Belle Tire in other cities:
Outstanding, great service at Belle Tire store #79 in Brighton, Michigan yesterday. I had 4 new custom wheels and Michelin X Ice snow tires mounted, balanced and installed with tpms sensors on my new Mustang MachE GT Performance SUV while I waited.Mike O’Neil was the technician and Nicholas Julet was the store manager that made sure I left with a smile on my face. The car was kept clean and not a blemish on my wheels or red Brembo calipers. These guys know what Customer Service and Satisfaction mean and I will be back this summer for new tire needs on my Explorer Sport and Fusion. Thank you Nick and Mike!
Our family of all drivers love having Belle Tire as one of our automotive service places. They have always been good on their word. We also like the convenience of using the Dropbox for the keys and leaving the vehicles the night before to get serviced. REcommend HIGHLY.
I like this belle tire because they are really nice. However, I took my car in because the tire indicator light keeps coming on. They said it wasnt the sensor battery...but they couldnt fix/diagnose the problem. So it cost me nothing (which is great) but I still have a faulty indicator light.
With so many choices out there, this large chain is one that has learned all about customer satisfaction is key. Great service and quality work. I dont think anyone out there can promise quick turnaround, but Belle Tire is up front about explaining the issue and timing and price.
Let me tell you about my experience with these guys.I called in to make sure they had the specific tires I wanted in, and when they did not they got on the horn and got my tires on the next truck. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they did not make it in as scheduled, but they were in the next day.I dropped off my car, they got it setup, and when I went to pick up my car I realized they are not open until 8pm every night. With my car locked in the shop, the mechanics that were hanging out after close were great guys and got me a ride back home that night so I could pick it up when I was next available. The guys at the desk are great, and the mechanics are thorough. This is definitely the team I trust with my whip.
I went there with my 2004 Jeep Liberty. They told me I needed a sway bar and a tirod and other things done before they could align it, $400 worth of work. I took it to a real mechanic and they told me it was $50 to fix a loose bolt only. I’ve had very bad experiences with bell tire in Brighton and Howell. The Howell location, They let me leave with a lose bracket on my break caliber and told me it was my drive shaft that was making a clunking noise and I needed a new one. $500. Later that week I barely made it into highway tire parking lot before my car made a awful noise and I lost control. They are horrible at going over issues with your car and I’m never going back.
Love that u tried to rip my wife off by saying we needed struts on my dodge journey when we bought tires. Took it to the dealership because its under warranty. They said they are not leaking like u guys said. Nothing wrong. Thats the kind of stuff that makes me go look at other places for tires next time.
Update....Called ahead to see if they had a specific tire in shop, attendant said they did and could fit me in to replace my pothole destroyed tire. Got there and was told they would needed to order it and could get it installed the next day. Waste of time, gas and energy. On another visit, I called ahead to schedule an APPOINTMENT. When I walked in, one attendant looked directly at me, no greeting, and went right back to looking at the computer. The attendant that handled my business was decent but not really a people person. Moving on to the service....As mentioned, I scheduled an appointment. They finally put my car on the rack ONE HOUR later. I get that things happen, but it was not explained to me that they were running behind/delayed, KNOWING I was waiting. It was a time sensitive day for me and I could have made other arrangements. I only suggest that your clerks stop engaging in personal phone time and personal conversations so they may interact with waiting customers.-------------------------------------------------Older review....Very busy shop. Schedule ahead. Decent service. Love the free air fill station.
Took my car to Belle Tire TWICE.Nothing wrong with my driver side rear tire. There is a rim leak. No one listening to me the two times I brought it in. Perhaps because Im a woman.I dont travel for work anymore.Unless I check my tires twice a week I will end up with a flat tire when I need to use my car. I shouldnt have to put air in my tire twice a week. I should be able to have it fixed.Any recommendations for a place that can do the job right the first time and is NOT Belle Tire?Im DONE with them.Ive spent thousands of dollars there over the last seven or eight years, with two different vehicles.****EDIT***I took my car to Spartan Tire. They were able to sand the rim, and so far so good. Tire hasnt lost air.Ill be getting all new tires this month.BTW, You get an F for customer service with your canned responses to customer complaints.
Update: Changing from 1 to 3 stars. Called the number in the response and left a message. Received a call back from Chuck who investigated the issue right away. Turns out Steven Colwell isnt the manager of the store and the actual manager wasnt informed at all. Chuck resolved the situation the same day, and we received a check to compensate for Belle Tires error a week later. Thank you Chuck - there need to be more people like you in the workforce.Bottom line, dont trust the employees (Steven) word. Go over his head and his superiors will take care of you.Sleazy crooks. Charged my parents $800 for a faulty brake and rotor job on a Honda pilot. After getting the car worked on at Belle Tire, there was a grinding sound any time we pressed on the brakes. Took the car to a Honda dealer where they noticed the front left caliper bracket bolt was missing. Another $100. Called Belle tire to ask for a refund of our original payment and to have them pay Honda for their faulty work. The manager, Steven Colwell, said he could certainly resolve our situation and take care of us. He just needed to file a claim first and hed get back to us. 6 phone calls to Belle tire and a couple months later, still no communication. Stay away, they take advantage of older citizens and do not follow through on their word.
