Victor is my nail tech and he does excellent quality work! My nail swag is 💯💅🏼😘. This salon is clean and very classy. Also, be mindful its best to call ahead for an appointment they tend to get really busy throughout the day and dont even think about the weekends without an appt! Andy also does excellent work and they are very friendly to their guests. Check out my 💅 and give them a try!!
After trying many different nail salons, I can confirm that this is the best nail salon in town. All the nail techs are great, but my favorite is Missy.
I went for the first time and My nails are amazing, the place was clean, and even though they were busy I called a couple of hours ahead and they made me an appointment so I walked right in... But I only get a basic short set of nails and $45 is a bit high for them. Just a warning to those that arent looking for anything fancy... Youre still paying the price for it even if you dont get it.
I’ve been here a few times and this place is my absolute favorite! They are very gentle, take their time and make sure everything about your nails is exactly the way you want them. Once we came in 5 minutes after close and they had no problem doing two full sets. The prices seem a little high at first but I think they’re trying to avoid the “hidden fees” most nail salons charge you for at the end of the visit. Even after they were closed hey still did not try to rush through our nails to get us out the door and they didn’t cut up our fingers the way most shops do. It was very clean and upscale looking. I would highly recommend this place.
I’ve been here THREE times. I’ve had to let someone different do my nails each time as the nail tech requested wasn’t available. I spend 100+ here each time. A nail has broken EACH time. And each time I come back I have to wait 1 hour or more to get it ONE nail fixed.
I have been working 60 hour weeks at work and my mother works another 40 at 2 different jobs. Spending the part of my day with her at bamboo was so wonderful. The crew made us laugh, and the ladies working on our nails were so warm and inviting. We will definitely be coming back 💜
One of the male nail techs was very aggressive I told him he was about to cut my skin when he was clipping my nails so he got up and stop doing my nails I didn’t say Anything wrong came Across respect I been waiting 1plus hours in here
Jessie is the best nail tech. Ive gone to many places but they never do what I want. She does, and it lasts. Thank you very much
I got the 141 shellac on my toes and and I asked for powder on my nails he gave me a whole different color then had to put shellac on top of the powder to match my toes with my nails. They are very racist and it takes 5 people to come over to figure out what is the issue. Trina thinks she knows everything. This salon should be booted out of Dearborn.
I had a 130 appointment didn’t get called back until 2 o’clock but definitely worth the wait Jessie did amazing on my nails and the guy that did my pedicure was great!
I absolutely love this place! I have only been there once considering I visit every so often to see family but just from the one time I have been there I can comfortably say this is the place to go. I originally went in over my spring break for a full set of acrylics with studs but ended up getting shellac instead of regular polish ($40 with shellac, $23 for regular). I uploaded a photo of my nails ($55) but I am not joking that it does no justice for how great they actually look. Along with that, I got my nails done a week ago and theres no chipping or anything. Everyone was nice when I walked in, and they helped me right away. No waiting or anything. The only complaint I would say is how long it took; 1 hr 45 minutes. But I can say they really spend the time to give you the length and shape you want. Another plus is even in the time I was there for they were able to hold a conversation and get to know me a little bit myself. Overall, Bamboo Nails & Spa is the place to be!! I will be back!!
I went in on Wednesday 2/19 and got a gel/shellac manicure. It started lifting within a day or two. Today 2/24 it all peeled right off. It didn’t tear my nails up at all. Not a quality manicure for sure.*UPDATE*I went back and Rosie fixed my nails on 2/28. She did such an amazing job and took extra steps to insure my manicure would last this time. Thank you Rosie. Black/red nails are the manicure she did.

