Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in other cities:
I currently live in TN and went back home to MI to visit family over the summer. I ended up at Betten Baker to test drive a challenger and ended up ordering one that afternoon. Di Teague helped me through the process of ordering a 2021 with loads of extras.I couldnt return to MI when my car arrived, Di delivered my car to TN for me! What GREAT SERVICE!!!I cant imagine having bought my car from anyone else.
We were VERY HAPPY with the deal that we got on my wife’s 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport. But I would also like to say that we made a couple of new friends there as well. Di Teague, and Drew Drubridge were AMAZING before, during, and after the sale.I can’t imagine us ever buying a vehicle anywhere else!
Outstanding customer service especially by Dianna Teague! Di made the entire process of ordering and purchasing a new vehicle a breeze. I never once felt like we were being “sold” something. She was very informative and helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend Dianna Teague and Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lowell, MI.
I have always been pleased with the service, care and professionalism of the service staff at Betten Baker of Lowell. From first call to completion of the needed work, I have been kept informed with a thorough explanation of repairs and timeline expectation. Don’t ever change...you’re top notch all the way!
Chad Gulch was my sales person. The vehicle I called on was washed and ready for me to test drive and go over it, when I arrived at the dealership. I was treated with respect. After the deal was made Chad over the entire vehicle including the owners manual. Grand Ledge Mi.
Dont waste your time driving to Lowell. When my lease ended and I wanted to buy the vehicle, they refused to help even though they could. I was told by Chrysler that the dealer would help at the end of the lease so I drove all the way to Lowell. They refused to accept my payment because it was too much of a hassle for them and told me to go to Mejier and mail the check instead.
Just purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited via the internet. Chad Gulch was great to deal with and I would highly recommend this dealership. They were seven hours away from me and they met me half way to deliver the vehicle. It was a very smooth and honest transaction. Thanks Better Baker Jeep Sales Team!
Great service. My wife and I were buying our first Jeep Wrangler and they were top notch. We had a customized order and they made the process easy. Their service when taking delivery was very smooth and we did not feel pressured for add ones either. We will definitely be shopping there in the future when the need arises again.
HelloI am just loving my new Jeep Grand Cherokee! It seems like every time I drive it, I discover some new little feature that I didnt see before.Dominic was super helpful! I had gotten in an accident and had no car at the time. He came to my house to pick me up! He had the new car all ready for me.The whole staff at Betten Baker is so helpful, understanding and kind. I would definitely recommend them for sales or service.Joni
I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee at this dealership. Brian Gowins helped me out and he was fantastic! I test drove two used Jeeps and picked the second one. My other vehicle was totaled as a result of an accident, I wasnt feeling well, and honestly wasnt excited about car shopping. However, Brian made the whole experience seamless and the car is in great condition. He was also personable but was not pushy for me to make a decision. Also, we went to some dealerships in GR first and this one here in Lowell had more used inventory to pick from. I will definitely come to this dealership for future purchases!
Dominic answered my questions about vehicle I inquired about courteously and promptly. He went above and beyond to help me purchase this beautiful truck He even delivered this vehicle so I wouldnt have to drive down to pick it up. I cant say enough positive things about Dominic. I was extremely impressed by his polite and professional demeanor. I would recommend him to friends and family looking to find an honest salesman. Thank you, Dominic, for working so hard to help me acquire the vehicle I wanted.
We love our new Jeep we purchased from Betten Baker. Dianna was extremely helpful and she did an excellent job following up with us even while she was on vacation. 😎 She and Chad walked us through all of the options on the car with ease. We were impressed with all of the associates that worked with us. We would recommend this dealership to our friends and new customers.
Our lease was about up and we knew we wanted to keep our truck so I reached out to my dear friend Di to help get us through the paperwork side of it.I dont think she made much if anything off this deal but she spent a good amount of time with us. When I get ready to purchase my next vehicle I will definitely be going to see Di.I recommend anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle to go see Di at the Betten Baker Dodge/Jeep dealership in Lowell, she will make your vehicle buying experience Great !
I want to recognize two people that stand out at Betten Baker of Lowell Mi. The first would be Russ Meis salesman and Allie, sorry dont remember her last name. She is the service manager. Both of these folks have gone above and beyond to make my time there very pleasurable. I went in about a year ago to purchase a used Ford 150. I talked with Russ and he had a couple for me to look at within just a few days. After making up my mind Russ made it very simple to purchase that truck!! He is very good at what he does. He keeps in touch on a regular basis, Allie goes above and beyond every time I have our vehicles serviced. Allie is so friendly and kind, She is a ball of fire and seems to have everything under control every time I am there. Thank you Russ and Allie for taking care of me. To whom it may concern: these folks need a good raise!!!
Dominic is a blessing! He made the process seamless from my vehicle inquiry to its delivery and beyond! Dominic’s colleagues who delivered my Jeep were awesome as well! This was my first time purchasing a vehicle out of state and thank you for such a smooth process. Oh yeah, my Jeep is even more beautiful in person! 😉
They were able to fit me in for an oil change on my Ram on short notice. They were prompt, friendly, and actually completed the entire inspection. ( unlike Crown Ram, in Holland, which only checks the boxes w/o actually looking at the truck.) Its a bit of a drive, but I will be back.
This was the second dealership I had been to test driving Grand Cherokees. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the vehicle and how personable Brian G was with me. He showed me how to use the controls in the vehicle and made me feel like I was right at home. When I came to pick it up it took less than an hour and the service was amazing!! I will absolutely be back for another car when it’s time.
