I came in with a laptop issue for Geek Squad help. I tried a few avenues to resolve my issue and even had another tech service try to resolve it. It was literally the result of a non-essential Windows update that was pending. SMH!! Ugh! So, simple. He clicked on it and ran the update. ALL FIXED!! He took pity on me and didnt even charge me for the 10-mins it took him to fix it. I wouldve given him my house at that point. Thanks guys!!
Our local Best Buy is currently opening at 11AM. I didnt realize that, so I ended up waiting in the lot for 20 mins. Check their hours prior to going there. I was greeted right away. The store was bright and clean. The staff member in the computer department answered my questions and saved me from a computer building mistake. As always, BB was a great source for knowledge and product.
I was gifted the galaxy smart watch 4 that was purchased at this location loved it, until it stopped working 2 weeks after. I went in to get it fixed they said it was defective and swapped it out for a new one, which stopped working after 3 weeks this time, so I went in again and all they could do was swap it out again but since it was past the 2 weeks I wouldve had to purchase the insurance again, which I didnt feel was right because its not my fault that the watch was defective. So I ended up just returning it and still was not given the refund for the insurance I purchased even though they couldnt fix it and did nothing for me, and the money was not returned to my card I was given a store credit instead. So I basically paid 80 bucks for nothing, I dont have a watch, and I still have to spend my money there
Your employee in the cellphone dept was pretty helpful however your samsung rep was kind of surly and not helpful after i made it clear i was in no way interested in the S22 ultra phone or any other of the 900$ plus phones. If your employee had not taken over i was very close to leaving to shop elsewhere. I would not be surprised if your store loses customers because of that rep i know he isnt your employee but do you want someone in your store that drives customers away?with all that i was able to get a phone at the price point i wanted and had all the features i needed from your store so that is good and again your employee did well once the rep left and we could finish the dealnew phone is working very well
You must be doing well. Our TV broke today and so I went to you to get a new one. Was looking at OLED but could not get any help and it was slow in there. I went up to the TV counter for help getting one, two employees walked up, both looked me in the eye then walked off. I guess I will support Amazon.
Very angry that the cashier decided to make racist jokes with her customer when I was next in line😡. She made the customer uncomfortable. I waited to speak the store Supervisor-20 minutes....he never came. I had to leave for work. Ill NEVER visit this Best Buy again! Cashier is rude!
Received great information from a young man in the TV area about sound bars, that are in our (low) price range. I wish I had caught his name. Now we know what to get when we are ready to make a purchase! Gratefulness his wisdom and knowledge, and that there was no pressure. Just good info.
I wish it was possible to rate less than one star, Best Buy booked me an appointment to install my remote car start that they sold me and they booked it almost two months in advance. 10 minutes before my appointment time they called me and cancelled it and said they would call back to schedule a new appointment time and surprise surprise they never called. After being hung up on and disconnected for over an hour they finally booked me an appointment.. two months later in FEBRUARY. I booked my appointment in November. Avoid this place like the plague god awful customer service and experience. Love to see how they treat their total tech customers and then ignore them.
Place is going to hades in a handbasket...First they canceled call-in help, so youre left dealing with some clueless phone rep who doesnt know day from night. And they no longer honor the pricey Geek Squad coverage, which I invested for both my printers and PC. The latter which malfunctioned after a few months, and they gave me stellar runaround, stating they couldnt help me
Went to Best Buy and they fixed the problem of their not answering the phone for computer repairs. The Best Buy Geek Squad staff gave me a phone number to contact Geek Squad directly after purchasing a new computer at Best buy, in case anything went wrong, so I could call and receive help quickly with any technical issues that arose after purchase.A big improvement! Before Best Buy would not take incoming phone calls, but Geek Squad has stepped up to help with this problem..
I went to Best Buy in Grand Rapids,MI by Woodland Mall and the customer service here was HORRIBLE! Yesterday I had just purchased a gaming keyboard and a mouse pad from this location. The service was decent and the worker was friendly. But today it was a totally different story! Today my monitor got cracked and I needed it fixed. So I called had got a appointment with one of the Geek Squad Agents so they could look at my monitor to give me an estimate. Over the phone and on the website it said they could fix monitors. I drove all the way out here and once I got there they said the do not fix monitors and don’t have no control over what’s on the website. So I then asked who could help me with finding a new monitor. At this point I would just buy a new one. They send a guy name Angel to come over and help me. Now Angel was extremely rude and really didn’t know how to talk to customers and seemed like he didn’t know what he was talking about when it came to explaining which would be a good purchase. I told him my price range which was $250-$350. He shows me some monitors but then turn around and tell me these are not really good ones. I feel that was not helpful at all! If I’m going to spent my money why would you show me something that is not a good product?Once I told him that he got smart! After that I refused to spend any more of my money at this Best Buy! So I went to the one in Walker,MI and the service there was great!!! I will be returning there.
