Worst customer service I ever experienced from Bob!!! He was rude from the start and hung up on me during our conversation because I was cancelling an appointment. Hanging up and being rude to a customer should be grounds for immediate termination. The issue was that the sales person failed to be clear with the ordering and special order process. Theres an opportunity to train the staff (especially Bob) on customer service and clear communication. I plan to tell everyone that will listen not to do business with this location.
I pulled into the Belle Tire to use the free air machine, and like the 3 gas stations I stopped at prior, it needed service. I noticed what looked to be a repair man working on the machine. I rolled down my window, and asked him if it’d be available any time soon.He must have know I had a long day, he kindly said that he just finished repairing it and offered to fill up my tires for me. I was all set in 5 minutes, this man saved me about 50, with my mechanical skills.I was super thankful to know chivalry still exists!
I Took my car for wheel alignment that was supposed to cost $95. I left the car and went home. A half hour later Ryan calls me and tells me it needed cam bolts in order to do the alignment. When they do the wheel alignment cam bolts have to be loosened and adjusted anyways. So I agreed even though their price of $230 seemed to high.I called a couple shops for a rough estimate and was told by two other shops it would cost me about $140 total. When I went to pickup the car I asked Ryan why are they charging so much and he said 1 hour Labor, and $45 for the two bolts, plus the cost of wheel alignment. Total was $230. When I told him that I wont come there anymore he did not seem to care. They do not care about customers because the place is too busy. BEWARE.
I always have an incredible experience with Belle tire. They are very knowledgeable and very patient, and will take care of you every time. Gary will extremely helpful during our conversation on the phone and with other things that I needed to get done that came up after bringing my vehicle in. He also worked with me on price and got me out the door quickly.
Friendly, helpful, fast. Dealt with 3 guys there and all 3 were awesome. Came in for wheel alignment and asked to check my tires while that was being done. They told me all were still pretty good. They didnt try to sell me new ones when I didnt need it and that tells me they dont take advantage of others. They get pretty busy but using the online appointment request took a lot of waiting off. Will be back for future business.
I gave them two stars because the service is not bad. Just customer service. Never had a problem with what they did to my car. Just the amount of time it takes. They rarely did appointments with me. Just drop it off and wait way too long. There are either really busy. Or dont know how to manage their operation. Tired of complaining. Just wont come back. And if you do complain they dont do anything about it. So dont waste your time. Just move on to the next.
Great place. Have been going here for years but never left a review. Very knowledgeable and good service. Bear with these guys when they have those tire sales. The place gets real busy and these guys do their best to get things done as soon as possible. Will, Bob and Gary are great guys. Keep up the good work
We have dealt with Mike many times at Belle Tire. It is always a great experience. His customer service is outstanding. It is hard to find someone so dedicated to providing such exceptional service. We went in for two flat repairs, and came out with a newer used set of tires. Which was a blessing in disguise as the truck has two short months before the lease is turned in. He communicated the whole way, and everything was done in a timely fashion. I would definitely return and recommend anyone else who’s tire shopping.
This Review Is For The Belle Tire Located On Hall Road In Macomb! Great service, great prices! Did not pressure me to up sell me! Very happy with the service only disappointing thing was they sort of left the tires and wheels pretty messy after spending over $1,100.00 on tires I thought they would clean the soap and stuff off the wheels and tires when they were done. But, still have them five stars because the service was great and they didn’t pressure me to buy more then I came in for!
I had an appointment for 3:30PM to get 4 new tires and I was told it would be around an hour and a half wait. My car hadnt even been touched at 6pm and when I asked an employee for an update on my car he said, Its getting 4 tires. Yea, obviously smarta$$. I asked how much longer and he said an hour. I sat until after 8pm waiting for it. I will never go back to this store.
Its ridiculous to have your free air machine out of service. Left me in a bad spot with a severely under inflated tire could have been , very, very bad. Or I guess I should have asked for service in a bay and waited for that to not be full and be late for work and potentially lose my job. Don’t offer a “service” of a free air pump if you won’t even keep it working.
I had a appointment for four new tires at 8am. It barely took a hour & I was on my way home. I recommend making a appointment unless you can be one of the first few in the door when they open. Listening to other customers when they came in after me the wait time went from a hour to two & half hours fast.
This Belle Tire is always consistent in providing excellent and honest service. Lastnight, I went to fill up my tire and unfortunately, an hour before they closed, my valve stem blew off and the tire deflated in seconds. Brian was able to get me in quickly and have me out the door well before closing time for ansafe ride home. I did not need a new tire at all. Additionally, while I waited, there was an irate customer in the store attacking the staff. Brian handled the situation calmly and professionally even while it continued to escalate. He explained that everyone working in the cars were certified and was able to maintain professionalism as did his co worker, as myself and several customers witnessed this mans poor behavior and then left. Belle Tire, keep doing what you do! I appreciate your excellent service!!
The Belle Tire store on Hall Rd & Hayes checked out my tire for a possible flat or slow leak. Their waiting are was clean and comfortable. Jason said that my tire was fixed and also let me know that my rear brakes need to be repaired. I am so grateful. They were friendly, professional and considerate of me as a customer! Great service!!
Mike, the manager is a highly skilled professional that not only knows his job, but is an expert with customers. its never fun to need repairs, people like Mike make it a pleasant experience that is less expensive and comfortable. I go to Belle before the dealership. They are honest and do great work.Thank you Mike and Belle Tire.