Absolutely the worst auto service Ive ever experienced. Called to have a tire I already purchased from them mounted on the rim and worn tire taken off. Pretty basic for a tire shop. Guy says no problem. Drop the car off and 10 hours later they say Im all set. Show up and they say we cant mount that tire (its brand new, purchased from them) you need two new tires and we patched a rear tire (never asked for that) and gave me a quote for 3k in work that needed to be done. Supposedly. Guy lied just to get me in the shop, lied about the new tire being faulty, and lied about work that needed to be done, and never did what I originally came to do.
Upon arrival i was very pleased with the interaction from staff and how personable and kind they were, however things went south after that.i was handed an invoice for over $2k in suggested repairs(control arm in rear as well as the knuckles that attach to it on only ONE side of the vehicle), and immediately after this took to 2 other shops for a second and third opinion because that’s a lot of money for a minimal amount of repairs.the smooth talking from the guys up front is what got me, i thought he was really trying to help me out and that ended up being total bs.10 minutes into the second shop visit, the owner comes out and tells me that everything they had told me was “wrong” with my car was false. that was also confirmed by the third shop, who showed me and explained to me how all the parts work and how they’re not loose as suggested by belle tire.all i have to do is replace my struts in the back and i’m good to go. if you need any work done forget belle tire and head over to maleks auto repair in ypsi. he’s fair and truly cares about your needs. corporate shops like belle tire just want your money.
I enjoyed my experience at Belle Tire. Eric Fronek made great recommendations and very detailed comparisons for my tires. He really eased my anxiety about making a big purchase for my vehicle. I was able to have my brakes and oil change done at the same time as well. All of the staff is very nice. I didnt mind waiting a couple hours in their lobby either. They have a nice selection of goods in their vending machine and comfy seating.
I have purchased multiple sets of tires over the years for a number of vehicles from this specific location and they always do a great job when other facilities fall short. I explored another company just to make sure they were still the best priced around. They were the best priced around and gave the best customer service, by far. All while having what I wanted available! Keep up the great work guys!
Called up the Brighton location. My front tires are getting low on tread. I had a brand new tire purchased from them, and wanted to have it mounted on the worse of the two until they can be replaced. Guy on the phone says no problem, made an appointment, dropped off car night before. After waiting all day I was informed they would NOT mount the new tire because it had wear on the inside (untrue it is brand new) and I would have to buy two new tires, and gave me a quote for over 3k of stuff they said I needed done.. I was LIED TO just to get my car in then LIED TO AGAIN just to try and sell me tires and more work, not do what I called about and was told would be done. Waste of time and money. Very bad buisness practice.
I did not have to go in for the service that I needed, so I am not doing a review for that service. But, I continually have been having an issue with the air pressure in my tires. Fortunately, Belle Tire has the self-service air pump conveniently located, so that individuals are able to easily inflate their tires, and even digitally to the correct pressure that they have selected! Its a Win-Win!!!
Would never recommend belle tire in Howell or Brighton ever. Came in for a possible puncture in a set of brand new tires I purchased a about 2 months ago before a long road trip, short story is, one tire had a bad leak and needed a new tire, came in and was told the problem tire had a puncture in it and since car is awd I gotta scrap the other 3 almost new tires that are on the car so the tread matches up. Ate the cost of a new set, next day on my trip and notice pressure dropped about 2 hrs into driving, the same problem tire dropped down to 15psi. Kept stopping to fill it. And kept on with the road trip just tried to make the best of it. Came back and went in to see why a brand new tire was leaking. I was told my now brand new tire was punctured. (Was shocked since I was thinking I’d be getting the call about a bent wheel) but I was told by Tim at Brighton belle that he verified it had a puncture. So, once again trusted belle tire, and not even 15 min after leaving the same corner tire was back down to 25 psi after it was just changed 20 min ago with another brand new tire. So sounds like now 2 tire shops have taken an advantage of me. At Howell belle tire, turns out a tech was also lying about me needing a new set of tires originally, also claiming I had a puncture the first time. The crazy thing is too, Brighton belle tire decided to inspect the rest of my vehicle for me and tried getting me to get 1,000$ worth of service done through them when they can’t even fix my tire. How about you worry about one thing at time here. Both crooked shops, couldn’t pay me to bring me car back.