We are extremely happy with Betten Baker. We went to four previous dealers and Chad Gulch was the only person to greet us. Not only was he patient he was very professional . He let us try all of them and answered all of our questions before we made our decision. We will be a repeat buyer from Chad for sure.Thank you Betten Baker, we love our new Jeep!
Brian Cowles is great to work with. He really goes above and beyond to help find what you are looking for. Besides being very knowledgeable at his job, he is very personable and you feel like you’ve known him for years. Overall, a great guy working with a great dealer and I’d highly recommend Brian and Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Lowell.
Dominic Rule was great to work with. Credit application taken over the phone, prompt response with decision from the bank and advising me of everything needed to get the process finalized. He drove approx 2 hours to deliver the vehicle in person. All of this was done in the same day.
Russ meis at betten baker dodge Lowell is the best . Been in the automotive business for over 30 years. Has worked in both the sales and service dept so he knows what it takes to treat and make customers happy . Have purchased multiple vechicles from him over the years and he does an amazing job . He’s a sales guy that when you purchase a vechicle from him he will be there in 6 months or a year or longer cause he is great at his job and doesn’t bounce around from dealership to dealership . He answers any and all questions you may have and if he doesn’t know the answer he will find out and get the answer for you . He has the old school belief that his handshake is his bond and when he says he is going to do something he does . Stop down and see Russ meis to purchase a vechicle and he will treat you like family and how do I know this ?????? Cause he is my father and salesmen
Value isnt just based on price. The care taken to find out what I needed, and the follow through from placing the order to delivery, was great. Very few issues have been addressed completely and service has been great. My RAM 2500 has done everything I wanted and more. All-in-all, I would rate the value very high.
Was extremely pleased with the two trucks Drew was able to find us. The experience was amazing from start to finish. I highly recommend calling Drew for any of your needs. The service department has also been great. Allie is top notch when it comes to the service advisory side of things.
Working with Dianna and the rest of the Betten Baker staff was great. From my initial online inquiry, to accepting the keys for my new Ram, everyone was polite, helpful, accommodating, and very attentive to my questions and financial goals. This was by far the best new car buying experience I have ever had and worth the 2 hour drive from my home. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a stress-free car buying experience.
Hands down the best car buying experience Ive been a part of!Bought my first car totally on my own from Brian Gowen (though Ive been a co-signer for a few others), and when I say it was a ZERO PRESSURE sale, I mean absolute zero. Brian was wonderful to work with, and was so helpful. A complete 180° from the stereotypical salesmen I had unfortunately dealt with before checking out this dealership.I have had the car I purchased through him for nearly 2.5 years now, and its been a solid reliable car the entire time (and I put 100+ miles on it daily for work). If youre in the market for a great used car and no hassle no pressure salesmen are your jam, reach out to Brian at Betten Baker in Lowell! 😁
Horrible communication..Ignored texts.Ignored calls.Received vehicle back low on coolant with air trapped inside of the heater core.I called March 16th and set an appointment for today, March 30th. Showed up to find that nothing was scheduled. That was worth driving an hour roundtrip to find out...
This was the best car buying experience I have had. Chad spent time answering all of my questions before I made my decision. He made me comfortable in making the decision and I did not feel any pressure to buy. The financing was quick and easy as well. Everyone was very helpful in answering my questions and easing any concerns that I had. When I picked up my vehicle, Chad again was willing to spend the time with me to show me how to use all of the features and setting them up to my personal preferences. Even after the sale and delivery of my car, they contacted me to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and to answer any questions. I would recommend Betten Baker CDJR in Lowell if you want a great car buying experience!
Probably the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had! Brady was great and so easy to work with! Love my new Durango! ***unfortunately I have to edit this review. They were amazing to work with until I signed on the dotted line. Make sure the car and everything is done before you purchase. If things change it is important to communicate that to the customer not lie and say it had been discussed. I still love my car but I also value honesty.
I had an excellent experience at Betten Baker Chrysler. I was in the market for a pickup and had found one I wanted on their website. Unlike many of the other dealers I called, the information on Betten Bakers website was accurate, the correct mileage was stated, and the price was below KBB. I called Russ only a few hours before I stopped in and he was able to have the truck ready for me to look at. He was very knowledgeable and had a non-pressured approach to the sales process. They ended up giving me a fair value for my trade and I drove home in a new to me Ram truck. Theres only one problem..... my wife likes my truck so much that she wants one. Looks like we will be heading back in to see Russ next year so we can trade in our Jeep!
If you are in the market for a car I highly recommend working with Dominic Rule at Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge and Jeep in Lowell Michigan. Dominic is prompt and attentive in his service to helping you through the process and will go above and beyond. Very personable and simply outstanding service.
Betten Baker CDJR was absolutely superb to work with for my new vehicle purchase. Vehicles are currently scarce due to the chip shortage and covid supply chain disruptions. They had two vehicles that were configured very close to what I was looking for - I called on a Saturday and reached Brian Cowles. He was very genuine, took the time to verify that the vehicles were on his lot, and provided answers to the questions I had about the vehicles. We made an appointment for Monday (they were a few hour drive away) and when I arrived, he had the vehicle pulled up and ready for me to take a look at while they appraised mine. After a short test drive, we sat down and worked out numbers. We reached an acceptable (and fair) deal for us both and signed paperwork the same day. I was trusted to take my old truck and remove the 5th wheel hitch and then bring it back to pickup my new truck. It was a smooth and pleasant transaction, with no pressure. The dealership is clean and appealing also. The finance person (Jerry) was easy to work with, friendly and effective. The salesperson, Brian, as well as the sales manager, Drew, both followed up with me to make sure everything was good and I was satisfied post-sale. Overall, I had a great experience and would strongly recommend Betten Baker as a CDJR dealer and Brian Cowles as a sales person!
