I have to place an order by phone, because I work during store hours and the website is being difficult. Customer service chat online told us to call the store directly. Which would be fine -- except I only get a half an hour lunch and I spent that entire half an hour on hold waiting to talk to somebody.I will try again on my next break, but if I dont get through, I may have to go somewhere that is open hours that work with my schedule. (I dont fault the store for its hours, but a customer shouldnt have to sit on hold in excess of 30 minutes).
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!! They sell brand new computers that are defective. My son purchased a Dell laptop 6 months ago and did not get the warranty. I called customer service and they told me to bring it in and said it would be covered since it was purchased 6 months ago and it be be fixed or replaced free. I spoke with a customer representative who ensured us that it would be fixed. My son went in today to the Dearborn location and they said no you have to pay a minimum of 200 to get it looked at. DO NOT BUY DEFECTIVE LAPTOPS FROM BEST BUY…
If you have an apple product that needs repair DO NOT go to Best Buy, go directly to Apple! I went to Best Buy to get a cracked screen repaired. I have apple care so it was only supposed to be 30 dollars but the guy let me know if I got an error for the face I.d or sound I’d have to get a full unit replacement for 100. So of course they ran a diagnostic and it says my sound is messed up even though I’d been using my phone daily no problem for a few days. I didn’t expect to pay 100 so I left and set another appointment. The appointment I scheduled 3 days in advance Best Buy canceled THE DAY OF by email. Fed up I just made the drive to Apple in Twelve Oaks. Apple ran a diagnostics and every thing came back covered for $30 dollars. I asked about the sound, the man said that the speaker that was messed up was the speaker above my front camera which was being replaced anyway with the display. So the same issue Best Buy tried to charge an extra 70 for was an issue that was going to be repaired either way and was covered under my initial deductible. I don’t want to call them crooks, However if they quote you a price expect to pay more. The funny part is when I told the guy I wasn’t willing to pay $100 he was like yeah Apple is very strict. Clearly not cause I went directly to Apple and got way more help and care
It may be because of the holiday shopping season (November 22nd), but out of the four employees I encountered, only one was attentive, helpful and polite. The other three had dont bother me attitudes. I hadnt shopped at Best Buy in quite some time and it will be quite some time before I go back. The one located in shopping center on Ford Rd and Mercury in Dearborn, MI
STAY AWAY FROM THIS WASTE OF TIME BUSINESS!Went into the Dearborn location to purchase tv mounts and mounting services. Ended up purchasing multiple mounts, a tv, and mounting services for each tv in my house. Set an appointment right then and there in store to have the work done everything paid for. 2 weeks later on the appointment date with the arrival time between 7am - 1pm. I hear nothing from anyone: Not geek squad, not the store, not customer service. I check my receipt to make sure I have the right date, I do. I call in to see what’s going on and they confirm that I do have an appointment scheduled via there automated system.As I get to a customer service rep she says she sees no changes with my order, but they have to reschedule. After I just wasted half of my off day I can’t even get a reason as to why this negligence took place, but they want me to reschedule to hope they show up the next time. I asked when were they planning on telling me they needed to reschedule. You have my # of file, I made the appointment in store, no word of anything. THIS is how they treat their Total Tech members.
I went to best buy to look for some security cameras it took about 15 20 minutes before someone came over to assist me so I left the store without purchasing the security cameras still looking.I dont understand why in the world am i having so much trouble trying to make a appointment to have someone come out to my home and I cameras in the right place so that the sun will hit the solar panel so I dont have to keep on taking the cameras down and putting them back up at this point is defeating the purpose to have the solar panels I called the store five times today people pick it up started talking to me then the phone cuts off they have my number and they never call back what in the world is going on can I please get some help
Joe Rogan dressed up like a goblin was running around the store harassing customers about ivermectin. I asked Joe for a selfie but he kept making strange goblin sounds at me and Im worried it may have been someone other than Joe Rogan. Im not sure but good best buy 5/5 stars.
Hard to get assistance in store. Host at the door over talking me as Im asking for items thats on the website. I was looking at in-store items not online but he kept saying its not in when the web cleanly says its in. Needless to say when someone else came too assist it was in stock. Smh
Called about an iPad screen replacement and was quoted $200. Quote was wrong $300 is the standard price. Bought an upgraded version of the same iPad for $30 more then was sent to three different stores to find it even though the first two said thay had them. Now I have a new iPad plus one with a shattered screen and a day wasted of Best Buy hopping.