No other place to service my Vehicles. Not only tires but I use this location for my complete service to my vehicles. Nothing but good things to say about all that work at this facility. Also Love the fact that each and everyone there practice good safety measures as they relate to Covid-19. I feel safe and know I will get the best service possible. The guys went above and beyond to fit us in for an inspection toward the end of the day of an “as-is” car purchase from a local dealer when our first inspection appointment at another place fell through. After traveling from Toledo, we were very grateful for the extra effort to help us out! They were personable and thorough with the inspection. Thanks for bringing a positive outcome to a long and tiring day of car shopping for this college kid’s mom😁👍🏻!
I was in the market for 4 new Michelin tires - went to Discount Tire first and negotiated a price for $850 out the door, as I left I drove past Belle Tire to see if they could beat the price since on their building it says ‘lowest price guaranteed’ the sales man says “$858 is the best we can do”. I said “well discount tire quoted me $850” he responds “okay $849... with a snarky attitude” sorry but to save a dollar and deal with you, I’m good!! Go to discount people, what kinda ‘lowest guaranteed price with an attitude’ are they trying to sell. SAVE $1.00 hahaha, writing this review as I sit in discount tire now!
Amazing! Took wifes jeep in for a slow tire leak, they were so nice and accommodating. Fixed a double punch puncture, handed me the keys and said youre all set tire fixed, drive safe. No charge 30 minutes, super friendly. What? Great business customer service, i thought that was a lost art. Well done Belle Tire! Very well done. Ill be back.
My husband brought our youngest sons car in to have his tires switched out for winter. Told them to put the 2 front tires back in the car because they were only a few months old. Go to pick up car and no tires left in car. Guy said oh you wanted them back. Yes I told you that when I brought it in. Got them back. After my son was looking at the receipt we were charged for an alignment protection plan that we didnt ask for. Fast forward brought another sons car in and purchased 2 new tires for the front of his car. Received a call regarding the strut that snapped off. Husband went back up there and was shown. Told them to replace it and put the other one in the trunk and he would return it to the original point of purchase. Husband called said son and asked him to bring the part over so he could take it to point of purchase and low and behold NO PART in the trunk. What do you guys do, clean up these things and resell them to other unknowing customers? Belle Tire seems to not listen therefore we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Bought 2 new tires, very slow leak after 2 weeks. One older, but not old tire was loosing air, they checked and said ran over a screw, fixed it. Tire still leaking just as bad, went to get it looked at, 4 bays were open but was told to come back, they were to busy? Wanted me to leave my car bur couldnt. Everyone told me to go to Discount Tire, wish I would have listened.
I had a great experience today at Belle Tire. I went in for a brake service and oil change they were extremely polite upon my arrival. I arrived at 0800 hrs when they opened my vehicle was repaired by 1130 hrs. This location has been servicing my vehicles since 2004. I have never had anything less than spectacular service.
4th of July Tire Deal or no deal?I called this location on friday July 3rd (the last day of their holiday tire sale) and spoke with Logan. He answered all my questions and set me up with a affordable american made tire within my price range i was willing to spend. He expressed how busy their shop was on friday and we penciled in a 430pm appointment time on the following monday. The assistant manager (jason?) i believe along with lance was present handling the front end of the business when i arrived at the tire shop for my appointment. After i checked in and got them my keys i waited around on site for a little over 2 hours my car had the tires on sittin in the lot again. I asked the assistant manager (black shirt believe name was jason) can i get a status on my car? He said i was looking at another 30 minutes... While waiting i called wear master in utica and was told i can swing in for a simple alignment for $57. My vehicle is a 08 ford crown vic police interceptor i was interested in having alignment checked as michigan roads can be terrible, but after spending that kinda money and being expected to pay another 89.99 for a alignment that sure feels like a sale bait. The 60 dollar gift card Im supposed to receive in the mail for the sale rebate doesnt even completely cover a 89 dollar alignment.. i would have still been dropping more out of pocket money to finish this correctly. Your tire prices maybe competitive but your added fees definitely leave more to be desired. On top of the turn around time for a simple tire swap. There were no issues with my job and I even bring 1 or 2 spare wheels in the trunk just in case they dont like the condition of any of the existing wheels to avoid any hold ups. During my appointment the shop was not completely swamped and i never got overly rude or disrespectful with anyone. I just wasnt impressed at all with how they try and sneak that over priced alignment in there. Had i not been familiar with some of the figures i was faced with i could have easily seen how some one with less knowledge could have easily been baited into spending too much. I refused to wait any longer on a alignment check i was given my keys squared up the bill and left. I have invoices proving i was here when i said i was and upon leaving i cashed out on the remaining tab(tire protection) and i promptly left.
Asked if i could see if i had warranty on my tires still, asked when i bought them, i said i think a year an half I’m not sure. He said all tires have 3 year warranty you’re fine. Called another bell tire to give me the exact day i bought them an turns out my warranty is expired.
I went to two Discount Tire stores for help, my tire wouldnt hold air and I had no one to come get me, they refused to help or do anything untill 8pm and it was 4pm. I seen Belle Tire out of the corner of my eye and went there where they helped me in less than a half hour.
I was very excited about the positive reviews. However when I came home and reviewed my receipt I noticed that I was upsold and up charged for the service I received. I bought 4 new tires, oil change and a realignment. On the website the total for the tires + protection plan I bought did not match the amount paid in the store. The rebate and promotion I was promised did not match the receipt as well. After calling and speaking with a representative I questioned the amount and total I was told umm it was probably the warranty that you bought on the tires. The representative should have been able to break down exactly how much I paid for the entire service given to me not an assumption to why it cost more then the advertised price. I left feeling taken advantage off and overpaying. I am so disappointed I chose this location especially after speaking with certified mechanics.
