From husband Mark: I worked with Zachariah Bogue to purchase a truck in January of 2021. I saw one I liked and was set to buy it, then tried a couple more and changed my mind. Thats where he was exceptionally helpful for me to get what I wanted. After a couple of days we found the right one at a dealership in Wisconsin and soon after that I was driving my 2021 GMC Canyon Denali.
Let me the first to congratulate Betten on Henry St. for there growth in getting larger, in fact now there so big, that I made an appointment for an oil change for 8:30 am, they had me wait until 9:30am, in waiting room, never gave me an update why my appointment time had passed, my truck was still sitting in the area where I came in. No oil change was done, so I told them I was leaving. Congrats Betten you did a great job in customer service. So continue your great job.
Be very careful here.I went a used car event. Long story short, I picked out a Honda civic I liked. They took over an hour getting me the numbers etc. There was no price/sticker on the car. During this time I did my own research with the VIN and found comparable models etc. I figured the cost should be 21-24k or less as the vehicle smelled poor and had a few little dings.They came back to me and had a paper ready for me to sign after they broke down the monthly payments. They conviently zipped thru it focusing only on the monthly payment and asked me to sign to agree to terms. Thankfully I was attentive and asked because they listed the cost of the civic as 41k!!!!They had the gall to ask how far off are the numbers and what they could do to make it work.It definitely could have been just a mistake, but buyer beware!!
H.O.L.Y... cow. We bought our first Cadillac, an Escalade. Got our first service done at Betten. Super polite, super easy to deal with... and after they have me back the keys I noticed my car was dripping. Apparently they have me a gun car wash when they were doing. Never had that before! Totally blown away. Thanks Betten !!
My good friend Joe a service writer always takes good care of what he can control an gets 5 stars but GM and part needed to keep my truck on the road gets a big fat minus 5 stars on DPF a exhaust issue under warranty with NO PARTS AVAILABLE, NATIONAL BACKORDERED BY GM to fix my new 2020 Duramax diesel with 7k miles ...
Very Few vehicles offered To persons with Bad Credit.They will work with you. But , They Dont want to.Numerous of Text messages back & forth promising Me something.But , when They found A Finance Company.They wanted way over what is advertised over the Radio & T.V. airways as a Larger Down payment$$$$Which is Difficult for Me or others to come up withAnd with the 3 vehicles they offeredA 2009 Toyota Camry.A 2010 Buick EnvoyA 2016 Kia Sedona🌟I couldnt make my own decisions on what I was looking atThe Finance Company makes your decision on what you possibly could afford🌟But , Listening to My Father years agoIf the Used Car salesman has his lips moving Hes probably Lying to YouNot too Happy with my ExperienceShopping elsewhere
The Service Department is fantastic and Spencer was knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They squeezed me in last minute for a massive oil leak and were able to quickly diagnose and repair the problem that was caused by a previous mechanic from another shop installing a used oil filter and used o-rings. Luckily it was nothing major, but I will be bringing my Kia to them for everything from now on.
They have done work on my car in the past when I hit a deer and I was very impressed with them! I have suggested them to many friends and they have all been very happy with their service. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I will always come back to them when I need any work done!
After taking my car to get oil change, the car wash was terrible and they dont even vacuum inside the car. Not happy with that kind of service especially when that is where I purchased my car. Only some associates are nice regardless of who is tending to you other workers should be just as attentive to any customer they just stare at us like we are nobodys. Top it off they send adds and offers and dont even keep their word just a bunch of bogus offers. Maybe I should look elsewhere for my future car. I am looking. But good luck to those who do. Looking for better offers who stand by their offers.
These guys are there greatest! Great purchase experience (two years ago) and impressive service at the service department - these guys make me seriously consider just staying with Honda and not even shopping around for my next car.I own a Ridgeline 2017 and have been do pleased with it, cant wait to see what their much touted 2020 model refresh will do!
Car developed a loud tick 2nd day we owned it. Took it in to service, was ready next day. They completely rebuilt the top end.Couldnt be happier with betten. 4th car from them.My sales man Jason Chester was all over this. Not only got me a loaner, but even drove me to the repair facility .
Never called back for fixing and replacing parts they promised....Id prefer taking my chances next time buying a car on a lawn.Absolutely disgusted by their lack of professionalism and honesty...Car dealers, am I right?$1200 in work and I bought my car 2 months ago and still needs more work.
Both my husband and I purchased our cars from Betten and found them pretty easy to work with. the man I personally test drove with was very patient with me because I came in looking for a replacement for a car that I had loved before totaling it. He was willing to work with my high list of specifications and offered suggestions were appropriate. The negotiations were very fair. Well both be back when the time comes for new cars.
I purchased the car on the 15th of April nice elves lady was wonderful hey and one of the managers I guess work with me and got me some awesome deals not quite the price I wanted to get it for but it was decent so Im happy and Ive been back second time just to check if thats a girl flower because I felt like when people reach out to you if treat you like a human being I appreciate that thats God so thats saying I would recommend any and everyone to go there and talk to Jean Knoll for help he knows shes doing shes outgoing and play so go and get you a new car and be blessed
Betten Baker was hands down the best at customer service and overall quality. I was faced with an unexpected need for a car and Jordan (salesman) took care of all details. He and all involved went above and beyond for me as their customer and I will forever purchase mine and my familys cars with them. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Looked all over Michigan for a great deal and Betten Baker Honda and Shane Watts had the best deal by far! Great experience with Shane, very personable and communicated everything with me every step of the way. No surprises he let me know everything up front. Worked with Adam on the paperwork end of things and was impressed by how painless it was! I highly recommend Shane Watts and Betten Baker Honda. Loving every second with my new car.
Cant take responsibility when the mechanics do some thing wrong with your vehicle. They tell you that they do a repair to the vehicle and charge you and arm an a leg for something that they really didnt do or fix on the vehicle. I would never again take my car there for repairs.
I am new to the Muskegon area. I had passed Bettenbaker a few time in the last few weeks. I stop in and talked to Joe Giannetti. He toke good care of me from the start of my appointment to the end of my truck appointment on Friday. I knew that the truck needed a little more TLC before our hard winter starts to come.I delt with the Bettenbaker family out in Grandville Mi. Always happy with there service. Now that I have moved here to Muskegon Mi I know I can count on the Bettenbaker family to help me here.Iam pleased to say that I am extremely happy with the job that was done on my truck. 2022-05-24Be careful of the loan team wrapping you up into a “required” extended warranty and GAP insurance.I would recommend the gap insurance to anybody but it is optional no matter what they say.Be sure to look over the electronically signed documents. Don’t let them rush you.If you have any supplier or employee discounts from GM be sure they take it off the price of the car. They used mine to cover their own expenses for securing my loan. If they were more transparent on this issue maybe I would trust whatever this reason for stealing over $1000 from me was but excuse me I don’t.If you have a problem don’t even bother getting in touch with Ben the General Manager. This guys attitude matches his image. He is cocky and full of excuses.

2020-02-25Everyone is very friendly here. I have now purchased three Hondas, one used and two new. There have a good service department and great salesmen. I stop in every so often and get a free carwash.

2019-08-10We ended up getting a 2009 Pontiac. I love it. The person who took care of us was knowledgeable and friendly. He took good care of us and we didnt have to do anything except pick out the best car for us.

2021-09-18Had service done. Easy drop off. They still havent fixed the problem. Washed my car for free. Bathrooms and waiting area have always been clean, but can be very busy.
