Imagine my surprise to receive a quote within 1/2 hour of submitting the request. Brad Kiefus and Jowell Mariano are the absolute best! They are very responsive and patient with questions. Comment: Two stars because the Tech did a good job. I will not be using Big Joe again. Just a highlight of some of the issues. After calling for service it took 2 weeks for hear back, they said sorry we forgot. My call was to have my lift cylinder seals replaced, the Tech came out and looked at the cylinder and said you need new seals, left and charged me $650 to tell me what I told them. The Tech tells me a couple days to get the parts. Another 2 weeks go by and I get a quote, I ok the quote. Another 2 weeks go by and again I was told, sorry we forgot. Tech arrived with 1 of the 2 seals needed. Another delay. For unknown reasons the 3rd bill was sent to an unmonitored email address, when all other email were to me. Be ready for unnecessary delays and lots of charges.

Comment: The repair group is the best! We have an old American Lincoln sweeper our sanitarian has used for years. It is one of the those machines that are irreplaceable. Big Joe, with three technicians, repaired the sweeper after we found the needed parts. They never gave up and we are super happy to have that old dog operational.

Comment: We have an antiquated walky stacker that needed work. We called a few companies but it was Big Joe Handling Systems that were able to figure out the issues and get it fixed. They admitted it took a little longer than they had anticipated because of the age and condition of the lift. But Steve took care of it and at the end of the day we got what we needed, a working walky stacker and they were amenable about negotiating the cost of labor and parts with us. That doesnt happen very often. Thats what makes a good relationship and builds business. Ill refer anyone I know that needs this kind of service to Steve and Big Joe.

Comment: Everything went fine until I went ahead and sent a check. There was confusion on when to deliver. Someone called and wanted to deliver on Friday after I specifically said not to deliver on Fridays. They said they would deliver the following Monday but never showed up until the following Monday. Your end had prepped the wrong model. When I did receive the right item, the charging connectors werent matched from the battery to the charger. Still waiting for someone to come out and fix that.

Comment: Renters beware. In 25 years in business I’ve never been this up charged.Was charged literally thousands of dollars because some extremely minor damages like “dings” on the wheel or seat. Wasn’t expecting to pay triple of what ever it costs to fix . They charge you what ever they feel like. The cost Paid was probably 25% of what the rental was even worth. They were never serviced EVER. Then expect you to pay for things going wrong when they never get serviced, or cared for, or checked on, ever. They didn’t want to work with me at all and could care less that I’m pulling all my rentals after doing business for a long time. Keeping your customers happy is extremely important, not the most effective thing to do when we rent up to 10 units a month from different places. Working with me could have saved you a HUGE renter in the area that has been renting units for over 25 years. A business that pays for almost the value of your lift in a YEAR.Would not recommend. Unfortunately for them their reviews reflect how they run their business. Feel free to reach out and make it right.

She is really kind and understanding and so helpful. Brad is also super helpful.Thank you to the Big Joe team for taking care of us and making sure we had everything we needed.

Comment: The worst place to deliver. they assume that truck drivers have some magical powers that they can back up any where.No matters, there is room or not. all over their fork lifts and two, three delivery trucks are parked.very narrow way to go through. more chance to hit your truck left or right.. This place could be good for 5 ton trucks but for sure not for a 53f trailer.here is a picture of the entrance, you can guess yourself.

Comment: I had to deliver a load and for me, the service was great, they got me unloaded in a decent time. However, this is a very tight place to get into, they had forklifts all around and pallets, so having to blind side back in and watching out for forklifts and other material was quite difficult and thankfully the guy before me helped me get in without incident. Other than that, it wasnt bad. They just need to clean up around the place and be more truck friendly.

Comment: I called to get a service over the phone and I was told that the service call would cost 75$ and that labor and parts would cost seperate. That was fine, I gave them the green light. The tech was only at my warehouse for one hour and didn’t even fix the problem and didn’t even know what the problem was. They send me a ridiculous quote for the job and they charge my card 383.00 without authorization or informing me OR without an invoice. I had to call the bank to stop the payment. the manager Ed, with whom I spoke with told me John is not authorized to give a price over the phone and if you dont have it in writing I can’t help youThe worst service I have ever received and I even got the job done with HALF the quoted price. if I could give -5 stars I would. I do not recommend.

Comment: Bought a Big Joe pallet jack from Big Joe Hayward that was advertised made in USA. Didnt find out it was China until I was back at my shop. Called Big Joe about my concern and was told it has a 1 year warranty.. Figured fk it, its just a pallet jack, I should be fine...6 months later something broke internally under the hydraulic unit. It was still usable, but very sloppy. So I gave Big Joe a call.. Spoke to Joel. But he needed to speak to Sheri, then Sheri needed to speak to Joel, then Joel needed to speak to Sheri, and so on for 3-4 months.A service guy came by and visually looking at it claiming I think its normal. Then Sheri leaving me a voice message claiming they would get me a new one as soon as they got more in stock... A month later, Joel called me saying there is nothing he can do. Now Im stuck with the sloppy jack.$300 lesson learned. Dont buy cheap China.

Comment: They completely blew me off. I knew what I wanted and was ready to buy, but they said they didnt know what I wanted... Pallet racks, I wanted 3 pallet racks. Ive waited over a week, called 4 times and sent an email just for them to put a quote together. Customer service doesnt exist here, and it becoming harder to find for small businesses. Highly unrecommended.
