This place is amazing! I went there in search of some medical equipment my Dr prescribed. It had been a horrible day after an unfortunate accident. I required surgery and time off work in addition to medical equipment. I’m a barely more than minimum wage worker facing time off and no way to pay my bills and found that my Medicaid does not cover what my Dr prescribed and therefore making it harder to heal and return to work. I wish I could remember her name, because I was crying and trying not to take my frustrations out on her I don’t. She was amazing and I’m sure there were other incredible people with her. They got some of the equipment for me somehow and when I got home there was a bonus in the boot! Thank you so much for your patience and kindness! I have a long road ahead but I so much appreciate the “send off”. You are great people ( you know who you are)! I will pay it forward when I can.
Gene in Respiratory (Livonia location) took care of me today when I came into the store. Compassionate, caring and hes pretty funny too! I told him my difficulties my my bipap machine and he was able to give me some good insight and suggestions. Best interaction with a local business Ive had in a long time. Thank you Gene for your outstanding customer service! A+++++
I was actually hesitant after reading all the 1 star reviews but the nursing home my son has been in uses Binsons. What a lovely surprise to have gotten such wonderful service from everyone ( Tracey) on the phones right down to the darling delivery guys that brought the bed & wheelchair. An item was on backorder and I was able to grab one from their Livonia store. Take a number, no waiting, prompt service. Great job!
My experience with Binson has been anything but good. I have already spoken to our physician and told them not to put anything through to you. Why? Because this is the third time that I called this week just explain something to you. When I called on them on Monday the first time I was 15th in line and was told to leave a message and that I wouldnt lose my place in the cube and they would call me back. Two and a half hours later still no call so I called again and this time I got the same message but was now 26th in line with mo call back. So today when I called I finally got to talk to someone. This is not the only time that I have had trouble with you. Its about the third or fourth time.So if you are looking for a good report you wont get it from me.
This is the second and last time I will use this store. I sent in a script nearly 3 weeks ago, had to call 3 times to check the status. The communication is horrible, they put you on hold and then hang up on you and dont call back, so you have to call them. I was told that they had to contact my doctor, and when I called today, they said they talked to him early last week. So why wasnt I contacted? Service is horrible, I will never go back there.
I Went for an orthotic in November 2019. After taking several casts they were unable to fit to my ankle. Robert gave instead a fiberglass one. They did not give me the plastic one but still charged me $690 for it. I tried to explain to them that I did not get it but they kept choosing to ignore my pleas. They billed for the second one and added to the first. In the Krystal at billing told my insurance company that I have to pay the whole amount or it will go to collection. After a year of arguing with them I have to pay it because I dont want to ruin my credit. I just wanted to share this case of plain fraud.
Although a polite staff member aided in my request for a rollator for my husband she indicated that insurance approval could take 24-48 hours. After that time period I had not been contacted so I called to follow up. Calls are routed to a call center then placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I left a message and did not receive a return call. No live contact except for the operator.
Its one thing about Binsons they do follow up not only with me but with your doctor and insurance and it always a delight to talk with Jennifer and Alexis my experience with them was excellent customer experience i will recommend my family and friends to Binsons for their medical equipment needs , keep up the fantastic work BINSONS
I will never recommend this company, in fact I would give this company a negative rating if this was possible. This is the worst supply company I have ever had to deal with. I cant believe the level of incompetency of the staff in almost all facets of this company. For a year I have had Binsons, I called today to order Bi-Pap supplies and guess what? I apparently have never ordered Bi-Pap supplies through this company or thats what their records show. Also according to their records when they called a few weeks/month ago, Binsons still had not switched out my concentrator. Now I need Bi-pap supplies and because of Binsons incompetence, I have to get all the paperwork and a prior authorization to get a script for a Bi-Pap and all the supplies and send it to Binsons. Also according to Binsons they dont have my insurance on file but yet they have not failed to be paid by my insurance company. i was on hold for 17 mins at first and that was just to talk to the operator, then put on hold for 12 minutes for the C-Pap operator, after arguing with her about this incompetence, I asked for the Corporate # and then I was given the voicemail for the lady in charge of C-pap supplies. I am usually cut off after being on hold for so long, or being put on hold and then transferred to another department.
Not efficient. I simply wanted to buy a new hose real quick. Nope. You have to sign-in and wait for them to consult with you. Really behind the times here in 2021. I’m online now buying what I need instantly without Binsons. Don’t get stuck in their bureaucratic slog.
I read a lot of bad reviews before going to this store, but all the stores had bad reviews. I had interaction with 4 people, and they were all friendly and helpful. I had an appointment to be fit for custum orthotics later this week, but had discovered I had a conflicting appointment and dropped in because I was in the area. They were able to fit me, and I was on my way home in a short period of time. It will take a couple weeks to make the orthotics, which is normal. Thank you to the staff that I came in contact with. At this time I gave 5 stars because of the positive experience with yesterdays visit.