I am not sure if this is a Best Buy issue or a problem with the appliance manufacturer, but it needs to be sorted out…. Before I lay out my qualms with Best Buy, I want to note that the delivery teams I dealt with were EXCELLENT. None of this was their fault and they handled the situation with great customer service.I ordered a Whirlpool appliance set that included a stainless-steel refrigerator, washer, microwave, and range. I picked up the microwave and refrigerator at one of the stores (emergency situation, our old one went out, so we couldn’t wait for a delivery). I didn’t have enough room in my pickup truck for the other appliances, so I scheduled a delivery for the dishwasher and range. This store was tagged with the delivery because I am in their service area. This is where the problem begins….The appliances were delivered on 9/19. Our kitchen is going through a renovation, so we had them keep everything in the box (inspected the boxes, no apparent damage). After the delivery guys left, I decided to open the top of the range box to check out my new purchase. To my surprise, the top of the control panel was completely smashed in to the point that the stainless-steel cover was separating from the control screen (about a 2” deep dent in the top edge of the control panel). There’s no telling if the controls still worked or not because I immediately closed the box. I called the 800 number, sat on hold for 20+minutes, and got a return scheduled – the 2nd “new” range would be delivered on 9/24 and they would take the damaged one back to the store. No big deal - minor inconvenience.On 9/24, the new range showed up as scheduled. This time, I had them unbox it before they left. Lo and behold – this one had the exact same damage on it. The top was smashed/dented in and the stainless-steel plate was pulling away from the control screen. They took the original damaged range with them and left the “new” one behind. Again, I had to call the 800 number, sit on hold for another 20+ minutes, and schedule yet another appointment to get this swapped out for a new one. Well see if the 3rd one comes out undamaged....delivery is scheduled for next week.All-in-all, this has been a really frustrating experience. It’s obvious that someone along the way has been stacking things on top of the ranges (like I said, not sure if this is a Best Buy issue or a problem with the way they are shipped to BB from the manufacturer). Also, give your delivery teams the necessary “authority” to start a return on the spot. You do nothing but waste the customer’s time if they must call into a hotline and sit on hold just so Best Buy can fix the mistake. All I want is for my appliance to be delivered undamaged, that is what I paid for….
This place is a far cry from the heaven I remember over a decade ago, but that being said the store and brand has done an incredible job pivoting and staying relevant in the face of online disruption. The store acts as a showroom for many brands now, and since they price match major brands online there is still a very compelling reason to physically visit the store if you have questions about a product or are the type of person that likes to try before you buy.
Rating 5 stars even though I didnt come out with anything for this reason, good customer service matters! These guys at this store had nothing to do with the fact that they were out of stock on what I ended up deciding on but the service they gave me was absolutely phenomenal. The guy in the camera section was insanely knowledgeable and very very helpful. He seemed to understand exactly what it was that I was hoping to get from a new camera and led me to the right one for my budget. His knowledge actually seemed to surpass that of the camera store I had just come from which was very refreshing. Thank you so much for your help!
I went to this Best Buy because a MacBook Air I bought was $200 off after less than a week.I messaged Best Buy customer service online and they said I could go into the store and price check without even having the computer on me.At first, it seemed like I was going to have issues price matching the computer without having the computer on-hand.I asked to speak to supervisor just to make sure before going all the way back home to get the computer. I didn’t want to make a fuss at all about it but it was just an inconvenience.The supervisor came over and was quick to figure out the issue. She did run into a few more issues along the way having to put all but the $200 onto gift cards.I honestly am not 100% sure what she did but she definitely got it done. She went out of her way to help a customer, and I really appreciate it.I am definitely going to be coming back to this store after such a great experience!
They act like they are commission . In the first 5 minutes I had three different people ask me if I needed help. One asked me while I was stand their if I needed help and I said no and he said are you waiting on customer service . What does that matter I said no. In about 15 minutes their I had 8 people ask me if I needed help. Ridiculous. I love that place and want to buy a TV but to keep getting bugged makes the experience not worth it. Buy to one of my favorite places .
We had a great experience with Scott. We are upgrading our TV for the first time in almost a decade and getting our first sound bar. Scott took the time to explain and demonstrate all the different options on current televisions along with their prices so we could make the best choices for our use and lighting. Then he repeated that with soundbars. We appreciate his input and look forward to our delivery and set up to enjoy our new system.