My dad bought a new ram from them I was so impressed by service he got that I Recently traded in my jeep on a ram. Chad was an amazing salesman and was very honest even if he didnt know the answer to the question. Chad and the staff at betten baker were very knowledgeable and helpful during the process and very easy going people to work with! One thing I really appreciate is Chad even came in on his day off to go over and sign paperwork with me.
I highly recommend Dominic Rule for anyone that may be wary from past experiences!Dominic goes above and beyond for each and every one of his customers! Always polite, very professional, and making you feel comfortable and unhurried! He is completely knowledgeable and will guide you thru a fair and honest experience!!His number one priority is your SATISFACTION
When I was looking for a 2500 series truck that was simple, not a lot of electronic stuff on it but functional didn’t want a diesel because I would not be able to work it that hard. Found the Dodge 2500 with 6.4 liter engine, and Brian Cowles was a big help in acquiring this truck. The Dodge has been a great working vehicle, it has been to Florida 4 times and back and not had a lick of problems. I’am very pleased in the truck and it’s performance thank Betten Baker for your help. Regards Daryl C Anderson
Dominic Rule is outstanding in guiding you through the ins and outs of car ownership. He has a great heart for helping others and is a wonderful problem solver. Highly recommend working with Dominic and the Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram team in Lowell, Michigan!
Absolutely awful to work with. Submitted an online request, had a prompt reply from the online sales person, Brian C, the next morning wanting to connect. From there on out it was like pulling teeth to communicate with him. He lied and said that he called and that my voicemail wasn’t set up. He would go days without responding. The GM tried to lowball me for my trade. Vehicle that I had inquired about was no longer listed on the website and when I asked why received no answer. When I inquired on a different vehicle he never returned any further text. Ended up going through Courtesy Dodge in GR, getting exactly what I wanted, and $5000 more for my trade with fantastic service from both the online sales person and the rep I signed with. 100% do not recommend Betten Baker.
Purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon from Russ Meis in late August 2021. The process was smooth and he goes out of his way to make sure all customers feel like family. Jerry handled the paperwork like a pro and was able to answer all pre and post sales questions with ease including the unexpected 4200 check we received for our lease turn in when it was sold at auction. This was a pleasant surprise. Russ has helped me and my wife with all of our vehicle purchases my entire adult life from Vennen CDJR to Grand CDJR and now Betten Baker CDJR. It will be a sad day when he finally decides to hang it up but until then I will continue to buy and send people to see him. Local legend and treasure, Mr. Hemi.
Phenomenal Sales Experience. We couldnt locate the truck of my dreams, so we designed and built one straight from the assembly line. 90 days later and I have my newest vehicle. All associates were great. They didnt pressure me to buy warranties or extras. They were patient and accommodating, and while I do have some unwanted Chrome, the customer service makes it acceptable.
They managed to turn the experience of purchasing my first new vehicle into a terrible experience. I would look elsewhere if you value your time and would like positive experience with a dealership. This place mostly exemplified the reasons I don’t like dealing with dealerships.
My boyfriend and I purchased a Rubicon/Wrangler and a Mojave/Gladiator from Di Teague! It was a fun experience - she and the rest of the staff made certain it was a positive experience all around. Would shop BettenBaker again and will continue friendships formed during the purchase process.
Bought a $84,000 truck from Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.With less than 4000 miles on my new truck one of my valve stems blew out while just sitting in the driveway!I change out the flat tire with the spare and drove down to Betten Baker Lowell Mi - 15 minutes before opening time where I met with a service manager and asked if it were possible for them to change out my valve stem … Service Manager informed me that they were booked solid and there was no way possible they could squeeze in a 10 minute valve stem replacement… I asked not even an emergency repair and I’ll pay extra because I’m planning a road trip to Florida the next morning and I didn’t want to trust the repair to just anyone… manger stated no way possible could they help me out ( a customer of there’s )I’d like to say that this has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 50 years on this planet!I bought 2 brand new vehicles this year andBetten Baker will NEVER sell me another vehicle
I have gone to a few different dealerships with vehicle issues in the past year and will now always go out of my way to go to Betten Baker in Lowell. I just finished dealing with a complicated warranty issue on my Chrysler. I did not purchase my car at the dealership, but likely will in the future. Allie was absolutely amazing. She was helpful and informative and was very clear on what was happening as we were in contact with FCA. Allie and the rest of the employees at Betten Baker are fantastic and well worth the 40 minute drive.