Went to Hall Road Belle Tire because of horrible customer service at the Van Dyke in Shelby Township facility. Andrew used to work at the Shelby Township facility and I then went to the Hall Road thus after the horrible customer service by Steve. Andrew and manager Mike took good care of me. Mike even went to pick up my tire at the Shelby Township facility and gave me a better deal. Told Mike to complain to the area manager about how I was treated by Steve. Andrew now has moved on but Jason helping me out with my car issues. Seems like all staff there are nice and willing to help and explain things after a bad experience from a dealership lately. Keep being great Belle Tire on Hall Road. I really think corporate needs to see whats going on with the Shelby Township location since Im the 2nd person complaining about them. Thank you
Poor poor customer service. Went in for wheel balancing, they took the order and after 1hr16mins(yes my timer was on) they came to tell me that they have to schedule it for another day. Why made someone wait and take orders if you cannot fullfill? This is poor customer service and they do NOT have any respect for other peoples time.
Great service. Took my truck there for a second opinion after another shop tried telling me I needed 1100 dollars and a few days of work done, took it to these guys and I was in and out in 1 to 2 hours for 350 bucks. Still holding up perfectly. Returned today (after that positive experience) to get tires mounted and balanced for a school project vehicle, they did a perfect job in less than a half hour and didnt even charge me. Awesome crew, friendly staff. Very pleased and will be returning, should any more shop needs come up.
I called EVERYWHERE quoting tires. I mean everywhere. Andrew was very helpful and gave me a quote cheaper than everyone around. They took me in without an appointment, and had me out, with an alignment, in about half an hour. Every single one of the staff I encountered were courteous, and actually had personality. Would highly recommend
Ive spent more time here the last 5 years than I would have preferred but they were always very helpful. I did have an issue where my alignment continued to shake after getting it done but management handled everything well once I reached out about it. Also- they have free air! Which is cool, paying for air just pinches my soul.
Back at it again! Rob went over the top for me today. He was a very good listener and was very patient to help me resolve the issue I had in a timely manner on a really busy day. The gentlemen who checked my car was also very kind and helped another lady without question or attitude. I always know I’m in good hands here.
You cant ask for better services, I promise you!! Ive been here so much for all different things. All the gentleman are friendly and easy going, Mike the manger is awesome!! He has done his very best every time to work with me on price or even just what I should tackle first!! I drive a good 25 mins and pass up the Chesterfield Twp Belle tire after being treated so poorly, this is the place you go if you want to be treated with respect and honesty!! These are the guys!!
Logan made the tire buying experience so simple. Buying tires can be a daunting task not to mention the stress of an unexpected expense. I dug through my recycle trying to find coupons or a deal but couldnt find anything. Made any appointment for the bext day anyhow because I was no doubt, on the verge of a blowout at any moment. Logan greeted me upon my arrival with 7 tires options and even gave me sale prices that didnt go into effect until the following week. He took all the pressure (haha get it? Tire joke) out of tire buying and for that Im super grateful. Thanks Logan and Belle Tire team!!!
You guys continue to be AWESOME! Replaced my squeaky brakes with brand new ones (under lifetime warranty) for MUCH LESS than Discount Tire (next door) would have... FAST! It’s not my experience it was my friend’s.Walked in after working the Midnight Shift in nurses uniform, she was required to wait over 3 hours to have her tires serviced. Not cool.Man in waiting room not wearing a mask, put it on after she notified him that she had been caring for Covid patients all night. Then removed it again when she stepped outside for air.
Fair prices and quick to get the snow tires I wanted in stock. 24 hours. At the last minute I decided to buy new rims for the new snow tires. They didnt have any rims in stock that would fit my truck - F-250. So I had to wait another day for them to be delivered to the store.Overall good service and reasonably priced.
Horrible customer service went in for a windshield chip repair was told it would be relatively quick. Almost 2 hrs passed with no one giving me update that they had several flat tires rolled in so it was going to take way longer. Little communication would of been nice I would of rescheduled instead of wasting 2 hrs of day and nothing getting done.
I have been going to Belle Tire for years and have never had a bad experience. Mike has always taken care of me and he goes above and beyond to make sure I get that great experience. I wish more companies had employees who care for their customers as much as he does. Mike, thank you and you will will always have a loyal customer!
My Husband and I purchased tires from here twice in one week for two separate vehicles. Mind you both times we purchased, they were for a full set of 4 tires each time! The second set of 4 tires we purchased we paid cash for. During the check out process the clerk NEVER went over the return policy. We then find we purchased the wrong set of tires and had to return them quickly as we bought them as a gift for someone. My husband went in to return them and the lady there did not want to help him and directed him to another associate. That associate then helped him after another customer had to speak up and state that my husband was next in line and in fact not her because they tried to see her first. It’s like they were trying to avoid him for some reason....??? He tried to return the tires and rather than getting cash back since we paid with cash, they said they would send him a check in the mail and it would take 30+ days for us to receive it. I’ve been managing for many years now and rule of thumb is cash back for cash transactions and credit back for credit transactions. SINCE WHEN was sending a check an option (unless a persons account is no longer open) and why was it NOT gone over in the check out process!??? I spoke with the Assistant Manager as the General Manager was not in and he claimed it was in black and white. I have my receipt and NO WHERE is it listed on there! I then asked for Corporates number and he gave me a false number as I was unable to reach anyone. I am extremely dissatisfied how this was handled! We were referred to this company but after this incident, we will NOT be returning and will not refer them to others after how poorly this was resolved. I am yet to speak with corporate on how to receive my refund in cash because I do not trust a check to get mailed to my house!