I usually don’t write but this time I’m not letting it go. I found this place by pure luck (so I thought) I had been using for about 2 months. I got up early on this day to go get my nails done because they get super busy, as I am patiently waiting my turn I see I am the only in the lobby left two ladies walk in after me. I had been here for 45 min already, I put my head in my phone next thing I know I look the two ladies are gone one lady is getting a pedi the other is just sitting down I ask the nail tech why I was being skipped no answer ask for a manager and the whole staff acts they don’t who or what a manger is. They just kept saying I would be next. I know they take appointments but no one ever said they had and when I showed them my name was above the two ladies it was ignored. I politely walked out because a bad review is payback enough
Very nice place to get a decent pedicure, they stay pretty busy however so plan accordingly.
You people have the most rudest customer service skills. July 1st my sister made an appointment for our mother and myself for July 2nd. We got to the appointment on time they made my mother wait 55 minutes before taking her. They made me wait 2 hours and 30 minutes with no apology. They never did my nails that day. After all that they even took walk in customers ahead of me that I heard with my own ears didnt have an appointment. They literally offered no apologies for their disgusting treatment of myself and 4 other ladies that were kept waiting and we all had appointments. Then today I decided to give them another chance I called 2 hours ahead of time and I told them about my experience I got in about 10 minutes after my appointment time and they tell me they are backed up and dont know when they can take my appointment. You people have no respect when talking to the customer and Im going to make sure that your rating reflects how you treat customers. Absolutely rude.
I have gone here for a Mani/Pedi twice and each time my nail Polish chips off in less than a week. Update.. Went on 1/29 and today 1/30 just out of the shower is my picture. Im done with them.
Ive been here now two times. I went two weeks ago with my 4 year old and my sister. My daughter got a princess manicure and pedicure, my sister and I got a shellac full set, and I got a deluxe pedicure. All service was AMAZING!.My sister and I went again today and we had Andy, we showed him pictures of what we wanted and he gave us exactly what we wanted!!!They are pretty busy, and a little pricey, but if you want quality its definitely worth the wait and the money!!! If I could give more than 5 starts I would!!!
This is my go to place. They all do an amazing job, can do all of the different and new designs. Not outrageously priced either.

My wife and I recently have to travel downriver to Dearborn for our sons special needs school. So my wife decided to try out this nail salon since it was in the area. The last month she was going here and today was her 3rd visit and didnt start off well due to her obtaining some kind of fungus on her left hand on two nails, she sat at tech 4 last being here. DO NOT GO HERE DIRTY EQUIPMENT. So she gave them a chance to have to wait 45 minutes while others after her got to go. My wife an I are Italian so we can be fiesty and also, served for our country! GOD BLESS! Anyone would be upset if they endured these things, then an arrogant women decided to make comments to techs about getting no tips and laughing about her appointment its not cute when trashy people who probably drive LYFT as employment and probably never graduated from high school. My wife then asked to make an appointment to return since others claim they did. The tech said to call her next week so no such thing as appointments. They do favor others that probably tip them $5 bucks. LOL I can do nothing else but laugh when my wife told me she tried to throw down at the salon with that lady trying to run her mouth but not to my wifes face. She is little but mighty and always know we are packing. SO NEVER gonna return to this dump toxic place. They made claims to my wife it wasnt them and it was her. She been getting nails for like 16 years and never once a fungus.
Called for appointment was told a time to come get there wait a hour for nothing just to be skipped..place is a joke and people here as well dont bother better off going eles where
They have went downhill. Never will I come here for their services again.
They do good work and Jessie is my favorite BUT you will ALWAYS have a wait. It doesn’t matter if you go on the weekend or a Tuesday it doesn’t matter at all you will always be waiting at the very least 20 minutes to the very most hours, unless you give up before that. I do love their work and it’s a nice clean place but I wish they were faster. It’s the best around if they solve that issue. Because this issue is important to me I can only give 3 stars for an otherwise 5 star place.
I was very disappointed with my most recent experience. I had an appointment for three pedicures at 11:30, after waiting 20 minutes we finally got in the chairs. My technician (a man) was using a rotary wheel and cut the cuticle of my toe. Because of personal circumstances I had to stop there. I had to ask for disinfectant or antiseptic to put on the cut, nor did I receive a sincere apology.
So I went here for about a year never really had a problem Then one day they set me in a chair for 45mins and helped the people after me 😒 now I dont normally act out in public but I was totally over the disrespect 😤like my time was not valuable.... then to add insult to injury she trys to tell me they had an appointment 🙄 but when she come out to lobby no one mentioned they had an appointment. They lady Walked in with her daughter after I did and somehow they are completed and out the door and now shes helping the next person and Im still sitting in her chair. I dont pull the black card very often but its not a Coincidence that the 3 people she helped were not black 🤨. I spend alot of money on my nail around 123-150 every time I go. last time I got a fill in and custom colors and it coast me that 🥴 I will never spend my money with this business again.
Best place ever. Every salon I went to and got a long set, they always end up breaking. Because theyre so meticulous and careful with doing it thoroughly the nails dont ever break! I did a lot of heavy work with my nails in 2 weeks with vacation and then renovating. Not one broke. Amazing!
My appt was at 2:30 and they didn’t even start on me till 3:45 They kicked me out after overcharging me $75 for simple nails and my sister $30 for a plain gel nail polish because my ride was 25 minutes late! Disgusting service! Kicked me out in the heat. absolutely not recommended HORRIBLE staff and service DO NOT COME HERE.
Made an appointment for 6pm. Arrived at 5:55, my nails werent started until an hour later. I wouldve left but this was the only time I had available to get this done. She rushed through my services and didnt offer a discount or apologize about the wait even though I had an appointment. The work was decent but not at all worth what they charge and not worth the wait.
The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Not only did they over charge me but they over book appointments. They have people sitting on top of each other. I felt very rushed, and my nails didnt turn out how I like them. I do not recommend these so called nail technicians or this establishment. BEWARE. Dont be fooled by the 4 star rating.
Was not pleased with them at all. Very rude to myself and my daughter. asked for black nail polish and they gave me a dark navy blue. My daughter got black as well you could see right thru the color. Seems if u arent a long term client they have dont care. Went here cuz my normal nail place was closed. They have a price list but it seems they make up what ever price they want. Was not happy.