Sales person had no clue about the specs of the surface go pro we were purchasing. I was asking if it had a USB outlet and he said he is sure that it DOES have it. There was no display model nor would he agree to open the box and show me! When I pulled the specs online it didnt state that it had the USB outlet I was looking for. So he flat out told me: if you dont trust me then thats OK dont trust me but Im telling you it has a USB! So I requested him to go into his system look at the specs, sure thing. There was NO USB lol its not a huge deal but some folks gotta learn to read its a very helpful tool. He apologized and said well you got me there. I still bought the tablet because I had no choice as it was a gift for my daughters birthday and I had to buy her a tablet.
I recommend not to go to this place they are nothing but a scam I paw and meant mobile 3 and 1 SIM kit with the plan I opened it up my SIM card was not in there I recommend not going to this place and when I went up there to go and pick up my money back they personally told me we cannot help you you can leave and they said they cannot give me my money back or exchange it for another one so if I recommend you not go to this place🖕👎
I never had no bad experience with this place until today 01/06/2022 .. So my female friend ordered me the New Xbox Series S FORTNITE! So When I arrive today around 11:30 a.m. this morning to pick up the new Xbox series s the lady asked for ID but my ID didnt match the order so i had to go Edit online to put my full name and e-mail for it to match to pick up the Game... Once i did that it said order ready for pick up i told them that kept telling me i had to wait for a updated e-mail with my full name To pick up the item I called customer service said it was ready... The store manager kept telling me lies.. So i had my friend come pick up the game with no problem they lied and said I refuse to show ID lies 🤔🤔
Absolutely amazing location. I came in to get an online order tonight and while I was there I asked a staff member (named Ben) if they would price match a tablet I bought less than a week ago to the current black Friday price. The gentleman promptly assured me he could and refunded me the $100 difference in price to the original card it was purchased on. What makes me leave the review and hold the store in such high regards is that less than 30 minutes prior to stepping into this location I was told by the customer service phone number that they absolutely would not price match during the week of black Friday and my only option would be to return the original tablet, pay the restocking fee, and purchase the same tablet for the black Friday price granted the location had any in stock. Bestbuy please reach out to this Dearborn location and reward Ben who helped me with this. He was awesome I will always use this location and their staff is above and beyond anything I expect in the retail industry. Maybe work on your customer service line though. -updated my review to include the employee specifically who helped me as I returned the following night for another store pick up and had the opportunity to ask for it. Once again this store is the best and kudos to Ben.
I love the Dearborn Best Buy store. They always deliver excellent customer service. They go above and beyond for you. Todd in wireless is amazing. Through the years, he always takes care of whatever I need. Jenna and Zach are the best. They helped so much after the flood when I lost everything in my basement. They are amazing! These guys will take care of you and whatever you need guaranteed!
Almost all of the items from best buy wasnt what I was looking for since most have been always out of stock. I dont blame them However they shouldnt be so pushy about their alternatives. The things I return to this place was always a nightmare. No one seems to get that a waste in quality is a waste of money.
I ordered $450 dollar security camera setup from Amazon,cancelled the order and went to the best buy on Ford Rd in Dearborn because I wanted to know more about what I was buying.I stood around the security cameras for 35 minutes looking for some help. There was a family there looking when I got there that I heard say they were leaving because they couldnt get help. I will have to find a better store to go to when I have time.
Walked in today in this Best Buy (Ford Road, Dearborn)near our house to check a few laptops with the intention of buying a couple of them for us and near the closing time two representatives approach us and asked if we needed any assistance and after telling them we were just checking the laptops for now, one of them immediately replied and I quote “ Just so you guys know, we’re closing in a few minutes, SO JUST WRAP IT UP (in a very rude tone)” and they continued to walk away laughing about what they said to us. This is the worst experience I’ve had in a store. We understand it was closing time and we were on our way out too, but saying such stuff is extremely rude and shows a lack of customer assistance training is given to the employees. You could have just said it’s closing time and we would have received the message. We’ll take our business someplace else.
I just had the best experience ever at Best Buy with the help of my man Fred. He was patient, understanding, and really helped me out. I was bummed my order got cancelled and he helped me not only find a somewhat equivalent tv but a better deal at that. Definitely will be coming back to this best buy for all my tech needs.