I had come looking for a new racing wheel, one in specific. I saw one behind a cabinet, and was wondering if it was on hold or for sale. I found someone who worked here, I dont remember his name but he helped me and was very polite and helpful about it all. He helped us later up front and was very polite there too. I may have emptied my wallet but service and cleanliness was 10/10
Yesterday my husband suggested we splurge on a new laptop as I am delaying my 2nd retirement from teaching. We headed straight to Best Buy. There we met Josh who listened closely as I described my needs for good speed, quality sound and camera included in a solid, lightweight laptop. We settled on an open box bargain with all my requested features. I was so excited to take it home. My evening plans were to get my teaching tools and favorite links all loaded on my new computer. We got home, I put the laptop charging and left the room for other chores for school. BUT, I heard a soft hissing sound. When I walked back towards the laptop, the sound increased. I ended up calling Best Buy. The young man who answered told me to bring the computer back for them to look at. An hour later, I carried my new laptop back to Josh. To be honest, on the long drive to the store; I was pretty concerned as to a time delay (school starts Monday) and/or a substantial price increase as I had purchased an open box computer. BUT, I could not have been more pleased to leave Best Buy with a brand new laptop at the same discounted cost about 15 minutes later! Josh took my newly purchased computer to Mike, an assistant manager, and a decision was made quickly to replace my new teaching tool. I wish I could give these two professionals a higher rating than 5 stars! They were both so understanding and professional in their discussion with me. Mike made a point of apologizing two or three times for the distressing situation. I smiled all the way home, worked all night and took online classes all day. I am still smiling. Josh and Mike and Best Buy - 10 Stars!
Best buy was our best bet to find a computer bag that would function as an airline carry on. The store stocked many different choices. We found what we wanted. Checkout was quite slow since only one cashier was available. When a second person came, the line started moving ok.
We stopped by Sunday to pick up a phone we ordered online. We were confused by the curbside hours as oppose to the store opening hours since we had a phone trade in. The manager on duty, I believe named Mike or Matt met us outside before the store opened to let us know we would need to come back at 11 when the staff for that department was in. We came back at 11:15 and the manager found us and let us know he was having a tech wait for us. That tech ended up getting another customer so the manager pulled a supervisor to help us. I appreciate him going above above beyond to make sure we were helped and in a timely fashion. It was great customer service!
PLENTY of employees, not enough help. Alpine store also looks like when Sears was going out of business.If you need help with a purchase (tv, large appliance), you need to scan a QR code to enter a queue. After waiting 20 mins while 4-5 employees just congregated by the door, not helping anyone, I asked the nearest one if they could help me in purchasing a washing machine. Finally, he was able to get an expert over to help. I didnt need an expert, I just needed an employee who could mash keys to complete a purchase.They assured me that it was in stock and would be ready shortly. THAT WAS A LIE. I scheduled pickup for Friday. Once I got home (a 20 min drive), I got an email that said my order was ready for pickup. 😡😡😡
Went in for some cords and they didnt have any. The associate was super friendly and helpful. He got everything ordered and express shipped to my home. He also waived the shipping charge for the inconvenience of not having them in stock. I will diffantly shop there more offend from now on. Oh and I pass a closer best buy to get there.
Talked with Ben. The installation person at the Best Buy on 28th st. Super, super helpful!!! Answered all my questions and looked things up for me. Cant say enough on how nice he was. Went in to buy a webcam, associate helped me out after noticing i was quite lost.Was able to buy mt webcam with little issue, was stopped at the door to make sure i had bought the webcam which i fully understand due to the store having checkouts in the vadious sections.All in all, quick, easy, friendly
Purchase an item yesterday it was Defective. Ordered a replacement today for pick up. Never received confirmation that it was ready. Called customer service. They told me to stop in and they’d be able to get it for me because they have them available. The gentleman at the front desk was rude. Told me to follow the arrows and not to come up and ask the question unless I was in that line. Of course there was nobody in line and he could’ve stole answered it for me but was extremely rude. Needless to say I still do not have my replacement item and will not shop at this location again.
I want to tell 2 stories( actually one but about 2 different stores 😄). I work as a first responder and until December 27, I will not literally be able to make an apoitment for repairs(change battery on iPhone), as I travel all over US. I came one of the Best Buy Geek squad ( different state ) where the manager did not even listen to me, began to loudly attract the attention of others, how busy they are 🙄.And so destiny brings me here to Grand Rapid , and you know what? people here not only listen to me, but also changed the battery.So I would like to say thanks repair agent Mike and whole team of the store!! I think if we will have more people around us like this America will be great always !!👍Best buy management you have to bonus your geek squad team!!
Upon entering the Best Buy on 28th Street I was approached by the store manager, Brian. He explained that hed be the only person in the store that could help me due to the fact that I wasnt wearing (and refuse to) a mask. I explained that I was looking for a birthday gift and wasnt exactly sure what I wanted and I asked if he had any suggestions on the products I was considering. He said he knew nothing about the products and was unable to help. So, the store manager is a liar? Or the store manager doesnt know the products hes selling/offering? Or refused my business due to the fact I wasnt wearing a mask? Regardless, Best Buy just lost a customer for good.
