Beaumont Urgent Care by WellStreet - Macomb in other cities:
They where wonderful in handling mine and my daughters needs and made everything very easy. They have to most gentle people to help with what is going on with you. They also explain everything ever so wonderfully as well to reassure that you are okay before leaving. Went to another place Mclaren and they said we will put you in an infested room and you will wait hours beyond hours and you can go somewhere else. So yes Beaumont urgent care is the perfect place to go for none life threatening issues. Got a sprain go, need to be seen go. They are truly wonderful
They got me right in. No time wasted. But my experience was a bit of an emergency and I feel like they had me waiting way to long for a Dr to come in to access my injury. Once the dr came in he wasted no time to treat me. He was very nice and very professional. He told me everything he was going to do and I felt very comfortable with my treatment. I just wish they would have been quicker to access it since it was a poisonous issue.
Went there for a possible ankle fracture! There was a wait time of roughly 2 hours. Ended up only waiting 1.5 hours and then it was another 1.5 hours once I was back in the room, to the time I was leaving due to x rays, etc! Definitely worth the wait as everyone was very friendly and got the job done as quick as they could! It definitely beats the ER, maybe not in wait time, but definitely in price!
Service was excellent. The staff was very courteous and friendly and helpful. My only issue was the wait time. Appointments were set up in seven minute increments and that’s not a realistic amount of time for a doctor/nurse/nurse practitioner to see and consult with the patient. As a result, everyone ends up running behind
Melissa helped us to get into our account so that we were able to get my sons chart up and running for an upcoming surgery and she was so professional and helpful. She walked her through the entire process and didnt hang up until we were all set. She was pleasant and caring and there should be more people like her!
My experience with the doctors themselves was great. My one star rating comes from my experience of witnessing how the people at the front desk treated another person who was looking to get checked in. It was someone whose first language clearly wasn’t English and had a hard time understanding what was being said. I think more empathy should’ve been shown from those ladies and was really disappointed to see how it was handled.
I had the most pleasant customer service experience ever!!! Meagan & Brittany you should be running that office. The staff was truly kind and wanted to help me. This world needs more people like the ones at this location. I still had to follow up with my doctor due to my hair spray finger hurting so badly. I appreciate the service so very much. We all need to have love and compassion for one another. You will get this for sure with these beautiful people!!! Thank you so much. I love you guys.Natalie NicholsBad Realtor with Good Jokes!!!
Was told there was three people ahead of me... and waited two hours, for a five minute visit. This is unacceptable and simply doesnt make sense. Apparently you now need an appointment to be seen in a reasonable amount of time at urgent care.. so know that, they shouldnt take walk ins if you have to wait so long or at least tell people a realistic time frame so they can do something productive while they wait a ridiculous amount of time. I also found it ridiculous that there were three people at the front desk, just sitting there, they make you walk yourself to your room and I had to listen to the staff talk about steak and oatmeal while I waited more time in my room... very unprofessional. If it wasnt an immediate need and a Saturday I would never have waited this long. So not able recommend this place, much better options out there.
Ive been a Beaumont patient for several years but this is the first time I have ever had to go to Beaumont Urgent Care by Wellstreet. I was very satisfied with the medical and radiology services provided to me by the staff at this facility. The doctors and the medical staff were very personable, polite and professional. They treated me with the utmost courtesy and respect. They were very patient with me waiting for my Radiology Test Results even though it would be past closing time. I would definitely recommend using this facility if ever a need arises.
All the gals that work there from the front desk to the ones in back are an amazing group. They are friendly, caring, cheerful, understanding and go out of their way to be helpful. They never fail to make you feel welcome and are willing to go the extra mile to do whatever is necessary to meet your needs! I always leave there feeling 100% better!
Honestly great experience. Staff was nice and super helpful. I didnt catch the girls name who helped me at the front desk but she was awesome. Wish I could remember her name. Only downside to my visit was I was under the impression it was a rapid test and they told me once I was in the room to be tested I wouldnt receive my results till the next day. For me its not a huge deal but for someone else it could be.
Appreciate that we were able to schedule an early morning appt on the same day! My husband was in so much unexplained pain and needed answers. When we got there, staff was ready to see us in 3-minutes ( maybe because we did our pre-check before our arrival) and got his stats and determined that he needed a MRI, and recommended an Beaumont affiliate to have it done. I appreciate there attention to details and caring for him, very professional and knowledgeable team as well. I would definitely recommend!!Thank you so much!
I was able to schedule an appointment online which as very convenient. I asked a follow up question online and they responded right away. When we arrived they were professional and timely. They were able do an Xray and give results and diagnosis quicky. They even booked an follow up appointment with a referring doctor. I didnt have the same experience with the referring physical therapist they recommend.I was please with the kindness of the staff.
The staff was very friendly. The lady that did my covid test put on gloves dropped one of the swabs on the ground picked it up, threw it in the trash and came right over to swab me. She should have at least changed her gloves, but should have sanitized or washed them before she put on the gloves. Plus it was really strange how they handled my test results. They should have been available 2 hours later like my sons were, but I actually had to call up there 24 hours later. The girl on the phone told me I was negative but they had trouble loading it on the website, which was really strange because my sons was loaded onto the same website just fine.
This urgent care has great staff! Every time I go we are treated with respect and care. I recommend this urgent care to everyone! This last visit they found My daughter issue quickly and knew she needed hospital and made it quick and painless transition to get her where she needed to be and get her appendix removed.
We arrived near the end of the business day for a PCR Covid test. Although the staff had a very busy day, they were pleasant and thorough. They went out of their way to get my husband and I seen, tested and out the door. Thanks to a great team. We appreciate your professionalism and flexibility.
I had sore throat so I went to the ER in case it was Covid, I got right in, no waiting at 7:30am Nurse gave me test for Covid, it was the half hour test. Took at least 15 minutes for doctor to come in to talk to me, by that time I only had 12 minutes left to wait. Doctor came in and confirmed I had Covid, he gave me all my instructions and I left. All in all it was fast and easy.