They are NOT up front about anything!! Theyll charge you THOUSANDS of dollars saying they can fix a problem when really they KNOW they CANT!!!! Charged me $1300 total just to NOT fix the problem then tell me they referred me to another place. They never told me to go elsewhere. Instead they had me make an appointment to drop my vehicle off, then today when I go to drop if off Im told to take it to a transmission place. Funny thing is they told me they were testing the transmission prior to any kind of work to ensure it wasnt the transmission.... Had tires and an alignment done to the car also, since they did that the steering wheel is crooked lol!!! I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to this place. Theyll take your money and not fix the problem. Wish someone had warned me prior to bringing my vehicle in to their shop. DO NOT USE THIS BELLE TIRE!!!! Over priced Liars!!
Ive been to the Belle Tire on Hall Road dozens and dozens of times over the years. I have NEVER had a bad experience! Unless it is a service that can only be done at a dealership, I have brought all of my vehicles (probably 20) to these guys. Ive seen a couple of bad reviews, but I cant believe it. Im guessing the customer was a loser and a completely unreasonable pain. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
Im disappointed with the service at the Hall Rd. Store in Macomb, I had one tire with a slow leak and I came in an hour before they closed. They told me they did not have time and that I would need to drop the car off. Too inconvenient to do so for something so minor. I bought the warranty for a reason but they didnt have time. I went to Discount Tire next door and they were more than happy to help me even though I did not buy the tires from them. This is not an isolated incident with this store. They just dont have time. Ive been a customer for many years but the service is making me rethink my choices.
So my experience with this bell tire began when I called on Wednesday 4/10/19 and asked if I could have my wheels balanced and fix a dented steel rim he said it would be no problem and he said “first come first serve” so I arrive the next day on Thursday 10 minutes after they opened he told me they had a few cars in front of me. so I sat for a hour and a half just for them to pull my car in and try to sell me wheel hubs and tie rods which I know they’re labor rate is more than the parts themselves so I refused. They tell me I needed 3 new tires which I thought was funny because I just bought 2 new front tires 2 weeks prior and my car has no alignment issues at all. He then told me I had to buy new tires or he wouldn’t touch my car so I got my car and left the assistant manager Todd Brinker was the sales person and a terrible one. I know a lot about cars and you don’t need brand new tires to balance them, my rear tires had 50% tread left and he tried telling me otherwise This place is clearly out to get any penny they can out you. you go in for a 50$ job and they try telling you 500. this place is either a scam or Todd is a greedy salesman with some credit card debt he’s tryning to pay off through commission.
Needed a brake job. Free inspection, and then they worked with me on price after I called around to get competitive quotes. Communicated effectively and were all around great to work with. My only complaint would be that the customer waiting area wreaks of chemicals...my wife had a headache after only being in there 5 minutes to pick me up.
I bought my wife new Michelin tires month and half ago with all warranties. Well today she said she leaving work with almost no air in tire..She got to bell tire at crooks and 15 mile and they said they cant do nothing today..she pulled up to air hose they didnt even come to put air in tire..So I lost my respect right there not fair should take care of people who bought before putting new on..So I called ryan at hall road and he said cant do nothing we are booked up til Saturday...said wait I bought from you got all your warranties and wives tire is going flat?? thats two stores so its not a isolated incident seems that is there policy ..get new tires on and forget ones we did with warranty..lost customer
Today was my second time going to the Macomb Belle tire location and had awesome service! The first time I had a nail in my tire not knowingly and they were able to patch it right up with minimal wait. Today I went in because a few days ago my tire pressure light came on and I had no idea why. When I walked in they were very helpful and expressed they did not want me to wait long so they wanted one of his employees to check all my tires to see if one was significantly lower than the others... Thankfully that was not the case, It showed that the cold weather caused all my tires to lose a little pressure which made my tire light come on. I was in and out within a 5 minutes and everyone was very helpful! I most definitely recommend this Belle Tire location!!
Went in because my low tire pressure light has been coming on frequently and it is always the same tire that is low. I asked about the free alignment check also and ultimately decided against it because I didnt have the time to wait and told them that. I waited over an hour for one tire to be checked and watched multiple others come and go. Instead of even being able to tell me why my tire pressure is constantly low in one tire, they gave me over $1000 in estimates for things like ball joint repairs (I am aware my car needs other things...) and when I had to redirect the guys attention like a small child to the original reason I came in, he said he didnt know why my tire was leaking. I am definitely never coming back. They treated me like some kind of idiot and completely wasted my time checking everything but my tire and my tire is still leaking. As if after all that, I was just going to say, Oh yeah, let me give you over $1000 in business after you couldnt even check my tire like I asked...
Be careful if youre a woman going here. Sexist guys will try and take advantage of you. Over priced too. I prefer small business anyways but I did get four tires here. The price is just a bit more than discount tire next door. I only went here because they were open later. Definitely wont go here again though. Dont let Todd help you if you do end up here.Also a lot of the positive reviews for this place seem to be from people who only reviewed this place which to me means they are fake accounts. Ive notified Google.
I brought my car there with a tire that had a slow leak they fixed it. It starts leaking again 2 weeks later so I go back. They fix it again saying it was a different spot leaking. I go out to my car to check the work and there is a huge bubble on the side of my tire. I just filled it the day before so I know it wasnt there when I brought it in. I told them they messed up and they told me it was fine to drive on and it was there when I brought it in! I left and had my fiance call to explain to them they needed to replace it. They said to come in and they would fix it. We come in and they say they cant do anything about it! We drove all the way out there expecting a fix they told us they would do just for them to waste our time. If the bubble was on the tire they wouldnt have touched it and said to replace it so it was created by them. The manager said it wasnt dangerous to drive on but I should replace it soon?? A bubble on your tire can literally explode at any time especially with the size it was. They treated me like I didnt know what I was talking about because I am a young woman. I know how to up keep my car. DO NOT GO HERE. They just lost a loyal 6 year customer to something that could have cost them $100 to fix.