Well, this is sad. I went here looking for a solid state drive for a laptop. They had none. Really. Zero. Plenty of empty spaces for SSDs on the display rack, but no drives. And that would make sense if there were an SSD shortage. But, the only shortage is in the SSD section of BestBuy.I found a webcam of interest. Since there were no employees around, I asked another customer if he knew how to find a price. He said he uses the BestBuy web site to look up missing prices, because theres no good way to get that information in the store. Good grief.So, I went to Walmart. A helpful and knowledgeable employee greeted me, and asked what I was looking for. She led me immediately to a stack of drives in a cabinet, and told me exactly where to find her after Id made a selection. I chose one; she was where she said shed be, and I was checked out and on my way in less time than I spent picking through the mostly empty displays at BestBuy. And did mention that Walmart prices their stock?So why is it sad? It wasnt always that way. This used to be a great place to pick up computer hardware when I didnt want to wait to have it shipped. But, its that no longer. Conclusion? I dont know any good local sources of computer parts any more. Walmart is great for the few things they have. Beyond that, I think you pretty much have to order online and wait.
Victor greeted my partner and me three months ago at the Kentwood Best Buy. We’d recently moved, needed to upgrade the homes TVs/sound systems, and our first stop was Best Buy. Victor was knowledgeable and spent a serious amount of time that first visit answering our questions and giving candid advice (even guiding us towards lesser-priced models of something when he felt there was better quality for a lower price).He then handed us off to Sam, their In-Home advisor. Sam came out, looked at the rooms we wanted to upgrade, and put in our order. Over the next few weeks, he and his Geek Squad cohorts (Dave, Phil, and others) were out to our home setting everything up and installing things. They all did an amazing job.Everyone at Best Buy made the process easy, simple, and hassle-free. We cannot recommend them enough!
At the location at East beltline the selection is tremendous and Kyle an employee, offered me a lot of help. he was beyond knoedgeabld put himself in my shoes and help me make a decision that would cost me alot of money and headache. I definitely recommend him! Be blessed!
I had a long nasty review with a 1 star rating because I was treated poorly on a major purchase recently. I was able to get the issue resolved finally, not through the store, but on-line. It was a mess but its fixed now and im happy. Im changing my review because I usually have a great experience here and have bought a lot of different products from major appliances to tvs to computers and printers, etc. I buy all my tech here and have for decades. I dont think one bad experience and one bad employee warrant a bad rating for the store.The store is nice, the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue buying from bestbuy and would recommend to anyone. Was recently at another best buy in the area and realized this location is way nicer than other stores.
Overall, the service men were efficient and kind. I need the vent on the dryer changed from the back to the left of the dryer. Before leaving, they tested the washer and dryer. The washer had the user manual and extra parts in it which I had to clean up the paper bits afterward. I guess that I have no manual now. They gave me a phone number to call to have the vent on the dryer moved. Ive called 4 times. Today, I called too and no one answered at the store (option 5 for appliances) and I was on hold 30 minutes in the car. When I got to my destination, I hung up. Then I texted the salesman (hed given me a business card and offered to come to my home to recommend appliances/TVs) that I bought the washer from and no answer. Im not sure what to do and Im frustrated. It feels like they took my money and now I cant get help to make it functional in my living space. The best buy service sucks. I even tried chatting online and it was a virtual chat that was generalized and didnt help. The dryer and washer set work great, however.
Went in to Bestbuy today to get a laptop. Inventory is super low which I understand, but the associates they had working this morning were terrible. If you werent looking at their high end models they didnt want to help you. Not just me I noticed this with a few different group of customers. When I asked about the inventory the gentleman just says thats just the way it is then recommends buying the more expensive model. Always been a customer of Bestbuy but I wont be coming back to this location ever.
We went in today to buy a 19 in. Not so easy to find who wants a small TV right! Anyway we had the nicest young man they didnt have it in his. Store so he called another and they had it waiting for us. We also spoke with another young man about sport watches he was very informative. Best Buy has always treated us great.
I had to visit this location to return items that I purchased online I no longer needed. The person processed the returns with ease. She was polite and courteous. It was the easiest process in returning items that I have ever experienced. More companies should use their return model. Great place to go to.
Clean, well organized, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every time Im here, Im equal parts helped and left alone if I say Im browsing. No vulture staff culture here and I LOVE it.Everything is priced exactly like every other Best Buy. The website lets you prepare for how much youre going to spend and then the store shocks you with amazingly priced open box offers.Great service, great people, great products, great price. Would recommend.
I use the Geek Squad at Best Buy in was very satisfied with their service. I got my computer scheduled to drop off on Thursday night. I had a pickup time scheduled for Sunday. They were able to complete everything by Saturday and I was able to pick it up that afternoon. My computer now is running much faster and back to the way it used to be. Great job!