Made an appointment for a covid test for travel, not sick, no symptoms, used this facility because they promised 2 hours results on PCR. Took almost 2 hours to get test and then they wanted to do an exam and charge for urgent care visit. Told us we couldnt leave until seen by a provider, after swabs were taken. Nothing on line to indicate it was more than a PCR covid test. Finally after expressing my displeasure a nice young man named Andrew let us go with no further delay. I would never go back there, they were extremly slow and no reguard for appointment time. I will say that we did have our results in 2 hours.
I dont want to say it was bad, its just I felt the PA didnt even come near me to look at what my concern for coming in was about. She didnt get close enough to see what my face looked like. I didnt expect her to touch anything, but she did have gloves on. I have an appointment with my family car physician so I can have blood work done. I didnt understand why she couldnt write a script for me to go have blood work done right then. Now Im waiting until Tuesday because of the holiday and in the mean time, my face is getting worse and Im breaking out on my chin, neck and around my ear. The medicine she prescribed doesnt seem to be doing anything.Id say I am 50% worse now than what I was when I came in. Its spreading more than I think it should be. Ill find out when I see my doctor Tuesday.I should have gone to St.John ER like I planned on but I dont drive and I was told that Urgent Care was good enough to look at it and give me an idea of what it is. Now Im told to stay home and away from anyone in case its contagious. This is all I have to say. Im not mad or anything, I just think I could have had more done to keep it from spreading like it is.
As a disabled veteran who has free VA medical care but PTSD involving doctors and hospitals I found the care at the urgent care to be 11/10 not only was the desk staff helpful and kind but my doctor and nurses were all the best! I was worried about slight chest pain and we did an EKG and lung x-rays to put my mind at ease. I will be using this urgent care facility from now on.
The staff was very courteous, professional, kind, and patient to work with. Thank you everyone for your help and for all the you do! The only issue I have is that they aren’t allowed to put signage out stating that they don’t have tests available for that day so the nurses at the counter had to field every single person that came in and had to turn them away; their time and energy are being wasted and pulled from their job having to deal with this. Please let them put up signage to let the public know there are no more tests avail for that day.
Im pretty sure even a toddler without any schooling couldve examined me better. Doctor does NOT care about anything or your problems you present. Most likely looks up symptoms on Google. Wasted over 2 hrs of my time just to be told to use Flonase when I have tonsil stones and a very bad cough. No medicine, no advice. Absolutely nothing. All the doctor could tell me was “ its either covid or a virus”. Nice!!! Even I couldve guessed that & even thought that before going in :) thanks though! Front desk staff, horrible. Why is this place called “urgent care”? More like “last resort”. Go to your family doctor or even the ER before coming here.
3 stars only because the check in process went smoothly, the front desk was pleasant, although, they need to remember they can be heard by the waiting room and should not talk about any patients or phone calls. The MA was very nice and did a great job.Was VERY disappointed in the nurse practioner (Ankur), felt he did not listen at all. No xray taken, and was told if not better, go to a foot doctor. Will not return to a Beaumont UC, even though I am a Beaumont patient.
Girls at the check in counter were very rude. Not pleasant when greating customers and very loudly voiced their unpleasantries about their jobs amongst themselves while guests were in the waiting room. The doctor was in with me for all of :45 seconds. Listened to my chest and told me to take Tylenol. Absolute waste of time.
My daughter went in over the weekend and was given the wrong dosage for an antibiotic. When she was still in pain they refused to see her without paying for another visit. I took her to another doctor and found out the dosage was completely wrong and her infection was still there. That is basic medicine and completely uncalled for!
I feel like I was misdiagnosed. The PA tested me for the flu and Covid, but my symptoms are more like I have an URI. I have a history of sinus infections and wasn’t given anything for the possibility, especially since both test they ran were NEGATIVE. I told them I thought I had an URI. I even told them I had shortness of breath now my chest feels totally congested. The facility was nice but I didn’t get any resolution for my visit.
I had a upper respiratory infection, and the doctor came in and said I didn’t have a bunch of different infections, but didn’t tell me I had a upper respiratory infection until I said I usually get them ever year, then he decided to just give me fluticasone, a nose spray for medication… I needed antibiotics, not a nose spray. And then I went to another doctors office that gave me what I needed. Only reason for 2 star was because they open at 7
They were behind so the doctor rushed with me, maybe was in the room for 3 minutes. Told me to take Advil and ice my elbow, and when I told them I’ve been doing that and it wasn’t working- to which I was told “eh give it a week to kick in” mind you I couldn’t move my elbow. Went to my primary Monday morning and was told I have something totally different than what the urgent doctor diagnosed me with! Doing exercises with my elbow like the urgent care said would have torn my tendon even more!!!! So mad!
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. My family and I have been going there for years. Yesterday my daughter went, after normal hours, because she had been exposed to influenza and was showing all the signs. They swabbed her. She was positive. They never listened to her chest or prescribed Tami flu to help her. Her cough was absolutely horrible. She was miserable. She was told Tami flu was for children or the elderly. It is not! Why am I sending anyone in my family there when I had to follow up w her primary and get a prescription? It’s so frustrating.
First thing Sunday morning I visit the Beaumont Urgent Care facility on Hall road in Macomb. From the first moment interacting with Antonice(so kind) to being triaged by Rhonda(so reassuring and caring) the experience was surreal. Scripted would probably be a better descriptive as everything including their over the top pleasantness, was out of this world. The doctor was concise, informative and patient. Pleasantries on the way out, including the taller blonde receptionist were sincere and kind. May I remind you this is first thing on a Sunday morning! What an absolutely tremendous group and Im not citing everyone as I wish I could.
What a great team. Cassie, lee, Christine, lori, julez, Andrew all worked on me. I felt bad how many tests they had to do on me and wasting almost 2 hrs of their time, which I patiently waited w/o Harassing the employees bc it’s an UC n not a primary care facility! But I got sick/fast w a high fever, and need to be cleared to work. A great team! Love them all.
