Comment: Big Brand definitely earns their 5 stars and then some!They are the only mechanics I totally & completely trust with my car.I took my car in to have it checked out to see if it was safe to drive after hitting multiple large rocks on the road during a storm. They noticed it had put a large bulge on the side of tire and it needed to be replaced.I called the warranty I had through the dealer and was happy to learn I could get it taken care of at Big Brand and the warranty covered the cost. Such a relief to have it fixed and back out on the road again.So thankful for all the help I received from them to get it all taken care of.They always go above and beyond everytime I take my car in for work.I would highly recommend them.

Comment: I went there this morning and needed a diagnostic check since my engine light came on. I was attended and greeted and checked in with no issue by the first gentleman. As a woman I already feel at a disadvantage walking into a tire shop and its.hard to trust quotes due to past experiences. When another gentleman came in he quoted 180 for the diagnostic run which to me seems very excessive compared to other places. I always do my oil change services here with no issues or price gouging. However this is the second time this has happened to me at big brand.

Comment: Pretty good place. Would only recommend doing things involving tires here. Told them to do a suspension check for weird noise on my car and they said everything was fine. Took the car to a mechanic who told me that my lower control arm was missing a bolt and could have fallen off. So ya only good for tires and alignment. Anything else, take it to a mechanic.

Comment: I sent my mom over to get 2 tires and an alignment. I had never been to this store and I couldn’t go because I was working. I was worried that my mom would be over charged because she doesn’t speak english very well and deals with mental and physical health conditions.We got the tires installed and my mom gave a glowing review about how well she was treated. I checked the invoice and she got a great deal, they even checked her brakes and topped off her fluids! I called Hector the service manager and told him how much I appreciated how well they treated her.If you can trust a business to take care of your mom when you aren’t around, that’s a business worth supporting. I’m happy to say I will be shopping here in the future.

They are extremely curtious and friendly, not just to me, but also the rest of the customers that were shopping while I was there. The tire change service team is also very quick, I wasnt waiting to long for the Suburban to be worked on and finished. Mike took care of me my last visit and he did everything right while I was there, hes a good dude and I appreciate his help. He was really great helping me load/unload etc.What I didnt appreciate was I asked them to be careful with my freshly polished 3 piece Japanese wheels. They werent perfect but the condition i picked them up in was definitely not what I had expected.They honestly did a better job dismounting the tires than mounting them. I picked them up to find all wheels scratched where they used a tool to seat the tire. It also looks like the lips were face down at some point.The scratches and chips are deep enough to where I have to refinish the wheel lips and cant just clean and polish so thats really disappointing and frustrating especially when I know it can be done and has been done.Again I should have known better..What really made me upset was the fact that my wheels sat outside against a wall unattended or supervised ALL DAY. I know this because they were spotless when I dropped them off and they were caked with dust and dirt (It was windy today) like they had been sitting there since they finished. When I came to get them at the end of the day they were still sitting there.My other thought was at any point someone could have walked off with a set of wheels and tires that are fairly valuable ($2500-3000). That to me is unprofessional, why would you leave a customers product out in downtown oxnard? The shop is busy and no one is there to baby sit (as expected) so why not leave them in back or in the garage where there was plenty of room?Just a really disappointing experience, not sure who actually handled the wheels but if you value your wheels like I do you wont take them here.If your not concerned with the look of your wheels youre probably fine but I unfortunately wont be back here again.

Comment: Oxnard location is always a pretty good experience. Just got a set of 4 tires for my RAM that i didn’t expect to buy, but recommended by manager. Glad i did because they were less than what i came in wanting and look and drive great! The guys that work there are good at what they do, up front, very friendly, and plain speaking. Not sales driven. I have also noticed that my last several trips to the S. Oxnard BIG’s brand location, the wait time estimation they give you has been LESS than the actual wait time. With the exception of weekends and holidays, you’ll be out of there with what you want and less time than you may think. I would recommend this location for anyone looking to get a variety of services for good price, same day. from local pros.