Needed headphones with a high quality microphone (for an online media interview the next morning) for my very old laptop. Kyle was extremely helpful in finding me what would work best with my laptop and have great audio quality. He even booted up my computer to make sure theyd work together okay. I went home knowing I wouldnt run into any last minute issues on my end for the interview. Thanks Kyle. You were great!
Very nice, clean. Met a staff member, Kyle, in the television department, absolute legend. Knew every detail to any and all tvs, display types, pixel density, origins, of all the TVs! Crucial guy to have on their team. He should definitely get a raise. Thank you Kyle!
How is it possible to have a business and not have a number to contact them on when you have an appointment. I went to the wrong location and was 13 min late and had no way to let them know, not a phone number or anything. Got to the location for them to tell me they filled my appointment.. in 13 minutes? Couldnt call? Because clearly I couldnt contact you. WHAt AJOKe Drove 45 minutes for nothing. If i could rate at a zero I would
They disconnected their phone and wasted so much of my time, it was appalling. They don’t carry many phones in stock and they offer many shipping options but none of them would go through.. this may be AT&T’s fault, but they seriously need better service. The staff are as helpful as they can be within their system.
I purchased the geek squad computer repair coverage for $200. I drop computer off this Thursday at 1pm. That rep advice it should be ready by mid day Sunday. I called to check in on Sunday at 11:15am and they pretended to have been working on my laptop. However the laptop an my cell phone are connected and my phone updated me that the laptop was turned on at 11:18a as i was placed on hold for 10 min. Then that phone rep told me it was getting an update and would be ready until Monday. I know updates dont take that log but i needed my laptop so i went to the store on Sunday at 6pm to pick it up regardless of it being ready or not and when i let them know i was there, all of a sudden both my devices were ready. I would not recommend the geek squad in that location or the $200 membership. Devices are still slow when being turned on.
I’m very disappointed with the customer service that I received at this Best Buy. I went in to get a new TV as a Christmas gift for the father of my kids, I was at the tv section for a long time looking to see if there was any worker that could help me with some of my questions. There was a woman that worked by the desk in that section that seen me looking around and as I started to walk towards her to ask for assistance she walked away, then there was a guy that apparently worked there but didn’t have any uniform on and had gone to stand where the other girl was at first and just stared at me. I then had to walk around the whole store to find someone to help until I got the attention of one of the employees there was able to answer my questions and then just walked away without offering any more help to find the perfect tv for me to buy. I was upset with the poor service I got I just looked around and searched on the internet what TV to check out all by myself thanks to google!!, finally I had found one and I had to carry it by myself, employees seen me struggling and none helped like they should of had and just started at me. Once I got to the cashier the cashier gave me a dirty look and made it seem like I ain’t had the money for the tv giving me the weirdest look and was talking to a coworker while I was paying for my item and didn’t even offer for any coverage to put on the tv. I had to carry it all the way to my car with no employee offering to assist. This is poor customer service and makes me not want to go back there again. They should really consider rehiring these employees.
This is a nice Best buy store. They are well stocked most of the time. The staff is friendly - almost too friendly as sometimes when I am in a section I will be asked if I need help by multiple people. But I cant really complain about that because its better to be asked multiple times then to have no help at all.Best buy will also price match any price on Amazon, Target or any other well-known competitor if you show them a lower price on your cell phone for the exact same product. In the Grand rapids area I consider this the best Best buy, the other ones are a bit dirty and dont have such a friendly staff.
Ordered online and picked a TV up at the store. The staff had me in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. The fellow told me to drive up to the door and he loaded it for me. Very careful and practiced safe procedures. I will be back for more products with service like this.
They have a wide variety of electronic and appliances to look at, and for the products I was looking for today they had the same price I could get on internet web sights. So I would much rather buy local and help keep these people employed.I will say I was sad to see their movie and music selection cut way back. But there were plenty of friendly employees to help me with anything in the store
Had a solid experience here. The sales rep listened to our needs and was able to offer advice that fit our needs. We had been to the Grandville location, and felt unwelcome. We were obviously a bother to the Grandville store. Beltline was happy to help, and so that was where we spent our money.
I have really mixed feelings about this Best Buy. Most of the staff is nice and friendly, and I have gotten great help a handful of times. The store is normally well staffed, clean, and ready to serve guests. On the other hand, Ive had two run ins where the store manager has acted extremely unprofessionally (read: talking poorly about customers while they are in earshot). As long as you dont have to deal with her, its a pretty nice store. Dont forget it is Best Buy and you will pay Best Buy prices.
Absolutely amazing. The staff was so kind and very helpful. We had a really great guy there pretty much get me to consider switching over to Samsung. Truth be told, Im already using a Pixel 2 XL. So it wasnt hard. But either way, it was a great experience. Check out went smoothly and the cashier was really nice.
Good store for many items but I wish the store management in the area would work with the police department to minimize the number of people roaming the parking lots asking for money. It is getting to be a common occurrence and makes customers feel unsafe. Some of the offenders can be pretty aggressive and persistent.