Horrible experience. Still waiting for corporate to respond to complaint. Made appointment and no one showed up. After an hour an employee calls me cursing me out about me complaining and lied said he was there. The parking lot was empty upon my early arrival. Pitiful! And scary experience sitting in an empty parking lot and employees ignoring me saying they are not open yet I have an appointment.
The online inventory was correct so I got what I needed. I walked around the store several times browsing/impulsing and didnt cause the employees to question me which I enjoy. I looked but didnt find a customer accessible price scanner/verifier. I have been twice and enjoy this location, it seems to represent best buy very well.
Walked in trien to buy one of those old blueray/4k home theater systems but apparently those are old and no longer in stock! Was preety bummed out!!! but no worries best buy always has what you need one way or another :) lol ... left happy with a new xbox one X its amazing! Complety recommend it
I dislike this store.i purchased a tv for a grand,bought warranty. After having the tv plugged in for the first time, tv randomly shut itself off. Had to call geek squad, tv was swapped out with a factory certified.had the tv less than three months now i have backlight panel failure. Called geek squad, was warded off because of covid. I have mixed feelings about this place.i dont trust vizio products at all. Id buy another tv but these people try to make one problem seem like its the customers fault. Just be alert, there is junk on that wall of tvs.and i dont mean picture quality, i mean stuff that is known to be defective and still sold regardless.
I didnt like it because I asked for return for an item and usually there is always exceptions after the 15 days to return we all know that but the girl on the register didnt want to ask a manager or accept my excuse or Cooperate at all, she didnt even ask why iam returning it or why iam after the 15 days ?
I was in and out in 10 minutes. I got assistance immediately and was able to find what I needed to make my purchase. It was even quicker when I made a return. I was in and out in 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and I was greeted at the door each time, coming and going.
This Best Buy was very welcoming to my sister and I when purchasing a new fridge. The recent flood forced us to buy a new one. They have a few employees; therefore,You should wait for a long time to get some help.If I had an option not to give a star to this location, I wouldve done it.Next time I will go to a different location. Tried to call to ask about a modem I wanted to buy, they said they arent taking calls right now. I went up there and they werent busy at all but I still couldnt find anyone except the greeter. I asked the greeter if I could get some help in the wifi and networking section. He said Ill need your phone number. I tell him just send someone over when they have a chance as ill be in that section. He insists I absolutely cannot be helped by any employees unless I give them my phone number. I told him forget it, Ill just buy what I need on Amazon.
They were awful. I walked in. The greeter looked over me to the next guests then when he asked me if i was there to pick up. the thing i ordered that was supposed to be there that day wasnt. I was upset because i wanted it for my mom for mothers day. I had to ride an hour away to get that item and didnt get the bundle deal i was supposed to get for mothers day. Very disappointed. Very unfairly treated there
When you walk through the door they ask for your phone number and tell you that they will call you when a representative can help you. We came here to buy a 75 HD TV. We walked in 45 minutes ago and have still not been helped. Their customer service is non existent. This has been a waisted afternoon
This is all about Employee Todd!!!Today’s unexpected trip to this Best Buy location was awesome.My husband and I were visiting family in the SW Detroit area and my father in law asked for assistance in having his photo galley transferred to his new phone. Phoned his cellular company for help and was told to try Walmart but was unsuccessful there and was directed by their employee to try Best Buy.Todd was so patient and he saved the day by transferring those photos to the new phone. My 89 year old relative smiled from ear to ear when we returned him his phone.Thanks again Todd and Best Buy.Also, a thumbs up for the cleanliness of the customer’s restroom!!!Have a great day!
Cancelled my TV delivery and set for a week later because of truck problems. Youd think a place like best buy would have multiple trucks. When I purchased the TV I told them employees I need it by a certain day because it was my mothers birthday, I was told it was no problem and assured it would make it on time. Then they decided to postpone my delivery on the day of my mothers birthday which was the original delivery date. Dont assure people a date if you cant make it and plus whats with with outrageous delivery dates? You have truck problems so you push back delivery an entire week? Makes no sense.
Only a few sales people actually on the floor to help people. I ended up finding what I wanted but if there had been a salesperson (only one was monopolized for twenty minUtes by two elderly ladies) I would have known to have bought a charging plug. Apple now makes chargers with only the cord in the package and they changed their configuration so it isn’t compatible with past products. Why does there have to be three greeters? There were a lot of people in the store and I helped one customer myself.