They thought all customers has no knowledge. Many people they just drive their cars after service without checking anything because they trust the place.From my experience with them:1- Two or three years ago I took my car for battery issue they told me I need to change the battery. After 3 hours they call and said they cant replace it for free and they want to charge extra $25. I took my car to Walmart and they gave me better battery with free replacement.2- I took the same car for water pump replacement. After 3 hours I got the same issue, the car has some modifications in pipelines and they dont want to miss with it.3- I took my car for tire rotation last time and I felt somthing wrong with the tire. I opened the tire at home I found they forgot to install the hub ring when I went back to them they were very sorry because they didnt have it at stock. Came back in next days to install.4- I took my car today and usaully I know my tires by signing them. I asked two questions before I left the car for tire rotation because I have two tires with little bit low pattern.First question: Do you have hub rings in stock. He said yes.Second question : can you check the tires if you can do rotation or not. He answered we will do for free after he checked in the computer. I repeated the question based on my experience do you need to check? Because I dont want to walk two miles to my home and then you call me to pick up the car without rotation.Result :They call me and said sorry we cant and I need to replace the tires. I told him rotated for this time and I will change them the next 5k mile. After asking two times he said ok we will do.I checked my tires they are not rotated and went inside he told me your car is done. I told him it wasnt.After he checked he said I am sorry I told them to do that but my boss may be did not want to do it.Conclusion: loosing trust with well known name is a hard thing.Action recommended :* Check your coming cars immediately before the customer leave.* Be frank with your customers* Deal with customers as they know everything and dont think you can fool them.
Called to make an appointment but was told its not needed... arranged to have my car dropped off only to be told they had no room in the schedule to work on my vehicle and I could not leave it overnight. Is that not the reason for making appointments?The Goodyear less than 2 miles away provided great service in their place.
I had gone to a competitor and ordered a set of Mickey Thompson performance tires. After being delayed for almost 7 weeks, I decided to give Belle Tire a shot and somehow these guys got me the tires within 24 hours! They scoured the metro Detroit area and found them, and I had them installed the next day. Great service, nice guys. Will be using them from now on.
I took my car in for a new set of tires and a basic oil change. They put on the tires and changed the oil and everything was fine. I woke up and drove the car and the engine felt like it was going to blow up? So I took the car back to belle tire and was pretty upset. They stated that I was overdue for an oil change and one of my cylinders was clogged and the first cylinder wasn’t firing. So at this point I was not happy. But Todd I believe he’s the manger told me that they would do what they could and he called all around to find a particular cleaner and they ran the cleaner through my engine and the cylinder started firing again. They didn’t charge me for any of the cleaner and now my car runs perfect. So thank you to Todd and the lead mechanic who helped me out. I will go back there every time from now on.
Went to have a windshield replace, they did not install correctly, automatic wipers did not work after they where done. Went back a second time to have that fixed and then they broke my rear view mirror off of the windshield, and of course still didnt fix the original screw ups! So now have to go back a third time so they can fix the windshield, mirror and rain sensor! Quality at this store is just terrible now! Use to be good.
I came into Belle tire a few weeks ago and received a quote to get my car fixed for $323. When I came back, I asked if I would still be able to get my car fixed for the same price, they told me that it is now going to cost $450! The man who helped me last time swore he didn’t remember me, until another man stepped in to help, then all of a sudden he remembered me and swore he didn’t quote me at $323, even though he in fact did! He was very rude, and frankly a smart ass. I left and went to sears, who was able to fix my car in a timely manner for $233, $200 CHEAPER than belle tire! I will NEVER do business with belle tire again!
Not sure what is going on at Bell Tire on Hall and Tilch? My husband and I have used them for years but after recent experiences, will never go to them again! Had a clunking sound in front end of my vehicle so took it to them in May. They called and said hey your u joints need to be replaced and your rear shocks are bad. I granted them approval for both. Per Michigan law they were suppose to keep the parts for inspection. I also clearly told the individual who did the paperwork at drop off I wanted the parts that were replaced so I could take them home to my husband. The next day when I went to pick up my car I asked where they put the parts replaced and was told they did NOT keep the parts. So I get my receipt and it spells out why the u joints were replaced but indicates they replaced the shocks just because of mileage not because there was something wrong! Then I get in my car and I hear a new noise so I didn’t even get out of the parking lot! I go back in and I’m livid!! They pull it right back in and have to reinstall again because (this is a good one) they installed it upside down!!! We are now in August and my ABS light is on. I’m in another state and take my vehicle to the auto dealer to see what’s wrong. They just called me and said ‘someone did work on your front end recently and whoever did put the part on wrong so it was pushing some other part (forgot the name of the part) into the tire. That’s why the light was on and that other part has to be replaced because it’s been rubbing’. What a nightmare!!
I had noise coming out of the engine for Acura 2013 Hybrid .The dealer on the phone said it is very bad it might cost big money and I had to wait a week .I called Belle tire ,they said it will cost to check $40 and will see what it the matter ,After I left the car in short time They called me to come and pick up the car ,The noise was coming from loose screw .It was nice surprise for me I drove the since yesterday for hours I do not hear the noise any more and the cost for repair $40 .Belle tire are honest and do good work all the time I went there they never told me we do not fix Hybrid cars they always take my car and do good job.