I went there and sat for an hour. My nails peeled off after TWO days i’m not even joking. Also the water was so gross when they gave me my pedicure. This place is overrated. I’m really mad they they charged me 30 dollars for shellac for them just to peel. Anywhere else I got they charge 25 dollars and they actually last.
Ive been to so many nails salons with terrible luck and horrible experiences.This is the first place that actually satisfied my taste.Very nice inside.The people were very kind.They took care of me and made my nails BEAUTIFUL. More than I could expect.I dont mind paying more for good quality nails.They were a little pricey, but you get gorgeous nails out of it and like I said, you cant put a price on high quality, fancy nails.5 out of 5.I will be back and be a loyal customerMy nails are so so beautiful ❤Very happy and satisfied 🤗
I had an appointment for a full set at 11am. After waiting 35 minutes I finally had to leave at 11:35am because I had work at 1pm and a full set takes an hour. Which is why I scheduled an appointment in the first place. Cause I didnt have time to sit around and wait. This was my first experience with this place and Im never going back. Very disappointed. Why even take appointments if youre not going to prioritize them?
First time there and will definitely be going back. There wasn’t a wait when I got there, the place was VERY clean and the pedicure chairs are clean, functional and new-like. Missy has my nails poppin, I got 2 compliments before walking out and another before I got to my car. She is definitely stuck with me now.
I wanted to spoil myself but couldnt go to my normal place becuz it 20 minutes or so away. i was a little nervous but the lady i had do my pedicure and manicure was amazing. i will be making this my regular place!! love love love the service and atmosphere

Please avoid this salon at all cost. During my pedicure the gentleman used a grater and sliced open the side of my pinky toe. He continued using it after I said oww. Then used the sponge and just left it bleeding The lady who waxed my brows was in such a hurry that I was told she new what to do not to worry and wripped the hair out. I wanted an upward arch but got a strait with a tail. Paid $71 and a day later my foot still really hurts. I asked for a manager and was told he was on lunch today. Lol... yeah right. This was 2 hours of my birthday that I wish I used for something else. Pick another salon.