Everyone there was so so polite. I mean everyone I encountered. Also it was the first store I have visited where the had sanitizer and different size gloves at the door for the customer upon entering. Great touch to go along with the great customer service. Put me at ease while shopping there.
Very good store, if you know what youre doing. They offer a wide selection of products and will price match a selection of online or local retailers. I wouldnt shop for pc parts there but they do have a nice selection of other electronics in store, including unlocked phones.
Invested in an Insignia TV 32 inch. Did a Price comparison on Amazon. The sales rep Yandi instantly was not only able to help me out and give me a great deal. She was very professional and knkwledgabls of the Brand and why its a great choics. Im happy with my experince and purchase. Thank you.
Best Buy employees from the Geek squad department under the Windows by Microsoft department don’t care about customers. I will never buy anything from best-buy again. I suggest that no one who has self-respect buys from Best Buy or seeks expert advice from Windows expert’s again. They don’t only want to earn your money, they want to earn your trust, then they want to make you confused so you don’t know how to use their products to produce the outcome you want. Now I know what Donald Trump was referring to when he said “fake news”.As a marketing genius, I will say that I am impressed by this strategy. I also will say that I can do this better then the person, team or department that designed this strategy and the board of directors that administrated the executive orders to carry out this strategy.
When I visited, it was very empty. Not product. Very few customers. I mainly went there to recycle a defective tablet. They dont give you cash or a gift card, but helping the planet has its own rewards. Also, greeter at the front of the store needs to face the entrance. I didnt see him until I was on my way out.
The geek squad was not helpful at all didnt touch my phone to see what the problem was just said yeah your phone is old and you just need a new phone. I was going to buy a new phone but they didnt have it in the color I wanted the samsung galaxy note. 20 ultra but he only had it in a black no solution or to say well let me see if I can order in a bronze and when it come in I will give you a call nope none of that so I left empty hand and plenty of money still in my purse thank you for nothing best buy Dearborn thank you.
I am really, really surprised to find out that Best Buy actually delivered my order to my sister. I only had the option for “Puck up or Ship” My sister said the Geek Squad truck pulled up, and by today being Eid I’m glad she was home.I’m very PLEASED with the fact that Best Buy, took the time to deliver. It probably was cheaper for them to deliver than ship. I really like Best Buy and have been shopping with them for YEARS! I LOVE the curbside Service. Each location has a different set up, and they are FAST, Friendly and has Great customer service.Also, I don’t know if this is the location that delivered my order today.Keep up the great work!Thank you,

I did purchase a TV, a couple of the male sales rep walked by me with no acknowledgment. Finally a young lady did ask if I need help she was very nice and helped me make a selection; but the TV area was junky. TVs stacked in TV wall area made it hard too see some selections so I didnt bother to try and look at those.
When I bought my electronics from Best Buy, the manager, Younis Ahmad, helped me out so much and I only like going to the Dearborn store because he is there to help me out. Highly recommend going to the store and asking for him to help you. I’d also like to thank him for helping me and everyone before and after me.
Was in the store trying to buy a washing machine no one came up to me and theyre playing section to help me though there were agents walking around on the floor. had to go find someone to help me but the guy who did wait on me was okay wish I was told that when the deliverers came to my house they would not be able to hook up my washing machine because I have PVC piping and they said they dont hook up the water supply line to PVC piping but I was not told that in the store
I was looking for a drone for my husband, didnt see any out so I asked the salesman he said if I dont see any over there more than likely we dont have them... I went online and saw that they had some on stock, so I asked another salesperson who name was Ray he stopped what he was doing and check for me with no problem... Excellent customer ... They insured me that I will receive my order. I did receive exceptional Customer Service. The office was managed well. The staff did their duties. They maintained the crowd well. All the employees. Handled guest complaints also. After my order was complete I was glad and I didnt have to question why I bought my item. They made sure my credit cards balanced was right by checking my identification. The customer Service did a great job Assisting me. They took the time to track and find my item I didnt have to make claims for lost or missing package. When I left store I was well pleased all the with staff
This has to be the dirtiest Best Buy location I have ever been in. There is literally dust on everything trash on the floors. I ask y his reply we have bad ventilation we dont have enough people. Well I was asked by a customer had I seen a sales rep i observed them in groups talking. Ill continue to go to the southfield store. I actually came to buy a samsung microwave I settled for a smoke detector that I wiped clean from dust. Y arent they dusting the product and cleaning instead of standing around doing nothing
Very helpful, kind employees. When I went there they helped me find the right laptop Ill need for school and helped me find one for my price range. The employees are always ready to help you with whatever you need and know how to treat their customers. The store layout is easy to navigate and is always stocked with the newest technology. Awesome store.