Before I start, I will say out of the 4 people I dealt with, 2 were friendly. Other than that this place is pretty much a disaster. I dealt with them on 2 occasions. The first occasion I was purchasing a compression stocking. I stood by the lady’s desk for several minutes while she did something on her computer without being acknowledged. When we finally got it ordered we were told it was out of stock but they could get it to us quick from another location. Apparently their definition of quick was nearly 3 weeks after several frustrated phone calls.The second time, I purchased a bed rail. When I got home it was clear that the bed rail was used due to open internal packaging, no instructions, missing and broken pieces. For the price I paid for it I expected top notch quality, not having to take another hour out of my day to return it. The woman that helped with the return behind the main desk was helpful, but this a review about the overal store and not an individual employee.
Ive never been happy with Binsons. I was recommended to get my CPAP here by my PCP as its one of the few medical supply companies in my area. When I first picked up my equipment, I was told they didnt have the tubing in stock and it would be promptly mailed to me - it took over 2 months and follow up calls to receive that. Right after that initial pickup, I also began to be spammed by automated phone calls from Binsons without ever having the opportunity to opt out or speak with a representative to follow up on why I was receiving the calls.Today was the cherry on top. I am in tears from the appalling customer service I just received. I have never felt so disregarded as a person and patient. I have been given a prescription for a new mask type due to severe complications with my original mask. Upon calling to schedule a fitting appointment, I find out that Im being barred from receiving medical supplies due to a Noncompliance note that is not being explained to me, and am being refused the opportunity to talk to a representative or manager that can explain and assist with this.In general, Ive always been frustrated by the difficulty in reaching a representative to talk to at Binsons. Now, I am appalled by the lack of knowledge the basic representatives have, and the complete disregard for customer service I just experienced. There is no reason for a customer service representative to refuse to acknowledge my stated reason for calling, and proceed to explain to me that I am being refused a service I didnt request. There is certainly no reason I should be on hold for 40min while a representative tries to understand a note on my account, and then have my request to speak with a manager that can explain the situation and help me resolve it completely brushed off with a well try to have someone contact you later.
Unfortunately, I had a worse experience with Binson in Livonia, Mi. Their staff is very unwelcoming and rude. It took more than a year to get a wheelchair for my mother. They kept on sending me back and forth to the doctor and insurance. Each time when I talked to the phone I get different answers with a rudeness. Especially female staff need training to deal with customer. I will never use this service again ever. If there would be a negative star I would pick that for there service and dealings.
Faxed prescription and called to verify receipt and availability of product. Waited on hold for phone to be answered for over 15 minutes only to be transferred and then disconnected. Tried again 2 days later... same result. Called back same day and on hold for 14 minutes before someone answered - explained what happened and Ive now been on hold for another 12 minutes and still waiting. Seriously... this is ridiculous. I will go to another medical supply company and would encourage all to steer clear of this place.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. Don’t use the Livonia location. After visiting the Livonia location to purchase supplies for my cpap machine, I was informed my prescription had expired. So the gentleman who waited on me contacted the doctor. He assured me they had the supplies in stock and would reach out to me as soon as the prescription came through. I called the Livonia store 5 hours later only to be put on hold. After waiting 20 minutes someone picked up from their main location. She checked and the prescription came in from my doctor about 2 hours from my original visit. This person confirmed the Livonia store did not have all my cpap supplies available. So I call the Livonia store again and Centerline picks up. It seems weird how you call one location and someone else from another location picks up. They try to call the Livonia location several times to verify if the cpap supplies are available in Livonia and no one picks up. Very poor customer service!!! Shame on the gentleman who did not follow through with calling me as he offered and promised to do. Absolutely ridiculous to jump through so many hoops to get cpap supplies I was promised Livonia was supposedly holding for me! According to Centerline store suppliesare being shipped. I’ll believe it when the package arrives.
I have been here a few times to pick up replacement handles for a cane. They seem to have several accessory type items available. The sales clerks are very knowledgeable & helpful. Their office space/ front reception area seems crowded with sales desks etc. It doesnt invite me to avail myself of their more specialized services. The parking isnt very good either, It isnt conducive to the amount of freeway traffic that goes by all day, turning into or out of the business can be difficult depending on the time of day so plan carefully.
Needed a custom knee brace. Was told is would take about 2 weeks, which is understandable. I called when it had been 2 weeks, brace had been there but I was never called. Was informed that I needed an appointment to pick it up. Appointment times are not convenient to anyone who has to work normal business hours.
