Comment: Awesome guys & awesome service. Driving from So Cal to Nor Cal and got a low tire warning. This was the second place we stopped, first place was not interested in helping at all (major brand tire co.) So we came across the Big Brand Store, (never heard of them) and basically prayed they could help us. Best customer service ever. Took about 25 minutes for them to tell us we did have a bad tire (side wall damage), but they were able to replace our tire and get us back on the road. They were crazy busy, but both employees may us feel welcome and would take care of us. Thank you guys. !!! Highly recommended.

A couple of razor blades lodged into my tire and my goo injection fix-flat system of my car is non-functional so bogeyed back to here where they replaced all my tires only 3 weeks ago. The shop was already just closed but they took me in and replaced the tire (shredding too big for a plug) in 10 minutes flat. Because I had the extended warranty, I only had to pay $26 ($150 tire free). THANK YOU guys! So impressed by your professional responsiveness. What a joy! 🏎️🛞🤗

Comment: Fantastic service from the team at Big Brand today! our car broke down on a Saturday in the middle of our road trip from Monterey to San Diego. This shop (Jack) is the only one who considered taking us in even with the weekend work day coming to an end. After the first few ideas on how to fix it didn’t work, they kept trying and had almost everyone in the shop working on our car. Miraculously, the car finally worked and we could hear the cheers of joy from the team. We are so grateful to all of them at for helping us get back on the road and setting us up with a healthy car.

Comment: The Triple AAA guy who put on my spare tire told me the flat would be a super easy fix. I come here yesterday to fix the flat with an appointment, they take 2 hours to call me back and tell me that the hole is too big to patch. It’s now 2pm the day before Christmas Eve, so it’s not like I can take it somewhere else now. I spend the $125 for a new tire, but ask for the other tire. Today, I find out that they were lying. The piece of glass in my tire was tiny, an easy fix, just like the Triple AAA guy said. Clearly, this place was scamming me for the new tire and were going to also sell my other tire bought a month ago on top of that.

Comment: Performed an unnecessary service without consent and refused to give a refund for several months.After many phone calls and obtaining the recording, they finally gave in but their customer service dept was not gracious about the event and never apologized for the dishonest sales practice. Extremely pushy salesmen and talk in a way that makes you feel dumb for not knowing the importance of replacing your brake pads ever 5k miles or running a transmission fluid replacement ever 10k.I’ll never trust Big Brand again.

Comment: This is a good shop for tires, and they are super quick with flat repair.Last week they changed my brake fluid and adjusted the rear brakes. I was even told the head mechanic was working on it.When I pulled off the lot I knew my brakes were not right. The pedal was so spongy it was scary. I brought my vehicle right back and they worked on it a little more. When I took it the second time the brakes were still not right, but they were good enough to get me home. I was not going to go back a third time because if they couldnt get it the first two times...I figured this was out of their league.Unfortunately I was right.I took my vehicle to my regular mechanic. They told me there was a lot of air in the brake lines - in fact there was air in all four lines! 😖Basically big brand tires was trying to adjust my brakes when they were not completely bled. No wonder they couldnt adjust them any more.No experienced mechanic would have given the vehicle back to me with air in the lines like that.So I would not recommend this place for repairs or maintenance AT ALL. Im sure they did their best, but it was #subpar and decidedly #pathetic for brakes.

Comment: I’ve been a big fan of big brand for years. I’ve gotten multiple sets of tires and many oil changes over the years. The last 2 times I came in, they lost my keys, calling me hours later to see if I had them.After my last experience, I decided to try out jiffy lube on Carrillo. They let me know the last shop I went to for an oil change stripped my drain plug. I called big brand to see if they would stand behind their work, and instead I was berated by the “manager of 30 years” after being told I needed an appointment, I made one online for later that day.Upon arrival of my appointment time, I was again talked down to by the manager, being told my appointment wasn’t valid because I made it though their online system. He continued to berate me in front of a waiting room full of people about the length of time it had been since my last oil change (trust me, it had been a long time I’m the first to admit that).Big Brand is a waste of time and doesn’t stand behind their work. I wasn’t asking for anything other than for them to take a look and fix what they broke. Upon leaving Big Brand I called Jiffy Lube back and they told me to come on over, and they would fix my drain plug immediately, for free. Highly recommend them for a quick, friendly, helpful service.