I would really love to give more than three stars but I have had multiple problems with this location over the last 4-5 years.Ive been going to Belle tire ever since I got my license, because I really appreciate that they will check out your car at no cost, and explain everything they are planning on doing to your car, and make sure you approve it first.Ive had some great visits there, and in general the workers are polite and the store is clean. However, over the years, my opinion of Belle tire has been gradually lowering. As other people have mentioned, they do try to upsell you constantly, and the wait times are hilariously long. They also have told me multiple times that certain things were wrong with my car, but when I took it to another shop they said differently.Ive been told that they had no history of me or my car in their system, despite going to them for two years.Ive been turned away for multiple different problems without them even taking a look at my car (after telling them the problem on the phone, and being told to come in so they could look at it).Ive had them fix my car only to realize that it wasnt fixed at all, and in some cases that the problem was worse afterwards.Certain workers also seem to take advantage of younger people/women, or people who may not know much about cars, and will change their attitude based on how you dress or look.My main problem with this location is that every time I call and ask whether or not they can see my car that day, or if I should make an appointment, they tell me to bring it in. Then, when I get there, someone else will tell me they have no time to see my car and that Ill either have to leave it overnight or come back another time. As someone who only has one car, and works more than full time, I dont really have a way to leave my car there, and I dont appreciate being told to bring it in, to then be told when I arrive that they either cant help me or that they dont have time.As another commenter said, if youre going to Belle tire you better know whats wrong with your car or have a lot of money.
Ive been here 3 or 4 times. Staff is nice, waiting area is clean, wait isnt exceptionally long given that Ive never made an appointment. They provide recommendations and certain services for free which is nice. As long as the need isnt urgent, I usually take their recommendations to my mechanic who can provide a better deal. They never shame me for being cost conscious.Thank you!
In September, 2019, as we were leaving for the airport, we had a low tire. We arrived at Belle Tire at 7:05 but the bay was still open. My husband rushed in, and they agreed to look at our tire after the normal hour they close. They found a screw embedded in the tire and fixed it within 15 minutes. And they would not take any money for the repair. Our tire is still fine three months later. We could not have been happier with their service and will be back when when we need new tires.
Luckily, I dont have to come here often. This was only the second time in about 3 years but I came back because last time everyone was courteous and quick and the prices were reasonable. Nice to see that things havent changed even with the extra restrictions due to COVID. You guys do a great job!! Thanks and stay safe!!
These guys are very honest and reliable!! I was told by the dealer that my 2012 Toyota Sequoia needed brakes on all 4 wheels to the tune of $900. I left the dealer and headed for Belle Tire in Brighton MI and Dan the manager showed me that in actuality I was fine!! My back breaks were .6MM and my front were .4MM which showed that I could wait. I told him to replace just the front pads for now and he only charged me 169. for the work!!! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!! Thanks again Dan!!!!
Friendly staff but the quality of work has gone down over the years and the wait times have gone up! Ive had replacement tires put on three different times and had to go back to have the tires balanced all three times with another 2-3 hour wait time. Not worth the hassle or wait. There are plenty of other options in the area.
Any customer service representative I experienced was very polite. They did not do all I asked them to do though. I called them on Monday around noon to try to set up an appointment for that night or the next day. I told them my brake pedal was sticking and one of my brake lights was out. I also said I wanted them to do an engine check, get new tires and check if I needed new brakes. I dropped off the vehicle that night, they called me back in the morning and told me everything wrong with the vehicle. They told me they could get everything done that day. They would be done with it by 5 or 6. They call me around 6:15 and they say its ready for pickup. I pick it up, spend 2000+ and when I got home I realized the brake pedal was still sticking and the brake light was still out.Wouldnt they havent at least noticed that when they were parking my jeep outside their garage? They didnt do half of what I asked them to do and the engine light turned right back on. They were already closed at 6 so I couldnt just go back. I use that vehicle for work 6 days a week. I dont want to take another day of my job off to fix the stuff they forgot to. I think Belle Tire might be too focused on having smiling good looking people in the front of the store than the actual service Im interested in. Can we careless about the smiles and focus on our reliability? I need someone I can count on because my vehicle is my career right now.
Fantastic service! We called at 4:45 on a Saturday (they close at 5) and told Eric, the manager, that we were nearby and had a flat. He said to come on by, he would make sure the tire was taken care of. He had our tire fixed and we were out the door and on the road again by 5:00. NO CHARGE!! We will be back for a set of tires in the near future. Thanks Eric!
Been going to Bell Tire for over 15 years, both in Ypsi and Brighton. I had a slow leak in tire, figure it needs a patch. Went in on MLK day and they were busy. I was told it would be a 4 hour wait or I could make an appointment for the next day. I didnt have time to wait so I made an appointment for 11 AM the next day. Still, with an appointment, it took over an hour and a half to patch a tire. Felt like they were more concerned with selling me an alignment than helping me. Then they charged me $20. Salesman said they had to charge me $20, he had no choice. I get it, those tires were on a brand new car so they werent purchased here but I have bought several sets of tires over the year and chances are when I needed new ones it would have been here as well.