I,m looking for a power recliner/ lift chair for my 89yo mother. First I went to the Taylor location and found them closed, then called Dearborn location and spoke to 4 different people being transferred to the correct department. After the last transfer I waited 10 minutes then gave up and disconnected. I then called the Livonia location # but as others have stated was answered by another location. I asked if they were open as I wanted to look at reclining lift chairs. Person said they were open for curbside PU and hung up. I’ve bought several items for both my dad prior to his passing and my mom from bensons, but no more.
I was greeted as soon as I walked into the building and asked what brought me in for the day. I needed to be fitted for my CPAP, and the lady directed me to where I would sign in. I did have an appointment that was scheduled for 10 a.m., and my appointment started at 10:04 a.m. . The lady that help me with the machine and The Mask fitting was very professional and kind. I was hesitant because I read all the negative reviews but everything went perfectly for me. I have no problem going back there for any of my supplies.
The service was pretty good and only had to wait 10 mins to get fitted for ankel stirrup.Heres what I dont like: I was required to pay my $79 required deductible right then, no problem normal stuff. BUT about 8 weeks later they sent me a bill asking me to pay the same thing again. Fortunately I have my receipt to send in. Cant help to wonder if its an honest mistake or something else.......
Terrible. Every time Ive been here, Ive had a poor experience. They dont have enough salespeople. They are not customer friendly. Unless you go through your insurance, they do not want to do a cash sale. Poor communication. Good luck trying to reach a staff person there when youre calling. You dont get the store itself. You get transferred, then you get transferred to the wrong person.
I was in a car accident and required a boot for a broken foot. My adjuster was giving me the runaround about paying for a $200 bill. I got a letter in the mail saying Binsons was going to send it to collections. I called and got it extended to April 1. I called today to see if I can get another extension or I would have just paid it myself. They sent it today to collections! 2 DAYS EARLY! I asked if it is going to go on my credit if I paid it right now. I was told to call the collection agency. The woman I talked to even said she was the one that extended it being sent to collections. I am so upset. I have great credit... I will not be recommending Binsons from now on. Binsons was always the place I recommended.
Worst store alive! The company overall is a disgrace. My wife waited over an hour and a half to get 2 oxygen tanks. They delivered them to our house the first few times and now they could not all of a sudden? Our baby ran almost ran out of oxygen waiting for them and was crying and hungry and had a poop filled diaper and this should have been a 10-15 minute stop and they made it horrible. I wish hospitals and insurance companies could find someone better because the company as a whole a been a nightmare to work with every time we call.
Friendly service but when they told me to wait 48-72 hours for my knee brace I did, I missed a couple days of school because I couldn’t do the whole day without stabilization from the brace. I came back 4 days later and they told me to wait another 1-2 days. Every time I come here there is some dilemma I have to deal with. It’s just seems way to stressful and unorganized.
They are very unprofessional. They say anything just to get you off of the phone. Never call you with updates like they say they will. Never answer the phone and when they do they are very rude. They expect the customers to do all of the leg work, all of the phone calls and all of the follow up calls. Kept never receiving fax it was getting to be extremely embarrassing to have to keep calling my dr office back to fax again. I have been waiting for 2 months for a standard wheelchair. I will do everything I possibly can to NEVER deal with these people again!!
Went in looking for an arm sling for my grandfather. Not a single helpful employee, they were incredibly rude and acted as if I should just obviously know where in the store all items are located. On top of that, there was no one at the cash register so it took forever to check out once I finally found what I needed (without any employee help). Without a doubt the worst customer service I’ve experienced in 23 years of living in the Livonia area.
The worst company for medical needs. They transferred me 3 times and when I finally got someone she was rude and unhelpful and told me if I wanted to replace my empty emergency oxygen tank I could come get it but they wont deliver them. I cant pick them up so I now have no backup oxygen.So I called my insurance and they are switching me to another supplier. Awful absolutely awful. I would never ever recommend them to anyone.
Very pleased ....my first interaction was a phone call, during which I felt the employee was somewhat short and rushed. When I went in the next day, the man who assisted me was the same one who first took my call (I recognized his voice) but this time he was pleasant and helpful. I have been here a few times since, and they are always busy, yet I never have waited to be helped - they are very prompt, efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. They even have books/toys for kids while adults are serviced. I highly recommend them.
Gene was so nice and very helpful when it came to my Cpap supply issues. He was patient with me, and concerned when I had any problems with my machine. Plus, he had some good corny humor which made the process easier for me. Only reason for four stars was from the call center not telling me to make an appointment to set up cpap account in their dinosaur computer system. I wasn’t happy to hear that when I walked into the store. But, thankfully gene helped me out. Thanks to him!