I bought a brand new truck from betten Baker 2 months ago has less than 3000 miles on it. Im driving past the dealership in Lowell in a town Ive lived in my whole life. The check engine light came on so I pulled into the service department. I asked the service writer if he could look at my truck a service light just came on he said no were too busy were down to one mechanic. He said I would have to make an appointment. I said thats unacceptable I have a check engine light I either need to leave it here if its serious and have my wife come and get me, or you can do a quick scan and see if its anything serious he said I cant help you today and thats how he left it I felt helpless and very upset. I think this is terrible service from a dealership that just sold me a $60,000 truck. now the truck that I bought in my hometown I will not have service at and I have to drive 35 miles away to have the truck serviced at hopefully a better dealership
I have purchased 2 vehicles from Betten Baker so far. On both occasions, Russ was an excellent salesman and made sure we were taken care of. I was given a fair offer on my trade-in and I did feel like we got a good price on the vehicles that were purchased.Shortly after buying a truck, I had issues with the engine. The service department was courteous and got it taken care of immediately. Allie was very helpful and kept me informed on what was happening with my truck - no complaints there. I purchased the tire warranty and had a blowout due to an object in the road. They were very helpful in that process and I got my tire replaced under the warranty.Heres where they lose a star. I have an older Jeep Liberty that we use as a spare vehicle. I am doing some extensive repairs and need parts that appear to be dealer only items. Ive been trying to call the parts department for over a week and they have yet to answer the phone. I gave up and called another dealer this morning, they answered and I got my parts ordered.Overall, I wouldnt hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Russ. The service department seems to do well - Ive only had warranty work done so I am unsure on pricing for labor. I am not impressed with the parts department. I need around $1,000 in parts and wanted to be loyal to this dealership. However, when I cant even get someone to answer the phone so I can spend money here, it kind of ruins that loyalty. Ill be back for my next vehicle - I wont attempt to order parts again.
Just drove 35 miles round trip for them to not honor the internet price from their website. I felt the price was a good starting point for negations. Their comment, Were not sure how that price was determined. They started out about $5,000 higher. Brady, this is Dirk and Debby from Greenville. We are very upset at what just transpired on stock #R21253. Dirk will be looking at reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and any other entity that deals with such matters.EDIT: BBB Complaint#14767. I included a screenshot of your falsely advertised price.EDIT2: Charlie went out of his way to correct the issues that happened. We brought home a new Ram 1500 today. THANK YOU!!!
I bought a used vehicle here. I worked with Brian Cowels. I found the vehicle online and I lived about an hour and a half away. Because of the distance I had some special requests from the dealer and there customer service experience was amazing. I have bought many used vehicles, normally used vehicle buyers are treated 2nd rate to new vehicle buyers but that is not the case here. I was very impressed with Brain and the rest of his team. They made special arrangements for me and made the buying process as easy as possible for me. I would highly recommend buying a vehicle here.
Never again. Left tools in engine compartment on first visit.. Second visit was for damage caused by first. Was told their top tech handled it this time... ok.... opened hood in parking lot.... Told service writer to tell your top Tech to put all my parts back on Jeep.... left engine cover off and didnt seat wiring harness properly. Also found broken piece for cover laying by fuel rail. The days of quality service at dealers is gone!!!!!
I had an excellent experience here! Amanda was extremely helpful in talking me through the process of buying a pre-owned car and showing me every single option that might work for me on the lot. Brian was the one who eventually sold me my car, and I got an amazing deal. He was helpful, pleasant, and answered all my questions respectfully! Everyone I encountered at this specific Betten Baker location was great.
I work very close to Betten Baker and noticed several Dodge Trucks had come into the used lot, so I went online to take a look. I found one that I was interested in, filled out the credit app and sent it in.Later that day I met with Grant Davis; really nice guy, test drove the vehicle, long story short; there was nothing negative about my experience, it took less than an hour and 15 minutes total for any paperwork, test drive, etc.........thats my kind of vehicle purchasing.I absolutely would recommend the dealership.
My husband and I purchased our first Jeep Wrangler here with Tom. We had the absolute best service! Tom was extremely down to earth, helpful, and was able to answer all of our questions very honestly. Tom was very knowledgeable and very quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns we had. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone searching for a new vehicle! They all do a very good job!
I had really good service,up in til the car was sold to me and my family, the promises, that was made to us,all changed, didnt get all the offers promise to us ,at the time of purchase, u ask about it,they dont remember saying it,or they never promised us that offer,we also put down 5,000 down, even though we didnt have to put nothing down, but so we can pay it off faster, but as we find out later, it was never put towards our car,and here we are out of 5,000 dollars, and still paying full price for the car,I will never go through betten baker,or recommend no one to them.very much so unhappy, and unsatisfied customer...and we also believe it was a hurricane Katrina car,we have change our light n the rear end because it went out and found a larger amount of thick mud, that looked like its been there for awhile, and found the same n other areas of the car..
I found a car online and worked with Brian G. To get my 2009 Dodge Journey. It all seemed great he called my loan officer got me a higher loan, called my car insurance officer who was giving me the run around and got my proof of insurance that day. I went checked out the car and signed the paperwork less than an hour process. I thought it was perfect! I have been having trouble with the car ever since I got it. Break lights wont turn off, car keeps over heating, throttle sensor light on. I thought the low price and excellent service was a good sign but the truck has been nothing but a headache.