Went in on the first for a rapid testI knew I had it wanted to make sureNurses and drs were greatAnswered all my questionsAnd even put in an order for me to getThe antibodies since I amHigh risk got then via a private companySince Henry Ford infusion center sucksStill waiting on a call even after drs called them as well as hospital and no call yetHad it not been for the antibodies givenWithin 24 hours I do not know where I wouldBe right now
The lobby offers no privacy of your conversations as to why you are in need of medical assistance. Everyone seated in the lobby can hear your conversation with the check in folks. We have HIPA laws but apparently no one thought about lobbies. It’s awkward and uncomfortable.
Doctor talked to me for 20-30 sec before saying he was discharging me and walked outta the room. Didn’t address any of my concerns. I have a growth behind my tonsil that is extremely visible to see and he tries to tell me he can’t see anything and go somewhere else. So rude. Couldn’t believe my visit actually went the way it did. Will never be back here.
The first time I showed up for congestion symptoms the lady at the counter told me they were only taking emergent patients because it was a half hour before closing. I understood and came back a few days later many hours before closing. Not a single person in the entire waiting room and she told me they have such a “high volume” of patients (clearly) they are only taking emergent patients. I understand the magnitude of the pandemic….but clearly they refuse to take anyone who isn’t basically dying because there is never a single person in the waiting room. Every time I walk in there its basically tea time with the receptionists! I wish I was paid to talk to my friends and turn away patients all day.
Thank you Cassie Djelia, CC, Tiffany Lindie for the efficient signing in process and keeping me updated !! I didn’t mind waiting at all the 30 min to get seen, and of course Nick and Andrew the providers for such an easy visit Very thorough best I have had with Beaumont urgent care! I went to Taylor last time and I’ll never go there again… Its so nice to know that they listen to everyone of my concerns and addressed them all! So nice!
Avery was very accommodating as she realized I needed a rapid test results. I have been to this site twice in the last couple of weeks. Even though they have to be tired from the constant pace of patients in the office, they all do a great job!!!!On todays visit besides Avery, Cassie and Leah were in the reception area. Rhonda and Christine were the clinical team. Thanks again for a great job during trying times.
This Covid pandemic has been life changing to say the least. The rules and government mandates change daily. I needed a coved test prior to traveling. Beaumont Urgent Care on Hall Road was one of the few places I could get the test and results in the same day. Oh yes I should add, without an appointment. The wait was pretty long but so many people came for the test. The staff were professional and caring. I would recommend BUC, Macon, when someone has a medical emergency.
UPDATE: I sent an email (same day) in response to the owners message. No response...go figure. Owner is ignoring emails just like the front desk is ignoring and denying patients.Just drop Urgent Care from your name and change it to Beaumont COVID-19 Testing Center by WellStreet - Macomb to stop your false advertising. I took my wife here to see the doctor for possible strep throat. We’re COVID-19 vaccinated so we don’t need to be tested. Upon arriving in the parking lot at 0710, we saw MANY people in line. Around 0712, many people were leaving so I asked a lady who I parked next to what was going on. Apparently, this place was giving out their daily quotas for COVID-19 tests which happened to be 20 according to what I was told. This lady was in line at 0630. We walk into this place and was immediately asked in a condescending tone, Why are you here today?. I stated the reason and were denied being seen by the doctor because they were booked for the rest of the day. Mind you, at this point it was 0722 and they close at 1600. (Why would you ask why we are here today if you’re “already booked” for the day? This tells me that you’re picking and choosing so gets to see the doctor.) The 20 COVID-19 testing quota or appointments is basically taking up their operating time (0700-1600). That is nine hours of COVID-19 testing for 20 people. Apparently, the doctor’s time is used up for the entire day for the 20 COVID-19 tests. So, if youre sick or you have a child who is sick and needs to see a doctor, dont bother coming here. Ive had positive thoughts of this place for a long time. Something happened once they got taken over by WellStreet and hired this unprofessional receptionist. Sad to say that well never be coming back here anymore because of today which was the last straw. This isn’t the first time either, my child was almost denied from seeing the doctor the last time we were here until we made a big fuss about it and the doctor came out to the waiting room and allowed us to be seen. The same receptionist was there with her same unprofessional attitude. Unfortunately, Google does not allow 1/2 of a star because thats what you deserve. Moreover, because of your rude receptionist, you deserve a negative star.Tl;dr1. Get there super early if you want to have or schedule a COVID-19 test.2. If youre in line past 20 people for a COVID-19 test, you wont get an appointment.3. If you or your child wants to see the doctor for anything other than a COVID-19 test, good luck. Youre better off going somewhere else.4. Receptionist (brunette) is rude and unprofessional.
I was basically just checked for Covid. I was told I just had a cold and was sent on my way. I explained the symptoms I had and I was not examined for where I was feeling extreme pain in my ears and throat. I was told to get over the counter Zyrtec, Flonase & throat lozenges. I didn’t have any nasal congestion or sinus issues so that was not the right diagnosis. I went to see my personal doctor the next day and I was diagnosed with a double ear infection. I was put on proper medication and am already feeling better. I will never go back to that urgent care again. They did the same thing to my daughter a few days earlier with the same symptoms. I took her to my doctor with me and she had a double ear infection as well. She had to live with the pain for a few more days. She is feeling much better already too. Again, terrible experience at this urgent care and will never go back nor recommend them to anyone. They were only worried about giving a Covid test and then getting you out. Just awful.
This is one of the worst Beaumont urgent care. To had called about 20-30 times & no one picks up. Lack of professionalism. Then I arrive here early morning and the lady at the front desk tells me they stopped taking patients to get covid testing. “They stopped” its 10:20am. How could you stop taking patients. Anyways the very worst. Save yourself a trip.
Receptionist is literally the worst person for that job.Walked in before 6; told her we were showing covid symptoms and if we could please get checked. She said no we’ve reached capacity and not taking anymore tests (FAIR ENOUGH) totally understandable, so I replied “can you just have someone check my toddlers cough.”“Well no we’re not taking anyone else in.” The waiting room was completely empty!! I actually assumed they were closed because no one was there. What is the harm of just seeing one f’ing toddler!!?? People who just don’t want to do their job and who just want to go home early should not work at all. Unbelievable. Just quit, simple! You can’t help when your child needs to be checked!