These guys are a joke so far. My CPAP machine stopped working and called them for a replacement/repair. They said they needed a prescription from my doctor. So, OK, no problem. So they get the prescription and say they will call me to set up an appointment. So one day goes by, two days go by...nothing. So I call them to find out whats going on. Of course the lady I talk to doesnt know anything about it...neither does anybody else. So now I have to make an appointment at the Livonia location...but they dont have any openings for the next six days! Good thing I dont need this thing to sleep....oh, wait a minute, I DO NEED IT TO SLEEP!!! Sure am glad Binsons cares about their customers. You probably dont want them to be supplying you with oxygen or anything like that. Youll be dead by the time they get around to you, assuming they dont lose your order completely. This story isnt over, Im sure. Betcha when I go for my appointment six days from now they will have screwed something else up. But well see. Miracles do happen. LOL....
I found them to be very unprofessional, unreliable and arrogant. This started out as a family business and now they have become too successful to even care about their customers. Poorly trained or just lazy, they lack empathy and urgency that is essential in caring for the elderly customer. Totally unexceptable customer service poorly managed. There is a very good reason they have a 2.7 rating.
Very little regard and respect for your time. Horrible customer service. They rarely answer the phone and will waste a lot of your time when you go to their Livonia location. Be prepared to wait a long time. I was there over 40 minutes and still do not have what I need.They also were rude, misleading and unethical in their communication to me and to my healthcare plan. I would highly recommend that you try to go somewhere else for your medical supplies, if at all possible. It was some of the worst service I have ever received! I wish that I could give it 0 stars actually.
Well supplied but lacking adequate customer service reps to answer phones on a timely basis. Had to correct servers 3 times regarding the status of my order; finally it was filled. Was there 20 minutes and no one else there to serve. Advise Binsons to hire needed help. Can do better.
My oxygen tank stopped working so I got a new one, they delivered me a used, cracked oxygen tank that doesn’t charge. There was a slip in the bag saying the unit was inspected months ago. Just really upset that they’d be so careless about something so important & do absolutely nothing to make it right. I called up and was told they won’t be able to drive another one out until next week, so hopefully I won’t run out of air by then.
I read a lot of negative reviews about the Livonia store. I visited the store to purchase Sigvaris Compression Socks. I had to wait about 15 minutes because they were somewhat busy. I observed the reps in action with customers and I noticed that everyone was treated professionally and courteously. When my number was called I was attended to by Valentina. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was pleased with the service and would recommend this store to anybody looking for medical supplies.
I should have read the reviews. This place was the worst. I ordered a wheelchair in May. It was broken. Took until September to order a new one. It was supposed to be delivered. Six weeks later I get a call your wheelchair is ready for pick up. When I returned the call the women on the phone acted as if I was BOTHERING her. And she spoke to me like I had no clue about what I was taking about and was NOT going to further help me. So I asked to please speak to a manager. She came back on the phone as irratated as before letting me know I did know what I was talking about and that I could come exchange the chair. I asked again to speak a manager it was hard to get a manager on the phone. When I did talk to a manager all I get is a sorry and she was just as irratated as well as insulting to me. NEVER GOING BACK! But they dont care.
I have a bilateral tendon injury, meaning both of my knees are pretty much shot. After my 2 week follow up with my doctor, I was told that the knee brace that was fitted for me at the surgical institute was the incorrect size and was given a script for a $900 brace assuming my blue care network insurance did not cover it. I had a right and left leg script written. Because I only had surgery on my right knee, I already had a knee brace on my right knee, when we went into Binsons to get fitted for a new one. We were told by one of the fitters, Mandy, that because we were already given a brace by the surgical institute the insurance probably wont cover the new brace and we would need to contact the surgical institute for a new right brace. It took me and my mother calling the surgical institute and my doctors office to suggest running it anyway and if it gets denied then they will appeal it. It was not Mandys job to discourage us from at least checking to see if the insurance would cover it. Her attitude was based off her experience it probably wont get approved. After waiting 40 minutes for Mandy to get back from her lunch break we asked, well since I have not had surgery on my left knee can we get that one fitted and come back for the right knee should it be approved. Mandy says Yes, but the way I like to do it is if we know for sure that its approved before fitting so if you want it fitted today you must sign a form agreeing you will pay the cost of the brace if the insurance does not cover it. Which is fine, but her attitude about the whole situation was nasty as if she did not want us to get a brace that day. She fitted the brace on my left knee, and when I got home I put it on my right knee because at the time that was the only thing that indeed fit. Latoya at the front desk called me a couple days after (and might I add her service was wonderful) and told me that BOTH knee braces were approved. If we listened to Mandy that day I would not have 2 correctly fitted knee braces. This is a problem! Mandy is just a fitter, she is not the insurance and should not be discouraging people from getting the necessary medical supplies they need off of assumptions. The medical industry requires empathy and care not nastiness and an unnecessary attitude. Terrible customer service.We go back to get my other knee brace that was APPROVED, Robert was our fitter for that day (he had great customer service, polite and informative), as were walking into the fitting room, mandy walks by and tells him loud enough for us to hear she put the brace that was meant for her left on her right and then proceeded to go tell the women at the front desk as well. The fact that she even had the audacity to speak loud enough for me and my mother to hear her talking about us was rude in its self, but it was not even her place to make snide comments, I told the front desk that anyway and I also told Robert why I switched the braces and he perfectly understood, switched them and adjusted them accordingly. I would give this place 1 star, but I added an extra one because Robert and Latoya were so nice and friendly but Mandy completely ruined my experience at Binsons.