My visit was absolutely horrible, I came in for an front end alignment. I was told it cost $89 dollars, I asked is this a front or full car alignment the tech said full. I never said that but was being charged for it. Their was additional work he wanted to do I said no just the front end alignment. He stated if you dont get that work done I cant warranty the work,I said then dont t do it. He comes out and say the car is done we did the front end alignment but we cant warranty the work. I preceded to explain I dont throw money away on a job and no warranty. The end result was he told me we dont want your business be you dont do much work with us anyway you get a free alignment. I agreed, took a refund and left the shop. I later get a phone call from the tech apologizing for his behavior. He stated that when he gave me the refund it didnt go through when he charged me so he actually gave me ruffly 70. He asked if I would return the money so that he didnt have to repay it. I believe the only reason for the call and apoligizing was because of the money refund, he could careless about customer service and apoligizing to me. Im going to right public review about this establishment in how they treat customers, this was my last time patronizing that establishment.
*Beware- total scam. I went to have a tire patched for low tire pressure & Todd Brinker at the Belle Tire on Hall Rd said I needed to buy 4 *Brand New* tires because my one tire was irreparable. When I said, No thanks, Ill take my car to the dealership for a second opinion, he changed his story immediately and said Ohh actually there IS a nail in your tire and we can patch it and itll be ready in a half hour!He originally tried to tell me the tire was irreparable because of the way it was installed (and yet for three years since I bought my car brand new I never had an issue until now) and that it was a bead (sp?) and the rubber was pulled back and they couldnt seal it. What this has to do with my tire leaking-I dont know.He also said he couldnt just replace the one bad tire because it would be uneven with the other tires and so I should replace all 4 even though the others were still functional because it would overheat the transmission. I now next to nothing about cars and I feel like he tried to take advantage of me as a young woman bringing in my car by myself. Thankfully, I have an awesome dad and boyfriend who both called BS and Todd was completely transparent in how he quickly changed his story when I declined to buy all new tires from him. I will never go back to Belle Tire again. Youve been warned!
Terrible horrible service rude disrespectful a total joke if a place bought a tire a week ago had a huge bubble on it wont replace or warranty it. Bad move belle tire go to discount instead they warranty their tires and stand behind them no one I know will. Ever go to belle tire if I can help it you have lost my business forever we own several large companies and spend over 50 000 a year in tires .
Complete scammers, they try to charge you for every little thing. I got sick of it so I decided to go to discount tire. What a difference, discount tire has much better customer service, saved me a ton of money, great warranty, and in and out in fifteen minutes. Belle tire needs to learn why their business model is failing. Go to discount tire and see the difference.
Terrible experience! I would have giving zero stars if I could. A few years ago, I had a wheel bearing replaced under warranty. After taking nearly my whole day, I got my car back to only have the wheel nearly fall off two days later! Never went back, until now. So now, years later I find myself living closer to this location. Feeling like a ball joint is easy enough that I could even do, I thought I could trust them to do it. Apparently even the general manager couldnt even write this up right. I specifically told them, driver side at least 3-4 times as to refrain from which left or right. I even showed them the write up on the computer that the last location wrote saying driver side (I even kept the receipt in case they told me they couldnt find it. Picked up my car a couple hours later. When asked if they need to do a 2 or 4 wheel alignment, they said because we only changed parts on the front it only needs a 2 wheel alignment. I asked, then why did you charge me for a 4 wheel alignment? Unfortunate to the salesman who I was talking to, didnt understand why the general manager wrote me up for the 4 wheel alignment, he discounted appropriately.So I left assuming some minor errors. When I got home, I looked underneath finding that they had replaced the passenger side ball joint (wrong side). Even if the passenger side was bad, the part should have been warrantied, from when a more competent location replaced under a year ago. So I returned the next day, spoke to the General manager who of course didnt see that the ball joint was under warranty and refunded the part money. I also commented on the over charged alignment which he just said oops, sorry. While sticking to his claim that the passenger side balljoint was bad, well never know now. So, after discounting half the labor as compensation, we know they at least got me for half the labor, whether the part needed to be replaced or not. It would have been nice for them to ask before doing work... Before leaving, I double checked with the general manager that my driver side ball joint was fine. He said that they wouldnt have moved on to the passenger side if the driver side one was bad. Now I know this is bs, because of three main points. 1) When I did the brakes on my car about a month prior, I saw that the rubber cover that hold the grease in the ball joint was torn, which by all mechanical standards means it needs to be replaced. 2) the other location inspected and agreed that while there was little movement, it was necessary to replace. I have the receipt to that. 3) I also have the receipt for when this current general manager wrote the work up, ordering the mechanics to replace the wrong side!Having enough of being lied to and ripped off, I immediately took my car to the one location that has never done me wrong. They were shocked with my poor experience. They confirmed again that the driver side ball joint was missing its protective boot and needed to be replace, and wondered how the hall road location could have even aligned the car with such a bad part! They replaced the right part and even realigned my car for free! It looks like I found a diamond in the rough. While I have to drive nearly twice the distance, I will gladly to avoid the poor work done by this hall road location.In another note, just try talking to their customer service. They have about as much consideration as the hall road general manager had. Just, oops, sorry... Their CSRs just spend your time praising their poor managers and not only that, but lie for them too. I was staring at my receipts while the CSR told me the manager didnt make those errors. So throw the mechanic who is almost as guilty under the bus... Youll always be asked, let us know if we can do anything... How about we start with not overcharging, doing work you arent even told to do, lie, and maybe if any of these happen, some compensation, beyond oops, sorry
Took it here for an alignment and it was fine, but I needed a tie rod. They said theyd do another alignment for free if I brought it in for the tie rod. They did end up doing that.But, after the new alignment my car was still pulling to the right (harder than before) and my ride was now bumpy. Brought it back to get it fixed, and its still bumpy and pulling to the right. Wasted a whole Saturday trying to get that fixed and its worse than before.Never going back.

