Great place to stop and walk the doggy on your trip south.
Clean. Nice place to walk around and stretch the legs. Vending machines. Picnic tables. Pet area. Plenty of shade trees. Impressive gardening and landscaping. A beautiful spot as far as rest areas are concerned.
Needs some fresh air in the restrooms.
Visible, easily accessible building. Clean, functioning facilities. Vending machines available. Safe pet walking area across the parking lot from facility.
Im really glad they have vending machines here, bathrooms are clean and it is a really good rest stop. highly recommend.

Me and my wife were driving for many hours and we stopped at this rest stop and we ended up pulling the back seat down and crashing out in the back it was so quiet I never thought I would get good sleep at a rest stop but I did thats why Im writing a review the bathrooms were clean and when I was getting up there picking up the trash and cleaning the bathrooms that is very good at this time with covid going around you know .
The Master Gardeners make this rest stop excellent to relax

Nice on the outside, has a few vending machines. The bathrooms are filled with flies and mosquitos!
Disgusting. I could have probably peed on the floor and it would go unoticed. No soap. Unsanitary. Feel like I got covid just from walking in. Don’t stop here to save your life. Just drive the extra 28 miles to the next rest area.

During the Day this rest area is great. However this same rest area at night I tell my wife and daughters, not to stop there. The freaks come out at night!

Ive stopped here many times over the years and its always clean and well maintained with a very nice garden walking up to the entrance.
For a rest stop I have to say this is the prettiest one ever! The gardens are just gorgeous with a lovely diversity of blooms.
Clean, NO smell, landscaped like it was an established home, etc. So many reviews talking about how nice this rest stop is and a couple complaints... maybe it was middle of the night on a weekend or they are clicking on the incorrect location.Stop by, stretch your legs and you be the judge.

Its one of the prettiest rest stops Ive ever seen to be honest! The restrooms were clean and the landscaping was so nice! There was also a nice pet area outside.

The most stinky rest stop I have been in. It smelled like a out house and believe me I avoid those. I was jealous of the people with face masks.
Always clean and never any issues when we stop on our road trips to northern Michigan. Fully stocked vending machines too.
Bathroom looked and smelled like hadnt been cleaned in days (or more). Thankfully there was toilet paper and soap(at most sinks) and didnt have to touch any doors after washing hands.
Great place for a bathroom break when you have limited time. They have vending machines and every so often theres a musician or junkie begging for change.
The worst rest stop I’ve ever stopped at. The garbage cans were overly full. Inside had a smell like it haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom floors were soaking wet. Also out of four sinks only two of them had soap.
It was dirty, trash overflowing, out of soap and toilet paper in the womens restroom and there was only 1 picnic table.
Thank God for these places..lol.lol. it was clean & nice..the out side flower beds were well kept & beautiful. .
They had the best flora Ive seen at any rest stop, bar none. They obviously work very hard at that.

For a rest stop, this place is beautiful. Mature trees, mowed grass, dog run area. Clean restrooms and enough stalls for a bus load of senior women going to the casino. Vending machines for snacks. Meh. But the rest stop itself is lovely.
Not a ton to say. The rest area was reasonably clean, had plenty of parking, included a dog walking area for your canine friends.My only complaint, since we stopped during the winter, was the parking lot was plowed lazily. It doesnt take much additional effort to not leave piles of snow in the parking spaces.
This rest area is always busy and always clean. The maintenance staff are the best !!

The bathrooms here are very clean and they also have vending machines inside the building! Vending machines so all kinds of stuff including ice cream bars!! Heck yeah!! This is one rest area to stop at for sure especially if you had just want you even at Tastee Treat on your way somewhere!
I had the best time using the facilities here. The parking is amazing. They are the only rest stop Ive found with chocolate covered honey buns. Will return and recommend to my friends and family.

Michigan rest areas are the best in the country. Many of them, clean and designed well.
Thank God for strangers, let me explain. Got out of my vehicle walked about 10 feet and got extreme cramps or charlie horses in my legs, bent over I could do nothing. A passer by offered me a soda to take my medication, I couldnt move. Thank you so very much. ✝️🕊️

We stopped there on the way to, Ann Arbor. It wasnt as bad little place to stop at, actually. The restrooms were clean and sanitized and everything else seemed to be well taken care of.
Clean and a beautiful place to stop and take a rest. its located in a a good place, plenty of parking spots and snacks can be found inside. if you got a long drive south, resting here for a few minutes would the best option you have, Specially since the next rest Area is about an hour a way

Very dirty smells like pee and bugs covering the sink. Very disappointing being that someone was Supposdely there cleaning but was to busy talking on phone outside than doing his job.
The property is clean and maintained. 1 stall was out of TP. The building is showing signs of age but is still very usable and I felt safe.

Its a rest area.....I mean....yeah. I was able to pee, stretch my legs, make dad noises, and get a variety of vending machine sundries.

2021-07-31Not great. Every single trash can overflowing (arrived on a Saturday around 6 PM). Toilet paper all over bathroom floors, urine on seats, plastic cups on floor, trash blowing around parking lot, smelled like cigarette smoke and pee in the bathrooms.

2022-03-27First one bathroom I went into either had missing toilets or feses everywhere, went across to the other one and stall doors were broken, went to wash my hands and the faucet wasnt working. I think this place needs a good overhaul or new cleaning service! Ridiculous

2019-10-06It was clean and there was access to water outside. The vending machines were well stocked and cooled. THe landscape around it is well kept for this time of year. Overall just a rest stop but a well maintained one. There is also a pet run area.

2019-03-26Nice and clean. Changing tables and 2 womens and 2 mens bathrooms. Plenty of parking. There are 5 vending machines, 2 with snacks and 2 with soft drinks and 1 thats us monster energy drinks. Lots of space to walk and there are picnic tables and grills.

2022-03-06A nice location and clean restrooms but the changing table is literally in the main walkway into the bathroom which is not ideal for changing a toddler.

2017-10-04Clean restrooms, awesome log exterior. There is a picnic area you can BBQ and relax. The rest area is powered by a large row of solar panels.

2021-07-05Nice facility. Use the dog run for pet business, read the signs and dont bring pets in the areas theyre not allowed. Also the cement in the sun was super hot to walk on - please let pets walk on the grass when its hot out people! Plenty of shade if you are looking to chill for a few before getting back on the road, and the grounds look well maintained, pretty landscaping, etc..