Comment: I went here a few months ago to get some new tires for my Lexus. They helped me find some moderately priced tires that were a fraction of the price the Lexus dealer was trying to sell me. Not only that, the warranty was 60k miles vs. 30k miles. This was a no brainer. They were kind and professional. I also thought they were very knowledgeable. I seemed like they knew what I was looking for without having to ask. They didnt try and sell me the most expensive tires which I really appreciated. I am for sure going back the next time I need tires.

Comment: I live in Illinois, I visit SB twice a year to visit my daughter. I am a 63 year old male and have a lot on mechanical and tire skills. My daughter needed tires on her car so I bought them on sale at big brand for 794.00. They suggest to rotate and (check alignment for free!!! ) every 5,000 miles. Nothing free but I fell for it as I want my daughter to have a safe car. The next 2 times I followed up lo and behold car needed an alignment according to them at $104 each time for a total of $208. Bingo they got tire sale money back. She has not had a rotation for 25,000 miles now and tires are wearing perfect.I also called them out on this and although the guy was very nice he had no comment.

Comment: I needed an oil change before a long trip and knew Big Brand was competitive and had a good reputation. I made my appointment and showed up early in the morning. I was suspicious when I arrived, the parking lot was packed and I had to dodge around vendors truck to even sneak into the lot.I checked in and settled in for a long long wait. Thats what Im used to from the dealer. I was shocked when they called my name an hour later. They were already finished and had me on my way.I hate those quickie oil change services, Im always getting a stripped bolt or some other issue that ends up costing me a ton of money in the long run.Big Brand is the perfect alternative in between the overpriced dealer and those cheap grease monkeys.

They finished the oil change and checked tire pressure and gave me a call to come pick it up 30 minutes later, and an hour before my scheduled time. They always have a few bucks off coupon if you check their website. I recommend Big Brand Tire! Be sure to get the synthetic blend with the oil coupon, otherwise they are losing money. We want these guys to stay in business!

Comment: Had such a great experience working with the guys here. They were so helpful in getting me an affordable yet comparable tire when mine popped. They were very efficient and pleasant. Offered a free water to me while I waited. Whole thing took about 45min-1 hour total. I will say that I made an appointment the night before and made it for the first appointment of the day, I think that helped expedite my experience because while I waited they got busier . Overall would definitely come back and use them again!

I drove here with my spare tire, and explained that I wasnt from California and that I was worried about the long distance Id have to drive.They were able to repair my tire, FOR FREE! They explained that I most likely got a screw in it due to all the construction in the area. They put the tire back on my car, and put the spare back in my trunk at no cost.Im so happy about how kind and courteous everyone was to me. A flat tire during this trip could have turned into a total disaster, but I was able to get to my hotel several hours away without any problems.Go here if you want to be treated like royalty! Comment: Big Brand Tire at this location in Santa Barbara has gone above and beyond for me-- specifically, a worker by the name of Delip Singh.On December 4th, on my way to my 4AM shift at Trader Joes, I and several other cars hit a large tire that was on the road. I had my car towed to this Big Brand Tire simply because it was the closest one. I had one tire go flat and its rim was completely damaged. At opening time, I called to explain the situation and a friendly worker named Delip assured that he would get me back on the road in no time. However, the problem we encountered was that nobody local had a rim in stock that matched my Fiat 500, and we were not going to be able to get one shipped until after the holidays.Both of us tried calling as many places across CA as possible (junkyards included), and all led to dead ends. Delip called to tell me that the only luck we might have is if we had a welder bend my rim back into shape. That didnt work out either. I was feeling pretty hopeless.After almost a week with my car in the shop and little to no hope of getting it back soon, DELIP LOCATED A MATCH 3+ HOURS AWAY. With this miraculous chance encounter... DELIP SENT HIS FAMILY TO GO PICK IT UP FOR ME. When he called me to tell me the news and said my car would be ready that same day, he told me as if it were no big deal (?!?!). However, I knew that this act of service was not in his or his familys job description. Shocked, I thanked him profusely and with his permission delivered him a huge tray of holiday cookies at BBT. It truly felt like a hallmark Christmas miracle!Delip and I went through so many challenges while trying to solve this problem. He did NOT have to go to the great lengths that he did in order to solve it, but he did and the impact is lasting. I will continue visiting this located for any services I need in the future!