I am 72 yrs old with a very low tire at closing time he could of said we are closing but his heart could see my stress he said dont worry we will fix your tire...if businesses had more people like Michael they would be a more loyal customer. I went to this belle tire for quite a lot of service. Needless to say didnt work out so well for me, they try to sell you things that youve already had done from them (like they cant see it on their computer if they bother to check) and dont stand behind their work or sales. Bought tires from them and apparently should have expected uneven wear on two tires (even with regular alignments/rotations/balances). Rather than trying to treat the cause of a noise I brought the car in for they tried to sell me a treatment of the symptoms- turned out the two tires didnt cause the noise it was a wheel bearing (sad how I mentioned I thought it was that and so did they- until I left my car in their hands). They took a couple extra hours with my car and didnt seem concerned until they were informed I wouldnt be returning (guess they figured out how much I had spent with them on regular maintenance). Dont go to this place- dont let your friends/relatives go to this place, and sweet lord in heaven dont let a forgetful parent/grandparent even look in the general direction of this place! I know I wont ever go back....
Terrible experience. i had new tires put on my vehicle and they bent the housing.Do you believe that it took 3 visits at 2 hours each for them to admit what they had done. They kept saying that they didnt hear anything. They were not able to take away the noise and I will never trust these people again. I feel that its all about getting the money and nothing about providing good service or taking care of their mistakes. Nine months later after paying a lot of money for the tires I still have the noise from a bent housing. Some people really shouldnt have a job.
Im from out-of-state and have used jiffy lube for 15 years in ohio, louisiana, and vermont. There are apparently no jiffy lube stores in michigan.I called Belle Tire about an oil change, which they confirmed they would do. I got in quickly with my jeep wrangler, and two human children. Customer service started as excellent. It took a bit longer than I would have expected to get us checked in, but this was my first oil change here.Then we waited...and waited...and waited... my youngest daughter is 3, and there was nothing to entertain her in the waiting room. I made her tea, and gave her several candies, but her attention span was done after 60 minutes. The snacks all cost money, as did the sodas and other soft drinks. Caffeinated coffee (which I wouldnt let her have) was free, as was caffeinated tea. The three-uear-old, my twelve-year old, and I all waited 85-95 minutes. A free alignment check was supposed to happen, but since we were impatient, I had to forego this after the jeep had been there 50 minutes already.With other Michigan oil change places advertising 10-minute oil changes, Belle Tire needs to step up their game. They have lost my business, however, because my familys time is worth more than that.
Absolutely terrible experience; I purchased four brand new tires a year ago and got a flat today. After waiting an hour they told me the tire was not repairable and I needed to buy a new tire. I bought the original set of tires for $69/tire. They refused to give me a new tire at this price and said it would now cost me $150 for a new tire. I ended up having to purchase a lesser tire that was still $105. Had to wait another 30 min. After these tires Im never going back. By far the absolute worst group of people with no regard for the customer. This place should be avoided AT ALL COSTS.
This is the place that I always go to for my tires. I will drive out of my way to come to the Hall road location. I feel that the workers here take me seriously as a woman and are helpful. I have never been pressured into trying to buy unnecessary products or services for my car like other places.
Every time i have visited this location they have slid charges onto my purchase, whether pressure sensors that had to be replaced or different tires for one reason or another. Trying to rip off my daughter was as low as you can go: The conversation was recorded, Kyle.
I buy all my tires here, if you dont well....you just suck. they are great people that are very helpful, unlike you....you selfish jerk. Thats right, laugh at my review. Went to Belle Tire on Hall road to get my front-end alignment checked. Day after Christmas and I had a Red-Box blue ray disc sitting on my passenger seat that I had watched Christmas evening and was going to return after the front end check. Well when I got to the Red-box to return it, it was no longer there! Gone! Called the store and the man I dealt with said he would check. Came back to the phone and said his technician never saw it and doesnt remember seeing it there. He said I could come search the technicians car and toolbox. Obviously if I could search the car and toolbox, someone had it elsewhere. They completely discounted what I was saying and pretty much blew me off! A THIEF WORKS THERE!!!!! I cant believe a business would do that.....
The only reason I gave more than one star is because if you get tires thru them, any tire issues are covered. I have never gotten out of here in under an hr. Today I made an appt to try to get ahead of things, so I was here early for my 4.30 appt. It is not 2 hrs later and my car is JUST NOW getting in the garage. They told me when I made the appt it would only be 1-1.5hrs. I understand busy days, I work in customer service myself, but this is ridiculous. If you make an appt, that should count for something, right??
I went in her last minute to have a battery installed they took care of me at 10 minutes to 5 on a Saturday this is where you wanna go to have any repairs dont tear vehicle Todd is one that help me out to begin with but everyone else there is absolutely friendly this is where you wanna be great service

Very very bad I go for a balance tire and they told me you need allayment to i say my car go strait i no need allayment they told me the Mecanick say you need well i say if hi say you need it ok do it gess what i get out of there my car was pulling right side so bad i go back they told me was e small adjust i say give me the paper what you adjust they say you no need it wi fix it naw is good... my car still the same pull in the right side i am a truck driver and i live for work for weeks wen i com back i will send it again very bad very very bad there
They took forever to get my car in to actually work on it. (There were 3 other garage stations open) They also broke my hubcaps on my car. They told me that they would call to replace them, called me once to tell me that they would have it in a couple days, NO CALL BACK.Didnt take any responsibility for their employees breaking my stuff...hence the crappy review. This place sucks.