I came in for a simple pedicure with red nail polish and after the soaking thats when everything went downhill, she did not shape my nails properly after I asked if she could fix it she looked at me like I was inconveniencing her. Then she try putting red nail polish on my nails without base coat which is a huge no no. Then after she was rushing to apply three coats of nail polish on within three minutes I ask her could she please touch up around the cuticle area and she just globbed on more red nail polish which looks very uneven and the top coat was not applied right. I asked her if she could redo them and she just looked at me and said theres nothing wrong with them. I dont appreciate being treated like Im nobody especially when Im paying for a service. For her to rush me out just to hurry up and sit in a chair far away from me just so she can start a pedicure on herself. I will not be coming back to this establishment, And I will be disputing charges on my card.
They made my nails super thick and curved. I literally had talons. Lol just wanted a break from doing my own nails and instantly regretted it
They do a GREAT job whether I get a pedicure or my nails done, no complaints from me there, but the wait times are ridiculous some days. It doesnt matter if you have a appointment or not, sometimes wait times have been 30 minutes to a hour long. I just wish they would improve that.
Got a full set a classic french manicure was not done right one nail was longer than the other and the white strip was thicker on one side and looked so unprofessional it is not clean or professional save time and energy go somewhere else

I had one of the most horrible experiences with the male technicians I walked in with a smile on my face and out with anxiety, second hand shame and hurt. He was aggressive, rude and very disrespectful for no apparent reason. Zero customer service and nail skills. I told him from the start I don’t want them thick/bulky. He made each nail 6x thick and when asked to fix them he got up and left after telling me it’s my fault and arguing with me non stop for truly nothing. That’s besides how much I had to tolerate his unjustifiable aggressive, rude and disrespectful behaviors from the start till the end. Never going back there again for the love of peace and respect.
***5 years later and they continue to make me happy and I never feel judged. They continue to add high end spa treatments and polish. The guy that did my nails (shellac-mani) made sure he was doing what I wanted, and I was never in pain (cuticle cutters). I recently moved to Dearborn and needed a new place to get my nails done. They had 5 stars so I chose them. The first 3 or 4 times everything was fine. The last time I went in, a couple days after, I got a terrible infection in one of my fingers and had to get it cut open and drained. A couple days later the same thing happened to my thumb! 2 urgent care trips later and antibiotics, I will never go back. Ive had my nails done hundreds of times and this is a first. Definitely dirty tools were used. I cant say that everyone there uses dirty tools, but this last guy did.
Do not go to these people. They overbook appointments they offer no explanation or apologies for making you wait. They will speak to you with with attitude. Nope Im reporting them to the BBB. Im going to tell all my followers to stop using this location.

Went there 3 times and each time I do the same exact style for my nails and they always charge me more and more when I am not doing anything extra. I made an appointment for acrylic nails and pedicure and when they finished my feet they told me they cant do my nails, how does that make sense? I made an appointment for both and you wanna tell me you cant do them for no reason at all? very unprofessional and they act like they dont understand what you are saying but they really do they just wanna be petty, do not come here, very unprofessional, very cheap quality, petty, horrible service
Got my nails done here on Wednesday and they looked terrible the next day. They started peeling and I was told I couldnt come in to get them fixed because they were too busy. Im disappointed.

The guy who did my mani pedi shaped and painted my nails perfectly! My nails look fake, he did such a great job!! I never go anywhere else. 12/10 recommend always. $40 for a regular mani and pedi 😊❤

Waited almost an hour to receive the worst pedicure I’ve ever experienced. She took ~15 minutes (an older lady) on the entire pedicure and I had to tell her to cut my cuticles and remind her to trim my nails. Gave them two chances, I will not return.
Very friendly. Got us in together on a Sunday, no problems. Best leg/foot massage ever. I want to highly recommend, but then I dont because it will get too busy for next time. We loved it.
Ive been on 2 different occasions, and will definitely be back. The first time was for pedis and then today for nails and eyebrows. I have never had shellac, and it was a great first time experience. I couldnt be happier.