Just due to time constraints I didnt get it serviced further that day. Comment: I usually get fantastic service but I visited last week on a Friday trying to fix a light I KNEW I had to get fixed, it was the wrong light bulb the entire time. I was not only questioned about everything I said but under-minded the entire time I was there by an employee I wont name. I tried to explain to them the light I had brought was for my turn signal and not for my brake(had a separate led lights to help my brakes last longer). A simple search on OReillys showed me the light that was installed was actually incorrect, but they insisted everything worked fine. Maybe it was just an off day for all.

Victor noticed the shocks were wearing out and let me know what he discovered when I arrived. I will return to have the shocks repaired at a later date.

Comment: Took my truck in because my tires and steering wheel were shacking and they told me I needed new ball joints which would cost 2,000. This was a lot of money to me so I wanted to make sure they weren’t just trying to rob me so I took my truck to two other mechanics for a second and third opinion. Thank god I did because both mechanics told me my ball joints were perfectly fine and that the shacking was coming from my rims because I didn’t have hub centric rings which are only 25 dollars. I would have thought that Big brand tires would have know this was the issue because they mainly focus on tires and rims but I guess they were more focused on robbing me off my money.

Comment: Wow, you guys are awesome! I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I brought my car in for an installation of a suspension lift and replacement of all bushings and control arms. The team at Big Brand on Milpas have completely exceeded my expectations! Victor was very reasonable, fair and honest when he gave me the estimate, and the mechanic Oscar went above and beyond installing the suspension kit! I’m so impressed with the quality of work they have done on my car! They did such an amazing job! I have gone to them in the past and will continue to take my car there for everything regarding suspension, brakes and tires! Honest, trustworthy, and quality work is how I would describe them. Comment: I am very grateful! I was a woman alone, nervous and clueless to what I was in for. The staff was so incredibly kind and patient. They handled it all, I didn’t have to do anything. I thought I had blown out my tire and was stressed on having to buy a new one, but they tried to fix it first and I was able to leave all within 45 min. They didn’t even charge me. Comment: The employee that assisted me was very attentive, calm and collected. Not all can manage this when they are back to back with customers and a parking lot full of vehicles on a busy street in the middle of the week. Yet he managed to not only maintain his cool but check on the cool of his fellow co-workers. As he would check in with customers he would check in on the workers, are you doing ok? He would ask an employee if they looked as if they may be overwhelmed. As he would check in with me assuring me someone was either getting to my vehicle or working on it. I was in and out in under hour. On top of a great experience he informed me I was part of the cool kids now with all the benefits big brand tires has to offer. I will be returning.

Comment: Everyone here is so nice and super helpful! I had picked out new rims and tires on tirerack.com where Big Brand is an installation partner. Im so glad I didnt buy online! I went in and worked with Victor, who patiently provided recommendations and various options. In the end I ended up with entirely different options and they matched the pricing on tirerack.com. Comment: On a rare rainy day in Santa Barbara the professionals worked hard and fast to get all the people like myself back on the road quickly and safely.The price I paid for 4 tires was $109.97 less than Walmart! And all the other tire places that said they would match or beat this incredible set of tires from BBT. Yet no one would match the price because of their low prices and standard things Big Brand offers their customers.I recommend that you go to the Big Brand site and look up your tires and research some choices before you call them. And recommend that you call and talk to one of their many professional sales people asking them about your choices. For me, I wanted a tire that gave me good millage, longevity and handling. After 20 minutes on the phone I was satisfied that the 4 tires met my goals and my budget!I think that the staff at Big Brand Tire are achieving their goal as a company providing the best customer experience possible.Everyone there was wonderful! Im thankful.And... I was worried after buying my tires that there might have been a lower price after a few days that passed before I went in to my tire appointment, so I went online (silly me I had already drove off away and got home) where I looked around and nobody could beat the deal I got! There were no appointments available on-line through the website but when I phoned I was able to get an appointment when I needed one.Due to Covid, the indoor waiting area was closed but I felt safe using the outdoor waiting area where chairs were spaced a safe distance apart. Comment: This is a good place to get tires and oil changes, but Id go elsewhere for other work. My car starter was wonky (sometimes it started, sometimes it didnt) so I asked them to check it out during an oil change. They told me it was fine. Im pretty sure they just turned the car on and since it started successfully, they said there was no problem. A few months later, I found myself in a tow truck getting towed to different place down the road (Classic Design -- highly recommended) bc the starter fully stopped working. Anyway, during that oil change, Big Brand told me I needed new brakes and brake drums. While they werent wrong, I got the work done for $200 cheaper than their quote elsewhere. In conclusion: good for oil and tires, bad for diagnostic work and overpriced for other repairs.

