Comment: Perfect place for pickleball at sunset! Salty air, tons of seagulls in the background…Oh except when one of the basketball players brings a speaker and blasts his music…Otherwise great! Only one court and we got lucky that there were only 4 people who wanted to play pickleball so it worked out.Bathrooms available, and it’s right on the water where you rent kayaks. Lovely location.

Comment: EEEEEEEASY parking, I love that there are water buoys to protect from sharks 🦈 thats the best part. Great place to take the family. They have kayaking for like $12 an hour per person. Fun stuff. They have floating bounce houses for the kids. It made me wish I was a kid again. Good times, good times. I would give it a 5 if they had bounce houses for adults lol.

But I do feel like you get what you pay for.My main complaint would be with the staff, they were not very helpful or inviting.The kayaks were ok, they are a little hard to steer (I am an experienced ocean kayaker) most likely because of the type/quality of kayak.There is a reasonably priced parking lot across the street and public bathrooms located right next to the hut where you rent the kayaks.

Comment: It was a warm day and there were lots of people congregating. And thats great. But what is astonishing, is the amount of people not wearing masks, standing face to face as if nothing is going on. Thats pretty scary. But I will continue to wear my mask because Ive had close people get the covid-19 and go through hell. Im not going to be one of those. I would never step foot on that beach without a mask. Some humans have some amazing behavioral patterns. Almost lower than an animal in their way of thinking. But its their choice and their life...🤔😱🤷‍♂️🙄👎💥

Comment: This beach is small and almost always crowded on the weekends. The sand in the water is slimy because you are in the marina but its not to dirty. During the summer its fun because they have big inflatables. I keep coming back here for my kid.

Comment: Good area for paddle boarding. Street parking is still free, if you can find it. There is lots of metered parking, all within walking distance. It is a no wake zone, so it is nice for little ones to play on the beach. A food stand on the beach along with a rental for paddle boards and kayaks. Its not a big beach area from shore to sidewalk. There are usually floating jumpers in the water, not sure who sets those up. Its a good small beach area.

Comment: Love this place been coming here for years they have basketball courts, racket ball courts and the beach is ideal for kids also has a small play area with kayak rental. A very unique place the beach on this side is ideal or better for kids learning to swim or not yet use to the waves and adults that just want to come to a more private setting there are no waves on this side of the beach......

Comment: Bay Shore is a great spot that I am sorry to say bias about. It is a great spot to go swim in the Marina, the bay or Open water. I know the children like Bayshore, is also tyackes that are there, and pretty OK restaurants. Its right by the beach and just a great spot to be, and not worry about things that youd worry about at the beach. Its agree family and location.

Comment: This is a great place for both kids and their parents. . Nice to have a playground that’s right near the water. The parking is free on the street or metered parking and there’s usually plenty of it. One of the great things about Long Beach of the many little waterways beaches and places you can go with the family this is one of them check it out. A good tip is also that you can rent kayaks And the still waters of this ocean inlet make for a fun time kayaking for both beginners and experienced.

Comment: Tons of people go here in summer on weekends. Very family friendly many kids. Water is fairly clean and one can swim laps early in morning. Beware parking is often full even the pay lots. Basketball courts attract rough sort. Runners can run on nearby beach trail.

Comment: Whats really nice about this place is that its at the end of Bay Shore Avenue, which runs along the salt water canal in Belmont Shores, so you can go to the 🌴 beach where theres ample safe 🏊 swimming separating the boating lanes with roped buoys, and be at a public park all at the same time!This place is also directly across the street from a proper white sand beach with plenty off parking and even a concrete bike path.Its also just a block or so from all myriad of shops and eateries, and its well serviced by looking beach 🚌 bus lines which arrive every few minutes.
