My order for an extension ladder was cancelled by BB&B without my consent! I got an email from them that the item was on back order and I can either cancel or wait, which I chose to wait but they went ahead and cancel it without notification. When I called, they told me it could be because the vendor stopped manufacturing it but I know for a fact that is not the case. I had no useful help, and when I asked to be transferred to leadership, I was on hold and it the line dropped. I think this was REALLY about the 20% coupon I used, which BB&B later realized they shouldn’t of allowed the use of the coupon because I was getting too good of a deal, and shipping expenses for my zip code for an item this size is not worth it. Disgusting.
This store carries so many items! And good prices. I had purchased 4 curtains in two different colors and ended up returning 2. At my original purchase the cashier rang up 3 st one color and one at the other color, instead of 2 of each color. When I went to return, the computer said I had only purchased one of that color. It was fixed quickly by the manager and I got my refund. Easy!
Not great, cashier was rude and frustrated when my membership 20% wasnt applied and I requested the amount refunded from my bill. I was told was it a big hassle for my 20% discount-and all angry for processing the discount-but they didnt mind selling the membership to me-it wasnt a hassle then-no like shopping there but wasnt impressed with the attitude
I enjoy visiting this store sometimes to look around at their collections. Recently I updated one of my bathrooms with all their accessories and bath mats and shower curtains. The prices can be reasonably high at times too. But the quality of products is definitely unbeatable. I will reccomend this store.
Lovely young man helped me get the last Braun hand held blender, 70.00 dollars. It was on the very top shelf, he had to use the tallest ladder. Didnt get his name, butt I thanked him for his help and time. He was blonde and very tall! The store was tidy and looked good. The lady that checked me out was helpful with all my coupons, and was polite also.
The store is very organized and clean at all time. Great selection on beauty and cosmetics,there are tons of products there I cant really get in any other stores. The reason I am not giving 5* is because of a rude employee..BBB has a 365 days return policy so I decided to return something just before that time frame. The young woman was upset,I told her if I cant return it ,it was ok and she just started laughing and telling her co-worker that she is returning this after a year,she decided she doesnt like it..after year. ..laugh laugh That was awkward....
Has competitive pricing...some items may be more costly, but some lower, & they have coupons sent postal mail, email, & on their site. Paper coupons are accepted beyond due date. The staff is always making sure youre taken care of.Big advantage to buying from brick & mortar stores, besides seeing in person what youre getting, is the ease of returns & exchanges. Also, employs more people (to handle brick & mortar operations) therefore supports the employment rate.
Very plain and simple I like all the product lines of Bed Bath & Beyond. And I had a warm welcome once I enter the store. All the staffs are very friendly and very helpful, simply love the store. Parking lot is huge and all time parking is available anytime. I love Bed Bath & Beyonds store coupons those drive me to buy more.
It was a good place to get kitchen and bath items. I bought curtains for my family room there. Unfortunately the Covid lockdown put the last nail in their coffin. The Wall Street Journal says they are all closing. This is just one of the brands that are going away. Many more will follow, unfortunately.
Buyer Beware: Bed Bath and Beyond does not honor their warranties and they have no conception of customer service.My husband and I bought a Dyson in January of this year with a 5 year warranty. We have our receipt in hand which shows all of this information, but because there was a glitch in their system with the serial number, they are absolutely refusing to warranty a $700 vacuum.They acknowledge we bought a vacuum from them. They acknowledge we paid for it. They acknowledge its under warranty. But they will not warranty this vacuum, because its supposedly not the same vacuum. This is not a customer issue, its a logistic one, but they do not care.Even after speaking with a district manager, BB&B left us with an unusable 7 month old $700 vacuum. We will never shop here again.
We were there looking for a comforter, they have a large selection but nothing that I was interested in for a teenage boys room. The prices are high and overall is just not a place that I enjoy shopping at. Almost everything they sell you can find on Amazon for cheaper. I understand we want to keep our brick and mortar stores but a place like this just takes up space.
I tried to exchange a weighted blanket received as a gift. (With receipt) Went to service counter they didnt know if they had any left. Supervisor was standing there and Instead of showing me where they would be she sent me on a wild goose chase thru the store. I didnt find what I was looking for ..i tried to have it put back on the card used. They only wanted to give store credit. Why would I want to buy something from your store where there is no one to help with questions. May I add they were very shorted staffed and 3 people ahead of me in customer service also were givin a hard time on theyre returns as well. I will no longer shop at their store.
Customer service at this location is embarrassing at best, my fiancee asked the customer service desk about bridal registry and we were instructed to go back to the dishware section to register and someone would help us back there. We spent 20mins wandering around the dishware section where at least 3 different employees with the work ethic of a doormat cautiously avoided any eye contact or human interaction that may cause them to actually have to do their job. We wont be registering here and I wont be spending any further money here. The 2 women at the service desk were very polite and helpful as for the millenials wandering around aimlessly not so much, my suggestion is that management gets in touch with reality and finds some employees willing to work and actually help customers.
Store seems crowded, overpriced and selection is lacking. I would recommend their website instead. Worst of all is the people who shop there, mostly older snobby women. I have no time to deal with people who deliberately block an isle and get an attitude when you say excuse me to them so you can get by.
My fiancé and I went there yesterday to register for our wedding. We waited till the very last minute because we were dreading it so much due to so many people saying how horrible it was. When we walked in the back we both Instantly became overwhelmed with everything but because of Thom the man working is the registry center is made everything become fun and easy. He made up feel like we were top priority even though he was multitasking with multiple couples and people. He was amazing at helping with our needs and our future needs. Thom made the whole experience enjoyable. When he said he would do something he did it and he did everything with a smile on his face he never once made us feel like we a burden no matter how many times we had questions or asked something of him. With his help I do not believe it would have been as fun easy or quick.