Comment: Mr. Singh and his staff literally went above and beyond to help me out of a jam this past week. I had a flat nearby, followed by a flat spare tire. Luckily we caught them closing up shop after hours and they couldnt have been more helpful. Considering the time of day, they saved me from a massive headache and at least one tow. Comment: This was my first experience at a Big Brand Tire and I cant say enough good things about them. The store on Milpas run by Delip Singh is so efficiently run and friendly, it is amazing. I showed up at 8 am on Saturday thinking maybe there would only be a few people ahead of me in line. There were probably ten and the staff moved through everyone with grace and ease (all while socially distancing).I just had a punctured tire and had not purchased my tires there and it was still FREE!! Comment: We came in early on Sunday to get the tires checked, which is a complementary service. We understood that the service was in order to attract new clientele, so we thought we give them a try. After being told it would only be an hour wait, we decided to walk to a local coffee shop and come back. Once we return after an hour, we realized that it hadn’t been worked on and that it was going to be a much longer wait. When we asked for the keys back, we were informed that they were in the vehicle but to wait until they were wrapping up their paying customer & said they’d ask the technician when it’s be worked on. After they were finished with the customer, we were just told that the keys were in the car without being worked on. Really poor customer service. If this was their attempt to attract new customers, would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

Super helpful on the phone and very professional, Victor and the guys were all amazing. Comment: The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. My (six year old) soon and I arrived after 5pm with a flat tire. They provided cold bottles of water, and a cool, calm waiting area. Everything was well explained, and the tire was patched at no charge. There was no unnecessary hard sell to get a new tire. I would not hesitate to go again, or to recommend it to others. Staying open until 6pm was the key factor for us today, but the excellent service would definitely send me back!

Comment: Thanks again for patching my tire. Nothing puts a bump in your day like getting a screw or nail in your tire. Luckily Big Brand Tire saves the day. I got a screw in my tire today and was all bummed out about it then I remembered Big brand fixes those free. So I went over to the shop and it was already after 4 when I got there. I walked in and right away Ricky says he will be with me in just a moment as he was helping another client. So I explained to him that I picked up a screw and asked if he could grab a pair of pliers to see if we might get lucky and pull it out without a leak. Unfortunately soon as he pulled it out the air started whistling out. Then he looked at the tires and saw that they might be a little old and said if they were over six years old he would not be able to patch the tire I said well let’s cross our fingers and hope you can. I went down the street to take care of some business and grab a bite to eat I was back maybe an hour later and the car was ready with the original tire patched and back on the car. I thanked Ricky for his help and asked who did the job so that I could give them a 20 dollar tip. Another great experience at Big Brand tire store.

Comment: Not even a good experience at all!! I made an appointment for an oil change for 11:30am and even showed up 20 minutes early and they didnt touch my truck until about 2 and a half hours later. By the time they finally got to my truck, finished my oil change and cashed me out it took almost 4 hours!! Unacceptable specially for just an oil change. None of the workers there took their time or cared enough to let me know while I kept waiting or even apologized at all. Another thing is when youre standing at the counter trying to get help and theres a worker on one of the computers almost facing you they dont even acknowledge you at all. Not even to ask you to wait and that they will be right with you. Other workers pass right in front of you and they dont greet you or ask if you need help either. You get ignored constantly. Ive been a customer for a few years but its time to find a better place that can appreciates customers better.

Comment: Amazing customer service!!!! I realized last night at about 6:30 that my tire was quickly going flat due to a nail puncture. I made the decision to drive to Big Brand, where I had purchased all of my tires, and leave my car there overnight since they closed at 6. However, when I arrived, I saw an angel of a worker named Sam who was still in the building. I gave him a little wave, and he unlocked the door to speak with me. I told him my situation, and not only did he say I could leave the car there overnight, but he opened up a garage so I could pull it into a bay. I got a call this morning that it was repaired, no charge. Fantastic! To my surprise, when I arrived to pick it up Sam was there. This guy is working hard. If you see him, please give him a high-five for me!

Then he had a problem with his system (seems to happen every time I call), so he transferred me. Then I was put on hold with the other guy because it was really busy at the store location. Fine, I understand that. So I waited...and waited...and waited. While I was on hold, they gave away my appointment slot that the other representative promised me. I was on hold long enough to rearrange my days schedule. So I was frustrated when I got back on the phone and told the guy that and he said I was shouting at him. Are you kidding me?!