Never go to Belle Tire in Brighton, they are thieves trying to steal or will steal your money! Took my car there to have them check the brakes they put on 2 months earlier in April 2020. They told me brakes were fine but I needed $634.00 in front end work done.Found a guy who is a certified mechanic for a dealership who does work on the side. Took car to him, he put it on his hoist to inspect the front end.Guess what, he said there isnt one thing wrong at all with your front end! This store is literally stealing peopleS hard earned money and worse yet during a Pandemic when so many people have financial hardships!SHAME ON BELLE TIRE BRIGHON YOU BUNCH OF CROOKS!!! ONE STAR TOO MANY!!
After two and a half hours at the side of the road with a full SUV of groceries and yes some frozen food and trying to change a tire by myself and finding that the spare tire bracket was broken so I could never change it on my own. Waiting for two tow trucks (first one epic fail) finally picked up by Magnum towing , so I could have it towed to Belle Tire in Brighton to have it cut off and mount my spare tire. Thank you for Tim up front and G. T. and the fellas in the back that got me taken care of quickly to get me back on the road and make my day better than it had been. I will always take my vehicles to Belle Tire in Brighton!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!
Theft by Belle Tire! A few years back when purchasing replacement wheels and tires from Belle Tire in Brighton, I paid for their Valet Service to store the rims and summer racing tires for a Focus ST. I recently went to Belle Tire to ask them to pull the rims and tires out of storage so that they could be be put back on the Focus ST; they could not locate either the rims or tires. Today I received a call from Belle Tire Brighton informing me that the rims and wheels are gone and that Belle Tire most likely put them up on eBay and sold them. Since the tires were in storage, I never received any written letters, e-mail or phone call from Belle Tire about these rims and tires. So they just decided to steal from me by putting them up on eBay, selling them and then kept the money. Brighton Belle Tire is totally unresponsive to addressing the problem they created. I was told it was a corporate thing! Next stop will be the police department and court system. Criminal business practices and abysmal customer support and service, and no business ethics. Never again will Belle Tire see any of my business.
Bought new tires for my Yukon Xl 2500 and they checked the alignment said everything was good so I get vehicle back and now has a vibration. Took it back they say yep tires are out of balance and the alignment is out. So unfortunately I paid for a alignment that I didn’t need! Get it back steering wheel is not straight and vibration is worse than before. So take it back once again they fix the alignment and yep tires are out of balance once again and it’s all fixed this time. Well I still have a vibration! That I didn’t have before. So to top it off I took a wheel/tire from another vehicle with a slow leak. They fixed it said it was a valve stem and replaced it. They did not put my chrome valve cap back on and when I rolled the tire to put on the vehicle I heard/felt something in tire. Took it to another tire store and they found a new valve stem in there rolling around.Poor service and be careful you don’t get taken advantage of.
I was in Brighton for a wedding and discovered that one tire was low on air. I brought it in, and they patched it for me for free, which is amazing since I am from out of town and wouldnt be going back. The people were great, especially James, and the patch has held up great. I would go there again if I could.
Horrible customer service when it comes to warrenty work. I waited nearly 3 hours to get a tire rotation and nail taken out of 1 tire! Called prior and was told no waiting. I got there in 10 min, it took 2 hours just to get my car into the garage. 4 other people came in after me and left before me. All new tire sales. The on duty Mgr Frank is the worst I have seen. He pays no attention to waiting customers and nothing short of rude! A very poor example he sets!! Will never return!
Always have had a bad experience. Long waiting times and dishonest employees. Always looking to get you for additional charges. Went in there several times for a simple tire issue. Accidently left my spare in the back... Ive had better luck with other tire shops and locations
I have a 2004 grand prix, had a problem with medal grinding issues ironically after fixing my exhaust at 5955 Whitmore Lake Rd, Brighton, MI 48116 for 315 dollars after talking them down... just said I didnt have the money, well let me work out some numbers. 100 less..... okay. Anyways I took it to bell tire, not only did they fix that embarrassing medal sound, rotate my tires, pump air into them, fix my leaks, and put twisties on my tires that were missing them. All free, had food from the place next door to them. Went back and watched starwars in the lobby. I had a 1900 bill of things to fix but they did help me out for free this day. Theyre funny too. Thank you.
Needed a rear brake light bulb installed, which I purchased at Advance auto parts across street and was referred by them, was quoted $38, I asked if they had any discounts and explained about the referral. They replaced both of my rear brake lights and only charged me $11! Great service, quick turnaround, and they went above and beyond! Thanks guys!!!
Probably the WORST experience I have ever had in the automotive business. Brought my vehicle in for a leaky tire, got it back the next day saying it was fixed. Oh were they wrong, I was stuck with a flat tire (SAME TIRE) on I-96 the next day at nine at night. Brought it back in, explained my issue, they claimed to have fixed it but well see. On top of that, I had to wait three hours for them to put one tire back on. Crap service. Horribly disappointed. Would NEVER recommend
Huge Shout-Out to Danny and Mike from the Brighton Store!! We were on the way to high priority response when one of our tires went bad. They were able to get the spare tire off our Suburban (cable issue) and changed the the tire for us - they didnt have to do that we cannot be more grateful for their help! Thank you!!