Not a reasonably intelligent service manager. We had our Jeep Liberty in for brake work as our brake pedal was pulsing (due to a warped rotor). The front brakes were done, and they said the slide pin in the rear brake caliper was froze from lack of lubrication making our rear pads wear unevenly. But they had 50% of the pad remaining. When asked if we wanted them changed, I declined. When we picked up the vehicle the pulsing was still present, and proceeded to get much worse. So we dropped the vehicle off for another brake inspection and wanted an oil change performed. They said nothing was wrong with the brakes, the rears were just uneven. In hind sight, I realized that if they had not greased the rear caliper slide pin the rear brakes would have worked properly for probably another 40,000 miles (as that was when we had them done the first time).Needless to say, i didnt have them do the brakes, so I paid for the oil change and left.2 days later, my wife complained that the oil change light was still on. Upon personal inspection it was clear they didnt change it. When I called them on it, they were happy to refund my money.Good service guys...First, if the customer doesnt want the brakes fixed, dont do something that will make the scenario worse, and if you have to do something for liability sake, inform the customer of the options and the repercussions. If someone drives 34 miles round trip for a $72.49 oil change and you fail to do it, make up for it...do it for free or at least discount the price.Overpriced. Typical at dealerships, but the service should be top notch. Its far from it.
Service Customer Beware! So to start things out and be completely transparent. I work on precision equipment for a living and build powersports engines in my spare time. My truck has the lifetime Maxxcare warranty.First visit was for intermittent overheating problems. The original diagnosis was that the truck was missing a fuse for the cooling fan. After paying diagnostic fees I took the truck home and did some research. That fuse location is NEVER used in the 1500 series pickups. Did some basic diagnostics to find that the cooling fan was bad. Took it back and they repaired. No compensation for the money wasted on the prior bogus diagnosis.A few weeks later my engine begins knocking. Take it in for warranty repair explaining to them that I believe it to be bottom end. They proceed to rip apart the top end calling it a bad cam and lifters. I went in and inspected parts at this time to discover nothing wrong with the cam. Being that it is being covered under warranty I don’t care if they want to throw parts at it. After reassembly they discover that the noise is not gone. The next step is to finish the diagnosis and drop the pan. When they do this they find that the rod bearing has failed and scored the crank. They contact the warranty company and the inspector comes out. At this time they decide to deny my claim. After 3 hrs of sitting on hold I get ahold of Chrysler. 10 min later after providing indisputable evidence they decide to cover the new long block.During the repair they somehow manage to smash out the rear window of my truck and damage my topper. They did “repair”the damage. Apparently the cheapest least effective way possible. The day comes that I can finally pick up my truck. After an hour or so of cleaning glass I am ready to let my kids in it. Fast forward to the first snow a week later. I put it in auto 4x4 and it spits off a passenger side CV shaft. This ends up costing me a vacation day and $3.50 in materials to fix. Next on the list is when I go to hook up to my trailer. I go to the back to pump up my air bags and to my almost surprise the air line going to the bags is destroyed. Another couple hours wasted on that repair. Now I have 4K miles on the new engine. Today I hear rattling from the engine bay. Further inspection shows loose fasteners. I believe I am done with fixing their repair now.If you skipped to the end...... the basic moral of this review is that I will push my truck past Betten Baker in Lowell MI before I EVER let them work on it again.
My wife and I worked with Sonya Dody at Grand Chrysler Dodge in Lowell. We were looking for a van and had seen one that looked interesting on their website. Sonya responded quickly to my website inquiry and was really helpful. They were happy to let us take the van to drive and to have our mechanic look at it. They went the extra mile to help us find good financing when the first CU changed their rates and policy suddenly on us.Grand Chrysler in Lowell had the feel of a smaller car lot with the advantages of a bigger dealer. The staff was all very friendly, they helped us get a good deal, they were honest and upfront with us. I would go there again to purchase another car.
I never take the time to leave reviews but I wanted to thank Bob (service manager) and his team. Its never a great time spending money to maintain and fix a vehicle but Bob goes above and beyond to make sure Im satisfied. Bob is great and communicating and keeps me in the loop with the repair and estimated completion time frame.
After having my personal mechanic check out a vehicle I was interested in, there were two future safety issues that were found on it. After purchasing it that night, Brian and his team had it fixed within two days, and completed it at no cost to me. They even had it delivered to my work!
Saw the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan online. Made an appointment for Saturday to go and check it out. I showed up on time and low and behold Brian the salesman did too.It was exactly as they said it would be. Clean and as represented. Wow, and honest dealership!! Worked out an equitable deal for both. We were out, financed and plated in about 2 hours on a Saturday!!!. These people and their employees know their business. They are old school people whos word means something.I Will do business with them again. So should you.
Russ is a great salesman to deal with.I cant recommend their finance guy though.Update... 3days after buying my new 2018 truck the check engine light is back on, was supposed to be fixed before I purchased. Its a brand new truck! Stopped back by the dealer today and the service advisor told me they just cleared the light to get it sold and was waiting for me to bring it back when the light came back on... Thanks for NOTHING guys. All around crappy service from finance to maintenance.
I called to ask about a car I saw online and made an appointment with Sonya to come in and take it for a test drive. I drove 2 hours to be on time for the appointment only to find the entire dealership staffed by one person. Sonya never showed up to work that day. Also, the car I wanted to drive was sold the day prior. Now, Im not upset about them selling the car. That happens. But Sonya knew I was driving 2 hours to see that car. I was ready to buy, i had a car to trade. She could of at least called me and gave me a heads up. The one guy that was working that day, he never offered his name, made no effort to find another car that I might be interested in. I will never buy from this dealership. I wasted 4 hours of my life. Dont waste yours. There are many better dealerships in the area.
