I had to reschedule my appointment 3 different times and I still haven’t been serviced. I traveled from Grandville to your Hudsonville location numerous times because of staffing errors and nobody has been able to help me. My turbocharger needs to be fixed and nobody at your dealership seems to care about the safety of my vehicle.
My salesman Derek, was fantastic! He was very personable, answered all my questions or found the answer for me. Hes a great PR person for Betten Baker. They worked hard to get the deal I needed. Ive been going to Grand Buick and now Betten Baker for almost 50 years. Ive always had good service.
Briana Is the most helpful staff member I have ever dealt with at Benton Baker. I am always greeted well service is fast arrangements are made quickly, very happy!
Service counter people were friendly and knowledgeable...5star. Waiting room, clean and comfortable, but impersonal and cold. And TV was all ads, notInteresting shows like Cooperville or Muskegon..3stars.Car was ready on time, but not washed or driver side vacuumed like Cooperville or Muskegon...2stars.
I received courteous, friendly and informative service when I turned in my lease and leased a new Buick. Zack took time to make sure I understood the vehicle options and how they worked. He was patient and reassuring that I wasnt taking up too much of his time. I was recognized by the general manager from the previous time I leased a Buick and came over to thank me for my loyalty to not only Buick but to Betten Baker Buick Hudsonville. Received a great trade price on my Edge Sport and took that money to put a size-able down payment down on a 2020 Escape. When I signed the paperwork I added a 3yr warranty that covers everything from what I was told. Before I left the lot I noticed that the terrain management system was not working so they said no problem bring it back tomorrow and we will take care of it. Ive now made 3 payments on the vehicle and not my air conditioning does not work. Dealership has had the vehicle on and off for almost 2 weeks ordering different parts each time. Im now told Im responsible for over $600 in repair costs that are not covered under warranty. Super disappointed in my sales guy Liam who hasnt returned texts or emails from my about my frustration. I also had to purchase a new key since I was only given one after I was told he would get me one. $325 for a new key. All in all I havent been impressed with a terrible warranty and the issues Ive had in a few short months of owning this darn need new vehicle.
The Service department staff was very knowledgeable and timely in their phone communications for scheduling, work completed, and pick-up.

Scheduled appt on line, I heard nothing! After a couple weeks I decided to call service dept, And they didn’t answer so, I left a message. NOTHING no return call! I decided one last chance, so I called and actually got a live person. We scheduled an appointment to come in, great! Called this morning as I had some questions… no answer, we’ll see if they return the call or say they didn’t see anything come in and I go across town.

New Dealer location, first time there. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Waiting room was clean , and well setup. Only negative, minor, TV was on an advertising station,no good stuff, but wait was reasonable and WIFI Good.

A couple weeks ago i called this dealership for the first time. Wasnt sure what to expect because we had previously had some negative, discriminatory experiences at other Holland dealerships. On top of also dealing with extra pushy sales men too! I decided to give this place a shot, spoke to Brad* who was extremelykind, friendly & never made us feel pressed or uncomfortable! We bought my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 with the newer 3.0 diesel from here on May 29th from Alyse Solomon. We could not have been happier with her sales!!! She was very prompt on her emails and/or texts SUPER friendly!!! And every time I see her for my oil changes she still remembers me by name and will take time to chat for a few seconds. We saw a vehicle on their website we were interested in. We called ahead to.make sure it was available and confirmed it was so we got a babysitter and headed over. Two hours later we arrived and were told the car wasnt there but they had one similar for $8k more. When we said we werent interested they said the one we originally wanted to see was in Grandville. We drove to Grandville and they said it wasnt there. At the end of the day it was a huge waste of timeWe never saw the car we wanted and nobody apologized for giving us the runaround.

I pulled into Betten Baker in Hudsonville to look at a 2017 GMC Yukon. I met with Zach Brill. The Yukon wasnt there at the time, but Zach found where it was and sent me some pictures about an hour later.Zach is the nicest guy you would want to sell you a car or truck. Hes not pushy and wants you to get what you are looking for. He answered all my questions. If there was something that he wasnt sure of, he found out and got right back to me. I wouldnt hesitant to recommend Zach to anyone looking for a used car or truck.