The customer service person I dealt with had a very pleasant attitude. I was disappointed about a store policy which was out of her control. I purchased a product 7 months ago and through normal use, it had already stopped working. I had a 2 year protection plan on the product, so I was able to exchange the product. But, in order to stay protected, I was required to purchase another 2 year protection plan. That doesnt seem fair to the consumer.
Bestbuy directs all of their phone calls to work at home call representatives who have literally no way to support your needs. (Due to covid I was told)I needed to ask an in store associate a question and the woman representing bestbuy told me to drive there to talk to them in person... This is unacceptable. When I asked to speak with someone else she said she could NOT transfer my call...She proceeded to get frustrated with me and told me she was trying to help me but couldnt...I spent 25 minutes on the phone to be frustrated and confused and still left with my original problem. Bestbuy is the McDonalds of electronics and dont care to support their customers.
Staff was courteous and eager to help. Its nice to enter a place and be asked if I had any questions or needed help. PCHO team ready to help. Store is neat and not the busiest when I was there. They seemed to have decent stock of the items I looked at. Andrew at front lines was super nice.
Went to get a charger. Friendly service. Unfortunately, I got the wrong item, so I went back the next day. No problem. The staff was helpful and friendly and solved the problem efficiently.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I had a major problem with Best Buy 3 years ago over a phone purchase. The 2 clerks who waited on me were overtly condescending, as if because I was a senior citizen, I couldnt possibly understand the complexity of a smart phone. I was all set to buy until I met these clerks. I walked out.So, figuring that there would have been staff changes in 3 years, I gave them a 2nd chance.
Came here last year to get a new keyboard, it was my first time going to a Best Buy so I didn’t know what they had, but they had everything I need, keyboard still works perfectly with no issues, best shopping experience ever! Would definitely come back here if I need anymore electronics.
Although its one of my favorite stores to shop I was a little disappointed on some of the new workers lack of knowledge of car stereos and everything that goes for the vehicle. Im glad he asked for help but maybe experience workers should spend one day at their side to make sure everything is going smoothly and their more confidence about the products the customers are asking to buy. They need to be trained in looking up price comparison for the customer...it not only helps the consumer with how much they have to spend but it makes us feel like our business means a lot to the store. When I went to the check out is where things got a little crazy! To many chiefs at the register and not anyone of them did the price comparison causing much confusion for me, I had to ask for it. The manager was very respectful and even gave me a better deal on one of the products but I dont believe the did with each item I was buying? I love your store, the stuff and the price comparison you do!
I been to this best buy many times but the service and help we got from louie was beyond good customer service. He went out of his way to help us with a purchase and took care of business in such a professional way. I would highly recommend this store and its manager louie thank you

My experience at this store was amazing. It was the best experience Ive had in a Best Buy. The workers were eager to help and actually did help. The worker even made sure that I was getting the best deal possible. The atmosphere of the store is amazing, from the security guards to the set ups in the store, to the workers. Everyone is so helpful and kind.The items I bought were exactly what I wanted, for $50 cheaper than I was going to pay! For better quality too. Seriously the best Best Buy around. More like Bestest Buy lol.
Cant find anything or anyone to help. I needed a simple power adapter and walked all over the store twice before I finally found someone to guide me to the correct isle. No 1 would even answer a single question, do you know where I can find a power adapter? response: Im looking something up for someone else, if you form a line I can point it out when Im finished. wanted me to form line and wait for him to point when he feels up to it. Idk how theyre in business, the adapter cost $20! I bought it then found it for $5 at Walmart next day.