They pull you in with some freebies like they will take care of a low tire but if you need any service at all, trust, call 2 other places and you will hear others in the industry complain about their sales practices and are likely to get a better price. I needed a tire replaced and they insisted that for insurance reasons, they must replace all four tires because it may throw off the alignment. I told them I was ok with that risk, they said they would not do it then. I called a repair center a couple miles away in such frustration and they actually came out right away to tow my vehicle and fixed my tire all within the hour. I hope that was embarrassing to have a competitor pick up your customers car
I went there because Belle Tire was running a sale on the exact tires I wanted. I purchased a Set of 4 Michelin Defender® LTX® M/S tires for my 2013 Ford Expedition EL 4X4. Sales Staff was VERY friendly and Honest. They Sold me the Tires for 150.00 less than Discount Tire located nearby. They did the work promptly and performed a free alignment check. They advised me that my vehicle did NOT need an Alignment... They seem honest and seem to care about providing Quality Service...
Had a terrible experience with this place a few years ago. Caught red handed abusing my vehicle and said thats how they test it. BS. After continuing to hear horror stories I felt the need to 1 star this place. Only because 0 isnt an option. You need tires? Go to Discount by Costco. You need work done? Go ANYWHERE ELSE.
Tire purchase and alignment service is excellent. Daniel G. and his crew are the best. Travel 27 miles and pass dozens of tire and service facilities and none compare. Threes sets of tires, balancing, inspection and alignment over the years and will continue. Thank you Belle Tire Brighton.
Called for an appointment to rotate my tires. Got in the next day (they could have done it same day, but I couldnt); in and out in about 30 minutes, super-friendly staff, and no charge!! Who does that nowadays?? Hope I dont need new tires soon, but when I do, Ill be calling Belle Tire.
I arrived a little after 8:00am and Dan G. helped me get my work order going.A list of parts and labor soon followed.I own a 15 year old vehicle and am surprised at the price when quoted. In my experience the work was done in a timely manner.Price was good and staff was courteous.Hats off to Dan G. and Crew.
Showed up at 4:30pm on a Saturday with a low tire. The guys THANKFULLY got us in quickly and told us our rim was bent. Explained everything and even showed us the bend. Swapped the tire and had us out within 30 mins. Thank you so much guys and if we can, we’ll definitely come back!
Went to spartan tire (howell) first after I had my suspension done on my truck. They tell me I need a lower ball joint its dangerously bad. Oh really I just had that done? How weird? So I take it to belle tire due to me refusing spartan tire wanting to replace what I just fixed or I could leave. I said nothing to belle tire about said incident. They take my truck back and perform the service. Which did take a long time and nobody informed me they were having a problem with something. Although they didnt mention anything looking dangerously bad and didnt try to take me for my money. Due to their honest service Ill take my business here.
Stay clear of this place!!!! Took my car in for a slight vibration when Im on the expressway in the rear, got a call mid afternoon and they said everything looks good gonna do a tire balance rotation and could use a alignment $89. I said go ahead. Mid afternoon I get a call stating its all set. I get in the and driving down Grand River 35 and steering wheel is now shaking, I take it back guy says no problem leave it here well take it. I WALK BACK TO WORK, now I have to call them to find out the status they all set balance machine was not working well. I get in the car drive down grand river and same problem!!!! I take it back and leave it overnight WALK BACK TO WORK AGAIN!!!! Got a ride home and had to call in the morning they had no clue of who I was SO I WALKED DOWN THERE AGAIN!!! I was told it was the front tire and that they replaced it for whopping $259, standing with jaw dropped because I knew gave approval, I asked if they could do anything with the alignment charge I didnt need he said no but gave me $50 off. Feeling totally taken advantage of and not taken care of I left as I was driving down Grand river I noticed the Tire light on I said #!*@ me. Drove the car down to Highway Tire and found out the sell the same tire for $160!!!!! Should have never gone to Bell Tire and will never see any of my vehicles again!!! Also posting on Facebook and anywhere else I can.
Took my 2013 Nissan GTR in for a slow leak. Didnt fix the slow leak. Put the tire on backwards. Put a dent in the front drivers side wheelwell. When I called all they said was we didnt work on that part of the car and we have cameras over and over. Scum. Dont go here.
Every time we come into this location, we leave with more problems. Multiple times weve had to call back, say they screwed up. Then they magically come up with another issue they couldnt find before (even though the car was parked!) and they try to charge us hundreds more. No thank you. Never had a problem with a bell tire before the Brighton location. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! THEY ROB YOU! Terrible, absolutely terrible. I wouldnt trust them with an oil change.