Had a recall on my Lacrosse. Was gonna just stay in the waiting room and read a book since they said it would take 4 hours. Its in Hudsonville and I had no one that could give me a ride home since everyone was at work. But they offered me a ride home and when it was done they picked me up!! Now that doesnt happen often. The service was also great, so spread the word and come to Betten Baker!
I had a really great experience shopping for a vehicle here. The staff was all amazing and Tim Lawrence helped me find the perfect car for me! He was very friendly and got me the best price. Tim went above and beyond and helped me take out my car seats and other belongings to put them in the new vehicle. I can’t say enough good things about this dealership! I literally went home and bragged to my wife how awesome they were! Only had an oil change done on my truck but my service advisor Briana was top notch! Loved this wonderful dealership. They even have free golf upstairs and a coffee machine from Mars :-). Ive bought 2 cars from Casey Oakley. He is in the pre owned center. The best experience of any purchase i have ever made anywhere ! Casey was honest and thorough, he explained the vehicles and the process to me in a way that I could understand. He always stays in touch. Probably the best salesman Ive ever met. They were behind because a hoist was down. The bigger thing, when I went to start the car, it would not stay running and check engine light was on. They had not hooked back up the air intake. At least they found it and could fix it on the spot.

Ray Verwys is amazing! He offered an a warranty on a car and being that I was my first car purchase I was hesitant. He took the time and assured me and walked me through the benefits of having the warranty. SOLDI’ve now had my car for 2 plus years, this summer my car decided that it wanted to act up an in domino effect fashion! The warranty has been my saving grace! I recently began leasing a new vehicle from Betten Baker in Hudsonville and I cannot explain in words how great my experience was! I shopped around at a half a dozen dealerships in a two county area and was frustrated and disappointed with every place I went. I hate going to a dealership, stating what I’m looking for and what I can afford, and then having them push for me to get something outside of my budget or something that I didn’t want all together. But at Betten Baker in Hudsonville, the experience was quite the opposite. I would almost call it relaxing and refreshing. I told them what I wanted (and I’m very picky/specific) and what my budget was. The Betten Baker Customer service (Angie) was very good, helpful and responsive.As for their actual work and charging, this is my experience:My check engine light came on and my car made rattling sounds (3.6.V6L GMC Engine ) and had a weird performance loss. Went to an OReillys and they read the codes out (free service, no charge). Made an appointment with Betten Baker for diagnostics by a GMC certified technician . Result: Timing Chain replacement needed (Quote $4,400). The diagnostics they ran were reading out the codes (same results as OReillys) and confirmed the rattling (charge was $150). I took the car to another shop for the timing chain repair (their estimate was $3,300, all GM OE components included just like with BB). I just got off a call with the shops mechanic reporting that the oil was low, spark plugs and intake gasket needed replacement and the car drives great (he took it for a 20 mile test run to make 100% sure it drives great). Price tag $500.You judge.

2022-06-29Unfortunately, my car was giving an error message that the dealership could not reproduce, but their level of service and concern for me as a customer (even though I got my Buick from another location) was excellent. They were able to check my car at no cost (under warranty) and provide me with a loaner vehicle while they kept my car overnight. They also provided me with a shuttle service. The dealership itself was clean and nice, and I have full intention of returning should I require further assistance. Alek (? I think that was his name) was very attentive. Thank you!

Jordan was quick to respond and incredibly accommodating with his communication! I have two under two and he made it very easy to keep in touch, schedule a test drive, and ask questions! Throughout the entire process, Jordan was easy-going, he didn’t pressure us to buy, and didn’t seem like the “typical” car salesman (which we were SUPER thankful for!)! As a first time car buyer and being a female, it often feels that I am being judged or taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge. It was SO NICE to have representation while buying a car and this goes to show representation matters. 2022-08-05Reached out to dealership to schedule oil change on 7/19/22. No one reached out to me until I emailed the salesman again on 7/28/22. Dealership forgot to send a courtesy vehicle to pick me up at the end of the day after services were complete. Truck had grease on the door handles, interior & exterior, from the body shop. All mirrors & seat were moved and radio station presets were reset.