First time at Bamboo Nails & Spa and I have to say I was not disappointed. Got shellac and only took a little over thirty minutes to complete. Yim (I hope I spelled it halfway decently) was great and did a wonderful job on my short nails. Will definitely go back.

My eyebrows look amazing. My upper lip looks amazing. The wax was a perfect temperature and the tech really took her time to make sure they were just right. Not my first visit and will not be my last.I dont look too hot, but it was a hella mess before i walked inside.Thank you again Bamboo.
I love this nail place. They are super clean. Plenty of staff. I never have to wait. Everyone is super friendly. The whole place a has a nice zen feel to it. I always leave relaxed and half asleep. Lol I dont do fake nails as Im a bartender. Any other place always tells me that cant so certain colors because I dont get fake nails. Not this place. Im so happy with my nails.

I was getting a regular mani/pedi, when my pedicure was done the Tech stop put me on hold to do someone elses nail 💅 who was getting a full set my manicure was not important to him it was ABOUT WHO WAS SPENDING THE MOST MONEY AT THAT TIME I WENT OFF ON HIM that was the most DISRESPECTFUL thing that has happened to me my money was not enough I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN so my mom sister, 3 cousins and their friends will go their again their on the BLACK BALL LIST. IJS.

Very comfortable, and clean place, and the nail tech that did my pedicure was outstanding, she took her time, and she made my feet feel very smooth, she also made sure I was comfortable, meaning she adjusted my chair, my settings on the massage chair, it was my first visit here and I must say I finally found the right nail salon for me!

It was a good experience. It was quite and relaxing and the person performing my manicure and pedicure new what he was doing.
I was there last Friday and got my nails and toes done shellac on my toes and a full set shellac in my hands I got charged 100$ and my polish is already chipping started chipping on Tuesday. Never again will I go to this salon and never again will I pay 100$ 😑
Took my 8 year old in for polish the nail tech did a horrible job she was rude to my daughter and they charged me 14 where it’s 5 dollars every else the staff are unprofessional and rude never going there again

I have been waiting 45 minutes. There ate two nail techs working at 6pm only two other customers here getting their nails done, and a customer sitting in a pedicure seat soaking her feet waiting to be helped. Unacceptable!

2022-06-05Was first visit for me , Hana was the tech who did my pedicure, she greeted my at first and was nice till she offered to do shellac and I said “ No thanks I want regular “ she then changed her attitude to rude one and shocked me with her performance when I asked her 3 times to shape my nails and make them same length, she didn’t, and instead she barely worked the minimum on scrubbing my heels I had to please the front desk young lady to ask her to do the same length and shape , she got uglier after she was told …and I had to grab the nail clipper and do my nails myself …I’m so surprised this place has this rating, it can be only explained if it was under different management or different staff .Never again ❌

2022-03-26The BEST nails spa in Dearborn, amazing people they make you feel like family, Trina has been doing my nails for the past 3 years. she never failed at making me so satisfied with my nails and eyebrows.. they treat all their customers with love and respect. LOVEEEE this place❤️Highly recommend.

2022-07-21Very upset that my nails are already peeling off and it hasn’t even been a week since I’ve had them. Very pricy for cheap polish that doesn’t even last a week. Also I called and made an appointment ahead of time, came in and they could not find my appointment anywhere in the books and treated me as a walk in. The owner yelled that she hated walk ins while I was there. Did not feel welcomed, I should’ve just left when they were scrambling to look for multiple peoples appointments. Another lady walked in right after me and said she made an appointment and they couldn’t find it. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Owner was cussing loudly and talking about other clients where everyone could hear.

2022-04-09Dont make an appointment and expect them to honor it. I had to wait as a walk in. I also said three times, only paint my daughters nails, they gave her a full shellac mani. I was getting a pedi so I could not see what was going on over there..I know they understood me.

2022-06-06I just moved near this place, I used to go to sun nails. I absolutely love this place, on a busy Saturday they did a great job. The first time I had a good pedi and mani, I will return. I have been passing this place for years, Im glad I finally stopped in.