I have never been to a better urgent care then the Beaumont Urgent Care in Macomb. I wanted to thank Avery, Yasmine, Leah, Rhonda, CC, Alexis, and Dr Shehata. Everyone was very helpful, respectful, and efficient. I have not been to any other urgent care and felt the same way. Thank you again!
I came in on Wednesday 12/29/21 there were 2 young ladies one had her feet prop up playing on her phone, the other one was turning everyone away saying the clinic had reach its capacity for the day (now I do believe these were people wanting Covid test). When it was my turn I was there to have my knee looked at due to I was experiencing extreme pain. Let me mention it was 5:15, I was told they were only seeing Covid patients and that they had reach their capacity. My question is has Covid took over what about people that really need to be seen and can’t go to emergency? I thought that’s what urgent care was for. Let me also add the waiting room was empty. I don’t understand
I was in desperate need for care late at night and no urgent care was taking walk ins and I pulled into this clinic less than 10 mins before closing and they still took me and got me tested! Thank you so much for taking care of me ; everyone was pleasant even though they were probably hating me for coming so late!
Arrived at Beaumont Urgent Care by WellStreet 6:45am fir COVID-19 test. Waited in line to sign in and was advised that we will be called had to wait in car. We did so and fully supportive of it. However we never received a call on my cell number that I provided them. I even showed them I never got a missed call as I looked into my call record. Sometimes things happen but what made it frustrating is that they would not acknowledge a mistake and move us up in the line. I realize it’s stressful and I’m very supportive of our medical facilities and the works but when a mistake is made please don’t let the patient deal with the consequence. Accommodate the patient as it was not their error and move them up in the line. Thank you!!!
**Update: After speaking with the office manager about the doctor and my experience, she said she would wave the charges. Just received the bill today. Nope, couldn’t even do that right. **Prior to registering, asked if they would be able to provide services needed for my symptoms. After a brief consult with the physician they said yes, waited 3 hours to find out no they could not provide services needed. Doctor actually asked me what I expected him to do for me. Nurse was rude and unprofessional and the doctor even worse. Not worth my time or money.
The front desk staff is super rude. Im a nurse and work with the public regularly and no amount of rough day excuses their attitude. I would probably not come back because of that. The actual doctor and other staff in the back were very nice and helpful. It didnt seem very clean, there was like what looked like vomit in the sink the exam room I saw when my child was washing her hands at the sink and that was really disturbing. The front desk girls probably wouldnt need a sign instructing clients to be kind to them if they werent exceptionally hostile from the start.
The staff there was great and very professional. The PA I seen was very knowledgeable and listened to me throughly. The wait was over an hour but that can only be expected in times were living in. Second Beaumont urgent care I been to this year and would recommend them both.
Upon arriving and signing in they said it was going to be a 2 hr wait and we were to hangout in our cars until our room is ready and they will call us. Honestly anyone with kids would agree this option is amazing especially for a long period of time he just watched a movie while we waited. We were actually called after 1 hr of waiting and headed to our room. Everyone was very nice but there was a few issues. First the large pulse ox placed on my sons small finger was ready in the 80s, I told the assistant its not ready right due to the size but she ignored me and told my son to take his mask off and take deep breaths it still read low so I suggested she grab a different machine because hes not even sick or having trouble breathing we went for an ear infection. She came back with a different machine and magically worked. Dr came in a few minutes after checked his ears and agreed ear infection needs antibiotics. I am a nurse and have to say I could not believe staff NEVER washed their hands or used hand sanitizer prior ever in our presence. Did not clean hands before or even after touching my child. As busy as they are and how many covid and rsv cases they really need to improve hand hygiene.
By far the most horrible experience I have ever had at a medical office. I needed a Covid test to return to work today and when I went at 7:30 am I was told I needed to come back later. Went back after 9:00 am and was refused testing because the front desk girl stated the manager told them they would not being doing anymore Covid tests today. The girl at the front desk told me I didn’t hear her properly when I left the first time because I was mumbling. NEVER going to any Beaumont affiliated facility again and making sure none of my family and friends do. It’s a shame people in healthcare do not actually want to help. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I’m not one to write reviews but my experience today was just not ok. Also good luck trying to get a hold of anyone on the phone.
Beaumont overall is just terrible. I went to this urgent care in Jan of 2021 and was rushed right out the door. 11 months later, they sent my account to a collections agency for failure to pay a bill – a bill they never bothered to send to me. Tried to call billing and after 3 days of being on hold for 2+ hours, I finally got through to someone. I was basically told it sucks to be me and I have to pay the collections bill. This will be my last visit with Beaumont Health. You can never get through on the phone to make appointments and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.
I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, the front desk ladies were nice and understanding- especially Leah. She treated me like I was family, and she cared about what I was going through. This is what needs to happen at every facility. I had an amazing experience and will definitely come back to the Macomb location.
3:45 hour wait, had to stay in the parking lot if you didn’t want to lose your spot. They would not allow you in the waiting room and told the wait would be 3 hours however no one checked in with me to tell me it would be longer, had to go back in after my 3 hours and ask and the clerk at the desk told me it may be another hour and a half. Asked if I could go grab something to eat or drink as I had no food all day or hydration, and told when we call if you don’t respond in 5 minutes your spot is lost! I get they were short staffedHowever they should have given meA time slot and we’ll call you when to arrive instead so I could go home insteadOf sitting a parking lot, sick for 3 hours and 45 minutes. Bad front desk service, provider was good however! Everyone I ran into was pist off on such BAD front desk service!
I was in Urgent care today. Illiterate staff working there dont know when antibody test can be retreived. One person said 10 minutes another 3 days and one behind counter said 1 hour. Even doctor was confused when results will be back. God forbid your life is on line and these people have to treat you... I ll rather die home than these mf to treat me. Or go anywhere else besides Beaumont.
