Perfectly okay for a cheap Chinese restaurant
I ordered my food at 7:30pm and when my food did not show up after an hour I called and they ensured me that my food was on its way so I waited the restaurant is now closed and I have still not received my order. What make this worse is that my card was charged for the meal and I now have to call to cancel the purchase. I will not be

Its alright. Nothing stands out as a dish to not be missed, its all just okay. Sushi is good, but the meat to rice ratio is heavy on the rice. Steamed pot stickers are always good, probably the best thing on the menu. Best advice, add 10-15 minutes to whatever time they tell you your meal will be ready.
Okay, the chicken here is so bad quality that I ended up throwing out half my meal since it was either just breading, cartilage, or inedible ligaments instead of normal, consumable chicken meat. I had sesame chicken with lo mein noodles just for reference. The flavor wasnt awful, but it was also far from the best Ive ever had. I am not going to be going back here and I advise you to spend your money elsewhere.
Called and ordered the quart of sesame chicken and a quart of Mongolian beef with crab rangoons. Woman was very rude when I requested delivery and hung up before getting total. Took an hour to get here ( we live 5 min away). Charged a $5 delivery fee! Sat down to dig in and Mongolian beef had like 3 pieces of beef in it! Chicken was super fatty and hard to cut. Totally overpriced for what we got! And to top it off 3 of 4 family members ended up having stomach issues! Will never order from here again!
Food is decent but not great. Customer service is NOT good. They have their lunch menu online all day, but WILL NOT honor it all day. I paid for a lunch special because I wanted the crab that came with it, went to pick it up, and was told that I was getting the same thing they just made it the dinner combo. I got home and realized they charged me an extra $2 and the order WAS NOT the same. They changed my order WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME AHEAD OF TIME. When I went back to get my crab Rangoons and $2 back, they refused to help me. Telling me it was my fault for ordering the lunch, even though its available on the online menu all day. I will never order from them again. The customer service makes the food not worth it.
My sweet n sour sauce has tasted different Everytime I ordered and this time was absolutely disgusting. I didnt even finish my food. Food was cold when it got her. Price on online receipt and what I was given to sign was completely different. Gen tso chicken was nasty gummy dark meat. Horrible horrible food. Its gone down hill the past 2 times Ive ordered from them. Unfortunate that I see this happening to what used to be a good Chinese place.
May 12,19 we ordered two dinners had them delivered.45 minutes and it came hot, all the sauces,fortune cookie included.Food was delicious.Great price for the dinner.
Over-priced sloppy rolls. They are, on average, $2 higher per roll than Grandville.We ordered a few items online at 5:30pm, including shrimp low mein (remember this, it is important in the story later on). We drove there 35 minutes after we ordered and I asked how much longer on our meal - because I figured it wouldnt be done yet and I expected to wait a little. They couldnt find our order! They looked and didnt even see our ticket, which means they hadnt even begun to prepare it!I had to show them my confirmation email to prove that I even ordered it, then they searched through their emails and finally found it. Then they said it would be at least 30 minutes before it would be ready. So, they said they would deliver it free of charge (after I asked) - no delivery fee, but of course I was going to tip the driver bc he doesnt deserve to get screwed bc of their mistake.So...FINALLY almost 2 HOURS after our original order, our order shows up at 7:15 pm. I tip the driver, and we are excited to dig in...We go to dig into the SHRIMP low mein, the ONE thing we were looking forward to, and its chicken! Disgusting canned chicken. W/e screw it, weve waited two hours and were starving. Then we go to eat our California rolls and they are loose, falling apart, with avocado oozing out. They were just a pain to eat.Bad experience all around .We already didnt want to go there bc they are so much more expensive, but this pushed us over the line. Grandville from now on. Even the Sushi in Rivertown Mall food court is cheaper and better. Its worth it just to drive to Grandville, save money, AND get better food!
Ordered online. They waited twenty min later to call and tell me they would not deliver to my house. They may have a 9 mile delivery radius or a 4 mile delivery radius. I dont know if they know. When asked why I could even cash out a delivery order for my address online they said they didnt know. Was really looking forward to trying their sushi but I guess Ill stick to Maru in GR or Lucky Tea in GH
Just pick up my ordered from bamboo express and I want to thank them for my food. Fresh and perfect, so thank you for that. Especially since it was close to close.
They forgot our order, we called they said “oh we must have forgot your order, it’ll be there in 20” my friend and i waited over an hour and a half for our food, still 2 hours late!! we also ended up getting food poisoning!! do not recommend this place anymore.
This place has great food, large portions and fresh! I am really not sure why anyone would compare it to the frozen section at Meijer, maybe they need to get out more.
Food was OK, but not great. Very bland. Drive 10 minutes extra to #1 Chinese in Coopersville, you’ll get a lot better food.
Worst restaurant ever. I place an order for delivery. The Lady took down my phone number wrong even though I have it to her 4 times. It took almost 3 hours to finally get my food. The sushi was basically just rice. Barely stuffed with anything and in some of them it was literally just rice and the hot meal I got was cold and tasted TERRIBLE. NEVER EAR HERE!!!! If Google allowed 0 star reviews this would be 0 stars.
Crab ragoons are really good, eggrolls are really good. We got a lot of food and all was good. This was our first time ordering food from this place and it was a good choice.