I bought security cameras and to be installed by them i had an appointment they never came or called i have to call best buy the one on ford rd and find out whats going on, the geek squad employee said oh im sorry return the items i will give you a full refund i said i bought the camera for a reason, then i had to make another appointment on the weekend again NO ONE showed up i dont know what to do... very BAD experience. i usually never write a feedback
Brought a tv that was on sale. Got the tv home and the picture was beautiful...and then it wasnt. We reset the tv to give it a reboot and it never was the same. You could hear everything but see nothing. This review is not about the product, it is about the wonderful service we received before we brought the tv and when we had to bring it back for an exchange. Everyone including customers, had on a mask, put on hand sanitizer whenever they touch something and didnt have too many customers in the building.
A convenient location, neat and well organized store, they got a wide selection of electronics and good quality items. I always find what I’m looking for. The staff are very helpful as well as friendly, the prices are good, they got great offers during the holiday season. For those who are not tech savvy, they offer instruction on how to use devices such as phones, laptops, cameras, and TVs.
Wow I mean wow I did get greeted, But after coming in and asking about something as small as a printer after stopping sales agent who didnt even know they had printers in stock he lied about the ink cartridges he didnt know or wasnt knowledgeable at all what it took ,...what type of ink.He told me that a printer that you sold in your store I would have to go online to get the ink😲👎 only to run into another sales person who told me something totally different 😔
As soon as I walked in, the security greeted me and while I was looking around Yazan came out of no where and asked if everything was alright. He took care of me right away and even helped me on the spot to fix my phone. Dont usually write many reviews but that man was extremely nice and helpful.
Had to come to this location because the Novi store was completely incompetent and messed up my order.Todd in the cell phone department (here in Dbn.) was extremely helpful and went out of his way to get me the device I needed today. I had such a sour taste when I left the Novi store, but Todd made up for it. Guy works his butt off !
Don’t shop here. Go to another Best Buy location. I went in to purchase one item. I went to the cellphone check out. No customers were present. Just the workers on their personal phones FaceTiming. I asked to be checked out and they referred me to the long main check out line. I spoke to the manager and he said that there was no reason why those other employees could’ve helped me. Don’t waste your time and money at this location. Go to a location that will remind you why you choose not to buy online.
Geek Squad is phenomenal here,; however, customer service is a hit-or- miss. Some days ,in some departments, you will either find a friendly employees who is available to help or you will feel like a chicken without its head running around the store trying to find someone who can help. I wanted to buy a phone, but walked away from the sale because the worker acted as though they were upset when I asked for help.
Well for one thing the salesperson intentionally walled away from me in order to avoid answering whatever question that I might have had. They did have the item that I was looking for but as usual it was overpriced. The reason that they even have the two stars is because at least they had the part.
The Best Buy staff was great in making certain that our family was informed about comparative pricing, product specifications, and additional services to make the best fit techology item of purchase. The atmosphere was humming with consumers and staff with a ratio of 2:1. The inside was clean. The outside was tidy.
It was hard finding someone to answer a few questions regarding a TV I was planning to buy. Bought a 50in smart TV that I had to take back due to damage fresh out the box.They gave me a new replacement TV but despite the inconvenience they could/ would not offer anything to make up for it. These are large purchases something should be done in these situations. TV didnt even have a browser which someone could have told me if I had ever found the help.
Ive been a customer here for a long time, they used to be amazing. Now, I recommend you stay away from this location.You get more use from an amazon search bar than you do from any of the Best Buy staff. It took 3 people and over an hour to figure out what I needed to hook up 2 monitors to a surface pro. I wouldnt even be upset except after everything I left without making a purchase because the guy helping me finally realized that the monitors I wanted were out of stock.At least everyone is cheerful and seems to love their job. But than again who wouldnt, the place seems like a large playground for the entire staff.Maybe Im being to harsh but I shouldnt have had to gp through this. When you go to an electronics store you expect to deal with a knowledgeable staff who can answer your questions and maybe even know where the product is located in the store.
I went in today looking for a the Razer Kraken Kitty Headset. I asked if/where they had it. They had it. But I went up to one of the sale associates to ask if they had a aux/usb adapter to connect to my playstation. They then proceeded to tell me that this headset would not be able to hook up to my playstation with aux/usb adapter. I told them that it can and they denied me. They said according to their “ps4 expert” that it would not connect. He said that just because I liked this specific headset doesnt mean that it would connect to the playstation. They were very condescending towards me and I will not be back to this location ever again. Anyway I got home with new headset and connected it to my playstation and it worked🤪🤯. I had to change the output on my ps4 but it still works. Obviously this “ps4 expert” and the two other guys that were trying to tell me this headset would not work, were wrong.