My sister and I visited Beaumont urgent care on Tilch/Hall Road Saturday for covid testing. I commend the entire team for moving things along in an orderly manner. The ladies at the front desk were so patient and kind no matter what they encountered. Thank you Cassie, Yasmine and Antonice. Well done ladies!!
This urgent care has been our go-to for the kids and ourselves for the last 7 years outside of the regular primary care and pediatrician checkups. We really couldnt be happier with them. Sometimes they are a little busy, but it seems that its because they are so good at what they do and people know it. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, and the Doctors and NPs are professional, caring, informative, and seem incredibly sincere. I would highly recommend this location for anything that doesnt quite warrant a trip and long wait in a full hospital ER. Top notch!
Very poor service on part of this urgent care. I called the office 25 mins before arrival, around 5:25PM and asked very clearly what the hours of operation were and the wait time for a covid test. The girl that answered the phone told me that so long as I’m in and registered before 6:30 that they would have no problem taking me in. I arrived to the facility at 5:55 and get told that they are longer taking in patients for covid testing for the evening-contradicting what I was told over the phone. I expressed to the team lead there what the conversation I had with the staff member entailed prior to arrival and that I didn’t appreciate being told one thing over the phone and then being turned away 25 mins before arrival. The staff was very reluctant to even allow me to speak to the manager. It wasn’t until I said the words “team lead” that they knew I understood the Hierarchy of the management there and brought out the team lead for me to speak to. Despite that, the staff did not care, for a client facing role, they were very rude and unsympathetic towards my situation. I asked for the person above the team lead to contact me.
I woke up Tuesday feeling perfectly fine and within 2 hours was feeling terrific pain I couldnt explain. I was so uncomfortable I couldnt even spell my last name correctly. I had my husband take me to the urgent care because I was almost positive it was a UTI. The front desk staff were very kind and patient with me and the doctor was quick and sympathetic towards me. I was not myself and was struggling to respond because of how I comfortable I was but they took great care of me, got me medicine that helped almost immediately and I was on my way within an hour. Im very grateful this location is close to my house if I need it again!
I visited this location twice over the last six months for a COVID test due to being traced as a close contact and needing work clearance. The front desk staff are welcoming and nice, nurses have been quick to get me from the waiting room and do the initial exam with ease, testing was quick and painless, and both visits ended with doctor follow-ups giving guidance, suggestions, and willingness to answer any questions. Definitely keeping this location in mind for all future visits when Im not able to get in to see my PCP.
I brought my 90 year old mother in for throat and sinus issues. I was told it would be an hour wait. There were at least 8+ people already there. I thought, oh boy, will probably be longer. Mom got at thorough exam and I think it less than an hour. Everyone was very kind and friendly. This has been our family’s go to urgent care for many years. Keep up the good work! We appreciate it!
I was Incredibly disappointed in the empathy and care shown by all individuals at this office, including the front desk staff, the PA, and the nurse who I spoke to after my positive covid test results.Rather than being treated like a human being who has been incredibly sick for many days, I was treated like a statistic so that they could log a positive test result.I, myself, manage a team of customer service representatives for work and absolutely think that this team at Beaumont could use a reminder that although we are just 1 in a thousand patients for them... to us, it’d be the right thing to do to be treated with a little compassion and an ounce of kindness.
My experience was great. Paul Schwartz PA-C was attending and took a genuine interest in my health. He spent time with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. I had a 12:00 pm appointment and didn’t have to wait longer than 15 minutes to see a health care provider
The nurses and doctors were excellent. They did a through job and answered all my questions. My test results came back in less than 24 hours. That was awesome! The part that really upset me was no one answered the phone when I called to make an appointment. So I showed up at the office at 9:30 asking if I could get in for an appointment. The receptionist handed me a piece of paper that said to return at 12:40. I as very happy with that. When I returned at my scheduled time she told me it could but up to a 3 hour wait!!!! I was flabbergasted! She said the the 12:40 appointment was just a placeholder. Why couldn’t she tell me this earlier? I was working from home and didn’t have 3 hours to sit and wait. She said they would call me and I would have 5 minutes to come back to the building, if I didn’t make it I would lose my spot. So I ended waiting and it took 2 hours! I was very disappointed how the system works!
Quick registration, test results fast. Triage nurse and PA were great. Got prescription for antibiotic and instructions for discharge all done in less than half hour. I was very pleased with everything. I am an RN, just retired from Ascension. My physician has privileges at both corporations, just wanted to see how Beaumont does. I hope I won’t need to go to the hospital or urgent care again, but if I do have to, I will definitely come to Beaumont.
The waiting time was really good. We were taken in quickly. The Dr seemed very nice, but unfortunately he wasn’t much help. He did a quick exam and wrote a prescription to help with her nausea but told us to contact her gastrointestinal Dr. to find out anything else. Getting an appointment with him can take weeks. That didn’t do anything to help with the pain.
Just left. Front desk staff was helpful. Appreciative they let you wait in your car. Doctor was very unthorough however. Did nothing to diagnose my primary concern (sinus infection). Looked in my mouth for all but one second. Didn’t look in nose at all. Sent in a steroid without doing anything to properly diagnose. Refused to write antibiotic for infection I get almost every October (and see an ENT for and have actually had a surgical procedure for chronic nasopharyngitis but they aren’t on call at all) Got Covid test, which is always nice to rule out. All in all very unimpressed however by the lack of thoroughness by urgent care Dr. Raafat Shehata. Expressed my concerns and he could have cared less.
My service here was prompt and professional. Brought my son in, who was having severe stomach pain. They ran some tests - and then referred us to go to the ER. Good thing we did; he had an appendix that was getting ready to burst. So thankful for their care and expertise - they probably saved his life. I dont really think or know much about doctors and the practice of medicine - so its great to know that there are people out there who take their jobs seriously, know their stuff, and do their utmost for the benefit of others. We are grateful.
Waited 3 hours for an appointment. Told no Covid tests available. After waiting 3 hours was Covid tested despite being told they were all out of them. Doctor said she would call antibiotics for sinus infection and never did. Called next day for help because antibiotics still not called in and no one would answer or return my call.