My husband and I order Bamboo Express quite often! The customer service is outstanding as well as their quality of food. This place never disappoints! Highly recommend!
Definitely my least favorite Chinese I’ve been to. The pot stickers are good but the fried rice was awful. Chicken was rubbery and the broccoli was raw.
Disappointed with their Special Rolls, they are over priced and not very good. For the price of $11.50 per roll, I was expecting something more. I will not go back. I will order an amazing roll from Maru for the same amount of money.

Delivered the wrong rice, and the honey chicken does not look like what Ive had in the past. And waited an hour for the wrong thing... Wont be ordering from here anymore. The only upside is the crab Rangoon.
Ive ordered delivery four seperate times, and theyve all taken 1-2+ hours to get delivered. Every time I called in they said my order was out for delivery. If you cant go and get pickup yourself, dont order here.
Decent food, only buffet quality but reasonable pricing and convenient location. Their crab ragoons are some of the best I have had. I would recommend for your Chinese food cravings.

They are a little over priced, and I ordered delivery and it took over an hour I live 5 min away from the restaurant, and when I called to see where my order was she said my address with the wrong street.. This is the 2nd time Ive done delivery and it have always been over an hour and I have never been more that 5 min down the street.
Some of the worst chinese food ive ever consumed. Rice lacked any sort of flavor. Lo mein tasted lile chicken noodle soup. I will not be returning here. I advise you to take your money somewhere else.

Ive had better dog food. Egg rolls tasted spoiled, lo mein was mediocre. I dont know what happened to this place, but that was awful.
The chicken lo mein noodles were so overcooked they were soggy which is what I was most excited for 😭😭 wish it tasted better.

Average, nothing special. Ordered delivery yesterday and was going to pay cash, but the driver said he didnt have any change on him so he ended up getting to keep all the extra cash, a $10 tip. I thought all delivery drivers were supposed to carry some cash on them to make change.
Never got our food. Waited over two hours then called and cancelled, asked for a refund. Staff were unorganized and seemed clueless as to what our order was. Never again

2021-11-04I visited this restaurant for the first time a few months ago and have been back almost every week since I found it. Bamboo Express has some of the best food around hands down, especially their sushi. Not only is the food excellent, but I always receive great customer service. I would absolutely recommend!

2021-08-06This place is consistently delicious. Portions are plentiful and the general Tsos chicken, while a little on the mild side, is delicious with the fried rice. Egg rolls are great too! Love that they deliver and it’s always hot and fresh :).

2021-02-25Usually the food is okay, about you can expect from cheap Chinese takeout. Not only was I charged extra because I ordered the lunch deal which was listed as available on GH, but really wasnt available, but I was missing food. When I called the business, the person who answered the phone was rude and asked me what do you want in which I replied some reconciliation. I got a 20% coupon. I probably wont be back. Plus the food was absolutely terrible, I literally threw away my whole meal.

2020-12-30Ordered delivery for sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls. Delivery came fast and the driver was kind, but the food was awful. My chicken tasted very foul and was drenched in grease. The first egg roll was okay but the second tasted off. Straight to the trash