Had them put a new battery in my iphone. Service was good and so was the turnaround time. However their process promotes privacy violation, and data breach. They have all customers remove password when checking in. They want access to your data, passwords, photos and anything you store on your phone. No other Best Buy store asks you to do that nor do apple stores. Stay away
Already never patronized this company, but definitely WILL NEVER give them my money! They are directly violating civil liberties and the DHHS order about being medically exempt from wearing a mask. We know people are brainwashed about masks due to the lies about covid, but to violate my rights of not being able to medically tolerate a mask and they would not allow me to assist my 86 year old uncle in purchasing a tv! Then, the worker at the door refused to look at documentation I was trying to show him about the law and refused my entry to the store. Thats exactly why companies like this WILL FAIL AND GO UNDER! PERIOD!! If I hadnt already been to 3 other stores looking for a simple tv for my elderly uncle to easily operate, I wouldnt have let him spend 1 penny there! People need to wake up about the lies about wearing these masks and how theyre doing more harm than good!!
TERRIBLE. THE ASSOCIATE WAS VERY RUDE I THOUGHT. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF COMPLETING A TRANSACTION WHEN SHE WAS STOPPED AND WANTEF TO HELP ANOTHER CUSTOMER REALLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL WHEN I WAS READY TO COMPLETE MY TRANSACTION AND THIS GUY WANTED TO ASK A QUESTION I FELT TOTALLY DISRECTED AND WALKED OUT
Garbage staff with zero leadership. Curbside pickup is a massive disaster. They had one employee scheduled to work on the last Saturday before a holiday. Zero communication about wait times and no one answering phones. Absolutely pure chaos. Go to another location with actual management.
I went in to purchase 3 laptops for my kids and I had an overall bad experience. First off the sales associates were not kind and out of the 5 that bombarded me one was informative, knew what they were talking about, and was helpful. Then I found the computers that were perfect for my kids, thanks to none of them, and two of them were open box items. One had a charger and the other did not on the sticker yet they cost the same. When I spoke to the manager he said he will not reduce the price for the one with the missing charger. Then I said then can you at least provide me with a charger from the store? He said they dont sell them there. Then I go to check out and I find out both chargers are missing. I said to him now can I get a little discount and he refused. On my receipt it said one laptop had a charger and one did not. If the prices were not so good, time being so constricted, and my kids needing the laptops I would have went somewhere else.
The best buy itself is ok at best. The product knowledge from the salesman really are not there. Also, but definitely worth noting, the way these salesman are hungry for a sale ruin the experience. They are very pushy on you to get there clearance items with no real explanation on why to get it. The salesman seem nice so they get points for that, but that can be just their tactic to sell.
My phone was dying and I needed to run a bunch of errands for work and I was a good hour away from my apartment. I went to Best Buy to get a battery charger. One of the employees found me exactly what I needed and more. I got a really great deal on a portable battery bank that is able to charge both my personal phone and work phone simultaneously, and multiple times. Made my day much easier to get work done.
Poor customer service to be honest.I ordered a phone and got a text message 10 minutes later saying that my product is ready to be picked up. But then in the queue, I had to wait for around two hours to checkout just because the two customers ahead me took an hour each!! While my checkout took 2-3 minutes only! They could have easily released me since couple of checkout counters were empty and several stuffs were just roaming around. Stuffs here need to be more organized. You can not spend an hour selling your product when other people are waiting in the queue.
Poor customer service at this location. Waited 15 mins before someone finally asked if I needed help only to say Ill get someone over to help you. Waited another 5 mins for no one to show up. Asked another random employee walking around for some help. Was told they would be back to help me and to look in a certain area for what I needed. After looking and waiting another 15 mins I see they were helping a different customer than before. I wasted over 30 mins to see if a USB-C to Ethernet adapter was in stock. It probably wouldve taken a employee 30 seconds to look up on a computer and it was supposedly in stock per Best Buys website. I walked out empty handed and wasted half an hour for nothing.
Great store and always have great service. I frequent the phone department the most. Their service is always top notch with very knowledgeable staff. Jessy the Samsung rep is the man whom can answer most questions, Id highly recommend him for any phone sales/inquiry.