Unprofessional front desk staff. Spoke with Megan and she was not clear at all about the appointment. I made an appointment for 5pm and to only come in and was told that I was to wait an hour and a half because they were backed up. What was the point of me making an appointment I could of just sat and waited starting at noon when I called rather than going in at 5 pm and leaving at 7:15pm. Was very unsatisfied with all of the service and especially the wait time after being inconvenienced to come in at noon and make an appointment and then come back at 5pm. Staff needs to be more clear when giving information and instructions on appointments.
Unfortunately I had to go to urgent care yesterday, but this place was great. I went early in the morning and it wasn’t busy. The girls at the check in desk were very nice and helpful. I maybe waited 5 minutes in the waiting room. I got called back to my room by one of the nurses or medical assistants (didn’t catch her job title) and was treated right away. I saw one of the PAs and he was super nice and had a great bedside manner. I was in/out for my cough in maybe a 1/2 hour total. Although my complaint wasn’t too serious, I did come down with bronchitis again and I’m glad I went and got treated. Thank you to everyone who I encountered during my visit. You all were great! Would definitely come back again if needed. A++.
We made an online appointment the night before for a Covid rapid test. I was informed after my 2nd call waiting in my car for over an hour, that it wasn’t an “appointment”, but a “save my spot”. My email clearly stated “appointment”. An hour and a half sitting in my car for a 2 min swab with a child is absolutely ridiculous. While there were people coming in with “injuries”, no one is coming to urgent care in a dying state and you could have gotten us in and out snd our results by the time wr were actually seen. Reserving my spot or even making an appointment was useless and I should have just come at 7am. No one really apologized, but rather said we weren’t a priority. So, thank you for making my Covid test not a priority and making us feel like we were bothering you coming in for a test. I’d definitely recommend NOT making an online. “Appointment”, as it means nothing.
I have been here before and never had such a bad experience. The MA’s bedside manner was terrible - and she kept telling me how she was the tech’s boss - who was much kinder. My daughter, who had a injured ankle, was left in the X-ray room for 15 minutes without a chair. She had to get her own chair despite being on crutches. They had to look in a book to determine the position her foot needed to be in to perform an X-ray. On top of that, they made an appointment for a doctor for the next day and the appointment was made for a injured wrist. I don’t ever write reviews, but this was such a bad experience. I will say that the doctor and male tech were nice. I appreciated the technician’s concerns.
Ive been promised a return phone from a Dr. Since Wednesday. 3 phone calls later and Ive yet to receive a call. Its now Saturday October 2nd.I just need to make sure I have the correct medication after my culture came back.On a different visit in June,, I was prescribed the wrong medication, denied to get a different antibiotic from whomever answered the phone. My UTI quickly turned into a kidney infection which resulted in a visit to Henry Ford ER.
I went in to get a rapid covid test done around 10:30am.. I was told they were done for the day, they wouldn’t even do a standard test. and the receptionist( who was also coughing) was very dismissive in the way that she said it and didn’t even refer me to a place that was still doing them. This is not the first time I’ve been told they “stopped” doing testing. I’ve had this problem back in March. their Shelby township location forced me to pay out of pocket even though I had insurance saying “it wasn’t appearing in the system” even though my insurance is and always has been active. I still have not received my refund from them and that was also in March. Beaumont needs to do better.
This is probably the worst Urgent Care I have ever been to! The front desk staff person had her mask down eating chips, the MA came in asked what was going on I explained to her - she asked if I would like a COVID test, took my vitals. The “doctor” came in asked how long I have had symptoms- listened to my lungs and walked out, 10 minutes later they said you are ok to leave- Never giving me my results or telling me I would get them tomorrow or anything!! I’m sure they are going to charge my insurance company for absolutely nothing and now I’m going to have to see my doctor and pay again!! I won’t ever go back there again!! 😡
This was the worst experience I have ever had. Ladies at the desk were very rude. Waited 2 hours to be seen and I was having a hard time breathing (asthma) and the doctors said they had no equipment to do a chest xray or blood work and told me to go to Hospital emergency. The doctor was not helpful and not a very nice person. I will never go back there again. Terrible place
This is the only urgent care my family uses! They are absolutely fabulous, quick, good bed side manners. They explained everything to me so I could understand and what needs done etc. Shows concern and I do not feel rushed. The only place I did not sit hours to get help! Thank you so much to the front and back team for always being so nice and helpful !!
Took my son there because he was sick. The nurse was not caring at all and being sick you need to feel safe. The doctor had no idea of any questions I asked and my poor son had to do the covid test twice because of lack of information. I think the staff was more worried about if they were ordering Panera or subs then what was going on with patients. I have always liked this place but after today Im done.
Check-in was prompt, initial Nurse that came in to evaluate our Daughter was fantastic, so was the Doctor who examined and diagnosed my Daughter. 4.9 because we had used the online appointment check-in, but still had to wait for over a 1.5 hrs before being seen. In todays times, we all need to be patient, but would recommend some way to manage check-in vs walk-in appointments better.
Iwent to this facility for a minor injury. It was quiet so I was in and out quickly. The nurse practitioner listened and addressed my concerns. I didnt think much could be done but he prescribed a medication that lessened my issue by the next day. I was happy with this visit
I was seen for a severe migraine a week ago everyone was amazing from the start of my visit. Jessica checked me in and immediately realized the amount of pain I was in, she quickly checked me in and had staff bring me back right away. They put me in a dark room and the Tech was in to do vitals quickly. Shortly after the Doctor was in and was very thorough and took his time not to miss anything with my past history. I was treated and discharged feeling 1000 times better. All the Staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Today I had to bring my daughter in. Jessica and Megan were welcoming and friendly while checking us in. Once again check in process was quick and we were roomed quickly. Doctor Paul was great with my daughter calming her and treating her quickly. Once again a great experience. Would highly recommend them and will back for any future care needed for after hours
I did the rapid test and it came back negative but the doctor thought he would do a more detailed one and I would get the results the next day. That one tested positive and now I’m in the hospital Because I am a transplant patient so the fact that he did that I feel like I got great care. I am disappointed to hear that they are no longer doing Covid test at the Beaumont urgent care on Tiltch . Husband was in need of a test and he just doesn’t know where to go anymore a lot of the urgent cares I guess are cutting back on doing that. But thanks for the good care for me
From the time that I arrived, I was given immediate attention by the staff and Dr. Shehata. My dislocated finger was quickly diagnosed, xrayed, numbed and set. A hand doctor appointment was made for me for the next day for further exam. The staff was very professional, friendly and caring and did all they could to ease the concerns that I had.Thank you for all of your help.