I wish I could give 0 star here. This is the most pathetic service I received in rent times. I wife had Ankle ligament injury & doctor recommend walking boot for recovery. In hurry, I reached this Binson store & nightmare started since then. They gave the walking boot which was not fitting properly to my wife & charged $ 328 to my insurance company. Later I found that this boot is not covered in my insurance plan & in walmart/amazon it is available in between $55-65. Moreover the boot was not fitting to my wifes ankle she was not wearing it at all. I went back to return it & they said it can not be returned. Shame.. I asked them why they charge so much when its available in market. They said, they are professionals.. What professionals.. they can not fit the boot properly & say they are professions.. I went there multiple times and tried reach their manager but no one helped. So, I gave up.. but decided to never deal with this company.
Worlds worst wound care company ever! Was forced to come here after rehab each month it is like pulling teeth to get any supplies. Then when I do get supplies I NEVER ever get what I am told I am going to get. Then given the run around when I try to get it straightened out. And some service representatives are very rude when you try to talk to them about the situation. It is always someone else’s fault and not the fact that they can’t count the right amount of supplies. Worst part is they charge way too much for the amount of supplies given.
The telephone customer service reps for the CPAP department are horrible. They dont seem to know anything about the service they are supposed to offer. They can not read the doctors orders correctly and put in the wrong setting and send the wrong supplies. They cant even schedule appointments at the service centers correctly. The reps at the service center seem frustrated and angry because they have to correct the phone centers mistakes. They all seem to hate their jobs. I would NEVER recommend Binson. Worst experience ever.
I was hesitant about going to Binsons Home Health Care after reading some of the horrible reviews online. I needed to buy a wheel chair for a friends mom for an upcoming trip she was going on. Gene and Patricia were really helpful and waited on me right away. They went over the different types of wheel chairs and the advantages and disadvantages of each type. Their prices are a bit higher than I found online, but their wonderful service was worth the extra money. They said theyd also take care of things if the chair broke, had warranty issues, etc. This is something that I wouldnt have received if I bought it online through Amazon or something. The chair was really nice, easy to push around and very comfortable for my friends mom. It went from Michigan to Chicago to Hong Kong to Macau and back and was still in great shape. Gene was in training and Patricia was helping him. They were both so nice. Thanks for the great service!
Mar 2020 downgraded rating... the woman working is respiratory yesterday in livonia refused to sell us an 11 ft oxy line leaving my mom in a fall risk situation. She has a 4 ft hose now. Has her oxy machine on her rollator and has to walk backwards into bathroom pulling rollator backwards. I WILL HOLD BINSONS RESPONSIBLE IF SHE FALLS. Im looking for workaround. Also their portable oxy machines are not kept in good working condition. External battery no longer charges on unit that is a month old. Back to binsons yet again why isnt this equipment reliable???Dec2019 Their service has improved over the last 2 years so upgraded from 1 to 4 stars. This applies to the respiratory dept.
The reviews came up when I was making a map and I was honestly scared of what I was walking into! I have to say my experience was nothing like some of the people who had a hard time. I had an appointment, so I am not sure if this made a difference, and arrived 20 minutes early and was seen right away. There were people waiting in the other area for different items (I was getting a CPAP). The woman who helped me was from the Southline store, however there were other staff that assisted, they were helpful to me and each other and it was fast, easy and they were very nice.
They informed me that they needed to set me up with a new blood testing meter, which is fine. What wasnt fine was what they sent me. A crappy tester that gives you blood sugar # s 100 points off. Further researching device it is worth under 10 bucks but charged my insurance $ 75!! Reviews of the product show its inaccurate performance and even stated unsafe by Medical Professionals because of its inaccuracy. Extremely unhappy with this money hungry company.