I went in to purchase a new charge cord and printer ink. I waited quite a long time after requesting help with the charge cord because I wasnt sure which were compatible with Android phones. It was suggested that I get the store brand with a year warranty. This type of cord is so poorly made, they fall out of the phone after about 2 weeks. When I told them this, they said it doesnt matter because I could keep replacing it. As a disabled person, the idea of returning to get new chords throughout the year is very unappealing. As for the ink- I was pretty sure I knew the type but asked a different employee just to be sure. He checked his phone and told me I had the wrong ink and took it back to the shelf. I believed he was mistaken so I asked him to check my purchase history ( I have a card) and sure enough I was correct in the first place. I had to go back across the store to get my ink back. I am not at all confident that all of the employees are actually qualified to impart advice - buyer beware and do your own research beforehand.

2022-05-06Upon walking into the store, I notice yellow caution paint to alert me to the curb. That they don’t have is caution paint on the part of the curb that slopes to the pavement. I tripped over this portion of the curb and fell flat on the ground injuring my right side and right elbow. Two ladies and a gentleman were at the entrance when I fell and helped me up after feeling like a fool. One of the two ladies said she did the exact same thing two weeks ago. She pulled up her pants to show me her knee. Ouch.Her comment on falling as well had me request to see a manager. I took her outside and showed her the issue. I recommended that the edge of the sidewalk be painted yellow like the section next to it. She asked if I needed anything and told her I was here to buy a television. She said she would send someone over to help me. I waited over 20 minutes and not one associate came to help me or was in the area. The only person to acknowledge me was the Xfinity salesman.Frustrated by the lack of help, and in pain from my fall, I left upset and disappointed. Pictures are the curb areas where one can easily trip. Especially if you are like me paying attention to the yellow paint to avoid tripping there.As I left I mentioned to the guy sitting. At the exit and another associate that I waited over 20 minutes for someone yo help me purchase the TV and no one came. They said nothing in response so I walked out.If I had a customer treated like I was, I would have asked me to wait, apologized, and found me an associate right away.Thanks for nothing Best Buy, You lost my business. I’m heading to ABC Warehouse to buy my 75” TV.

2022-01-04The only store in the area that had a ps4 and took about month to be delivered, Months later after multiple issues with geek squad changing prices at different locations to resolve the same issue I get a 1tb drive to fix my ps4 from the original store. I get home to find out its already opened....WHY TF DID I STILL GET CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR A CLEARLY USED AND REPACKAGED PRODUCT 👎👎. Im not saying dont shop here maybe just try other stores first.

2022-07-08It’s been a while since I’ve been brick and mortar to a Best Buy but I remember that customer service used to be a thing here. I was looking to spend money searching for a product had 5 members of the staff walk by me not acknowledging me at all. I literally walked out out and bought it online instantly from some place else.

2022-06-08I had a great experience trading in my old iPhone 8+ for a new iPhone 13. The in-house Verizon expert, Todd, was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough in explaining the logistics of the deal and walking me through setting up my new device. He also fixed within minutes a technical issue with my phone’s voicemail that hours on the phone with numerous Verizon representatives had been unable to solve. I will definitely be coming back to this store for future electronics purchases and for technical support for my phone.

2022-07-03Worst experience ever to walk into a bestbuy in Dearborn and waste 45 minutes of my time on simple process of exchanging a screen protector that was under warranty. Cashier told me they had three in stock of the screen protector I had so she peel off the screen protector off my phone and gave it to another rep that finds out that it was a wrong size, then had me bouncing off from register to register to come up to a conclusion that they did not have it but they had something different and wanted to upsell me to something different which I did not want, Then a manager comes along restating the same thing and telling me to going to a different store it took them 45 mins to tell me that, and she ended up putting back my old one that was broken from one corner crooked and it was shattered worst customer service ever waste of 45 minutes which I never get back never going back there again.

2022-06-24I went to Westland first Television section totally disorganized, there no order by size or manufacturer. Sales people were very little help.I couldnt find the TV that was on the websites so I left.The next day I went to Dearborn just as unorganizedhowever they did have the t.v but please tell me why wasnt it on displayNext time Ill just order from Amazon less headache.

2022-01-13People here were very helpful when I was looking to buy my fiance a new laptop for her new job. The gentleman in that department were so helpful and knowledgeable. They convinced me to spend less on a better machine which I am definitely no complaining about. Thanks for the savings fellas!