The first time I came in a gentleman helped me with a cable and it was the wrong one. I had my phone with me !!When I came in to return the cable everyone was very helpful and think it took five minutes. Thank you!!The only complaint I have is your store opens to late.
They really have a good selection of items. Sure, I think theyre overpriced, as Im sure Im not alone in this line of thinking. But they did have exactly what I was looking for. Whats better is that I ordered online, and it was ready within 20 minutes. Plus they brought it out to me. So out of all the Best Buy locations Ive been to, this one is the best.
Always have had a good experience. The women at the customer service desk are A+++. Had a complicated return issue yesterday and she handled it quickly and efficiently. I usually do Amazon for my electronics but sometimes its nice to be able to buy something and get it that day.
Never had a bad experience here. Ive been going here for years, and its always been clean and organized. The staff can be on your back at times asking if they can help you, which can be annoying if youre just window shopping, but thats part of what good customer service is I suppose. Went to geek squad once, they took a look at my outdated computer and told me it wasnt worth fixing due to the age, they then gave me a little advice about building my own PC when I said I was going to do that instead of fixing it. Cant really complain about this Best Buy at all!
I had a great experience. I was looking to purchase a couple appliances I saw on the website and Haley was helpful and was able to assist me in placing my order right over the phone. She was knowledgeable and able to make things work and it saved me a couple trips into the store. I also found the appliances were the same price if not cheaper than the competition and they even delivered them free. It was nice not having to spend the money in my truck to go get them with fuel prices being what they are.Very satisfied and will continue to do business when future needs arise.
Ordered an item online drove 45 minutes to get it and it wasnt ready. The employees refused to get the item saying it had to work through their system. They were very condisending and rude. Waited in the store for another hour and a half and it still wasnt ready. I had to leave and drive home (45 minutes) without the item I ordered.Two days later Im informed the item I purchased online was never available at the store. I didnt receive an email stating it wasnt available. Best Buy can go to hell!
Best Buy is OK they have a good selection of common things but usually the most popular things are sold out and sometimes the help can be a little inexperienced though you dont know that because they all act like they know what they are talking about. I usually end up returning items
Was rather lost and the employee I asked for help from seemed a bit put out that I even asked him a question and for him to help.The store was not very clean and was in no way in somewhat of an order. Mind you 4 years since I have been to this particular store. But I wont be back for another 4 yrs or longer
Although I got a great black Friday deal on. t.v. I had to jump through some hoops. First time I tried ordering on the Best Buy site, O was told that I couldnt pick it up in a store. Then as they were offering me the option to have it delivered, I gave them the delivery info and was told it couldnt be delivered. O then went back to the site to order it and succeeded but then told that I would have to schlep an hour north to pick it up. I drive all the way up there and then I?m told that if I transport flat, the store wouldnt be required to take it back if something was wrong. Do you not think that would have been nice to know BEFORE coming up there so I could make proper arrangements? I tried going to a Uhaul place Gor a trailer and they didnt have one. The only option would have been to rent a truck for around $150. I had to call a bud where I live to bring his trailer an hour north to me. Maybe next time just choose Wal-Mart?
Customer service isnt the greatest. Theyre informative, but please do your research beforehand. Its great to get a second opinion, but I could tell the sales rep wasnt entirely sure what he was talking about. And thats when you can find someone to help.Most of the time, Im just walking around aimlessly until someone finally decides to ask me if I need help.Dont go to the Geek Squad for advice. Theyre more concerned with selling you their Tech Support plan than they are actually helping you and consulting.Other than that, the store is well kept and relatively clean. I like their new DSLR area, and getting some hands on with the tech. Great deals if you keep your eyes open for them.
Just purchased 4 appliances for our kitchen of a new home we are purchasing. They were fast, friendly and didnt push me around at all. To be fair, I did some home work before I showed up, but that was the positive, they could tell what I wanted and didnt try to up sale me. Was happy with the results.
Never use their credit no intrest they stoled hundreds by sending the bill late. When I called to say it couldnt arive in time they said we will wave the ten dollar late fee. Than they charged me enormous interest for years on a revolving line of credit every thing had ben paid on time but never totally paid off. So they went back years. And ripped ME OFF!
Team member was friendly, but wouldnt leave us in peace to make up our mind. Seems like the company is going hard on its team members for revenue per hour. Unfortunate, as I dont have a gripe with the employee. The reinforced mindset of sell sell sell seldom offers optimal customer service. Best Buy clearly values its profitability over customer service. Bad form.
The customer service here is amazing! They always have someone to help you decide the best product for what you need. If you are on a budget, they will work with that and find something to make both you and your wallet happy. Very knowledgeable employees and an overall great experience whenever I shop here.