Don’t bother. After calling the location inside St Mary’s hospital where a reached an answering machine, not a person, I called the other Livonia location. For some unknown reason, the Centerline store picked up even though I had dialed Livonia. When I explained that I wanted to speak to Livonia location, the woman who had answered said that she would transfer my call. After waiting on hold for ten minutes, my call was suddenly disconnected. I’ll be moving on to a different company.
The staff at Binson’s have ALWAYS treated us with respect and professionalism. They go out of their way to find an appropriate solution for whatever our needs may be. They are incredibly knowledgeable regarding durable medical equipment, medical products, and health insurance benefits. They are my go to DME supplier
All phone calls go to headquarters so you can not deal directly with Livonia location. I set up an appointment through the headquarters and went to Livonia. My cpat machine was evaluated and I was told I needed it repaired. Then I was told I needed a prescription from my doctor sent to the office and then make another appointment to get a loaner unit while they repair my cpat. My doctor sent prescriptions twice to the Livonia store and I attempted to make an appointment to return. The headquarters had no record of the prescription (it was sent to Livonia) and told me it was not sent. Finally, they called my doctor and he had to send the prescription to the headquarters as well.Now after using a leaking cpat for 2 days, I am told I can make an appointment in another 6 days. The other option is to go to the Livonia store and get in line. Last time at the Livonia store the line was 10 long, no where to sit and took over 1 hour to be seen. I live 15 miles from the Livonia store as Binsons is not convenient to Canton. My first meeting at Livonia store when I complained about how inconvenient it was, I was told that life is not fair so get used to it.As a Medicare patient, I have no choice where to go for cpat problems or supplies - Binsons won the Medicare contract. Now I am trying to find out how to fill out a quality audit on Binsons for the government. Poor customer service, unorganized system and not enough workers - Thanks Binsons.
My Ninety- nine year old father is at his wits end over the five day late delivery of a power scooter that after a hasty drop off has proven to be a faulty piece of equipment . Out of four days in his possession the scooter has only run twice. It has no power. Its dead !He called Binsons and has had no response or remedy.I am disturbed as I was charged $590.00 for rental, deposit, and delivery and my father is not getting what we signed up for at all.I Feel Binsons is a very poorly operated company and is incapable of the standard of care that their business requires.
Had to fill a prescription for a nebulizer. Was asked to take a number, waited for 20 minutes then was told to wait back in the corner, those two guys will help you. 30 minutes later when I was on deck, a person with an appointment walked and and was helped, ok. At the desk, was told it would take 45 minutes to set up my account since I was a new customer. Set aside some or call ahead. Dont expect to walk in and walk out. Update: received a call later as promised, my order had been filled and is ready for pickup. 30 minutes later, still waiting.
I am a 6 yr post stroke victim that uses an AFO due to foot drop.Three months ago my doctor wrote a Rx for a new one. The first mess up was getting insurance approval as the current AFO is too small and ill-fitted. Your office staff called Medicaid instead of Medicare. That delayed us. When they finally cleared that up, I went in for my leg casting. Well, almost 3 months later, your office calls and asks if I still need my AFO!!!!!!!!!! Seriously?!?!?!?! We cancelled the order. No explanation as to why the just called. I have NEVER EVER met such an inept group of office workers AND they deal with peoples health.
Ive been dealing with this company since 2013, and although the service about getting supplies to your door is very good the customer is by far the worst I ever had to deal with. Its not just this location its every location. 1 day you call and get info the next day its totally different. And the rudeness is the worst. Dont dare ask a question becomes they will make you feel stupid.
Very dis satisfied with the service. Totally unhelpful and now I am left with a pro-thesis that is in 2 parts and I am unable to walk. Because they are not backing up their product and they told me since my insurance lapsed due to my husband changing jobs that they wont help me even though the leg was made by them.
I am astonished that this place is still in business. They have more than enough staff however they hide behind the desk and ignore you when you try to get their attention. 6 people were having a conversation giving each other high fives while myself and a handful of other customers were wandering around unsure of what to do. I watched a woman wait five minutes for someone to come to the counter to check her out. When she asked an employee on the sales floor they acted annoyed that this woman wanted to make a purchase. This cashier then took plenty of time getting to the counter and had no manners. When I asked her for what I needed she was uneducated and unhelpful. I will not return. Do not go here unless you like wasting time and being treated like an inconvenience.
I have to say how impressed I was with the great service I received ! I was looking for a lift chair for mother and the salesman (Matt) wasSo Informational on the product We got the perfect one for her ! Thank for taking the extra step on making sure she was well taken care of!
