As life has happened, Barbara and her team have been with us every step of the way. Comment: My husband and I were with another major insurance carrier for 20 years. In that time, we were never contacted by an agent from the company. We were in a major auto accident a year ago. We were assigned 3 different adjusters. Each adjuster was located in another state, i.e., Arkansas, Pennsylvania and New York. It was very frustrating trying to deal with different people in different time zones. My Mom and Dad have had State Farm for over 60 years. When my Dad was sick, Barbara would come out to their car to meet with them and take care of their business. She knew them both by name and was familiar with events in their lives. When my Dad died, Barbara called my Mom to see if she was ok. Barbara subsequently met with my Mom and processed her insurance policy quickly. She was thorough and explained each step in detail to my Mom. It was seamless and so efficient. When our insurance was expiring, I contacted Barbara for quotes from State Farm. Barbara and her State Farm team were able to provide better coverage for less money on every policy we owned! She made the transition from our old company to State Farm so easy! Within 2 days, I received a call saying that Barbara would like to order copy paper and printer ink for me and asking what kind of printer I have. My eyes nearly popped out of my head and for the first time, THIS TEACHER WAS SPEECHLESS. When I went to pick up the supplies, Id received a WHOLE box of paper and TWO Extra Large size ink cartridges! While I thanked Barbara profusely, she insisted that this is her way of thanking ME for teaching our students during this difficult time. I told her that weve all been gas lighted by all the corporate ads on tv telling us all how much they care about us - Its individual people like Barbara Lightfoot-Nielsen that really demonstrate how much Jake from State Farm really does care about their clients. Well done Barbara! The next commercial should be about YOU! State Farm is lucky to have you and your team - and you really live up the slogan, Like a good neighbor State Farm is there. Thank you. Comment: Ive been with Barbara Lightfoot-Nielsen for 30 plus years. I was one of her first customers when she started with State Farm living in Vacaville but two years later moved back to Contra Costa County and never thought of finding another agent down here. People ask me why I dont go to an agent closer, my response is why, if its not broken why fix it. In the years Ive been with Barbara, EVERYONE that Ive dealt with over the many years I would never, ever trade it for anything. Comment: I have been with Barbara for 35 years. Its usually a difficult time if your dealing with car insurance issues but Barbara and her staff have always been amazing to deal with. I lost my son in July and Barbara herself took care of helping me process his life insurance. She has always gone far and above what was necessary to get things done. I believe the entire staff has been the same for the last at least 30 years. That has to say something about all of them. Comment: Barbara and her office staff may be some of the most unprofessional agents Ive met.I have held car insurance, home and multiple business insurances for 17 years. 2 years ago my husband was rear ended (not his fault)it took 2 months to even get someone to look at the vehicle. Thats two months we had no car. Then he had a fender bender a few agi that was his fault. In the accident there was only front end damage. While in possession of state farm the car was hit again totaling it. State Farm dropped him for similar accidents showing a pattern. Thats what we pay insuramce for and where our agent should have gone to bat for us.The icing on the cake. When I asked for the policy information for the policies covered Barbra dropped myself from the car policy. Never letting me know she was no longer insuring me. She claims my email was me stating I was cancelling my policy. Heres the copy and past from my email.Can you please send me all of the coverage I receive through you for both my personal business, Grit grace faiths insurance and workmens comp and my personal car and rental policies. I would like to know what my coverage is as well as what I am paying. Thank youDont waste your time and money this office is a mess and customer service is not a priority. I will spare you the details on the way Barbara spoke to me when I called her on the topic.