Overall a good experience here and there was more things in inventory here than other Best Buy’s I’ve been to but they for some reason has an open box mac book pro overpriced by a $200+ difference from what I saw on Amazon and the specs was the same. Same ram and storage. Maybe the display was different? Confusing why there would be such a big difference especially on an open box.
This Best Buy location is easy to find near the intersection of Beltline and 28th Street. Very easy to spot from either road. Large, well lighted, and clean. Appears to be well stocked. I have gotten great deals on TVs here that werent advertised in print nor online. In fact, Ive often found prices lower in this store than listed on the Best Buy website. And theres no replacement for talking directly to knowledgeable sales staff. Id much rather go to this store than order from the website. Walk in and get it today!
My recent experience at this store was awesome! I went in with the idea of just checking out the Chromebook, and left with an HP Envy, which was a MUCH better choice for my needs. Marc, the Associate who helped me, was so very informative, and was able to offer suggestions and recommendations that were integral in my final decision-making process. I especially appreciated that he was never pushy, as can often be the case at some consumer stores. The one-year no-interest financing option that Best Buy offers, clinched the deal for me. This was a late night stop, had to get 5 IPhone 8 plus activated.The staff was awesome Alex did such a great job.It was a bit of process as I didnt not have all information fir Alex.He took charge had everything in order .We laugh talked and the job got done.Management was awesome alsoEhren went out of his way to achieve to get done what I needed.Thank you Best Buy for all the great help.
I came in with six clients two if which were looking to purchase portable DVD players. Since it was Sunday the sale price from the previous week had expired. Instead of disappointing my clients, your wonderful staff, saw fit to honor last weeks ad, as they had been quoted. All in all we left with three very happy young men. Thank you so much.
Its a Best Buy, what can I say? Great for if theres a specific item that you need to pick up immediately, but generally uncompetitive with online retailers, especially for PC parts, although they do price match. Store is always clean, although there is a vibe of the store being fairly barren and like its on the verge of closing
Caleb helped me with my purchase of a laptop. He was very knowledgeable and helped me better understand the features of the laptop I wanted and assured me it would fit me needs. He was very friendly and treated me with respect. His service was exceptional. The only thing I can think of that can be improved on is just the availability of staff (Caleb and one other associate were occupied with other customers so there was a bit of a wait time but Caleb did acknowledge me and said that I would be assisted).
The staff was very helpful and the store was very organized. The Samsung specialist (I think thats his job title), Johan, was kind and informative. He gave us honest reviews of the products and helped us pick out a device that suited our specific needs without spending a ton of money. Anybody with questions about Samsung products should ask for Johan, although Im sure the rest of the staff is just as knowledgeable. Great experience.
I stopped in to pick up a pair of headphones (Monday). I quickly realized the sale had ended the previous day (Sunday). I found competitor prices online thinking it would be matched by the Best Buy guarantee. I found several competitor prices (including the manufactures) that were at the sale price. I showed the on supervisor/manager the online prices (guy with short hair, scruff, slightly heavyset, and snacking on gum) and explained these were on sale yesterday, he was unwilling to price match or Offer any assistance. I went online to a competitor and purchased the headphones. The ironic thing is that today (Wednesday, less than two days later) the headphones are on sale at the price they previously were and what I was trying to buy them at. I’m disappointed that Best Buy employs individuals that have a lack of care or who are not customer focused. I will look elsewhere before dealing with store again.
This place was definitely good as far as customer service goes. The employees were patient, understanding, and well informed in the products they sell. They were also very efficient in the delivery process and if I had any problems with the products I bought, especially after the first TV they delivered was broke and they replaced it without question, which I sincerely appreciated. If I could give a downfall was that they did get my address wrong for some reason so getting my product, but they gave me free installation due to their mistake. I ordered a camera online using gift cards I received as a gift. While I was checking out one of my gift cards failed. When I went the next day to pick up my camera I had the pleasure to work with Kate. She was super helpful, positive attitude, and nice to talk with. She was able to refund my card the amount my gift card was suppose to be charged. I was very happy with her customer service. Thanks so much Kate!
I dont have much to say. It was a typical buying experience. I went in for a flash drive that was on sale. The place is laid out a with signs that you can see from the door. I had my purchase in less than 5min. We dilly-dally around and checked out the wireless camera door bells and left. Check was fast. The location was a little akward to get from if going thru the parking lots on 28th Street entrance.
Sales guys were friendly and not to pushy. The people who helped load me up where disappointing. They couldnt have been bothered to take some time to help me secure my tv to the back of my truck. I am days removed from a surgery and cant do much, so i had them help me load it. They placed it on the back of my vehicle and left. Just seems that spending a little extra time even a couple of minutes to just help me secure it wouldve set them over the top in customer service.
We needed a new router and went to Best Buy to see what they had. Kyle McAlpine quickly saw us and showed us right where their router section was located. He knew the ins and outs and gave us affordable suggestions that would perform well with our internet speeds. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It all set up just like he said it would and made it a very easy job. Thanks Kyle!
