Comment: Bill himself is a wonderful agent! Personally he gets 5 stars, he is very professional yet friendly and takes the time to explain everything to you. I would have given five stars above but being an agent with State Farm knocks him down one star. I dont know how good State Farm is in other areas but in far Northern California theyre roadside service is unreliable. Ive called them twice for roadside service, once they didnt have a truck available due to a major winter storm and then the other time they were very busy and they didnt have the regular provider they offered to send me a provider but they will be coming from Redding area and an expected wait time of about 3 hours, also Id have to pay out-of-pocket for any charges and be reimbursed. I ended up just taking the bus to local AutoZone and getting a new battery and installing it into my car myself so at that point what was the point of even having roadside service? They really need to work on that, like maybe they could have their own truck up here in REAL Northern California or help subsidize a contract tow/service location in the center of this very rural and lowly populated area of Cali. BUT AGAIN, BILL IS GREAT!

The office personnel, namely Rachel Looney provided outstanding support and understanding when I lost my house in the Dixon fire, August 2021. Rachel always returned my calls, did her best to make my transition to temporary rentals as effortlessly as possible by providing ‘renters insurance’ coverage at my request, making it a priority. Within hours the ‘renters policy’ was completed to the satisfaction of the landlord, allowing me access to temporary housing.I consider her a part of ‘my team’ and trust her judgement implicitly.Sue Carranza

I was prepared for the process of reporting the theft to State Farm to be a difficult process. I was amazed at how easy State Farm made the processing of my claim. All of the staff were incredibly pleasant and made what should have been a grueling process much easier than I expected. We have been clients of Bill Mutteras for well over 20 years and have always had great service from him. I can now say that the claim handlers and adjusters also give great customer service. We highly recommend Bill and State Farm because they have not forgotten what customer service is all about.