After dealing with one Dodge dealer for over 10 years, he decided to retire after 50 years in business and sell his dealership. I find it very stressful doing business with car dealers and dreaded looking for another one I could trust. We saw a Dodge Grand Caravan on the web site for Grand Chrysler and sent a message to Nathan Stebbins about it. He would not be working when we wanted to look at the car but he insured Elizabeth Deubener would answer our questions. The car was waiting at the front door when we got to the dealership and Liz met us before we could get inside the showroom. Liz is not pushy but she is very knowledgeable and a very pleasant person to deal with. I received what I consider a fantastic deal as far as the price is concerned. Liz took care of all the paperwork. I did not have to go into any private offices and there was no pressure to buy things I did not want. I like the dealership and the 2 sales people I dealt with. We buy a new car every 2 years and Im convinced that well have a long relationship with Grand Chrysler as long as they do not decide to retire and sell their dealership. We live in Lansing and feel that the 55 mile drive was well worth it. Thank you Grand Chrysler. Dick & Johanna
I drove over two hours to go to this dealership, and I must say the experience was a good one for me and my family. I can honestly say they exhausted all options to get me in something brand new , but they assured me I would not leave empty handed. Definitely was worth the drive.
Custom ordered a wrangler and these guys beat the lowest offer I could find in the Grand Rapids area. In addition, they gave me a loaner car for a week when the wrangler took a little longer to arrive than anticipated. Excellent customer service, thank you Greg and Lauren.
I don’t know a thing about cars, but I knew I had some kind of issue. I called Betten Baker and got an appointment within 24 hours. Bob in the service department was really friendly &and knowledgeable through the whole process. I now know a little bit more about my Charger. I had a really great experience here. Thank you
I went there yesterday for an oil change. I told the service writer several times, that I wanted the mess cleaned up so I would not have oil dripping on my garage floor. I told him I would run it up on my lift and check. I took him at his word that it was cleaner then it was when I brought it in. WRONG!!! There were two oil spots on the floor of my garage this morning. One was from the steering and the other was the new oil filter was dripping oil. The Tec didnt bother to clean the dirty oil off the filter. On top of that they damaged my mirror moving the truck on to the lift. They said they would replace it. Last year they broke my windshield when they were re-installing the rear view mirror. The tecs there are careless. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE DEPTARTMENT !!!!!
We worked with Russell Meis. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and kept up to date through the process, which they made painless. We went to look at the new Bikini Wrangler. They made it so easy to take her home that day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you all for helping my husband make my dream come true yesterday.
We went to the dealership with hopes of getting out of the minivan [finally] and buying a pickup truck. Russell Meis in sales went to great lengths to find us just the right one, and we went home with it very happy with the deal we made.A few days later, a problem developed with a tire on the truck. I went back to Grand CDJ, and they swapped out the tire with a new one at no cost to me.This was my first experience buying with this dealership, but everybody Ive dealt with there seems first rate...especially Russell!
I had a wonderful experience with Grand Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Lowell. The sales person Sonya Dodyand Keith Koolstra are wonderful people to work with. This is my 3rd purchase with them over the years and they have always treated me with the up most respect. Sonya always knows what to look for in putting me in a new ride. I cant leave out the others all the way down to the front counter staff and the service department. They always acknowledge me from the time I enter the building until I leave. They are like family caring individuals that provide excellent customer service. I would refer them to the world. So that means I will continue to drive from Grand Raids to Lowell. I love you guys continue what your doing!
My wife and I leased a Jeep compasses from Chris Stinson earlier this year. Then I decided to go back and buy a new 19 ram about a month ago. Have had nothing but great things to say about Betten Baker but also about Chris. He goes above and beyond to help out in everything from the sale to delivering the vehicle all the way to service afterwards. Can’t wait to work with him again.
For starters I am not an easy sell but that being said, I wasnt sold a car. I ( we, my wife and I ) went in, told Bruce my price range and he selected several. He stayed in his office while I looked and let me drive what I wanted. I looked nowhere else. From the sales dept., Ryan in financing, service, Jerry in parts and the management ALL WERE FIRST RATE.I am 58 and have spent years at dealerships in service and bodyshops. I highly recommend anyone stop in and see them if youre looking for a new or used vehicle.Doran Jaffas
Where do I start? I refuse to go anywhere else for my cars and trucks. Greg the General manager is top notch no BS about it. Great deals, friendly staff. I lost count of how many people greeted me walking in the door. There is a reason me and my whole family keep coming back. Top notch establishment.
Walked in and felt like everyone scattered, any other dealership I’ve been to, somebody is always ready to great you and help. I had to poke my head into someone’s office to point me in the right direction to get new batteries in my keys. It just seemed like such a chore for this salesman to help me. I was told to come back later by the parts guy because the only people able to change batteries were on lunch, which was fine but I just felt unwelcomed there so I took my business somewhere else. I found Courtesy Dodge, Jeep and Ram in Wyoming on 28th street and had a complete opposite experience! The people there are incredible and helpful, I would recommend that place 10x over this one!!
I had been to Grand Chrysler previously and tried to work on a deal on a new vehicle, however I was upside down on my trade in. Grand gave me several options however at the time I was not comfortable with any of them.A few months later after paying down my current vehicle, I went back to Grand and they were just as helpful as the first time. Not only did they help narrow down the options of vehicles that would fit my lifestyle, they worked hard to find the exact vehicle I was looking for and within 48 hours, I had my new vehicle and was able to trade in my old one.I was able to drive a similar vehicle home so my husband to test drive it and it allowed me to complete the process much faster and around our busy life.Overall it was a very postive experience and I feel like I was treated fairly and they went out of their way to make sure I got the exact vehicle I wanted. Tom Antcliff was great to work with! And Keith the Manager helped make the final paperwork go quickly and smoothly.