2+ hours to change 2 tires, I could have done it with a hammer, and 2 pry bars by hand in less than 30 minutes. Poor management skills, and overall service non-existentI forgot to mention the 2300+$ front end job, that was brought back 3 times. Tech forgot to plug in, and secure traction control wire harness, so now it will be a 4th.... avoid the place like the plauge.....oh, did I forget about the wrong control arm, missed twice somehow while 4 alingments, and wheel bearings were changed..... I believe an attorney will be contacting corporate instead of me this time.
We went in to this location to get two new tires put on before winter.I was told it would be about an hour or 2 so I left my car there at 12:00pm and walked back to work about 1/2 mile away. I let them know that my fiancée would be picking our van up and what his name was by 4:30pm. They assured me that would be fine, When my fiancée arrived our car was still not ready, and we waited an additional 45 min. Upset we left as soon as it was finished and drove it home.We stared to hear a knocking and decided to pull over, the Techs never tightened the bolts and we were driving down the highway with our 3 kids! After we tightened the bolts we called and told them what had happened they simply said oh sorry, I tried contacting the supervisor and the corporate office no one returned my phone call until my fiancée went in and had the tires looked at!Then the manager apologized. we could have potentially been in a serious car accident and they could care less! the service is horrible and the people dont care about their customers. we have never had any problems with the New Hudson store! drive the 20 min its worth it!
Manager promised to swap my tires by 800pm....dropped car off at 300pm....went back at 700pm....car still not inside being worked on. 5 guys standing around telling me to come back at 800p that the car would be ready. Went back at 800pm....car still sitting outside. Manager stated that he said they closed at 800pm....that 8pm was the closing time....not that the car would be ready. He wanted me to wait for at least another hour for it.Worst service....never going back. They had horrible attitudes.
HORRIBLE SERVICE! I waited two hours to get a leak in my tire fixed and they actually pulled off the wrong tire after I told them the correct tire that was leaking . They finally tell me they fix the correct tire. I take off, get home and guess what? My tire is completely flat again, they did not fix it. This place is absolutely a joke, I will NEVER go here again, and will make sure everyone I know does not ever go here. Its really sad because I use to go to Belle Tire in Burton, MI (when I lived there) all of the time and loved that place.. I guess different managers/workers really do make a difference. This place is a joke and they are a SCAM!
Do not ever bring your vehicle here. They say they do the work but I literally watched a tech put my wheels on my car without balancing them when i asked for them to be balanced. I also made a apt for 3pm i dropped the car off at 9am so they could have it for the day and here i am 7pm waiting for my car to be finished because they said i didnt have an apt. This is the last time i will ever let this company work on my car
I had a nail in my tire so I went to Brighton Belle Tire to get it repaired. They asked me to drop my car off at 9am and they would have it done within 4 hours. I called them back at 5:30 and they still didnt have it fixed. I got a ride back to Belle and sat their till 6:30. They then asked me to come to the back. I followed them back for them to show me that the nail was about 2 from the sidewall so they said they couldnt fix it but tried to sell me 2 new tires for $450 even though I have plenty of tread left. I also noticed that their lift was on the bottom of my rocker panel instead of the frame. I took my car down the road to HI-Way tire and they had my car fixed and I was back on the road in 1 hr and it cost me $14.
Brought my car to get tires rotated, they are staggered tires that were put on from Belle Tire. They rotated the tires incorrectly, putting front on back and the tires/rims were too large and after they test drove the car it came back smoking under the wheels damaging the struts and rims. The Belle Tire Manager Dan tried to hide the damage and would not allow me to picture the damage and lied about it not being damaged. The assistant manager Nick Julet understood the situation and let me know that they did damage the car and he too would want Belle Tire to fix the damage that they caused. He could not step over Dan his manager that lied to me. If I was only dealing with Nick, the process would have been simple. (I assume Nick would have said, hey we made a mistake but we will fix it and make your car right) This is not what happened instead the manager tried to lie and act like nothing was wrong.I called headquarters and they at first did not want to repair any damage as they believed not damage was caused. It was until Mike Ewers of Belle Tire Howell stepped in and relayed the information to BT HQ that the Brighton store did cause damage.Horrible experience so far. Headquarters has been working with me at first they only took Brighton Managers side, but I then took my car to Howell Belle Tire and they verified that Brighton damaged my car when they were rotating tires.Headquarters of Belle Tire and Brighton Belle Tire were more then just not trusting. They were lying and not telling the truth in order for them to save money to not do the repairs that they caused.I have since been working with Belle Tire for way too long and Chuck at headquarters has been helpful in getting my car back to the shape that it was. This has been going of for too long because Belle Tire wanted to be too cheap and not pay for all factory Mercedes replacement parts. They have been wishy washy and I have been giving them the benefit of working with them. Enough is enough, I want my car back with factory parts, not reconditioned parts by the people that they know.