Everyone was very professional and nice here. I was happy to be able to see the nurse and the nurse practioner Ankur Patel. Getting an exam and having them take my blood pressure, oxygen levels and listen to my lungs and not just getting tested made me feel well taken care of since I only had a telehealth apt with my doctors office. I think the staff here is very nice and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care and would definitely return again if I needed to.
Everyone was very nice but wait was to long. Not sure I would go back. There was only one person waiting ahead of me and I still waited almost an hour! Their follow up was great as were the nurses and Doctors. So only reason I marked down to 4 was the wait time. (And I had an appt)
The testing and the timing of the results were good. However I did not understand the reasoning behind having to see a Doctor and go through other test which made a 5 - 10 min testing into nearly 30 mins plus the potential of a wait time of 2 to 3 hrs for walk ins. Most people as I understand it are only going for the tests for reasons other than feeling ill. This would reduce dramatically the wait time.
My wife had to being me in because my health has been deteriorating after my 2nd covid shot. May or May not be related but all of my problems started the day after the shot.Anyways, we came in and the staff at the front desk was kind enough to being me a bottle of water. That was a nice gesture and I needed the wtaer...even if I didnt admit it right away. Then our doctor came in and he Instantly look ownership of the issue and made me and my wife feel like our concerns were valid. His level of empathy is rare in the medical field. His name is doctor Schwarz. Aside from being kind and compassionate, he was clearly intelligent and knew his stuff. Im really glad the other urgent care was closed at the time because we randomly picked this one and it was worth the risk.
Went in for severe hip pain that tingled down my leg. Only 1 person in the lobby when I arrived. Took them back so I figured I would be next. Couple more people came in as I was waiting. They ended up being taken back before me even though I had already been there. Finally get taken back. Vitals taken. Some NP comes in doestnt offer xrays, doesnt do any kind of exam, other than listen to my heart. Says she is sending in a steroid prescription. Told her I have extreme trouble taking them says well just try it. Walked out saying I wS free to go. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MY INSURANCE!! Will never recommend this place for anyone!!!EDIT....8-14-2021So apparently the owner only feels the need to reply to the good reviews. And not any others. Also everyone should be aware and go to your health chart. False information was put on mine. Stating all the stuff they did. WHICH THEY NEVER DID!!
I called this urgent care in the morning, and requested an appointment for a covid test. The lady on the phone said you dont need an appointment, just come into the urgent care. So I drive an hour to get to the urgent care only to be turned away because because you have to make an appointment. I was told the status changes. Well then dont allow people to just walk in at all make everybody make an appointment.
The check in process was easy. I used the save my place in line feature a day before, and it just inserted me into the current queue of whomever was already at the urgent care.I went in for Covid testing just to see where I was at with it, and because I planned to visit some elderly relatives. Once I got back to the exam space, I was greeted by a seemingly unhappy nurse (or tech?), who gruffly asked me questions about my reason for the visit, and seemed quite unsatisfied by my answers. She took my blood pressure, pulseox level and did a brief question intake of my other bodily stats. The doctor (who was quite pleasant) then came in to verify what tests I wanted (PCR and antibody), and explain to me what the results would indicate. I confirmed and he sent in another tech (nurse?) to take the blood sample and do the nasal swab. This nurse was all about business, and did not even acknowledge that I was speaking when I said something to her. HOWEVER, I was very impressed by how easily she was able to draw blood from me. Its usually an ordeal.I will say that this experience was not terrible, and everyone seemed to do the technical portions of their jobs well, but the bedside manner of some may need improvement. Since I have no idea what type of early morning they all had, I will keep my offended feelings to myself and have grace with these front-line workers. I was a patient who was feeling well, but I sure hope they dont treat more severe cases as unfriendly as they treated me.
I will never go to another urgent care ever. The front office staff are friendly and understanding. The doctors actually seem to care about you and take time to talk to you. I love that they have an x-ray machine and someone available to read the results They are great at the job they do. They truly go above and beyond what I would expect from an urgent care.
Went in for a COVID test and front desk staff was surprisingly unpleasant and dismissive. Eating, drinking, whispering behind the glass while telling those in line that they’ll “be right with” us. Then, when they finally asked what we needed, told us that there’s a 3.5 hour wait for a COVID test and that we’d have to wait in the office if we wanted it. No explanation and no reasoning given for the long wait and why we couldn’t leave and come back or even wait in our cars! Frustrating.
I arrived requesting a wrist xray after a fall, at 20 weeks pregnant. I gave all this info when registering. I waited almost 2 hours to be called into a room, committed to seeing a provider by taking vitals, etc, only to finally be told they would not perform an xray on my wrist due to the pregnancy, even if I signed a waiver. What a waste of 2 hours and what Im sure will be a less than pleasant bill for a literal waste of time. I left with a referral to the ER.
I have been to this Urgent Care on two separate occasions. All of the staff from receptionist to doctors are fantastic people who risk their health on a daily basis. I was amazed by how fast I was seen and heading out the door. This Urgent Care came highly recommended and I am glad I found this place.
It’s easy to forget how busy people are these days especially in their professional lives. Healthcare workers, in particular, have been forced to carry the burden of an over-worked populace that sometimes needs reminding of this burden.I want to give a shout out to Megan, Wendy, CC, Lisa, Andrew, Dina, and Dorothy for all of the help and (especially) patience they bring every day. Thanks for all of the long hours and 110% you give!
I was in a room with doctor about 15 min after I walked in. They understood right away was going on with me, called my husband and ambulance and I was on my way to ER to get help. I am very appreciative of their professionalism and knowledge, 3 days in a hospital and now I am feeling much better.