Ok so my story starts with a search for my dream car I looked for months and finally found it in of all places Lowell Michigan (Im from Illinois 4.5 hours away) a small town outside of Grand Rapids the price was great and it was what I was looking forThe sales man dave Samra was great he worked with me for two weeks till I was able to get the time off to make the Tripp up he was friendly laid back and a pleasure to work withThen I make the trip to get the car THEY FILLED THE TANK UP WITH GASThey knew I was buying the car I had drove 4 and a half hours. But they still detailed the car and filled the tank AWSOMEThen came the time with the finance person if you have ever bought a car you know this is the worst part f&i people are usually not the nices guys thereUSUALLY Alyssa Davis was soo great she explained everything she was warm and friendly we genuinely enjoyed are time talking to her she had the paperwork ready she worked with us to make buying the car as easy as possible Ive never left a long review like this but they deserve it and my next dodge I will be calling even as far away as they were. Thanks guys we appreciate your great service
Allie was super friendly but the repair services were not any good. After spending 1700 bucks to get a cylinder misfire problem fixed and waiting almost 3 weeks I brought it home and my vehicle is still misfiring and occasionally stalling. I am never bringing my vehicle to this place for repairs ever again.
Over the past few years I have used Grand Chrysler a few times for some fairly big repairs on my cars. In all cases the service was excellent. Never did I feel I had paid too much or that I was pressured to pay for additional repairs that were not needed. The repairs were done in the time specified and I was called if they found unexpected issues. Ill be back.
I found a car online I liked so I called at 2:30 pm to schedule an appointment to go see it for 6:30 pm of the same day. I spoke to a salesman about the car and he said it was in great shape (I asked specifically about the condition as they advertised it as pristine) and he would have it ready for me (I drove an hour and twenty minutes to see it and he knew that). When I got there, he showed me the right side was severely damaged and told me it just happened on-the-lot. After pressing, it actually happened four days earlier and he never told me before I made nearly a 3 hour round trip. When I asked what happened, he said it was a little fender-bender on the lot with another car. He couldnt tell me where it happened, how it happened, or with what car it happened. Seemed really fishy and a total waste of time. I spoke with two managers who assured me they would handle it and find me what I was looking for. Three weeks later Ive heard nothing.
Bought a Nissan Titan here and Ive had to put about 9,000 additional dollars into fixing the truck. They sold me a lemon and are completely okay with it. I would advise not going here to buy a vehicle. Im still fixing everything thats wrong with the truck. The money is still piling up on this truck. Is a struggle to fix this truck. Once I fix something another thing breaks. DO NOT buy a vehicle here. Also they put tape on the dash board to cover up a indicator light for a low tire. Thats some shady stuff.
Loved that place. Nice friendly service. Bought a 2007 Chrysler Sebring from there and had an issues with it a week after the 90 day warranty was over but the dealership still agreed to fix everything for free. I definitely would buy a car from them again. My girlfriend and I live in Ann Arbor but I would drive all the way to Lowell to have service done on my Grand Cherokee or her Sebring.
This dealership needs to embrace organization and communication. I made an appoitnment to meet with a salesman about a truck. Got there and he had another person he was waiting on and we were ignored. They pulled up the wrong truck. We went over and got the truck ourselves to take for a test drive. Finally managed to talk to the used car manager and worked out a price and some repair work on rust Sakesman still too busy. . It was Saturday and we were told the truck would be read the following Wednesday. We were told to go get something to eat while they did the paper work, and this was a cash sale. When we got back we were told we ate too fast.We sat and waited another 20 minutes before we signed the deal and left the deposit. We paid for the car in full on Monday. We did not hear from them the Wednesday the car was suppossed to be ready. On Thursday took 5 phone calls, send to several voice mails, before I finally got the body shop person to tell me they were upgrading the repair and it wouldnt be done until Wednesday the following week. None of this would have been an issue if they communicated with us. Larry in the bodyshop was great . He set up an appointment to pick the car up at 4:00 today. He sent me a text to confirm.I called the used car manager at 3:45 as we were leaving to get the truck and was told. They were just now bringing it up to clean. (Larry had delivered the truck to them at 4:00 the day before) I thought I had until 4:30 he said on the phone. When I got there I showed him my text he said, Oh its just a case of miscommunication . I replied, Yes there has been quite a bit of that going on. Im just surprised because the truck was delivered here last night at 4:00, that it wasnt reaady. I texted back the body shop. Larry was very nice and apologized that the dealership had dropped the ball again. He said he wished he kept the truck and cleaned ithimself. When we finally gor the car at 4:25 they never even apologized. I guess they are not interested in repeat business. This was a cash sales of 7,500.The salesman who basically nodded at us will make a nice commission for doing nothing. (He didnt even go on the test drive. Did not discuss the features of the car.. he did nada nothing) It was the strangest experience at a car dealership Ive ever had. The saleman and manager acted like having to tell me when the car was ready was a huge inconvenience on their time. When I talked to the saleman he said, that the sale was done and I needed to talk to the bodyshop about when to get the truck (I guess because he had worked so hard on the sale LOL) I actually enjoyed the Body shop person Larry. I laughed about how they managed even to mess up picking up the truck. Apparently an entire day was not enough time to detail it. (Wash it and take the sticker off) We got the car with water dripping off it. The key to the car wasnt even on a key ring. Usually dealerships give you a keyring with their logo and phone as an advertising method. The only thing I could think of is that this dealership is not interested in any return business. There are many many car dealerships in Grand Rapids, my advice is to skip this one!