Comment: Got great, friendly, informative service from Octavio and Tony and the team @Big Brand tires. Needed to get my brake pads swapped out and rotors resurfaced, one of my rotors was pretty bad and I had a feeling it was going to need to be swapped out, they took the time to take the depth of the surface ware to try to save it from being swapped but it was too far gone. Also, being in a similar industry, they were happy to show me after taking the rotors off where the ware was showing and needing resurfacing for the backs which I originally thought were fine from a quick look myself. Also stayed late after closing to finish the job, and pulled some tricks of the trade to save me some cash! Great deal and great service all around. I’ll be back for sure.

I was greeted and checked in by Octavio (Store Manager) he said there was a couple of cars before me so it would take about an hour or so. I stayed and waited for my service to be done. Midway Octavio advised me that I needed a brake flush, I was crunched with time but he managed to get it done within 20minutes. I was impressed. I was out of there in 1hr and 20min. However, I’m so happy I did stop! The service reps were very polite & took my car in right away. Comment: Came in for an appointment at 9:15, checked in at around 9:23 because of a small line. Understandable since it takes a lot of explaining for the costumers to know whats going on and what not but a separate kiosk for appointments wouldve been nice. Anyways, I was helped by Oscar Robles and he gave me a brief rundown on what was wrong with my vehicle and he gave me a timetable on whats going to be needing a replacement in the future. I needed an alignment and new tires. He gave me a comparison of a few tires he had in stock and what they would cost, very transparent that they were used and how much mileage they had. Overall very helpful.

Oscar notice that I had warranty on the tires that I purchased last I was there and it covered the flat tires. Comment: I’ve been a satisfied customer for over 5 years now and want to share my latest experience. Friday I was running errands in town and found that my front tire was low. I immediately called Big Brand Tire and explained my situation. I was told to come on in and they’d check my tire. Well, it was going home rush hour traffic and it took me at least 10 minutes to get to the shop. I pulled in, parked and went inside the office. Oscar came to the desk and I explained that I had already called in about a low tire. He was so helpful. Took my keys, moved the car to an empty bay. Within 10-15 minutes he was back and told me that my tire was only low a few pounds and he filled it and checked the others. Then he explained that I have tires that will look flat.Oscar was so helpful, was very gracious and knowledgeable.I just wanted to share this one experience. All my others have been the same. Everyone at Big Brand Tire is considerate, helpful, and kind. That’s why I keep going back.

Comment: I went in to get my oil and sparked plugs changed. This was the second time visiting the store (I changed my oil and did the alignment the first time) and the service was just as great! The store manager Juan assisted me and he did a great job Getting me in and out as quickly as possible. They were even nice enough to make sure all my fluids were topped off before I left. Comment: Oscar took such good care of me. The store is clean and friendly. I didnt have to wait too long. I iwas there for ties but inquired about winddhield wipers because one of minr was bafld and it was raining. But I couldnt afford them. When I was told the price I started to cry. Im disabled and on a fixed income. Oscar noticed my distress and took it upon himself to put two new windshield wipers on my car at His cost. Such a small act but he made me a loyal to Big Brand Tire customer for life! What a wonderful Holliday gift from Santa Oscar.

Comment: First time at BBT in Oxnard and I want to thank everyone from the front of the shop to the back of the garage. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, courteous and willing to answer my questions. The quote was explained and approved prior to starting the work. They had to spend extra time on my car to get it right. The price at the end was exactly what they said in the quote.Yes, they are busy. Yes, you will probably wait a bit longer than you want... but being the best around means people keep coming back to them. Comment: They are dishonest at this location. My truck had an air leak and went totally flat. I had to call AAA they came to air it up. Since I live across the street from them I went there instead of my normal place to get my tire plugged/ patched. They said 1hour to 1 and a half hours due to being busy. After almost 5 hours i called them to see what waa going on they said the hole was too big to plugged and they could not repair my tire. So I had them air my tire back up and I took my truck across town to my usual tire repair place and litterely within 20 min my tire waa plugged and was on my way. That was just over 2 weeks ago.