I am starting to really hate going here! Just because it is close to me does not mean I have the patience to deal with the front desk staff. Two separate pieces of paper need to be filled out, does not listen or pay attention to what is said to them. I don’t want to pick on age but come on, this is ridiculous. I had already emailed their managers privately in the past to address some concerns. Their back staff is gold but their front staff should go find another job.
I was so angry that I missed my turn in line twice because I didn’t know I was supposed to get a phone call when a room was ready for me, I had my phone on silent to be courteous and didn’t know I would get a phone call that it was my turn and I’m sitting there in the waiting room. They should have made it clear that I will get a phone call I had no idea
Although I got good care I was sent to emergency room st hospital where I spent five hours, numerous tests and sent home with no results, told to contact my doctor Mon morning. I called the office early am to say had been to urgent care, hospital for tests told to call my FR for follow to only be told I couldn’t even see the dr till the next day. So here I sit with swollen sore feet, painful to walk no help and no answers and unable to even see the dr. At this point I am frustrated for sure
Worst urgent care I’ve ever been to, if I was able to put no stars I would I would say that the staff for nice however my appointment was at 1:40 I waited until 6 PM and I was told that there still people ahead of me. I was skipped and not checked in properly which delayed my appointment even more so I had to cancel my appointment. I told the staff that was waiting since 1:40 and i was told “Sounds about right” my only issue is if you know that you have a small facility or you cannot handle as much patient then you cannot keep taking pt for covid testing
This post is for my wife Kathleen. From the moment she stepped into the office, the care, kindness and efficiency of the entire staff was so pleasant and amazing. They gave us a disk to see her shoulder, we could open the jpgs but the image files we couldnt open. Awesome staff. Kathleen Bragg
I went to take a COVID PCR test on May 24. Although the test result report was not received before 11pm that day, it was finally received at 11:24pm.The evaluation of the service is: fast, accurate and reliable. Thanks to the staff at front desk for their patience and tolerance for a foreigner who is not good at communicating in English.Thank you!
Pcr test for travel. Turned away. Told to go to another site as they stop testing 1 hour earlier than the time they state they are open. Drove 30 minutes and again turned away told to do a virtual and then wait for appointments. So re-visted the first site on hall ave. 7am in the morning. The receptionist started the virtual... I just laughed it says walk-in same day results. The test took all of 2 seconds. The nurse who was checking pulse, blood pressure asked for height and weight wrote this down wrong and then a PA introduced himself after waiting 20 minute produced the paper the nurse had wrong details on and told to sign. We went for a PCR test required by the airlines. Both fully vaccinated. No covid symptoms and always protect our selves. Now waiting for the bill for the nurse which could have been self administered, the PA and the Lab... Its just a money grab. Do the test and get people on there way . Stop making a fuss and a dance about it all.

2022-01-19I went for a Covid test. The people at the front desk were very efficient and friendly. They scheduled my appointment and when I returned I was told it would be about an hour wait and they told me were to wait. In about 10 minutes I was called back to get my test. The nurse who took my blood pressure and temperature was very upbeat and friendly. The PA came in and he explained the test and told me how to take care of myself if the test came back positive and explained what to do if I had breathing issues. The nurse who did the test was did a good job. I would definitely recommend this urgent care facility.

2022-05-31I was in this Urgent Care on Saturday of the holiday weekend. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was seen by the medical staff almost as soon as I had filled out the registration information. I received what I needed for my condition....antibiotics....however the Dr. said I would feel much better in 24-48 hours and not be contagious at that point. I really didnt believe it would happen that quick, and it didnt, but other than that I was very happy with the service I receive. I will say that we went back with my husband on Monday (holiday) and his interaction with the doctor was completely different than I experienced. Overall, I was pleased with the service, the staff and the time it took to get seen.

2022-01-26This was my first visit to Beaumont Macomb Urgent Care. I needed a COVID Test prior to my travel. The women at the front desk were so welcoming. Very personable and made me feel very comfortable. They assured me my test would be available within my time frame which eased worries. This short visit was made much more pleasant by office staff medical assistant and the doctor who also peeked in. Well done.

2022-05-23Office staff was nice and informative. Waited much longer than expected. Made an appointment for 11:00am and wasnt back into a room until after 12:00. Would have been the same wait even if we wouldnt have made an appointment. MA and DR were fine. Did a good assessment (for an ankle sprain). Provided the information we needed for follow-up care. On par with other urgent care offices in the area.

2022-01-28I have had nothing but positive experiences from this urgent care. They are always as quick as possible given the Covid situation. They are always kind and caring and never in a rush. They are timely and don’t keep you waiting in the patient room very long. Thank you everyone for doing such a great job!

2022-02-11Nurse that took care of me was very friendly and personable, the wait time during my visit was very short from waiting room to being seen. Got an x-ray and I have a sprain. Was an overall positive and comforting experience although they did not fill the prescription to the pharmacy I had initially given. Wish I had noticed on the paperwork before I left.

2022-05-02Such an amazing experience from the moment I arrived. I love that you can make an appointment and so I was seen promptly. The doctor was able to treat me and I walked out feeling so much better. Not to mention I was in and out in less than 45 mins, which is nearly impossible for an urgent care on a Sunday! High recommend. Will be my new go to urgent care.

2022-05-16Specially this location is the WORST I have experienced - not once but twice I have been there for a COVID test with an appointment. Both receptionists were very self absorbed, short and not respectful in their communications. They did not even show any empathy to people who were waiting there for hours nor were they respectful in their answers. There were three people in front of me who were disgusted with the treatment they received from the receptionists that they cancelled their appointments and left. One lady had an appointment at 10:30 and she was still waiting 2-1/2 hours later. I finally cancelled my appointment and left. May be they are short of right people but this is no way to treat the people who come there for emergency needs. The first people who you see are the receptionists and they must be caring, smile on their faces and show empathy. These people are no where close to this. I wont be going over there anymore nor would I recommend this place for anyone.