Just got 4 tires for a 2005 smaller SUV at the Hall and Tilch store...Mike (the store manager) was very friendly and professional, and explained everything easily for my older mother to understand...it took about 2 hours (typical) and the pricing was slightly lower than local competitors...the two other front desk exployees didnt catch their names so ill call them white hair guy and guaged ears guy lol) were really funny and great with the customers too...and for the pandemic questions, masks are required and worn by all employees in the store, as well as customers.
Assistant manger is great, I believe his name is Todd, white hair... phenomenal service all around after I had the worst experience next door at discount... this is a no brainer.. go to belle tire over discount... I know where I’ll be going for all of my vehicle needs..btw my family business brings all over their vehicle here... great job keep it up!
Dont go here. Girlfriend took her car here just for a tire rotation and they told her the dealership put her tires on backwards and tread is too worn out (after only 1 year) to rotate them. Refused service unless bought new tires. I dont know which thief of an employee it was, but they need to be fired.
I was there for around 3 hours. It’s very busy, but that isn’t their fault. I’m giving them 2 stars because they had to destroy my lug nuts to remove them and only came out to ask me if I wanted to buy new ones AFTER destroying the old ones. I don’t know if they really needed to do this or not, but it would have been nice to give me the option before they were ruined.
Worker was eyewitnessed by 75+ year old retired police officer...he used his car to go out for lunch which was initially denied by salesman and then we were given excuses(basically lied to) by one of the founders of belle tire (Don Barnes president / director )...SCAM ! VERY DISSATISFIED/DISSAPOINTED! BEWARE!
Dissatisfied with the Coustomer service I went in there about a month ago and had some suspension work done on my car had the ac system tested and recharged went to take it back to have it checked for leaks and the guy said sense it was still blowing cold not to worry about it now about a month later I have no air and this could have been avoided had they done there job AMD just checked it like they were supposed to

2022-05-26Recently purchased tires & happy with Michelin quality pricing etc. Fast forward 6 months, got a slow leak from a visible bolt in one tire. Called 3 Belle tires asking for appointment for repair today or tomorrow. Apparently theres a big sale going and everyone is too busy. Your store said probably Monday (this was Wednesday) they would be able to help me when the sale is over. I had to go to a discount tire for the repair. (Quick too- 1hour) . 0 stars

2022-01-11Took my car here to get new tires put on. Took hours longer than they stated. So long in fact that they were far passed closing time so my alignment never got done. On top of that they damaged my rims and then said it was my rims that were the issue when I confronted them about the damage which you could tell was from being dropped face down onto the ground and the rims also were never properly balanced. I had a massive shake when driving, took it to another shop and they had to remove the weight that these guys added to properly balance my rims. Would absolutely never shop here again. Was also charged an extra $50 that was told would be rebated back to me and when I sent them literally everything they asked for, receipt and all, they denied my rebate and kept my money. Absolutely will never again return here if my life depended on it. Had to take my car elsewhere to get the issues fixed that they caused. Cost me an extra $250

2022-03-29I just spent $1200 + for a full set of Michelin Defender truck tires for my F 150. They didn’t even have the courtesy of washing all the tire lube that was spread all over my wheels! I totally understand that lube needs to be used but why can you not even attempt to clean the original wheels. I was always taught, leave it better than you received it. My truck was clean when it arrived to this location. Not a happy person right now!!!

2022-05-04These guys did a great job on replacing the tires on my 1986 Pontiac Fiero. They went through some hoops to make sure that my coated aluminum wheels remain spotless/undisturbed, even by balancing the tires without externally showing wheel weights. Also reasonably priced with no surprises at the end.

2022-01-20The staff at the Hall rd location were excellent and very customer focused. Professional and timely! We discussed a few points of interest including price, type of driving Id be doing and what my expectations were. They provided several options and explained each brand and rating. They also provided a few reccomendations for tire type and they did so in a very short amount time. I am happy with my purchase. These new tires are a fantastic, smooth ride! 2022-03-28Not sure why they offer tire rotation when you buy a set of tires because Ive gone 3 different times now first thing in the morning and have been told to just leave the car and it would be done by the end of the day. Didnt realize rotating tires took 24 hours to do. Better yet how about you let people make appointments for a tire rotation then. You only care about making appointments for people spending the money buying the tires, not the ones trying to maintain the tires they purchased from you!

2022-05-06Had an appointment at 2:00 for a simple safety inspection and my truck didnt get looked at till 5:20! I understand that its easy to run behind at an auto shop but 3 and a half hours is crazy and nobody cared in the slightest. I left without an estimate or even an apology

2022-06-11Each time I have gone to this Belle Tire I have been disappointed. It is expensive, too busy and depending on technician work is great or poor. Tire quality not the best and if you get one bad tire it takes MONTHs to come back enough times to finally get a new tire. Had brakes and rotors pads and calipers on rear and less than a year later was back again for rotors pads caliper adjustment and NOTHING was under warranty except some part of .60 cents? We have taken 3 vehicle here over the past 4 years. Wont be back. Finally found another reliable family run shop that charges fair price (lets face it labor costs are crazy for any of the trades or skilled jobs) and stands 100% behind their work.