I recently had to bring in my Dodge van & we were leaving for a week-long road trip & needed my van for the trip- I was so worried I wouldnt get my vehicle back in time for service repairs, but Bob assured me he would only keep my van for 2 days to fix the issues at hand. Wonderful service & loved all of the smiling faces there!
I was looking to get out of my loan and into something I really wanted and felt safer in and russ helped me as much as he could. Couldn’t of asked for a better place to purchase a vehicle from. There not pushy like most places and are the best place around. Big thank to the whole crew there
Got a 2008 Saturn outlook from betten Baker in Lowell Michigan. Had it for exactly two weeks before I found out it had a blown head gasket. I called the dealership back hoping they could help fix it since I had just bought it they refused to help at all. Couldnt even help with a discounted labour not satisfied at all. Would never recommend this place for used car sales.
Bought 2 vehicles here in the 1990s and still have them on the road. We never get them serviced anywhere else. Also bought a Jeep elsewhere but bring it here for service too, as the service department is very flexible and helps keep costs down where possible. We trust these guys with our vehicles. Best dealer service department Ive ever worked with. I wish they sold Toyotas or Hondas though, instead of Chrysler products, as we probably are done buying Chrysler vehicles.
Grand Chrysler Dodge Jeep is the place to go!! Its a dealership you can trust!Purchased my wifes Chrysler Van from a Grand Rapids dealer on the north side of town, I live in Grand Rapids. Started having problems with gas cap warning light, check engine light and air bag warning lights. Took the van back to dealership for repair. After the $100 diagnostic fee they wanted $900 more to repair. Paid the $100 and decided not to have it repaired. Then took it to Steve at Grand Chrysler in Lowell. Paid another diagnostic fee but he fixed everything. Total charge $400.
Outstanding is the only word that describes Grand Chrysler Dodge and Jeep. This was my second purchasing experience with Keith Kloostra and his team there. It wont be my last.Service there is terrific. Oil changes are a breeze with everyone friendly and helpfull. My new car has Chryslers U-connect system (as did my old one). What a wonderful intuitive system. The driver information system is great. What a car.Brian Cowles was my sales person this time. Lowell is lucky to have such a nice place right here. Buy local, buy Lowell, buy Grand.
Rude service department. Claimed my scheduled appointment was the day before. Yelled at for parking in front of their service door, yet no one to open the door to pull in. Decided to just have my oil change and go elsewhere for other service. Emails to management are ignored. Poor excuse for a dealership.
I just bought a dodge ram there today on the 21st of March. looked at it and they could have at least cleaned it out. They said the detailed it earlier this morning needless to say they didnt but claimed the did. I will never waste a trip out there again. Plus the sales person had the audacity to tell me to come either earlier or later because they had a luncheon. Are you serious? do you want a sale or not.

2022-03-16Our salesman Chad Gulch was such a great help through the whole ordering and buying of my new 2022 Jeep Wrangler. Car buying can be stressful anytime, especially now during the pandemic but Chad made it relatively stress free. Chad was patient, knowledgeable about the vehicles and over all fun to work with. He took the time to walk us through the ordering process, so I could get what I wanted. Then took the extra time to make sure I knew how to use all the features in my Wrangler. I would highly recommend shopping at Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lowell, lots of inventory and great people.

2021-10-21Even though I live 90 minutes away, I stopped at BettenBaker in Lowell because they had a good stock of gladiators. I ended up talking with Chad Gulch for almost 2 hours and decided I wanted a wrangler 4XE. I ordered thru him and the sales process was flawless. Really appreciated the upfront and no gimmick approach he had. Truly a nice guy that cares about his customers.

2022-06-26Came up for Grand Rapids to purchase a used car from Betten Baker CDJ. Our salesman was Tom who was excellent. We had looked at a lot of vehicles over the prior two weeks, and had repeatedly been disappointed. But not here. Car was extremely clean, freshly washed, and waiting for us to test drive. Price was fair, paperwork completed efficiently. Got the car home, and the next day realized the back up camera didn’t work, and one of the speakers was not functioning properly. Uggg! We contacted Tom, who arranged to take the car back and provide us with a loaner car until they fixed it, at no cost! They even delivered the loaner car, and then the repaired car, right to our driveway in Grand Rapids (with a full tank of gas-$5/gal.). Great people and excellent service! Very impressive!

2022-01-18Great experience. Chad Gulch knows the product he sells, and is far from high-pressure. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and answered or obtained answers to all of our questions. I highly recommend this dealership, especially on Saturdays when Drew brings his dogs in. 👍

2021-10-22I followed Diana from her previous employer to Betten because she is just that good. I tell everyone to go see her. If I have any questions, I just stop in or give her a call and she helps me out. She works hard to make sure you get into the vehicle that you want.

2022-02-20Zachary Galle from the Betten Baker dealership was more than helpful assisting us with our out of state purchase. We were assisted with every step making it a very easy purchase. We enjoyed the complimentary gifts that arrived with our Jeep. After delivery we also got a call to answer added questions. We will consider Betten Baker for future purchases.