Whatever you do dont buy an insignia TV from here they want to see all their work out to somebody else that never calls you back and it could take up to a month or two before you get your TV back. the insignia brand is a Best buy brand and they dont even work on their own brand of TV so they will take your TV for a whole week after they beat around the bush on when somebody may be ablep it up to fix it. Buy on amazon they will return it the same day.
Always the best staff here. Security at the door can always let you know where to go and customer service has always resolved any issues I am having. Would recommend Geek Squad to anyone, they solved all my computer problems right at the counter. Such a wide selection of electronics you can get whatever you need here and there is always an expert nearby to help you if you are not sure of what exactly it is you need. The staff takes pride in this store and it shows.
Super impressed with these guys recently. I finally pulled the trigger and replaced my old projection TV in my rec room in the basement. This past weekend I go and pick out a 55 LG UHD for $749. I pay for it, they load it in my car, and as Im heading home I get a call from them that they have it for $100 less on the Best Buy site, so if I come back to the store theyll refund me $100. Wow. I had the thing bought and paid for and never wouldve known, but they told me and saved me $100 anyway. Ive always been a Best Buy fan and I will be for awhile.

2022-06-27This Best Buy location is one of my favorites! The guys in the cell phone area are always super helpful and nice. I came in to get my screen protector replaced, I normally see Brent, this time Chase put it on and I would definitely 💯 trust him to do it again. Ive very picky about the screen protector being put on correctly, he did a great job with no bubbles and no edges coming up.

2022-03-30First, let me begin by stating that I will shop at this store again. However, it is necessary for me to share with every interested reader that I had a very negative experience with the Tuesday evening (3/29/22) store manager. It is obvious that he lacks professional training. First, he did not wear a name tag. Second, and most importantly, he had no ability to display compassion or any level of sensitivity upon hearing my concern. Then, once he was confronted with being stone faced and disinterested in listening to my concern, he stormed off. Clearly, he has been appointed to a managerial position without training. It is hard to fault the store manager for not having the tools necessary to do his job if he has not received proper training. I feel badly for him; he is completely in over his head as a store manager. He would best serve the store and the company as a sales associate.On a positive note, Brenden, a sales associate who assisted me prior to the store manager, was very professional. He showed understanding and even stated it. He also shared that he was sorry for the situation. I am thankful that Brenden, a one year employee, knew how to deliver excellent customer service simply by showing compassion.

In a world seemingly conquered by Amazon, Ill always shop here for tech if they carry what Im after. The expertise and friendliness of the staff is second to none and they work exceedingly hard even when short staffed. 2022-05-13Incredible manager! After experiencing multiple issue with a simple Apple laptop repair, I was ready to never do business with Best Buy again. The Geek Squad manager got involved and after dealing with multiple systems issues in the store (and similar frustrations), he promptly took care of the issue with an upgrade. Even though the overall corporate and system issues were highly frustrating with several fails along the way, the man managed to regain my confidence in Best Buy and went over and above in the name of customer service! Kudos to Garrett.

2022-06-06Paul Ellis is the owner of All Phase services his Integrity surpasses that of many. If you need work done on your furnace, air conditioning he is the man to hire he doesnt overcharge for his trip charge and he will only fix what is necessary to make your equipment work and be safe for you and your family. I highly recommend and hire him whenever I need work completed. Trying youll never use anyone else he is the best.

2022-06-25My mom and I go here every so often to get a new screen protector on our phones. Its really nice because if you buy a screen protector from them and have the rewards program which is free they will exchange your old screen protector for a free new one. Now you could always go to the geek squad and they will policy put it on, or you could see if Brent or Chase the amazing employees that works in the Verizon department is working and you could see if he could put it on for you. They do the best screen protectors, with no bubbles, no issues and it only takes one try. But thats up to you.

2022-07-16Stopped by to look at cell phones for my mom. Ended up finding one she liked at a good price.. She had her new phone up and ready for use before we left. Customer service was very patient and helped her every step of the set up.

2022-06-12I had a less than helpful experience with Sean at the mobile counter. I had a friend that needed a a prepaid phone plan. Sean told us that Best Buy was unable to help with activation, but was able to sell us a Sim card for Verizon. Seems a little odd that Best Buy offers phones and plans but cant get the customer functional before they leave the store.

2022-07-23Their price adjustment policy is extremely poor. My phone decreased in price 100. BC I purchased 7.2 no adjustment given. When I need a new printer and desktop I wont be shopping there. Bye Bye Best Buy. Your policies are anything but satisfactory

2022-05-31Very friendly workers, was able to find exactly what I needed and easily find a worker to open the case. I like that they are not so pushy now. Unless they see you are trying to find something, they dont come up and bug you anymore.