Binsons customer service is absolutely terrible. Before Livonia visit my Binson corporate assistance to get my insurance set up took numerous phone calls, repetitive call backs, no answers to the phones, voice mails ignored. Why would my insurance recommend them? Many phone staff appear to be untrained, dont care, no follow through. Excessive wait times. I am a younger customer and if I was elderly and needed help....I would never been unable to get anything accomplished. Multiple phone calls, no follow through, constantly bounced around in voice mail, no answers, no messages returned. Prices are inflated.
Worst customer service on 3 separate visits. No one can tell u anything unless u take a number and sit in a very lengthy line. Even if u have a simple question and there r 5 employees sitting at their desk looking at their computers..not with a customer in front of them nor on the phone just glued to their screens. When u ask for help all of them say pick a number. Only two people r serving the number line..with involved ins issues. So a customer with a simple question is expected to sit and wait. Find another provider!! ...that services their customers!
Horrible!Went in for a quad cane. The man that helped me (didnt give his name- although there is a sign up that says they always give their name lol) kept having problems with the computer. Said he had to back out of the screen. Still couldnt get it to work. He then decided to talk to someone about a back order while i was sitting there waiting. It was not a quick call. It was a long one. Im looking around and see three, THREE employees sitting at their desks, without customers. Why didnt he just transfer me? So i wanted my prescription back so i could go elsewhere. He refused at first! Probably thought i would just wait there while he dealt with another customer....i left. He was also extremely rude. Told me to go pick out a cane. I did. He very rudely told me i picked out one with a large base not a small etc...i had to go back all because he as too lazy to help me. I will be going somewhere else. Somewhere that the employees are polite and courteous and know what they are doing. That was my first time here....and my last!
This is the second time I had to come back to this place. The first time I left because it took forever, and no one acknowledged me. I just needed to pick up a nebulizer for my daughter. It took forever to see anyone. They are not very helpful here. Its like waiting at the DMV. No one wants to help you here. Customer service here is horrible. I am ready to leave again and go somewhere else because how slow this place is. Both times I have been here, it was not busy at all. I dont understand it.
We ordered two posters, they were provided photos and was told it was a $10 fee for the editing. That an email would be sent with the proof for review and approval. Upon receiving the proof it was not what was discussed, modifications were made. When the product was completed a day after scheduled pick up was then charged an additional $15 for editing but was never informed, and was then told that the initial proof that was sent was a work in progress. Why an additional fee of $15? The staff member assisting at the counter was rude. For a special poster, the final cost was expensive for the quality of work completed and the hassle of having it done right and on time.
If you have an air mattress because of someone who is paralyzed and you call Bensons you might as well realize you are conducting your own phone scam. They will tell you everything you want to hear and then send a letter stating that you have to pay for it if insurance doesnt. When they were called it was put through as a emergency....even the health care nurse called to show the urgency of the situation. Bensons never got back with us. We had to call and be told that a letter was sent out.....WHY didnt Bensons call? We called on a Tuesday and was told the letter was send Monday ( yesterday ) and the letter was post marked for Wednesday after the call and we got the letter Saturday...10 days after the original emergency call. Bensons air mattresses are suppose to last 5 years according to their letter and it only last 2 years. Was told if we pay with cash it would cost $600 plus but if it goes throught medicare it will be $3000 plus. I believe we all need to ban together and let our insurance companys know. BENSONS WE ARE BLOWING THE WHISTLE.In our experience with Bensons...going on 2 years 10 months they are just for the money. They couldnt even call to let us know the situtation about the air mattress. Shame on every manager for letting the ball drop so many times that you have a 2.7 rating. Tell me Bensons would you like to eat at a restaurant with a 2.7 or a hospital with a 2.7. Do you understand?
Once I get to the store, service is okay, but getting them to follow threw with a new Oder is very bad. Nobody will call you and unless you call them. Then you are told to leave a message, and we will call you back. They never called you to back, so what will be different this time. Then the stars, It will only let me do the 1st on.
Sorry, I have had nothing but horror stories with Binsons, especially in terms of billing. I have repeatedly had issues with insurance issues they failed to resolve at their end, where I ended up receiving past due notices though I was covered. Frankly, I got to the point I was fearful of using Binsons altogether and started buying CPAP supplies off ebay.
When a patient has to contact Binsons because Binsons does not handle business like a business then just maybe its time to look for another medical supply company.I no longer do business with your compression department the MOD for the department tried to resolve this matter to no avail therefore I have gone with a competitor that assures me that what happened @ Bensons will not happen @ their company may take all my medical supply needs elsewhere.
A COMPLETE and utter DISASTER from the service to the temperament of the people to lack of all professionalism, forgotten patients, lost paperwork, HIPAA concerns as well, etc.... If you have to order a product be prepared to wait 3-6 months for it. This is NOT just a one time thing...its a way of practice here at Livonias Binsons.