2022-04-17Rude, mean, unprofessional employees. Not willing to help solve issues.I went to the Rochestet Hills store to get help with an online order. It was my 1st time using my Beyond Plus membership. On the BB&B website the members cost was posted as $137.59. Yet at checkout they refused to accept my membership and tried to charge me $171.99.When I asked, I believe it was Angela, to help, she immediately became angry and aggressive. I was taken aback at her extreme rudeness and verbal attack. Instead of helping me she said that price was not on the website, even when I showed it to her on my phone. She then claimed my phone was not functioning properly.She allegedly looked it up on her phone and told me the lower price was not listed even as I was showing it to her on my phone. She lied to me.Her treatment of me was totally unacceptable. This rude and aggressive woman does not belong in retail and should be fired.Later, I called the store to get the General Managers name to inform them of the incident. The employee who answered the phone rudely said, What for? She refused to give the 1st name. It seems like every employee there is of the same rude mindset.I agree with some of the other reviews, stay away from this store.

2021-07-11Shelves were well-stocked with a good variety of products to choose from. Felt great about my purchases -- so great that, for the first time in decades of shopping, I left my purse behind! I was almost home when I realized it and got back just after they locked the doors for the evening. Caught the lady I assume is the Manager heading for her car. She unlocked the store and brought it out to me. I wanted to tip her but she declined my offer. I was thankful for her courtesy and ethics; my phone, cash and debit card were all there. Great store with helpful and honest employees. BTW, the store brand bath rugs are fantastic and worth the price -- good quality, very plush and truly non-slip.

2022-03-17I went to the one in Rochester and bought a vaccum. The person that helped me had to go in back to get me the vaccum I wanted,. His name is Thom, polite and helpful.

2022-03-22When on store in line for item it shows the item is have a cheap price when I go to the store they dont have it never had it and they said that it wouldnt cost that cheap anyway so I give that a 1 star actually

2021-12-18Order what you need on amazon its cheaper and better quality and more convenient. Bought an item online, they forgot to pull it and sold out. I called to confirm my order was ready , they said yes ( didnt actually check). I get their the manager asks when I ordered I said last night, the manager then wanted to argue that I lied and it was ordered today (it was 12:15) so yes technically it was today by 15 minute, sorry i described last midnight as last night. Email said it would be ready by 11 am regardless its now 7PM and I called to confirm it was ready and they dont have it is a joke. Manager should be fired, has no people skills or common sense, they must be desperate because of covid. Guess ill go back to buying everything on amazon.

2021-10-10This store is very clean and well organized. The only reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 stars is because of their policy regarding curbside pickup. I wasn’t allowed to pick up the order since it was in my wife’s name. Please change that policy!

2021-07-01Im glad to see the most recent review reflect my bad experience almost exactly. I actually have a store credit from bed bath and beyond in my wallet right now and I could have said something but I was too tired in the middle of errands for headaches from poor service and staff. I went to GLC location and many others in the past and I have been here before where the employees were ok. I recently stopped in with the same issue of a return/exchange as another review for store credit even past 90 days. For whatever reason, I was met with very poor service and attitude stating that this doesnt happen when I literally have store credit in my wallet for the exact same request. Its store credit from something that was also about 8 months past but in good condition. I was so fed up with how unprofessional and classless they were that I dumped all the products in their trash can outside. I visited another location and had great, professional service from staff.Do not go to this location, seriously just put the gas money towards any other location. In fact, order online and do pickup. You can also report the employee and store location. I dont know what they hired recently but hopefully it changes.P.S. BB&B essential oils are foul.

2021-05-03We received a tailgating tent that was on our registry as a gift for our wedding. We had to move our wedding from 2020 to 2021, and opened the bag to a busted tent last weekend. We visited the Rochester Hills location to exchange it, but because the tent was purchased over a year ago, they would not return or exchange it, failing to acknowledge they sold a broken tent to begin with. The store managers were no help, telling me to call the number on the bag and work with the manufacturer. I highly recommend choosing a store with higher quality customer service for your wedding registry.
