford Focus 160,000 miles wagon. So on and so forth. Thirsday I called BEN! Myself and did my own call on this very car told me all the same things he told my sister I asked a few more important questions than she did. I explains to him that k would be driving 2 hours to see this car and didnt want to waste my time he was very nice very understanding! Im glad to say we made the drive Saturday met with BEN! Looked at car drove it I tore it apart checked it out too to bottom nothing he said was untrue and nothing I could find nothing seriously wrong with an 03 Michigan car! Drove handled well he was a available on a Saturday at 5pm. Again Ben very nice very helpful honest and flexible! I purchased a 2003 Honda Civic from Bailey Auto in the middle of February 2016. Ben was a very honest, forthright and kind individual to work with. He gave me a vehicle history report showing that there had been two minor accidents with the car. Asking price was fair and it ran very well for its age.As with buying any used car, you should expect to perform at least some of the routine maintenance mentioned in the manual. Mechanically the car checked out great. Performed all the scheduled maintenance and the car is running like a dream. I would not hesitate to purchase from Bailey Auto again. Thank you Ben!
The person was very friendly and we purchased a 2008 Ford Taurus X SEL, as is, no warranty. As is is a trap, and we have had nothing but problems since we bought our vehicle in November 2015. We have had the car less than 3 months and had to have transmission work done ($800+), new breaks, rotors, pads, and calipers ($900+ with under 1,500 miles driven). We were told the brakes were fine when they clearly werent. The transmission cooler was bypassed under the hood, which led to a problem it is currently being serviced for, and we were not told this was done when we purchased the vehicle. I have nearly $2,000 in repairs in under 3 months, and were looking to get rid of it already. Certainly wouldnt recommend this place.
Nice people. Had to drive a distance for the vehicle, so they were very helpful with information prior to me arriving. Vehicle has some issues and they do not have a mechanic, so nothing had been done to the unit prior to sale. Would recommend a mechanic look at vehicle prior to sale, so you know what you are getting. Overall, would use again, just have my mechanic with me.
Great experience with Ben and he was very kind and honest about the work that had been done to the car I wished to purchase, and some of the very small issues that the car had up front (i.e. air conditioning and tranny fix in the past). Unfortunately, wether it was unbeknownst to him or there was a temporary fix done to the front suspension prior to the car being sold to him; one day day after bring the car back to GR from Bailey the front right strut (or wheel bearing) began rattling pretty bad.Not a huge deal as I dont mind having the suspension replaced in the front for a smooth ride.Thanks again, Ben!

2020-06-01Ben is a terric guy and very trustworthy. We broke down in front of his business. He helped us get our car to a mechanic to get inspected although we knew it was not good. It was a weekend and mechanic was closed. Ben insisted we drive his personal vehicle back to our hrhome n Midland. We took it back 2 days later. Mechanic had not looked at our car yet. We went home to Midland and next day found that repairs on our car would be more than the car was worth. We sold it to the mechanic and purchased a car from Ben that he had shown us. Its a great car, low mileage and a great price.

2016-09-12Ben was a decent guy who was very helpful and honest about his cars. I was in need of a car quickly and he had a model I was interested in at a reasonable price. I figured he was from a small town, reasonable overhead, and would probably know what he had and its condition. I was right! I drove away in a nice Toyota at a very reasonable price. He was willing to work with me and even take it to a mechanic to have it checked out before I bought the car. No hassle and all in all a good experience.

2019-05-15We bought a 2015 Chevy truck it had higher miles. And it had normal ware and tare. As expected for a higher miles veical . Ben was nice and did offer for us to get the truck checked out . We did not before the purchase, but did after, there was a minor but expensive thing to fix and Ben paid for it. He didnt have to do that but he did and we got it taken care of . We bought the truck as is and he still helped us out with that. However if he offers for you to get the vehicle checked do so it is normally free. We are happy with are purchase

He makes sure He has good, reliable vehicles . The vehicle I bought drove like new, and reasonably priced as well. 2016-07-18My husband and I were out and about looking at cars at 7 in the evening, nothing was open. We stopped by just to look and the owner just happened to be there. He gave us plenty of time and care. Allowed us to test drive the car we wanted even though it was not normal business hours. He answered all of our questions and looked into pricing for us. He had a detailed list of what he repaired on the car. He has a heart for people and you can tell he loves his job! He wants people to be as excited and happy with the car as he was buying it. He treats the cars like he would treat his own personal car. I will certainly recommend others to stop by and buy a car from him! He was excellent!

2018-05-29The purchase of an automobile is rarely an easy decision to make. What type of vehicle will serve me best? How new (or old) of one should I buy? What is the best price range for me, etc. Ben goes out of his way to make that decision as easy for a perspective buyer as possible. I recently purchased a Ford F150 pickup from Bailey Auto and couldnt be happier with my decision to do so. I felt like Ben was more concerned about helping find the best vehicle for me that was within my price range, than he was about making a sale. He is knowledgeable, yet friendly and caring. Bailey Auto will ALWAYS be my first choice when looking for a used vehicle!

2018-03-29It was so easy to work with Ben. He may have a small inventory, but all the cars are great, and he has also taken great care of the cars. Plus, he really knows about the cars he is selling. Ben was so patient and helpful through out this car purchasing process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