Got some new rims and tires put on my car told them I would be driving out of state so to make sure everything was good. Got home to find out the brand new wheels were making noises and not installed correctly. Brought it back up for a second time to have them fix the issue because they didnt do it right the first time. Was told to wait two hours to look at it ruined my day
Just had four new tires put on my wifes Jeep yesterday. Today, my wife came out of the grocery store and the back tire was totally flat! Good thing she had a pump in the car and was able to pump the tire enough to take back to Bell Tire. Turns out they forgot to tighten the valve stem.*Update 11/22/17Today while putting winter tires on my wife’s Jeep, I noticed one of the key lug nuts totally stripped out by the guys at Bell tire. Been working on extracting the stripped lug nut for 5hrs now and still haven’t got it.This place is a total joke. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else!Justin
Monroe Struts and Belle Tire selling bad parts. After Belle Tire in Howell put in new Monroe struts twice in 2 years, due to ongoing clunking noises we took the car to Brighton. They put in 2 sets of struts in 2 years with ongoing clunking noises. Ryan at Brighton Belle Tire said there was no noise, had his best guy drive it down the worst road. Then manager Dan said the guy must be a bad tech, because the front and back end were noisy, said he only drove it next door. They kept the car for 3 days, not calling with any updates. They replaced the front struts, and one back strut, said it was 90% quiet now. We drove it home, it was way worse, the front sway bar link now needed replacing, and the front and back end were clunking louder then before. The new strut in the back broke, leaking all over the floor. We took it to Brighton Auto Repair next door. They replaced the sway bar link, and put factory struts and mounts in the front and back. No more noise. Had to have the front end aliened again by another place.
Hands down - the WORST place to take your vehicle, especially if you’re a female! The employees all stood at the window ogling my daughter, instead of doing their job. They had her car for 2 days and didn’t do what was asked of them. Really? Then you have the nerve to over charge her and tack on warranties she didn’t ask for or was told she was being charged for? Absolutely terrible to take advantage of young people that way -shame on you! Worst place ever!
I needed new tires as the ol d ones were riding rough, down to the wear bars, I began to think that it didnt seem to long ago that I had replaced them. Sure enough it had only been 22 months and only 29,000 miles. the tires were continental gold and were supposed to be 60,000 mile tires. So I went back to Belle to get new ones thinking that they would prorate a new set. When I came in, the man said oh they dont make those any more and if I wanted some long lasting tires I should get Michelins, they were rated for 90,000 miles. I said if your not going to back the continental tires why would I spend that much more for the Michelins since you wont back them ether? So I opted for a set of 40k tires and left the car. When I came back to pick it up they rang up over $100 over the price that I was quoted. I said did he prorate the continentals on a set of Michelins? They no, we did some extra work....I said who gave the ok for that? Oh you mean no one called you? If I had ordered a set of tires for my wifes car and dropped her off to pick up her car, she would have just paid the bill and thought that I made all the arrangements and thats what it cost. I have a lost of trust with this company. I then received an email from the manager asking about my experience and told him the story, only to get No reply. So I guess this is exceptable business practice in his eyes. So I would say to anyone reading this that Belle tire wont back their products and may even try to pad their bill. Buyer Beware or at least get a quote in writing and compare the price when you pick up your car.
I Purchased winter tires at the Brighton store and had them remove my OE summer tires and mount the winters on the factory wheels. I stored the summer tires for the season and then went to the Novi location (closer to work) in the spring to have them swap the summers back on. The technician at the Novi store called soon after and said that they would not mount the summer tires because the liners were damaged and they would be unsafe. After further inspection, it appears the tech at the Brighton store gouged chunks out of the inner sidewall of all four tires when they were removed. All 4 tires.VERY grateful to the guys at the Novi location for a) inspecting tires before they’re mounted, b) making the decision to raise a red flag and inform the customer, and c) doing the right thing and replacing the summer tires at no cost to me.Mistakes happen, but this seems like a case of poor training at the Brighton store...
Stopped in to get a patch on my tire and was told it would be $30 dollars to patch it because of the work included to take the wheel off and deal with any debris. Really? Since when is that a thing? Especially strange since others have posted about free tire patching. Went to Discount Tire and got it done for free. Will not come back.
Bought tires and returned six times due to horrible vibrations. On the sixth visit I noticed the egg shaped tired on the balancer. If I didnt see that they would have sent me on my way again. A bad tire is bound to happen at some point which is fine. A tire installation expert that cant spot one, is not acceptable.
I wish I could leave negative StarsThis place is a joke!! dont waste your time or money do yourself a favor and go to Discount TireDropped my truck off there to get an estimate for the CV axel, wheel knuckle, wheel hub, control arms, and a brake job they wanted 3,000 I couldnt afford that and the truck was un-driveable so I had to leave it up there until I could figure something out which I was told was perfectly fine (I had left it up there for two weeks in the meantime while I was calling around trying to find out who I could get to fix it) dan had called me Monday(4/23) and told me that they needed the room and that I needed to get it off of the parking lot by Wednesday (4/25) if I wasnt going to have it fixed there, I told him I work two jobs 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday but that I had Thursday (4/26) morning off so I could come and get it then around 11:00-12 and he said that was fine, thrusday i got there 12:15 only to find out that they had it impounded 5 mins earlery!! So I went to the impound yard ( thats right around the block!!) To be told that I needed to pay $180 to get my UN-DRIVEABLE truck out of thier yard, I had them call belle tire to have them pay it because it should not have been towed on the first place they talked to dan, and dan told them he was only giving me till Wednesday even though he told me Thursday was fine!!!! Ive been a belle tire customer for yrs, Ive gotten all my tries from them and all my suspension work done by them, after this whole ordeal I will not return I will go to discount tire instead!!