Comment: My experience here was not so pleasant. I was towed in with 1 flat tire and quoted $203 for the tire and putting the tire on . I had no choice but to go with the work. After waiting for almost 1 1/2 hours I asked Oscar how much longer will the wait be? Oscar then asked Miguel if he could check on my car. Miguel then stated her car is next worth addressing me at all . I said thank you and walked away, as I walked away I could hear Miguel asking Oscar did she have an appointment? I dont understand why he didnt simply address me while I stood at the counter . His customer service was horrible .I would not recommend this place to anyone who only needs a tire replaced .They are extremely over priced and the wait times are ridiculous.

Comment: Beware of the pricing over the phone if you buy tires online. They tried to add unnecessary tire balancing procedure (beyond basic tire balance) without explaining the difference, offering lower cost option, or explaining where a mysterious weight charge for the lead balance weights was coming from. They took off extra after internet company called them to clarify. Service was great otherwise- guys working hard are doing their best!

Comment: I ordered my tires online and made an appointment for installation saving me an extra $40. The guys that work there are professional and very nice. They are very busy so it took over 2 hours but they have free wifi and I took a walk to pass the time. There are stores and restaurants very close by to pass the time while you are waiting. I researched online before making my tire purchase and this was by far the best deal. I am very happy with my decision and highly recommend Big Brand Tire.

Comment: My 2014 Q50s needed brakes, after couple of days of searching and reading reviews from different shops near my location (oxnard) The Big Brand Tire convinced me, so decided to bring my car here. Before dropping off my car, I called and made an appointment also asked them how long would it take them to do the brakes, since that day I would start working until 12:30pm, they said about 2 hrs. to complete brake service therefore I agreed & appnt. was made for (3/30/18 @9:30am) feeling confident they would keep their word and try to finish my car at promised time.. long story short I lost 2 hrs of work because they didnt finish my car on time, I had to take an uber to work and come back during my lunch (4pm)to get my car back. On top of that the following day, the right rear wheel/brake started making a noise which my car never did before. I know its very common on new brakes and rotors to make that noise, but to be on the safe side I called them on the matter they said to bring back to inspect it, they said that happens here and there, that it was safe to drive around but to still bring it back for inspection. I did thinking they would prioritize it since all they had to do is check on that wheel/brake was fine,but no I needed to wait at least 1 hr before they would get to my car. I couldnt wait because of my work schedule, so I left to work. I was driving around and the noise would not go away, finally today (4/5/18) showed up at 7:30am time they open business I was told their mechanic comes to work at 8:45am, therefore I left. Naturally with the urge of the matter came back at 8:30am so that finally they were going to inspect on my car but it would take them 45 mins before they would get to it because there was 1 car already being service.. I hate to say this but it was a bad car repair service I had.. Lost 2 hrs of my work, plus 3 times I had to go back for the noise..

Comment: I have never been a customer here, but I need to write this review. I was around the corner, trying to get dinner for me and my kids, when air just starts oozing from my drivers side rear tire. I already had a scheduled appointment to get a brand new set put on with a different auto port, but Juan, the manager, and Tony didnt care about that. They only cared about me and my kids safety. Tony took good care of me. I was trying not to panic. He took my old tire off and put on my spare. He also checked tire pressure and gave me some advice about my spare. They saved the day for me. I would also like to mention that they were already CLOSED for business when they did all this for FREE. They were my blessing today. Im grateful and I will remember their shop the next time I need tires. Thanks guys!!!

Comment: 10/10 Outstanding service! Had an AMAZING first time experience. Christian Chavez helped me today. Hes definitely made me a lifetime customer! He explained to me what Big Brand Tire is all about/ stands for as a company and how he cares about my safety. He also tought me how my brake pads and roters function and how to best ask questions in the future. I have been taken advantage of many times by other companies, I wasnt sure where to go until a close friend reccomended Big Brand Tire, as an honest company and a place I can trust. Comment: This will be the last time I go to a big brand tire store. Every time I come to their store it takes forever for them to get my tires done. This time I needed two tires changed and now Im the last person waiting and people came in behind me and have already been taken care of. Not sure why... But it has been 2 hours now and there are three guys standing at the counter laughing and carrying on while I still wait. I feel as if they arent concerned with repeat business once they get your car they got you. Its really a shame. No idea why they have such a high rating. Roadside assistance recommended I get the tires checked at Big Brand Tires since I was in Oxnard. There were several people ahead of me and I was worried I would miss my flight.
