$5 cover for absolutely no reason.
Great dive bar! Highly recommended to escape from the day. They have a pool table and the drinks are cheap. They do serve food but you have to see if the kitchen is open. Limited menus of comfort food at convenient prices (less than $10).
Im not even sure they were officially open at 2pm when my brother and I strolled in on a whim. We walked in and I instantly said, This is my kind of bar. The service was fantastic; friendly, personable, without any fluff. Good drinks at a good price. If you havent had a few drinks here youre missing out. If you have, you probably arent reading this review and go here all the time.
I love the atmosphere here. They did a great job accommodating during covid and keeping tables safe. Our bartender was very attentive.
I went to the Baltimore bar with a mask on and they asked me for a ID I told them I’m 69 and when I took the mask off they said I looked like 42 and bought me a drink very nice people When I left I felt like I was 18

Stopped in only because my friend saw the place on the AMC show and had to see it. For a fairly busy Saturday in town with the Marathoners in town, we were able to sit at the bar and watch the U of M / MSU game. Staff was friendly, and engaging, prices were average. We came back again on Sunday, until closing and had a great time.
Hilda the owner was a true gem. She laced us with the most flavorful drinks. The long islands she created had us feeling great. The rounds of Pickle backs with Jameson was the icing on the cake. The atmosphere was low key good vibes and good music. The added bonus was playing pool. I highly recommend this spot. Affordable, easily accessible and clean. Thanks Miss Hilda😙
Very pricey all me and my guest had was store bought wing dings and fries and two shoots of congac bill was $44. Plus a $5 cover charge.
This is one of the last old Detroit bars in the new gentrified downtown. Epic late nights at this bar. The kind of place where anything can happen. The ladies that own it are absolutely the best. Not a bro bar.
The Baltimore represents the spirit of Detroit. Authentic, gritty, fun, and friendly. Always great music. Im old, but I have never taken a seat in the back room. I start dancing the minute I walk through the door, and never stop! Some of my best times have been crammed in with strangers dancing, laughing, and sweating in that back room until they close. Ill still be dancing there when Im 60, if they let me!!
Baltimore bar is just a dumpy little old style pub in Greektown. I visited this Pub because I was on the Detroit pedal bar tour earlier that evening. They were kind enough to allow us all to use their bathroom facilities. The staff seemed pretty friendly. I would say it is worth giving the Baltimore a try next time youre downtown Detroit.

Classic hole in the wall. Cheap drinks. Fries are amazing but dont be surprised if your burger is served on sliced bread.

Horrible customer service... The bartenders were all standing around he actually was having more shots than he poured and he absolutely forgot our drinks when we asked someone else she asked who was helping us instead of just taking our order😒

I really dont get why people go here. Its a dive bar with upscale prices. The whole point of going to a dive bar is because the drinks are cheap.

2021-06-19Great bar to have some drinks rustic atmosphere, I visit every time I come to Detroit. Eddie the manager awesome customer oriented manager to handle your drinking needs . Has a nice little patio if you prefer out doors.

2021-08-14Had never been here before. We were hungry for a burger and just happened in on our way to Ford Field. Kevin waited on us. Best service we ever had. Burger was real hand pressed beef. Delicious. Loved the neighborhood bar atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

2021-10-09If youre looking for a welcoming drinking atmosphere in Detroit with a great owner and bartenders, this is the place to go. I love the vibes and the owner, Danny makes you feel at home. Hes the best but I must warn you, if youre not a drinker dont go cuz he will make sure you have a great time.

2021-06-16Its a LOVE HATE Relationship with this bar. One of the first bars I frequented in DETROIT. First off ..the patrons are friendly and its a place where everyone knows your name. Family owned... So you may run into Hilda the Queen/Owner... Watchout she will get you drunk...her sons run the place each with a different style. The bartenders are attentive.. If you love sports ask for Eddie...he is the man, tell him CARTER sent you. Great for singles and couple dates.. I would recommend having a beer a shot and a grilled cheese.

2020-10-13They have a patio with seating and umbrellas. The drinks are good. Try the Rita Special if you like vodka. The crowd is mixed. Sits right at the intersection, so you can see all of the action. Inside seating and air conditioning. Masks are mandatory. $5 for ladies to get in. Outside get crowded, lack of seating.

2019-12-08Good atmosphere but our party left. Partly because the bar staff seemed kind of rude. First, my friend said the tall guy was rude, so I bought the next round from the lady. She wasnt that friendly and was trying to short us on the shots. Kenny however took care of us, he seemed really cool. Anyway, 2 stars for good music and atmosphere.