I just had the best experience at the Brighton Belle Tire, I somehow lost my wheel locks to get off my wheels and I took it in to the guys at Belle and they got me in right away, fixed the issue and i was back on the road in no time at all. I know that tire places arnt alot of fun to go to because it is always that something went wrong, but Ryan made this a great trip. Thank You
My father and I are really happy and surprised how much one of Brightons Belle Tire employees went out of his way to help me find tires that were better than what I was hoping for. It was Danny ONeil that went out of his way. He was kind and I could tell he knew what he was talking about when it comes to tires. I would definitely recommend using Belle Tire in Brighton. Dont forget to ask for Danny, and Im sure you will meet a guy who puts his heart in what he does. Now, who doesnt like a Great service, from someone who cares! Thanks Danny and Belle Tire for your Outstanding help today. It is greatly appreciated.Amy Feger
While driving to the M.S.U. football game September 14, 2013, I had a flat tire. I needed a new set of tires but had to leave the car and go to the game. I knew the shop would be closed when I returned to pick up my car, so I made some requests of the service person, Chris. ( Lock keys inside car, put jack back in trunk, place golf clubs in trunk). He did everything I asked and had the car waiting for me out front of the store when I returned from the game. I could not have been happier. Thank you Chris and Belle Tire!
Keep in mind, I AM MECHANICALLY INCLINED! Took my car in to get the tires balanced (obviously i dont own a tire balancing machine) when they called me to tell me my car was done they informed me that i had multiple this wrong with my car! They told me i have a broken spring in the rear end, a broken shock in the strut that is leaking fluid and a bad ball joint. When i got home i jacked the car up to check what all they told me is wrong. 1st thing i looked at was the spring in the rear end. SPRING WAS NOT BROKEN AT ALL! No crack or anything! Next i check the strut for the broken shock that was leaking fluid. SHOCK WAS FINE AND NO FLUID LEAKING! next was the ball joint. They claimed it had alot of play in it. NO PLAY IN THE BALL JOINT AT ALL!!!!! THEY LIED ABOUT OVER $1000 WORTH OF WORK THAT I SUPPOSEDLY NEEDED DONE!!!!!! DONT BELIEVE A WORD OF WHAT ANYONE FROM THIS SHOP SAYS! THEY TRY TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY!
On Tuesday, March 12 I called for a quote on tires for my sons car when my son arrived Wednesday I gave the BS story that those tires got sold last night then proceeded to try to sell him more expensive tires also I just got the car back from Mechanic that we know and trust in a lot of work for us and then he proceeded to tell my son he needed a tie rod just checked and replaced my son on his car fixed finally went ahead and had all theWork done I feel he was scammed what started out as a $500 bill was almost $1000

2022-06-21I am writing this review based on two experiences Ive had for simple alignments. Lets just say I would take my bicycle to them.1. The Howell location could not get my 2500HD to align properly. I figured Id try Brighton and they couldnt do it either. Took it to an independent shop and it was perfect.2. Tried giving Belle Tire another chance on my old S10. I noticed the camber was off causing the inside of the tires to wear. I took it to Belle Tire for a free inspection. They showed me that the caster, camber, and toe were all out of spec, BUT also claimed that camber could not be adjusted. This simply isnt true - they just didnt want to do the extra work to adjust the camber and caster properly with shims. However, they still wanted to charge me $95 for a TOE ONLY alignment, which wouldnt address my problem. But of course they wanted to sell me new tires. I usually dont write reviews, but todays experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. It sure seems as though they prey on folks who arent mechanically savvy and just want to make a quick buck however they can. Consumer beware. There are plenty of other reputable, independent shops in the Brighton Area.

2022-06-07Our experience yesterday was great! My husband got a flat tire, I called and talked to Nick, I believe, and he told me their appointments were all booked, but to come in and he would take care of us. Not only were they so helpful when they were already booked up, they also didn’t try to oversell us. I would highly recommend!

2022-07-09We were stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire and flat spare. After calling two other places, I was lucky to talk to Zak at Belle Tire on a Saturday afternoon. He was so patient with a frantic traveler. He recommended a great towing company and the whole problem was resolved quickly and efficiently. Thank you for helping our vacation start smoothly!

Even though they were busy they got her in and found that she had a bent rim and fixed it on the spot so her trip home wasnt ruined! Thank you so much for the great service today Belle Tire!!!!