Total scam. Purchase whatever you need off Amazon. Paying for it out of your pocket will be WAY less then what these guys charge you. Half the stuff they sent me home with was used. Never told that until i got the invoice. Even after insurance (250ish charged to me), I could have bought the same stuff off Amazon for $150 less. I will never use these guys again.
0 Rating. NEVER AGAIN! Signed up at Binsons for Diabetic supplies...NEVER received a bill until a notice of collections arrived. Personally visited Binsons - Rep stated bill was paid from BC/BS and all is good. Received 2nd notice of collection. Paid another visit and was instructed to call their billing. Called billing; was notified (by a very cocky Rep) that they did send a bill which was returned due to an incorrect address. AND BASICALLY THIS IS ALL MY FAULT.
Was told that the item on my childs script was not covered by insurance. Tried to sell us the item instead. She sent us on our way when she found out I didnt have the money. never asked for our insurance information, nor did she check with the insurance company. I checked with my insurance company before I went to binsons, so...now Ill go to Harts.

This same EXACT wheel chair is sold at Walmart for $110.00, at Walgreens for $129.00 and another online outlet for $130.00. The ONLY difference is the private label the manufacturer puts on the wheelchair for the retail outlet. How dare they fleece at $695.00!! DO YOUR SHOPPING ONLINE!! Im calling the local news channels!! See them on channel 2, 4 and 7 soon!!

This is a line all Binson employees are told to tell their customers aside from all being inept. That was back on January 5th. Today is April 13 and not only is the product NOT done but they are not returning our calls. However, they have our property they are not returning to us. This will have to go to court. ROBERT is the main culprit. Says one thing, does another. Not just once, but for years. Hey Robert, can you tell us why our product isnt done yet, its 13 weeks overdue? I dont know he says. He doesnt go to find out. He doesnt take accountability, he doesnt care. What more could you want your Orthopedist NOT to be like? He knowingly lies to us. Is unaccountable for his inability to do what he promises. Binsons in Livonia is dangerous to those who are already at a disadvantage. Please go somewhere else. In fact, Im sure they even want you to.
The worst customer service ever. Waiting 30 min for them to laugh and tell me they didnt know how to retrieve my info on my cpap machine 3 people to help no one would look up and say be with you shortly just acted like the people were invisible. Arent you there to try to help people? This place is a joke.
Call the Livonia store wanted to buy some CPAP supplies switch me to corporate i waited for 45 minutes on the phone then they answer the phone and hang up immediately called back whole thing starts again dont waste your time with Bensons good luck finding a good medical supply store they are all a bunch of clowns

2022-03-08My experience at Binsons today was the best Ive ever had at a medical supply store. Tricia helped me right away. She was efficient and friendly, and she checked to make sure what our insurance would and wouldnt cover, making sure I understood.

2022-01-19Faith returned my faith in Binsons by her wonderful service. After the awful service from the CPAP department at Centerline location, I almost hated dealing with them for my CPAP supplies. Faith somehow found a water tank that I needed for my machine that was acting up so much that I couldnt sleep. Showed they had none, but she found one. Helped me quickly get in and out. If you go to this location, ask for Faith to help if you need CPAP supplies. Will use this location from now on.

2022-04-28It’s been about 10 months since i went in and was fitted for knee brace, meantime i got a shot and felt better but forgot about the status of my brace, i called 2 times and was told they needed paperwork from my doctors for the insurance, on February 12th 2022 my doctor said he spoke with them and gave them all the information they wanted, I called back, they had no record speaking with my doctor, i was promised they will stay on-top of it and keep me posted, it’s april 28th and still didn’t hear anything from the, i do not recommend this company at all, save your self the headache and go somewhere else…

2021-12-13Every time you call they are out of oxygen tanks how does a medical supply store run out of what theyre supposed to supply continuously. Order enough to supply your patients. I have to sit on phone for a hour to get through to anyone to hear that theyre out of what I need. Also I need it to get in touch with their BiPAP department to order supplies. I just sat on the phone for an hour and 10 minutes and finally said forget it and hung up. I think Im going to be finding a new supply store this is ridiculous Bensons is going downhill along with all of the rest of the businesses in the United States because no one wants to work and do their job. And the girls that answer the phone are at home. When they do answer you can hear kids in the background and dogs. This is pathetic.

2021-12-13Only giving one star in order to write this review. Binson is awful, customer service is awful. I have requested help for over a month and get the run around. They say my doctors prescription is missing information, though do they are for correct information? Nope. I have to call and follow up. Ridiculous. My equipment is not working properly but Im given no direction to get it repaired. I give up. Binson is just useless.
